I am sharing 3 hair growth serums I have used for some time now that seem to work well for me. It is very important to incorporate a nice scalp massage when applying these products because I do think it's an important component to the overall process of scalp health. Hey guys, it's melanie happy wednesday welcome back, i hope, you're having a great day uh. Today, i'm doing another video in my gray, hair motivation, series and um. This particular series is meant to encourage those of you who are looking to transition to your uh natural gray, hair, color um, so lots of suggestions in this series about how to get through the process how to deal with blowback, because, surprisingly, there a lot of people Experience a lot of negativity when they choose to go gray. I know that i have, i know a lot of other women have, so i just want to encourage you that if this is what you really want to do, that you can do it and you don't have to listen to what other people's opinions are about. Your hair, if you want to have gray hair, you should have gray hair so and then, once you go gray, what are some awesome product suggestions that work really great for gray hair now i am obviously approaching this from the standpoint of my gray hair, which is A little bit more um, fine and thin. I know a lot of people's gray hair can come in a lot more coarse, um. I i am not that lucky. I would actually love to have coarser gray hair because i feel like it would give me a little bit more body um. Unfortunately, i still have this fine baby, thin hair that i was born with um. It'S kind of the bane of my existence because i have to use a lot of product to get it to look full and lush, which is a look that i would prefer. I don't really like sleek looking hairstyles on myself, but you always want what you can't have right so anyway. This series is just all about helping you transition through the process, and then you know giving you some advice on how to how to work with your gray hair. One of the things that i get um one of the comments. I guess i should say that i get frequently on my gray hair videos. Is that going through the transition process is not the greatest. You can approach it in a multitude of ways. You can have a hair stylist help you, you can just grow it out on your own and then just cut cut cut as you go along and eventually you will have your gray hair and you will have gotten rid of all of the you know: residual color Uh, but a lot of women wish that the grow up process could go faster, and i do think that using hair growth, serums is a great way to encourage the growth of your hair. I think it's a great way to encourage also healthy hair to grow in, but i think the key to any of the serums that i'm going to share with you guys today is to really massage them into your scalp. One of the things that you should get used to doing is once you apply these products, it's just really giving yourself a nice gentle scalp, massage it's going to stimulate the blood flow to your scalp, which you know anything you can do to encourage that growth. Do it and a scalp massage is such a easy free thing that you can do to get your hair, hopefully grow and just even just a little bit faster so that you can get to the end of that grow up process. So i have three serums. I'M gon na share with you guys today, one of them i've been using on and off for a couple of years now, um, the other two i actually just started using over the course of this year. Um, i'm gon na start with the newest one first and then kind of work my way back um. I really think that all three of these are fantastic options and worth checking out, so i will put links to all of them in the description box down below um and yeah. Let'S, let's go ahead and get into it. I will also show you guys the growth that i have experienced in a specific area which, for me, is i'm really focusing on my hairline right. My forehead here and you'll definitely be able to see the growth um and we'll do that towards the end of the video, so um, the first product i'm gon na get started with is from the brand spoiled child. Now this particular one i did not pay for this. I applied to the brand via the octoly website and they selected me and they sent it out. Octoly does not require that. I give a good review um. They just require that i review the product good bad meh. They don't care um, it's supposed to be an honest review so um. That'S why i really like working with the octoly website. There'S never there's never any obligation and if there ever was an obligation to say something good about a product. I would not. I would just not choose to work with that company. I have to be able to tell you guys what my experience is so um. Also. I do want to say i also take hair growth supplements um, the ones that i use are the complete skin restore from city beauty. I will link those down below as well those of you that have been with me for a while know. My loyalty to that particular product, and that is the reason that my hair is as long as it is. I have never in my life, even since i was a child, had hair this long um. I'Ve always just really had short hair, because that's i don't know i just it never really grew past a certain point and using those supplements helped me get some actual growth to my hair. So definitely love those highly highly recommend and i'll link. Those down below as well, okay, so spoiled child sent this out to me. I'Ve been using it for the past month and, admittedly, i overused this product, this particular size, which is, i think, 1.7 ounces hold on. Let me take the little capsule out of here. I think yeah. This is 1.7 fluid ounces, we'll talk about this capsule here in a second. This is supposed to be a two-month supply. If you go to the website, which again will be linked down below um, this 1.7 ounce bottle retails for 68. So this is not an inexpensive hair growth product and they do have a 20 discount when you sign up for their auto ship. That brings it down to like 61 something and they ship it out to you every two months. I think you might be actually able to um select the like when you get the shipment. So could i think it's two months three months four months i think you can choose. Don'T quote me on that again check out the website, so this particular brand is kind of interesting uh because they have a very uh interesting approach to their packaging. So when you get your first order, you get this really nice glass. This is actually glass. It'S a very nice bottle and when you run out of your serum, you unscrew the top like. I did you take this out and