Happy 2018 hello Happy New Year, I decided to ring in 2018 with a bang, get it okay, don't be confused. I know I'm in my bathroom. It is not 2016. I am here for a reason, but before we talk about all that, let's talk about the hair. There is a huge trend for 2018 undeniable, and that is a bob with bangs everywhere I looked from Instagram to all of the runways. This was everywhere and so wanting to be cutting-edge, I decided to go for it and my pixie had grown out long enough to be able to do it. But let me show you some of the images that are out there. Bangs of all different shapes sizes, the biggest trend this season happens to be French girl chic, which is the bang with the chin length bob, but bangs with longer bobs are very popular. The shag is back shaggy bangs, with longer hair, wavy, er hair a little bit more natural, a little bit less finished and fixed, but this is everywhere. So if you're looking to be on the cusp of what's in and what's happening out there in the hair world, this is it you can have bangs for all different types of face shapes if you are a rounder face, it's best to do kind of a Halfmoon Type, bang, if you have a thinner face, you can do more of a straight across bang. The key is, is you want a good amount of hair in there not little thin whispies, but the bangs got to make a statement, or else don't do it. If you feel like you can't handle it or the grow out face, might make you just a little bit wacky crazy, okay! So that's an update on the hair! Why why? Why is she in the bathroom? Well, this video, aside from a hair trend, is all about new year's resolutions, and I don't like to put my toes I like to step in I like to have bold resolutions, not little ones, not here. Not there, I'm gon na put it out there. I'M gon na make it big, and I am of the belief that you have to speak things into existence so by me articulating what it is that I'm going to work on this year. It'S going to make it happen. So, first and foremost, we are in my bathroom because I'm gon na lose some weight, not that I put on that much but look! Here'S the deal. The holidays are just that the holidays. I eat very good food, I'm healthy. I make good selections, but the problem is, is that I ate what I normally ate and then I I ate other things like cheese, bread, pate, candy, cookies, cakes and all of that on top of my wonderful, healthy food, and so I completely sabotage myself and there You have it anyway, I'm gon na lose seven pounds. Why not? Five? Because everybody says they have five pounds to lose and I don't want to be like everybody, so I'm going to start with my benchmark, you didn't think I was really going there. Did you, and and from there I'm going to do it? How you ask well I'm going to put my meal plan in the description box. It'S it's a very simple diet. Essentially, it is lots and lots of vegetables a lot of lean protein healthy fat. I am completely staying away from the whites: no sugar, no, flour, no dairy, no alcohol, no pasta, no rice, no fun, okay, but but I can learn to live without that, and I've actually done this two times before with incredible results. So I know this works. I do work out quite a bit during the week, so I feel this combined with my workouts will get me exactly where I want to be and how I want to feel in exactly a month. So that is resolution number one resolution number two would be what's going on right behind me here in my closet. Okay, this closet gives me a rash. It is 10 pounds of potatoes in a five-pound sack. I either I have too much for this space. The space is just not designed to accommodate what it is that I have. This is am I in denial that I need to clean purge and get rid of okay. So here's the deal for Christmas, my husband and I got each other as a gift. His and hers closets, not bad right, so we're in the middle of finalizing which company we're gon na go with and what design we want and all of that anyway. This will be completed, probably by springtime, which is perfect timing for a spring clean-out. So I'm going to get rid of probably half the stuff you see in here. My rule of thumb is if it hasn't been on my body in six months. It'S not gon na get worn and it's gon na go so I'm gon na give it away and then I'm going to incorporate my new design, I'm gon na plan and organize, and then that will be a video that you'll see in the springtime. So that is one big resolution. I cannot wait to get there, I'm already starting to clean things out, but clearly I've got a long way to go. The next thing is my home office. So let me just give you a little tour all in all, not too bad. My shelves are pretty well organized. Yes, I have a lot of books in here. I could probably thin that out and create more space. My desktop needs a cleaning for sure, but what's really killing me is what's going on behind these closet doors. Stuff was just stuck in there and I just I haven't gotten to it. It hasn't been a priority. It'S it's, I figure. If the doors are closed, I need not know about it, but really I know what's going on back there and it's irritating me, so that's going to be another resolution, I'm going to tackle these closets and I'm going to clean out my office I'm going to organize. I will get bins, I will put things I will. I have a file system, at least I got that going on, but there are other things that I can and should do, and so that's going to be another video as well is cleaning out this closet. The next thing on my list is in this coincides with my healthy eating plan. I have been really hit and miss with my vitamins. You know, I know what to take. I try to take them, but unless I put them in this, you know cute little container and write myself, sticky notes everywhere. Take your vitamins, take your vitamins, they won't be consumed. So I'm on a mission to be consistent and regular with my nutritional supplements, because I'm a firm believer in the benefits and the health properties, and so that's it I'm on it, I'm on it, I'm on it. So those are my big resolutions, they're kind of big right, I'm tackling some big, bold stuff, because that's what it is that I talk about on this channel not doing little things not being secretive about it, because you know what then you're, giving yourself a hall pass To just not do it right so in this vein, I'm going to ask you to write down and below in the comment section put down what your resolutions or resolution might be. I feel, if you put it out there in the earth in space, it's out there and it's going to hold you more accountable and you'll stick to it. So share with me what it is that you are striving for this year and maybe it's a new haircut trying trying bangs something different. The way I see it. This now saves money for Botox, because it's Bangkok's, I'm saving you money. Okay, anyway, there it is. I'Ve put it all out there. I am excited about 2018. I love the thought of a new year to me. It'S it's like the metaphorical chalkboard, where we get to just wipe it clean and start anew and and tackle some things that are important to us. You sure we can do things anytime of the Year any time we want, but there's just something really fun and great about doing it at the start of the year, having hopes and dreams and aspirations and to really kind of get out of the gate running. So that's what we're gon na do we're gon na run. You know I can't wait to read what it is that you're gon na say I'm looking forward to seeing your resolutions. Maybe you provide something that I haven't thought of, and I can add that to my resolution list, because I'm a builder so anyway, with this great start to 2018, go out be bold because you will be blessed and I'll see you in a week. Good luck!

