Hi, I'm Daniel Rob, hair stylist from Los Angeles, California, and today I'm gon na talk to you about how to get rid of gray hair forever. First of all, you can't there is no magic pill, but with the help of a great hair, stylist or colorist, you can get on a maintenance program that will help blend out your gray or cover your gray and through maintaining with your colorist monthly visits. You can hide that gray so that nobody ever knows your secret it'll, be strictly between you and your hairdresser. So I'm going to tell you the few different ways or the most popular ways to get rid of gray forever. The first way is to do what we call a demi-permanent color. This will help blend the gray away. It doesn't get rid of all the gray, but it blends a great way. Almost takes you back a few years when your hair started to get gray, but it wasn't completely white yet or silver. Yet, so you still had some dark in there and with a demi-permanent color. The great part is the maintenance is less than say with permanent hair color, so you can get your hair colored every four or eight weeks you don't get a regrowth line or that you know gray coming in that root line, because with AD mi permanent it slowly Washes out of the hair, so that's one way. Another way is to do what we call a reverse weave or a reverse highlight where you take dark color and it's like instead of blonde you're, going to take dark, color and you're going to have the hair stitched out or weaved out and foils applied to those Pieces of hair and dark color put on those pieces and what that does is helps put darker pieces back into your gray hair once again, blending out the gray, and so it kind of cuts that lightness or that grayness to the hair. Once again, taking you back a few years to what you used to look like but or your hair got lighter or grayer. So the third and final way to get rid of your gray forever is to use permanent hair. Color you'll get the most coverage and you'll get the most complete. Look, but there'll be more maintenance with permanent hair color, because you'll get a root line that comes out and will show and depending on how gray your hair is, that will forecast. How often you'll need to get into the salon to have your hair colored or have that root touched up? So all three processes I highly recommend I love hair color. I recommend it for my clients, often I'm Daniel Rob, hair colorist from Los Angeles, California, and thank you for watching my video on how to get rid of gray hair forever.

joey_rooklyn: thanks for the explanations I wash I had seen this before I got my last hair color, I think I would like the Demi over the perm, my hair is turning silver im not ready to go grey yet, but I don't want to start with a harsh grow out line. What brands would you recommend?

Van2Dan: Hi Daniel, can I still use those haircoloring if my hair is a crew cut?

No more War!: I also read that somewhere, also read that low zinc and iron levels can make you more grey, also other minerals and vitamins but I cant remember which ones. I think if we make sure our vitamin and mineral intake is good that will help over all with hair and over all health.

subdued joy: You aren't staying true to your naturally silver hair if it doesn't have to be silver naturally. Silver hair might be a sign that the body is not getting enough catalase, iron, B12, copper, ...

williamsea10: BLENDING OUT GREY is the best way to keep your grey but enhance it with high and low lights. I have spent hundreds of dollars for base colors and highlights that do not stay when you wash your hair. Keep your grey hair and ask for blending with highlights or lowlights.

Julie D: eh, its still all a lot of maintenance and damaging to your hair. My hair grows very fast so I can see roots in 5 to 7 days. No way can I color my hair that often to keep the gray away.

Yvonne C Salazar: Hi Daniel, What about Demi Perm Haircolor? I have used ION demi w/ a hairdryer at my roots and it really covers them! It will eventually wash out, but I do not want to put any perm color on my hair anymore, esp. anything w/ ammonia.

meyersonfire: Thanks. You're awesome

L. S.: Does semipermanent color gray? Which do u recommend for DIY?

Jay Bizz: Try zinc copper!!

Kate Parkes: well God can do miracles! New thing to beleive him for. That grey hair stops growing in. :)

Michaela Cannon: Daniel, you are adorable. When are you coming to Riverside? We need you!

ectoteric: You don't show any end results!!!

Jennette Castillo: Why is everyone so mean?? He is simply saying to use perm hair color instead of temp because it last longer on gray. Someone posted (hes so gay not that theres anything wrong with that) Well to that person I say if there isnt anything wrong with it in your eyes then why post it? Anyway it is a good tip for some people who thought temp hair color on gray is as good as perm.

subdued joy: Hydrogen peroxide can cause hair to loose its color; so don't color your hair with hair color that contains hydrogen peroxide. The enzyme catalase helps break down hydrogen peroxide. As the body gets older, it produces less of the enzyme catalase. This enzyme can be found in carrots, white potatoes, wheat sprouts, liver, and supplement form. Iron and B12 deficiency will also cause hair to loose its color.

margarida nowheretobefound: misleading title :)