then you grab your new one pop it in here put the lid button. You save your lid as well by the way, and then you have this really nice mist spray that comes out um. I really love the way that this product is dispersed onto my hair. When i use it, this is probably my favorite in terms of application um. It just provides the nicest lightest mist and i really really like that. It doesn't feel like just like a splat in an area. You know so my thoughts on this and we'll get into ingredients here in a second is that i really really like this product, and i wish that i wouldn't have misused it. I used way too much. I went through this in a month and i don't think that i realized just how much i was over using it um. I was using it all over my scalp, like all the way to like the base back here i was spraying every single square inch. Every single day, you don't need to do that um, i definitely overused it. This is supposed to be a two month supply. So for me i just i want to reorder this just for myself, because i do want to give it like a solid two-month testing period. Um, but in order to do that, i'm gon na need to order some more so um. This particular formula is the um a22 and they have actually three different. Like growth formulas available on their website, you can take one of their quizzes to find out which one would be the best option for you. This particular one. The benefits are that it is supposed to lead to fuller, thicker hair. This contains 100 over 100 minerals and vitamins amino acids and essential oils. This is supposed to promote your growth and combat thinning and shedding this brand by the way is cruelty, free, which you know, is super important to me. So i love that, and i also love that their packaging is totally sustainable. So when you take this capsule out, you can recycle this and then you pop the new one in so really. The only thing that you are ever putting into the garbage or recycle bin is this part right here. This is easily recyclable and then you just pop the new one in so i do like that approach a lot um. I again i love them the sprayer on this. It there's there's no more in here. I would love to show you guys the fine mist that this creates. But again i overused that's really my bad. It'S it's not the fault of the company. I just kind of went ham, but i will say it's really easy to apply this product. It um. It has a very distinct smell to it. Your key ingredients here are um hold on it's kind of hard to read it through. This bottle is frosted, so your key ingredients in here are biotin, niacinamide and rosemary oil, so those are going to stimulate the hair growth and keep your hair nice and healthy and uh keep it from shedding, which, for me, is one of the things that i'm looking For with any of my gross serums is to keep whatever hair, i do have uh on there more so than promoting new growth. I would like to actually just keep the hair that i already have now you do shed hair. Naturally, every single day you are never going to have a day where you don't lose some hair off your head, but if you're noticing excessive hair loss. I think i think diet is something to address as well, but i think also looking at your hair care and making sure that you are being gentle with your hair, making sure you're not over brushing not um using products that are overly irritating to your scalp. Just being kind to your head overall, i think is important and good internal health is important as well. So i absolutely love this. I do think it is a spendier option. I like the fact that you can sign up for their uh monthly shipment, and i look forward to trying another vial of that and i'm not going to overuse it. The next go around um so really really like that, and i think their overall approach to their packaging is fantastic. The product itself is, it feels good. It doesn't make my hair oily or greasy, i feel like it absorbs very quickly into the scalp and that combined with the scalp massage really makes my um. It really makes the health of my scalp uh feel great. So anyway, i used it all over and definitely definitely don't do what i did it's way too expensive to waste. So, there's that the second one i'm gon na mention - i don't actually have the bottle for anymore, because i uh i finished it several months ago, and this is the virtue flourish, hair density, booster, and so this particular i will link this down below as well. Um. You can find this product a few different places uh right now. I i believe it's on sale. I think it's on sale at skin, sir. I will i will put the best possible price for the virtue flourish in the description box down below so um. The that particular one is a potent botanical based nutrient infusion for the scalp that fuels fatigued follicles and nurtures new um fragile hairs. So they can thicken and thrive, it's good for fine, medium or thick hair and basically any hair type, whether you have fine hair, wavy, hair, curly or coily, hair, um and uh. Your main ingredients in that particular formula are the alpha keratin 60 ku clinical protein, which i believe they put in a lot of their hair care products um by the way, i love the virtue hair care line them. You guys know how i feel about their recovery products and i've used a lot of their styling products. I think they're a fantastic line. They are more expensive, but if you're someone who doesn't mind splurging on hair care, i highly highly recommend checking out virtue. I love them so much so that particular protein is uh, it encourages growth and the micro biome. Balancing ingredients are supposed to help with the overall health of your scalp biometrics, signaling peptides, which are meant to nourish and calm the scalp and help create a healthy environment. For growth - and they also have large wood extract in their formula which encourages the initiation of the anagen growth phase of your hair, which important, if you are trying to regrow in certain areas, love that product went through one bottle of it, and i do think it Definitely helped again with the overall health of my scalp um. It'S also actually a great styling product. When i was using it, my hair was uh. It looked a lot more full um. I think it actually helped like sort of um volumize, the roots of my hair, and then i use the other virtue products like their mousse and their volumizing spray. In addition - and i i had some great hair during that time - so that's another one - that i would totally try again um. I think the price point of the virtue is around regularly price is around 48 and the bottle, i think, is around like five ounces somewhere