So Southern Custom Equestrian Products: My resolution this year is to invest in my marriage.  My husband and I have been separated for 8 years and over the holidays you can say a Christmas miracle has happened to our family:)

Hannah Wiggins: I was so excited to see you in your bathroom! That was my favorite filming spot. I like your new setup and I know it’s more convenient for you, and lets face it, I’d watch you if you had a dumpster in the background. . But your bathroom is so cozy and homey and it’s just a more intimate setup like we’ve been invited to your home or something. Love it! Your hair looks amazing as always and I’m liking your resolutions. You’ve kinda inspired me! I hope you have a wonderful 2018 and I’m looking forward to videos this year.

Elle Mathews: I absolutely love you. You are so positive and truly an inspiration. Plus, you give great fashion and beauty advice. I’m getting bangs next week!

Fitmom Rocks: I am a breast cancer survivor. I had a double mascetomy and the reconstruction was a nightmare! So I'm ready to find a revision dr and hopefully get my body back. I want to workout again and all that has been in hold because of this reconstruction issue. Praying for wisdom and the right dr that says yes I can fix you. 2018 is the year I get my toned body back!

Hannah Luman: Love the bangs - very young and fun! Can’t wait to see these resolutions come to fruition — we know you’ll do it!

Michelle Hudson: Dominique, I am with you sista. The closet, the office and I must add the make up drawer will be organized. Loosing the weight, getting wise about nutrition, exercising 4 times a week and getting 7 hours of sleep. These are must, it’s time for me to value me and I’m moving to the top of my to do list. Last but not least, learn how to do something new. Some thoughts, floral arrangement class, Pilates class, or learn how to swim. I’m 54 years old, and I’ve never been able to grasp this skill. Let all be bold and blessed together:) Love , Love, Love the hair.

mickyunit: Happy New Year, everyone!! Love the new intro! New changes, YES! Thanks to your reminder, I started going to the chiropractor in December and am feeling much better! 1) Layering my mid-back length hair for more volume and texture. 2) Enlarging the master shower. 3) Re establishing my sparse front lawn (darn oaks are blocking the sunlight!!) 4) Losing 17 lbs, getting fit 5) Eating healthier and supplementing regularly! Dominique, you can wear any hairstyle! You have a wonderful knack of being able to style just about anything! Flowers, clothes, jewelry, makeup, life!! You are just a never ending inspiration!! Looking forward to your closet reveal! B⁴!!!! Love and huge hugs from Dallas!

Sue C: Hey Dominique! Love the bangs on you! I have them too! Did my closets a yr ago after we moved into our new home. So organized now and it's everything! My goal for 2018 is to shedd a few lbs too. Started keto and I am gluten free for 4 yrs! Staying in the moment and enjoying each day is probably my biggest goal! Life goes bye so fast and I want to suck it all in! Must go on the treadmill more because walking and moving is so good for the body! Thanks for a great video!

keylimekisses: ....And I thought you could not look any more beautiful! That hairstyle is so fitting on you it frames your face perfectly. 2018 is a new a new milestone for me I just had a big birthday (in numbers) and I think what is most important to me this year is being a little more easy on myself and mentally giving up negative thoughts that have been one of the evils I have had to deal with all my life, every time I think of a negative thought I will flood my mind with as many positive words as I can think of and say them over and over again until I feel I have cleared the thought it usually only takes a few moments but I feel so much better when my vibes are high and my thoughts are happy.

