Is your gray hair looking a little brassy and dull? Try NEW Clairol Professional Creme color in 10V!

Hi, I'm Paul Chatel from Clairol Professional, I'm here with Cheryl today and we're gon na talk to about our gray hair hi Cheryl hi. I'Ve noticed you've grown your hair out um, so it's fully gray. How is that for you? I love it. You notice. They need challenges or differences now that it's fully gray actually yeah. I love the gray, but I get these yellow on the ends. That'S pretty common if you notice that it grows in much shinier when you get to the top, but as it gets through here, the environmental factors cause the hair to go a little bit yellowy or dull. Looking so what I can do is I can show you today: we've got a new product that we can put through your hair to help shine up that gray, hair I'm gon na take you step-by-step, show you how to apply it, and then you can see how Beautiful your gray hair can be great perfect, let's get going. What you need is a professional 10v, two bottles of ten volume developer, a mixing bowl, the tint brush a vented brush and it's great to have a whisk. A whisk is really nice to get a nice smooth blend when you're mixing that through and a couple of hair clips - and don't forget your gloves. So the first thing you want to do is put on protective clothing. So sometimes that could be an old t-shirt or something that you know, that's comfortable, that you don't mind getting dirty. We have a nice gown for Cheryl today, but let's take a look at her hair close-up to make sure we can see what the dullness looks like there is environmental damage. Here you can see that it's a bit shinier at the top and as it gets through the bottom down here it gets a bit more dull. So that's the part. We'Re gon na take care of starting with our tint. We'Re gon na use a whole tube. Two bottles of ten volume and taking the whisk and blending it so we're going to be applying our toner to the area that is most yellow first, so I'm gon na be taking the product and just applying some right to the top of the hair. Where you see the yellow bits, just taking it through the edge just lightly like that and then taking a vent brush and brushing it through just to blend it through, so why don't you try that take the vent brush and just brush it all the way back. So it's getting even yep and then through the top up here, yep, okay, perfect and then I'll apply a little bit more through the top surface of it and again. Why don't you just brush that, through all the way on the top, so you're just blending it and then we'll take it through, and then I'm gon na continue through the rest of the hair just lightly, applying the color brushing it through? So we continue doing like that all the way through your hair until you get it saturated and you can see that it's just a nice light covering over the top of the hair on pre shampooed hair. So it's damp, so the next step is you're. Gon na want to wait 10, 15 minutes and you'll notice that as it's turning its gon na turning kind of a violet ehue and that's what you're supposed to do you see that violet hue, that's coming through. That'S counteracting that! Yellow that you don't like in your hair, alright, so after that the 15 minutes, or so we can shampoo your hair as normal, we'll blow dry it and then we'll see the beautiful shiny gray result to maintain your gorgeous gray hair. You can use the shimmer lights. Shampoo and conditioner character and rescue treatment once a week and split ends repair on damp hair, okay, so we're back with Cheryl and her beautiful, gorgeous gray hair. What do you think? Isn'T it beautiful? Let'S look in the mirror here, you can see how it's beautiful, shiny and silver, no more dull, no more yellows all gone. I can't wait to do it myself. Where do I get it? Well, you can buy it at any Sally Beauty, Supply or beauty supply store near you, so where's my checkbook. Well, let's get it out and go okay. You

chirises006: I tried this today and left it on for about 18 minutes. Most of the yellow is gone now, but still have very little left on the very ends. Next time I will let it process for 30 minutes and hope it doesn’t leave too much lavender pigmentation— a little lavender I don’t mind. I have salt and pepper hair with lots of salt and I had good results with 10 volume developer. I recommend this treatment to remove the yellow from your silver/gray hair. Purple shampoo did nothing for me; not even applying it on dry hair for a whole hour. Shimmer Lights and Fanola is what I used. So glad I found this video, it saved my hair. Thank you Clairol!

MimiMouse: Can this be used on 30/70 salt and pepper hair? My hair is predominantly grey. As I would not want to lift or change the color of my "pepper" hairs, can I still use this product to cancel out the yellow tinge that I have mid shaft down on my "salt" hairs? Also, in comparison, is a 10% developer far less drying than say a 20 or 30% developer? One of the reasons I decided to embrace my grays in the first place was to banish dry hair caused by the drying effects developers. She has beautiful hair! I hope to also be 100% grey someday. Nice video! Thank you!

Tammy Duval: Can this be used on white hair also? I do have some grey but most of my hair has turned white..

JR Pacer: How long does this last on your hair and is this a dye ???

InABind: Beautiful model

Fabiola Londono: Where can I purchase the Clairol Demi 10v; I have been to Sally’s and salon centric ab And they don’t carry it, I live in New Jersey. Please give me an idea where to go.

Jacqueline Azadi: I would think that a purple shampoo is the way to go. She stopped dying her hair, why start again!

Bamabellejb: Hi! Hope you get an answer - I have the same question.

Lola M.: Is this dye??? I went grey to avoid dye. Why would I want to put dye on my hair again?!?!

Azabujuban-Hito: Gosh..just use silver shampoo !!

authentica63: Lola, i said the exact same thing when I saw this video. It is all about money.

Tina Harrison: My hair is coming in dull

Gayle Cheung: NO, NO, NO....

tony Turner: Notice that she also got a professionally done haircut didn't bother to mention that did they what a Sally boy