around there. So definitely a great option. The last one that i want to tell you guys about is the grow, gorgeous hair density, serum, and i will also link this where you can get it at a really great price right now, um this party, this one here, is my backup, the one that i Currently have in my bathroom is this guy right here, and i am just past the halfway point here. This is the serum that i've been using the longest it's my least favorite in terms of application, because it has this like pipette dropper situation, so you just have to do. They tell you to use about 20 drops over. You know your scalp area and then you're supposed to massage it in um. I brought this box out so that i could read you guys the ingredients from the back of this one. This is um. This particular formula they say is uh. We'Ve taken our best selling hair density, serum to a whole new level, with a 40 concentration of nine studied technologies that make hair visibly denser longer, thicker and fuller in no time. I don't think this is a no time process by the way you guys it's going to take some time to see that new growth um you're not going to get instant results. I feel like that's kind of a no-brainer, but i just want to say that any of these serums that you try you're going to have to give them some time um, you know give it like eight weeks at least and then see if you start to see Some new growth, um and again do those scalp massages. They make a big difference. It'S your key ingredients in here. I'M gon na mess up this first one. So i'll, definitely uh type this one out in the description box down below stabilized dihydroquercetin. Maybe i got it right, probably not glucoside complex um. You also have stabilized caffeine, complex in here acetyl tri, tetrapeptide, 3 and clover. Flower extract active complex. You also have bioactive p sprout complex bioactive, complex of chinese sculpt cap soy sprout and wheat sprout. I feel like these are tongue twisters for some reason, and you also have a very low molecular hyaluronic acid complex in here. So this is my third bottle of this serum. This will be my fourth. This is my last backup um. I i do think this one. Probably because i've been using it, the longest has been definitely giving me the majority of my results and um. The only thing i don't like about it is the application i do wish that they would put it in a spray format um, although it is kind of a slightly like uh. I don't know it's not super viscous. It'S it's still somewhat watery. I just don't know that it would easily spray out of a like mister or sprayer if you will, but this is one where i would really focus it around, like my hairline specifically, but also massage it all over my scalp. So i'm going to quickly put my hair up so that i can show you guys where the majority of the growth has been taken place um. I also have some baby hairs that pop up along, like my part for sure, but this is the area here where i have noticed the most growth. So whenever i put my hair up like lately, i've been noticing - and this is not breakage - you guys. This is new growth. When i blow dry my hair, i only use like the like cool air option around my scalp here um and the rest of my hair. I just use like the warm option. I never use high heat to blow dry, my hair, so this isn't breakage, i'm very gentle with my hair. So all of these, like baby hairs here like this, is all new growth and they're. Finally, starting to like get long enough to wear. When i put my hair back, they stay back, but when i was first starting to notice this growth, it was kind of annoying because, like literally like, i had hair. That was just like pink sticking up in the front here, but you can see like all this. Like this is all like these, this is all baby hair that is coming in, like on my hairline here. It makes such a difference. You guys um, and you can see this hair appears it's coming in white, but yeah there's just like a ton. This is all new growth and it's happening all over my hair. I'M just going to take this out because it looks insane like i noticed it along my hairline as well like. Finally, the hairs are starting to get long enough to where they're laying down with the rest of my hair, but for a while there, when i was really getting into like using these serums, and it had been a few months. There was just a lot of like big, pink, like hairs all over the place, so these growth serums work. They need to be used consistently. You have to combine them with the scalp massage, but i think they absolutely work which formula you choose is obviously going to. Probably depend on your budget or just whatever brand you're interested in, but i definitely give two thumbs up to all three of these formulas um. I think they are fantastic options and they can help you get through that growth process just a little bit faster um. Is it going to be lightning speed? No, it's going to take some time to grow your hair out if you're choosing that natural route, but stick with it, it's so worth it whenever anyone tells me that they are starting their journey. I always congratulate them because it is such a wonderful feeling when you are able to cut off the last little bit of that colored hair, and you are just left with your beautiful natural gray, hair. Whatever gray, it is for you, the gray hair that you get is the gray hair you are meant to have so enjoy that gray. Don'T wish that it looked like somebody else's gray, um learn to work with your own hair. You know, like i, i mean i'm one to talk, i'm always looking at other women and thinking. Oh. I wish i had her hair, it's so thick and luscious, but you know that person is probably thinning their hair out every time they go to the hairdresser. So you always want what you can't have but learn to appreciate your own gray work with it and do what you can especially around your hairline, to keep it nice and healthy so that you don't get that delightful. The receding hairline that i know the women in my family deal with so anyway, you guys, i hope this video was helpful. Let me know if you have any questions. Let me know what your favorite hair growth serum is. If you are someone who uses a growth serum, let me know what it is down below in the comments, if there's other serums that you think i should test out, um yeah leave it down below and check out that description box. There'S gon na be links for everything down there um. I appreciate you taking the time to watch if you are new. I hope that you'll take the time to subscribe. Give this video a thumbs up and i'll, see you in the next one. Take care.