Donna Kemper: Happy 2018!! I’m so happy I decided to cut my hair this fall. I accidentally stumbled upon you and your videos while looking for shorter cuts for “mature” (not old) women! I adore all your messages and insight! Today is Day 1 of the Whole 30 plan!! Need to eliminate my sugar and carb cravings and get rid of the 10 extra pounds I’ve put on in the last six months!

jessicagriffis17: Love the bangs!! I’m going to eat healthy and become Leto as well. Started giving it a go last year and fell off at the holidays. Organize and declutter! Love you to pieces, Jessie

V: Happy New Year to you! I’ve already started and it’s crazy how we are on the same page. I wanted to chop my hair which I’ve done on my own. Organize my pantry and hold fast to eating healthy and working out!!!!thanks!!! I love your videos ❤️

Jackie Macie: Your hair is off the chart Dominique!!! Fabulous!!! I wear bangs and am constantly complimented. Happy 2018!!! Love your videos in your bathroom. GO BIG OR GO HOME!

64Biina: Happy New Year Dominique! Ok, here it goes..........after much thought I have decided to finally attempt (at the age of 53) to get my Master's Degree of Business! Yikes, I've said it!! It's somewhat daunting and I'm a bit nervous but I am going to try. In Australia, university starts back in March after the summer break. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me!

Daphne Brocker: Love the hair! I’m truly inspired to try it. I’ve been growing my hair out and I’m ready for a more defined style. That’s my first goal. I am also in the middle of cleaning out my closet and am determined to minimize purchases. My health is too priority. I’ve had huge issues this year and losing a few pounds, consistent exercise, and taking my vitamins will help. Your video solidified my resolutions so thanks for the challenge to put them out there! Daphne B.

Kim Reyna: Happy New Year, Dominique! Love the idea of putting those resolutions out there for all to see. My main resolution is to get back in the gym. I was so faithful about going, but lost my Dad to cancer in November. I stopped caring about fitness & could hardly leave my house. Everything was upside down in my world. I’m committed to getting back to my exercise and things are improving, especially my state of mind. Secondly, great minds must think alike because I am on a mission to clean out & organize my closet. What a chore! However, it does feel good to be able to walk in mine again without tripping over junk! Thank you for being such an inspiration! I adore you!

Bernardette Robinson: Happy New Year! I love, love, love this clip. I am impressed by your resolutions because, whilst they are challenging, they are most definitely achievable. You go girl. My resolution has been to reinvent my closet too and I have just completed it. Painful at times but wow I feel great about it now. I also resolve to take better care of my self so that I can take care of my family better too. And lastly, I LOVE you in your bathroom again. Please consider using it again as I feel it has better lighting and feels more authentic. But I understand also that it is your private space. Well good luck and I’ll be praying for you and your promises to be fulfilled. Go Dominique!!!

Cindy Diane: Happy 2018 and love the bangs! My goal is to deep clean my second floor. Organize, purge and clean! I got a good start last weekend, will continue on this weekend.

happygalval: Oh yeah - the bangs look fabulous! I have been dying to do a bang for the past few months but all my friends screamed "Noooo!". But if my style guru Dominique is getting them then I am finally doing this for ME! Love you, Dominique! <3

Lilyana Lunny: Loving the new hair! Thank you so much for putting all that information in the description box! Can’t wait to shop for a clean year

Maryfran Ruggiero: I love every hair style you ever have had!!!! My hair is just growing in from chemo along with my eyelashes and eyebrows. Going through bi lateral breast reconstruction only have 2 more surgeries to go out of the last 8 in the last year. I love how upbeat you are and keeping me in the know of what is happening with the hair styles and makeup!!!!! Happy New Year and best wishes !!!!

Linda Rindels: LOVE your hair! What a great look on you! I am in a major decluttering phase and it feels so good to get things cleaned out and passed on to someone else who can use what I no longer need or use.

arthistprof6: Hi Dominique! I lost 100 lbs last year, and one of my resolutions is to maintain that weight loss! I'm also going to make time to do yoga as often as I can. Thanks for the great video!

Maria H: Yes, I DID think you were going to go there and my jaw fell open...and then I laughed when you didn’t. Lol Good luck with your resolutions, Dominique! Here are some of mine: 1. Get rid of a few inches of menopause from around my middle (not lose cuz I might find them again) 2. Organize my sewing and knitting rooms 3. Finish sewing my wardrobe 4. Learn to motivate myself 5. Eat regular since I’d rather be doing something other than eating

Cathy Over 50 -Everyday Petite Fashion & Makeup: Happy New Year Dominique! Love your hair. My resolution is to make myself a priority in my life. I’m turning 50 this year, I can’t believe it! I love all of your videos, you are very inspirational. xoxo Cathy

Audrey Walker: Love the hall pass comment & bang-tox! Great resolutions, organizing the holiday decor & basement is on my list for sure!

