Wash Day & Detangling Fine Thin Gray Natural Hair| How To Care For Gray Hair

Hello, beautiful butterflies in this video, i'm going to show you my wash day routine for my grey natural hair. First up is nature's little secret, fenugreek, detangling pre-poo, and let me tell you guys: this delivers on its claims to melt tangles, promote hair growth, soften the hair and strengthen our hair follicles. So first i take my flareol bottle: full of distilled water and essential oils, peppermint, rosemary and vanilla, for scent i soften the hair so that i can put it in four sections. This is an old wash and go, and the water helps me to get through this. Tangled hair, that is one of the disadvantages of primarily wearing wash and go. I continue to get lots of tangles and, as you're going to see single strand knots. I also believe, because i let my hair go too long between wash days could be. The other reason why i become so tangled it's important to release those shed hairs from the hair. Now, as you can see, this is a tangle teaser from bold, unique. They are maker of purple shampoo and they sent me the shampoo and this comb and at first when i saw a child, i was like um. That is not going in my hair. Let me tell you that comb is so slippery and, as you can see in the comb, there was some shed hairs in there. So, even though i primarily finger detangle my hair, this comb as you're gon na see, if you watch all the way through really helped me when my hair was really tangled to not only get that comb really tried. My patience y'all. So, as i was saying, not only was that comb really great for detangling my ends, but especially when there is tangles in the roots which there was so i was able to get the comb all the way through get all that shed hair out, and that was Able to help me to then afterwards i will put my hair in a twist to keep that stretch that i was able to achieve from detangling my hair. So i'm basically going to do this throughout all of my hair. I'M telling you that comb was so slippery. So i was able to basically detangle each piece and put it in a twist, and this was the routine that i did. I sprayed my hair first, i would go through each section. First, finger detangling trying to get through as much tangles as possible and then i would add that yummy pre-boo det pre-poo detangler, which further helped to melt my tangles and then i would continue with the finger detangling and then, as you're gon na see throughout the video. I then finished up with the comb so enjoy, watching the joys of natural hair and the detangling process, which i feel is a very big important part before shampooing. So, like i said this is not a comb that i would use every single wash day, but my hair is really tangled and i've not allowed myself enough time to get through. I will be using this comb. It definitely made me a believer. I was like okay, this is what everybody's talking about when it comes to um being able to not only detangle but also to get those shed hairs out finger. Detangling is amazing and it's my go-to, but it doesn't fully get all of those shed hairs. So i'm going to let you guys enjoy the rest of this detangling session and then i will be right back, oh also. At the end of a twist, i will just do a little quick trim to get any snaggly hairs out. So that's my routine. Each wash day, which is about every two weeks like i said so i try you definitely when you're detangling your hair. This is something that i had to learn. You would think that we would know how to detangle our hair but start from the bottom and then work your way up, especially when you're dealing with coily textured hair, all right y'all enjoy so okay. So you see the amount of tangles here. Let me show y'all this pre-poo in action. Look at how it just melted that piece and i was able to work through that tangle. Am i the only one who loves seeing a slow-mo of natural hair? This comb was the business. If you guys could see it really helped me to detangle my hair, i got a lot of shed hair out, so i also wanted to do to let you guys know what fine natural thin gray natural hair looks like. As you can see, my hair may be amounted to about six twists in total. So compare that to someone like my sister, who would have done that it would have looked so much different. So if you see my, if you see yourself in my hair, know that you're not alone, i think this also proves that the way you style your hair can affect how full or voluminous that it looks. You guys mostly see me in my wash and go because that's the fullest that it looks as you can see when i put it here and twist, it does not have that same voluminous. Look so stick with what works for you now we're moving on to the maison pre-shampoo treatment. This is for those of you who don't want to use a purple, shampoo or purple products. I use this right on damp hair after i rinse out the pre-poo detangler and i apply it to all of my hair and let it sit on for about five to ten minutes, and this helps to remove any buildup to keep my whites white and i can't Say it works the best for my salt and pepper hair, but it definitely helps for my white hair and here after that, i use my nature's little secret cucumber, nourishing shampoo, which is awesome. I try to stay mostly with the scalp area first, so that i don't tangle my hair again, but this shampoo was awesome for a sulfate free, shampoo. It didn't feel waxy, i wouldn't necessarily say it felt moisturizing. It definitely felt like it cleansed my hair, without being too drying to it, and this is my conditioner that i use jim and henry it's uh has 10 ingredients. It'S awesome. I love the fact that it's white, it's a thick creamy conditioner and i basically use that to detangle my hair further detangle it a little bit before i rinse it out. Sometimes, when i put the conditioner in my hair, you don't really feel it until after it sat in for a little bit under the shower cap, then you'll really feel the detangling efforts. So i put my shower cap on and i leave up about 15 to 20 minutes and then afterwards here is my hair with no product nice and wet my favorite kinky curly, not today leave-in conditioner. This is the only thing that i left in my hair. This is one of my favorite conditioners, as you could see. Even when i apply it, you see how lengthy my hair is. It takes up all of that water and it adds some volume to my hair a little bit. So it's one of my favorite leave-in conditioners, and i pretty much just left that in my hair for a couple of days, just to show you guys how, when you use less product that can help find natural hair to be able to look a little bit fuller. When i put gel it does weigh my hair, but it gives me a lot of definition, so you kind of have to choose between what you want the volume or the definition. So, for about four days, i decided to show you guys what my hair looks like with just kinky curly, not today, leaving in it did still give good definition, though right not bad, so enjoy the slideshow, and i will see you guys on the next video thanks.
