essentials4you: Thank you. I use to do them back in the day. When I was a kid my Mom use to do them on my hair just so she could stretch my hair and make it easier to comb. When i do them I need to use bobby pins, but my Mom could do it without.

essentials4you: You have me thinking...I have never had moisture balance until after I had my second big chop and went gray. I based my texture on my dried out natural hair. I will check out videos of people who do have 3c/ hair. I haven't heard of dewpoints. I do use glycerines. I also haven't heard of anti-humectants.

essentials4you: My oldest daughter was telling my hair wasn't 4 the other day too. She thinks it has changed, but it hasn't. By washing my hair in conditioner only most of the time has made my hair look less kinky. When I have nothing on my hair you can see the real texture. Check my six month check in. That is how it looks with no product. I wish I could get my own daughters to listen more..They think Im to old to tell them anything about their hair.

essentials4you: AWW..Thanks. I look at the hair with the black color and maybe I should have used a softer black color because it does look harsh. That's what I call it Harsh....I think when you get older the hair should be lighter, but that Harsh black color was the only color that would cover my hard to cover gray.

essentials4you: I'm thinking humectants are honey, glycerines and things like that???.. What are anti humectants....Now I really would like to see your hair. ... I wasn't familiar with hair types until I started looking at u-tube. I got my info from others on what type of hair I may have. I looked at a few utubers with 3c hair and I notice my mom/dad both have hair like 3c type. So umm??? Maybe I will do a video and just ask everyone. Do you think maybe its mixed 3c/4a maybe???