Desert Dweller: You are SO inspirational! I'm so glad that you shared your resolutions and your positive, get it done attitude! I'm going to think about mine and write them in my new journal I got for Christmas. A dear friend of mine met me for coffee this evening and shared that she is pre-diabetic and we both are going to be accountability buddies now. So my resolution will be about healthy eating, moving more, and yes, organizing!

Liz Allen: What a great video!! I resolve to eliminate mindless screentime in the evening, to prioritize BALANCE in my work + personal life, and oh yeah--finally losing the last 10 pounds! Keep the fabulous videos coming, Dominique!!! ❤️

Perfectly You Beauty: I’m loving the new haircut... tres chic! I love that you shared your goals and resolutions with us. My goals (because I don’t like resolutions) are to remove toxic relationships from my life. I have a few individuals who are no longer bringing positivity into my life and I feel like it’s blocking me from moving forward. Thanks for the motivation!

Marty Davis: Love this video and the motivation behind it! I too, like it big...just hit the road running towards all those goals! Will continue on with Weight Watchers Online because I like having to be accountable for the choices I make when it comes to food. Have started the closet purge and made remarkable progress thanks to snow here on the coast of South Carolina! I also plan to limited my social media time and make more time for fitness, reading, etc. I am looking at this new year as a 365 page book and I want to write a good one!

Orsi Katona: Love your energy Dominique! You look absolutely gorgeous with the bang ! I'm turning 35 this year, you are my absolute role model! My biggest resolution for this year is to DECLUTTER, spend less, spare more, LIVE more! So excited for 2018 and for all your videos xxx

Peace, Joy and Eggcake: Your energy is so inspiring! I always look forward to watching your videos. Thank you so much for them!!! My 2018 resolutions are: 1. To look at my fear of loss and resolve whatever is behind it, 2. To run a half-marathon in the autumn of 2018, 3. To enjoy and appreciate the process of my three major projects of this year (being a mentor and new module leader at University, writing and directing a musical, having a permanent placement as a screenwriter and working with not only massively talented, but also kind hearted people) 4. Preparing for a graceful transition into my forties at the beginning of 2019.

angelica: Great stuff in the description box! Love the hair! that grow out stage will be even more awesome. My resolution is at least 30mins a day studying the bible.

Trine Liin: Oh I really love that you are back in your bath room! You look so cute with bangs! Regarding resolutions. I just wanna remember What I have and be thankful of that ❤️ Happy New Year to you and your family Thank you so much for putting yourself "out there". You truly are wonderful in every way. Love from Denmark

Carla Cash Out Loud: Oh, sweet Dominique. You inspire us SO much with every one of your posts. In fact, in our most recent video, we were asked to list our YouTube heroes, and we named you. Loving the hair. Loving the trends you listed. Bang lovers unite! Weight loss and getting fit on our resolution lists, as well - and we have spoken them into existence. And perhaps topping the list: less drama, more joy - which you bring us! - xx, Cindy & Carla from 2 Real Chicks Channel

Daphne's Beauty: Happy New year Dominique! You look sensational! I love your new hair-do. You have inspired and motivated me, as always. I'm with you on the weight loss front, except I have to loose more! I want to be more organised this year too and I want to try some new things (Not sure what yet!) Have a blessed week. Hugs, xoxo Daphne.

Audj943: LOVE the bangs, Dominique!! I’d say we are pretty similar in our 2018 goals.....definitely at the top of my list, is staying true to my soul and listening to my body! Fueling my body with the healthiest foods; fueling my soul with what speaks to me and grounds me, and decluttering both certain spaces in my home, and the clutter in my mind that does nothing for me :) Focusing on my family; my husband, my teenagers and 20-something children...and absolutely myself!!! I’m 48 this year, and by the time I turn 50, my goal is to be the best version of me that I’ve ever been. Thank you for the video! I look forward to watching; we mature women learn so much from each other! Blessings in 2018 to you Dominique!

Arthur Asos: Love the new pics of your intro! First: loving myself and treating me to healthy food, gym workouts, flattering hair and makeup, good quality colorful clothes. Second: falling in love with someone who actually cares. Third: getting involved in a charity. Fourth: watching your videos to keep my motivation and optimism high. Fifth: be bold and blessed. Lots of love from Italy. Ciao cara Dominique, torna presto in Italia. Giovanna

Nan: Your new haircut is fantastic, Dominique!! I think it's my favorite one on you yet. And....the color is stunning. Happy New Year to you & your family!! ⭕️❌❤️

Barbara Paxton: Way to go Dominique! Looks great and feels great! Just tackled and wrestled my office as well. The things I found and realized I have two of everything! The key will be to put it back in it's place since we made a place for it! Good Luck! Loving your videos!