Betsy/BA BF: If people can handle seeing people with pink, blue, purple, striped, half shaved, mohawked hair every day, they can handle seeing grey hair, which is a natural color for human beings.

Galatia Kardon: I have been taking the city supplements for 5 months and like I said in a prior video my hair is getting longer and and my nails are growing super fast. I don’t notice my hair growth but my hairdresser has. I can honestly say after decades of acrylic nails my nails are finally healthy.

Ali Haefner: I’ve been using the flourish density booster for maybe 4ish months every other day. In between the days I use the bondi boost intensive scalp spray ( been using for 6 plus months) . I’m not sure which one is doing it but I have so much hair coming in even my stylist was shocked I look like I got electrocuted because I have so much baby hair poking through and it sticks out my hairline has filled in so much as well that I have to part my hair different as I had hair in places I never knew had hair to begin with and that also sticks out I can’t recommend the virtue flourish without also recommending the bondi boost spray as one or both are working magic. I’ve heard great things about the grow gorgeous line :) maybe I’ll give that one a go too!

Kamloops Cruiser: I’m happy I switched. It’s grown out and surprised me a bit. It’s grey at the temples which I love and speckled salt and pepper on the rest. I expected more grey. I went back to a short pixie ish cut which helped. The other surprise was how much healthier it feels even without conditioner which I love skipping. That biotin spray sounds great. I’m thinning a bit on the 2 top “corners”.

Maria Zglinicki: I have been following you for a couple of weeks. You have great content and absolutely gorgeous hair. I love the color. I have just decided to grow out my gray. About 3 weeks ago I started really taking a look at my grey hair and actually started to love it. I hadn't dyed it in 9 months. My daughter surprised me for Mother's Day and paid for me to have a color and style cut. Unfortunately, the hairdresser didn't fully understand what I was saying, when I said that I wanted to blend in my grey because I am going to transition into my grey hair. She lightened the top but it's brassy. She colored over all of my grey hair on top and I was so upset.‍♀️ My heart was broken, when I saw what she had done. She said there was no way to match my color so she just lightened it up and toned it. She calls it ash blonde but it's not. It really looks different than before. She left my greys around my temple and ears... ‍♀️ I really hope the bleached hair stops looking orange. Any suggestions?

Melissa Weinstein: It would make life so much easier to not have to color my hair. It’s difficult to do at home and my roots start showing in about a 4-5 weeks now. It’s unfortunately not coming in grey but white. The process will be an ugly one for me too as I don’t look good with short hair. Maybe eventually when I can afford a colorist, they could color all of it a darker grey then my white hair could grow into it? I love your color! Just beautiful

candace keefer: Virtue density is half off at Ulta on Thursday may 19th during their hair event

Marleen G.: I have these baby hairs constantly, which is odd. I don't do anything special for my hair (I have fine hair, but a lot of it), I do eat really well though. Huge amounts of vegetables, meat, and carbs (potatoes yum LOL). I love my food! There's that. Those baby hairs, for me are totally gray, I guess a sprinkling throughout and my baby hairs, is how I am going gray. Fully embracing it. I have to admit. If it weren't for your awesome hair & videos on it, I probably would have dyed it by now. :( But... why should I, right? For those couple of hairs that are white on my head. I have most of my hair still one color, so it's silly to have to have the constant maintenance of a dye for just that!

Gwen T: Just curious if you have tried or heard anything about Vegamour?