Valerie V.: Thank you Dominique! Love your hair. My goal this year is to get my weight under control & get my Will & Estate plan in order. And plan a real vacation!

Carla Miller: 1. Getting my bangs back! So glad to hear that bangs are back! 2. Giving it my all with my new career once I complete my degree. 3. To loose 7 lbs. a month until I return to my weight of five years ago. 4. Make some of my crafty and entrepreneur ideas come true. 5. This one's is for my husband, finally clean out my side of the garage and get rid of most of it. Thank you so much for all being so honest and inspiring!

Mary Szitkar: Love the cut. My first resolution is to finish the flooring in my home. Second get a new fence installed in my back yard. Loose weight, not sure how much, just until I feel good about myself. Love all the sharing you do Dominique...

FiftyPlusBeauty: Hi Dominique. I just purged my closet and used the KonMari method. If it doesn’t bring you joy, it goes. And for me, if it makes me look fat, there’s no joy there! I will be posting a video about that process soon. Other resolutions? Treadmill 5 days a week 25 minutes, vitamins daily too. Most important, replace negative thoughts with positive!!!

Sophia Knightly: Happy New Year, Dominique! I enjoyed watching your video and hearing your resolutions. My weight loss goal for 2018 is 7 lbs too (that's how much weight I've gained in the past 10 years.) My eating habits are similar to yours, but I eat whole grains because I need them for energy. In the past two weeks, I've lost 5 lbs by eliminating sugar, more mindful eating, exercising, and intermittent fasting from 8 pm to 8 am. Stay beautiful, healthy and inspirational! xo, Sophia

Roxanne Mestre: Thank you for the inspiration Dominique! Happy New Year to you! My resolution is to make sure I do not take on too much at work. I live a blessed life and the stability of a good job. BUT, I have been at my job for 28 years and I tend to be the matriarch and want to fix things. I have developed stress related autoimmune issues and the time has come for me to retire at the end of 2018 and move on to my next glorious chapter. I gave my boss a year and a half notice and she has not made any plans to reassign my work so that I can use transfer knowledge. We have huge projects and implementations coming up and I seemed to be dragged into it all. I have to LET GO and that is my mantra for the new year!

Alina Wood: Happy New Year, Dominique! I always enjoy your videos, so thank you for making them! I have a couple resolutions. One is to continue losing weight with THM: I'm down 30 lbs and need another 70 to go which seems at times like a mountain but I know I'll get there eventually with God's help. And the second is organize our living space: we just got a house and are renovating, so, in a sense, I have a clean slate and have so much space, but it needs some major TLC. I purged my closet (and, really, my entire set of belongings) last year after reading Marie Kondo's 2 books on her method and it's been truly one of the most liberating experiences in my life! So, now I'm looking to organize this new freedom in a new space :)

Sugar Cookies: Dominique, thank you for being my inspiration! It was a blessing to find your channel

Neelofer Seward: I have MS and my girl is to stay positive and fight the disease and stay active, eat healthy which I do anyway. I just turned 65 and it was parties after parties till New year's. Feel blessed. Love watching your videos.

Karen Rittenhouse: I'm with ya girl. I recently did my walk in closet and dresser (konmari). I feel like a new woman! By the way, if you haven't checked out konmari, do it! Now, thanks to this video, I'm committing to organizing our home office. I'd really like to even get rid of the old desk/bookcase combo that people used to need but no longer do now that we all use laptops. I'm gonna do it! Thanks for the encouragement. :)

ROSIE WAITE-FENN: Hi Dominique, my New Year’s Resolution is to finally tackle my health anxiety that always strikes at this time of year! I don’t like winter and I think that’s why it hits me so hard! It’s debilitating and I don’t want it to take over any more xx

Jacqueline Leib: Love the new intro. You have inspired me to set a few more goals. I am going to sit for the CAP exam and now I am adding the goal of reading a book a month. Thanks for the video.

Laura Lachelt: Bang-tox! What a concept. Love it Dominique! Thank you for this inspiring video. I can relate to everything and am looking forward to your progress updates on the organization.

Emily Mosley: Much like you, I’m going back on that same diet after a holiday splurge! Whole 30/paleo/bone broth combo type of thing. On New Year’s Eve, My husband toasted to us by saying “let’s have a little fun”. I rectified that sentiment by suggesting we have “a LOT of fun”. So we’re in the process of planning a Mediterranean cruise for our 30th anniversary! You look fabulous and I am grateful for your dedication to your fans.

Summer New: Love the video and love what you do for strong, working women! My goals are better management of resources (time, money, and stuff!) . God bless you and your family this year!

Never Idle Life: I love this. I started konmari purging last year so I’m committed to completing that in my life. I also have about ten lbs to lose and I’ve been a steady exerciser for 25+ years. So, my resolution is to change up my routine to help with my weight loss and alleviate boredom with my current routine. May seem pretty standard, but I’m with you...put them out there and get them done!

Becky Reese: Love this! Resolution: Stop wasteful spending so that my husband and I can purchase a home together in 2018!!!

joann hennessy: Love your channel!! Resolutions: 1 to cook a new recipe each week with my husband; 2 to use the Five Minute Journal daily; 3 to exercise and feel fit; would love to see more recipes for getting fit

Susanne Hobbs: I would like to take proper vitamin supplements in 2018.  I would love for you to share what you take.  Thanks for the great videos!  Loving the short hair/bang trend!

Karon Crickmore: Love being back in the bathroom again! 2018 - remove more process foods, yoga at least 3 days per week, 50,000 steps per week, ride bike again starting in Spring, and finish decluttering. Happy New Year!!

Marilyn Santiago: Dominque, thank you soooo much for this video! You just gave me a boost of energy to organize my messy closet! And I also need to follow through with my supplements! Love your hair you look amazing! I love you you inspire me so very much. God bless you!

teck1a: Dominique, Thank you for you open heart, real talk, and relevant content. You truly do inspire me, and I always look forward to you videos .I am 62 years old and after 40 years I will be picking up the guitar again. My goal is 15 min. a day. Thank you again for the inspiration, you keep me thinking young!

Adele Olsen: I loved this video! So much fun and energy! Your haircut is absolutely gorgeous! You’ve inspired me to get mine cut too! And I much prefer when you film from your bathroom. It feels a lot less formal. I’m so looking forward to your spring cleaning. I’ve been in this process in my whole house for a while now and it’s amazing the difference it makes to you psychologically. More peaceful somehow! Bless you Dominique. You are a beautiful person and a delight to watch!

Tanya DeLano: My plan for 2018 is to make time to write and hopefully be brave enough to submit a manuscript to a literary agent. Writing is like breathing for me. It is what makes me feel happy and whole. I've put everyone else ahead of me and put myself last. This year I'm going to make me a priority. I'm going to start taking better care of my health and eat better.

Tamara Rook: Hi Dominique, thank you for inspiring us and sharing your life with us. My goal in 2018 is to stay positive all year long. I have a hectic job, I travel like a maniac for work, I take care of my family and it's easy for me to get stressed, frustrated and overwhelmed and sometimes I take it out on my sweet family. I have so much to be thankful for and I have decided to focus on my blessings. xx

Susy G: Love your resolutions and motivation! I also need to start eating healthy again, I lost 13 pounds last year by avoiding whites in my diet and like you the holidays came soon enough, but no more! No more sweets, no more flours, no more dairy.....no more procrastinating! Happy 2018! <3

Myrna Thiessen: Love your hair!! You are stunning! For the record, I don’t make resolutions. I’ve just never got into doing that. I embrace each year with excitement and anticipation. I approach each year with wanting to better myself and make a difference in the world.☺️

Beverly Campbell: Beautiful new hair style - love the bangs. Congrats on doing the Whole30 - I’ve done it every April for the past two years with fabulous results.

Cindy Pike: I love your channel! I wasn't going to do resolutions this year but you inspired me to have two. Clean out my closet and eat better and get back into my workouts! Just become healthier in general.

Lisa: First I would like to compliment you on your positive messages. I enjoy watching your videos for the tips and techniques but also the uplifting approach you take! 2017 had many ups and downs for me; my mother passing away suddenly, dealing that loss and with her estate while trying to work a less than satisfying job, meeting a great man who I enjoyed being with and having a fun summer but only to have him end the relationship due to his hidden depression issues and gaining weight resulting in painful plantar fasciitis which makes moving difficult. While things could be better I also realize that I have much to be grateful for in my life. So 2018 is my year to keep growing, be grateful and focus on what's good so that I can deal with the rest the best I can. I'm thinking of my long term goals as a lighthouse in the distance that helps me set my course.

lgamble: Happy New Year Dominique! I started practicing intuitive eating a few weeks ago so my goal is to continue with that. I have also begun a serious Al-anon program and working with a sponsor because of a dear, close family member struggling with addiction. In that vein, I have also been looking at my own alcohol use and have decided no wine during the week! Mostly, I've added these to create more serenity in my life. Can't go wrong there right?! OH! And I almost forgot! Every morning reading from 'Living a Life of Awareness' by Don Miguel Ruiz Jr. and practicing the meditation for each day :o)

Dawn C: Happy New Year Dominique!!! Love the new look. My resolution for 2018 is to sell my home and pay off all my debt and live where I could breathe a little easier. Happy New Year :-)

Nana Donna: Hi Dominique, Happy New Year! I have decided that my goals are going to be to get healthier, lose weight, start reading again and to stop using profanity. Its classless and there are much better ways i can communicate! I learn so much from you! Thank you for taking the time to care and share your experience, wisdom and class!

Caged Rock Designs: Happy New Year to you and as always a great video!! You touched a subject in the last QandA about kids leaving home and my last one just left. It’s been gut wrenching for me as I work at home, so quiet is so reflective on what is gone! My resolution this year is to try to do what you suggested and that is a turn in my road not a cliff ha ha. I love photography so I’m taking that and traveling, (I’m lucky my business can follow). I am thankful for your channel, you are inspiring and you bring out great women with great questions!!

SonomaZin: Happy New Year! I love your new hair cut! Your list of things to tackle in 2018 are an inspiration. I, too, plan to purge my closets of their excess. In fact, started yesterday with several large bags of clothes/shoes that went to the local American Cancer Society Discovery Shop. It's a great feeling to see them benefit from perfectly good items, that I just don't wear; while I benefit in reducing my overly-stuffed closets...WIN-WIN! As of January 1st, I have started to take my vitamins again and am determined to make it a HABIT! :)

zoeeve17: Love it! Your bangs are fab! My resolutions include getting to a healthy weight and lifestyle, traveling more, meal planning/cooking, devoting more time to spiritual growth and finding a local church. Happy New Year! Can’t wait to see your new Spring closet!

Laura H: Hi Dominique! Thank you for your videos! I just recently purged my closet and I've been losing weight since November so I decided to take a different tack for resolutions. I want to read a book a month. I used to be such a reader but life is just too busy these days! Also I want to start a journal this year too. Fingers crossed I'm going for it! I've got a book started "Little Fires Everywhere" and I started writing but I need to get a nice journal to motivate me . Good luck with yours!

Kasia Zawartko: Happy New Year, Darling! Wishing you an amazing year full of adventures, great news topics and happiness :) I only made one resolution to make this year a 'me' year where I finally start taking better care of myself - to feel better, look better and embrace gratitude and have a more peaceful and calm mindset because last year was very stressfull on me, unfortunately. Even my husband asked me to bring back my sparkly, witty, energetic persona back to life and that's what I will try to do :)

Janice Willett: Love the bangs, hair looks great as always. My New Years resolution is to get back in shape, start back exercising, and eat the right foods and as you take my vitamins. Look forward to your next video. Happy New Years

66joydipi: Happy New Year to All, Girls! Resolutions for 2018 : Meditation and Appreciation! After years and years of unceasing goals achieving I found my self in 2016 with an autoimmune disease, manifesting the discordance between my body and my mind. Having slowly realize this sublime notion about balance and inner harmony, for 2018 I will take a step back, take a break and enjoy everything I have accomplished so far and above all my family, which is the most relevant part of my life. In my 50ties, that's not all that little!! Love your hair full of liveliness and vitality,! Love your new video-introduction, abounding affection and caring feelings! Thanks for the diet list tips, extremely useful whenever we need a "detoxification"!!!

Kathy Petron: Love, love, love the bangs! I resolve to make my bed every single day. I resolve to wake up 45 minutes earlier to truly enjoy my cup of coffee, the morning mist, and nature before jumping in the shower. I resolve to journal to my niece and nephew. (This is something I will give them when they are grown.) I resolve to lose 10 pounds before Spring Break Thank you, Dominique

S.: Dear Dominique, you always crack me up with your humor. Well done for tackling the wardrobe space. I will say though that you look charming with the new hairdo, but to me it ages you. Happy 2018 and may all your resolutions come to fruition

smile soul: Happy New Year! I love your energy! Here are my goals/resolutions/plans for 2018: Get master's degree, finish my thesis, improve my healthy diet, get into a habit of regular sleep, read enough books to cross 700 on my "read" list (i have read 618 so far), get my first full time job in HR, start my postgraduate studies, become fluent in English and up my game in Spanish (if there's time, start learning Portuguese or Turkish), meditate and journal everyday, start writing articles about my purpose on Medium and get first 1000 subscribers, travel to few places I always wanted to, swim and bike few times a week, walk more & really get to know my city.

Sharon Rowe: Happy New Year. Loving your new hair cut and color. My new years resolutions for 2018 are 1: Finish my degree 2: Set a better schedule for my son and myself 3: stop over working myself 4: be more active 5: read my daily devotional amd Bible like I should 5: read more in general, less t.v. 6: be in the moment and enjoy it 7: worry less 8: Enjoy 2018

Eileen DePaolo: Hello Dominique. I have many resolutions. But, first I would like to say thank you. After 50 plus years I now have a perfect blowout and side swept bangs. I showed my coworkers your video and they said "she has you hair, she look just like you!' Well not quite, but, I thanked them for the complement. We also have a blended family in common, wow. I also am on 5 show a day, 5 days a week, I am a teacher and I always say I do 5 shows a day. My most important goal is to lose weight, So I am on a 21 day "cleanse". No white stuff, gluten and alcohol. ( Also ironic as I did not know this was you eating plan.) More regular workouts. What I hope to gain is a positive sense of self. I still feel like an ugly dumpling. So I hope that the small changes will help me. There are some other parallels but to keep my post short, I'll just say thanks again my doppelganger in Texas. Love, peace, health and blessings... Eileen

Priscilla Taylor: Love your new do!!! My goal for 2018 is positive in - positive out! My husband and I have agreed to hold one another accountable by giving one another a hug, a kiss or a loving touch when there is negative coming out of our mouths.

Nancy Coates: Happy New Year! I’m starting my year with my dream trip to Paris with my husband. It is certainly a good way to start a year, and fulfill a dream. Now that I see that bangs are in, I may get them for my trip. I have never made New Year Resolutions....I hate them. I feel life should be a constant planning of what is the next thing toward improvements, not waiting to resolve to do them once a year. I do understand why people make NY resolutions I just don’t. Good luck with your projects.

Ashley Pistoresi: Happy 2018! My husband & I started off the new year by decluttering & renovating my fathet-in-laws home. My husband has been wanting to improve his parents home for some time now, his mother had great plans for their home 10 years ago & didn't have the opportunity to do so since she passed from cancer. So now, my husband has great plans to make it happen!

Syls_ewenique_knits: I just love your positive spirit!  I lost my Mom and my 15 Y/O cat in 2017 so I'm ready for a better year and I'm ready to be bold in my resolutions.  I'm going to lose 20 pounds and I'm going to get another professional certification.  Thank you for being so wonderful and providing inspiration.  Love you bunches!!

Eileen Flynn: Happy New Year! My resolutions are to hold myself to a higher standard in several ways, many of which were inspired by your "Keep it classy, girlfriend" video. The other is to restore my health by getting my weight back to where it should be. Too much indulgence in 2017 brought me 40 additional pounds. Good luck with your resolutions!

Rachel Tull: Love the hair! My 2018 goals are to get back to my optimum weight, create time in my day for me so I can de stress and exercise, journal on a regular basis to reflect on everything I’m thankful for and to focus more on the positive.

Wendy: Happy New Year, Dominique! I love that lipstick, please tell me what it is :). I've made a few goals for the year. One is to get my health and fitness back on track. Another was to purge my office/boudoir. And third, just for fun, at 42 I am going to learn to do the splits this year! Why not? It will be fun! Have a blessed new year and see you next week!

Lydia Boswell: Lovely! Thanks so much for being such a great motivator! I will focus on losing at least 20 pounds by this time next year! Happy New Year!

Angela Collins: I LOVE the haircut! I have never seen someone look so versatile with short hair! hum...tempting! My goal first (of many) this year is to design a personalized bedtime and morning routine. I have allowed my health to deteriorate, gained weight, changed jobs, and I feel horrible!!! I used to meditate, work out before work, sleep more, and I felt great! I am starting over and this is the year! Thank you so much for all of your wisdom, support, knowledge, humor, style, and compassion! I learn so much from you and admire you greatly. Keep um coming Miss Dominique!!!

Raena Lynn: Happy New Year Doninique! The majority of my resolutions GOALS are continuing my wellness path. I consider myself a fitness fanatic so I will build on that. 1) spin classes 2) arrange a global hike with a group 3) Go DRY for the month of January and see how I feel my skin looks etc. 4) I’m with you on consistency taking vitamins 5) de clutter redo home office. There you go. Good Luck to us all ‍♂️‍♀️

Cristina Magurean: Wonderful video Dominique and a very Happy New Year to you and your family! Lisa Lou: I love your hairstyle! So on trend, it really suits you.  A very Happy New Year to you & your family from London! Keep on doing what you are doing, I love your energy & passion! I am going to do more voluntary work which I am excited about & keep on booking lots of adventures for 2018! x

Beauty By Anne-Marie: I love your bangs! You look great! I just grew mine longer but now kind of want to cut them again :) I'm with you and want to go through stuff and organize...plus I also want to eat a little healthier and workout a bit more. Always love your videos Dominique! xoxo
