So my client came in with some long huge, thick beautiful, gorgeous, ah hair thick ass hair for me to bread it into a passion twist and look at me. Look at me out here. I was really surrogated god. I could not even part the hair, we had to do all kind of shape and malfunctions, and everything look at me out here, putting some rubber bands just so that it can stay in place, because you know those passion tweets, don't never stay in place. They just be falling off out of your head, so we crocheted it in you know we had to do that and then we used this water wave hair. We used some water with hair from mayday what a wave and we used that to wrap around to do the whole twist and all of that that's actually the best hair i've used for passion twist so far. You know some freetress hair wasn't working for me. So we had to use some mating and, oh my god, oh my god, look at her. Look at her gorgeous beautiful, oh fabulous! It'S the laugh for me. It'S a smile for me. It'S the joy! It'S everything! I don't understand how much i struggle to make this video for y'all. So this is part one of my hair routine, and it was highly requested after this video was posted by mimi. The hairstylist she's amazing best experience that i've had with any hairstyle is up to date and, if y'all in houston and you need your hair done, hit her up just as a disclaimer. The products in the routine use has been founded through trial and error over the years by my mom and now used by me, but in slight variation, and this is just what works for me. So i wash my hair every two weeks and it only takes me four hours. I know some of y'all thought it was a whole day event with how much hair i have, but no it really doesn't take me that long and i experience little to no pain during the detangling process. So i wash my hair while in the twist, which is my go-to natural hairstyle, because to create big sections to detangle and then having to part again can be very overwhelming and time consuming, and so i wash my hair with the dove intensive repair shampoo. I know really: yes, really. It works and then rinse and then continue to lather in the conditioner and then i rinse again and i am done with the wash portion, and i will continue on with what tools i use in the next video. This is how long my hair is, after it's been blown out, and it was in preparation for these toys. So the most important thing that you can do for your hair is to keep it moisturized between wash days. So i wash my hair every two weeks and in between that time period i go in and spray my hair with this conditioner water mix two times within that period, and i give extra love to my ends because your to ends tend to get dry very easily And if your ends are dry and then you will not see any growth so after i spray my hair, i also seal with the oil that i use and that's it so. As a result, i've never really had to trim my hair, because when my mom used to do my hair and she witnessed my ends getting dry, she would really concentrate that conditioner water mix at my ends and that pretty much solved the problem hello. This is part two of my hair, routine and i'll be discussing the tools that i use during the detangling process. And if you haven't seen my previous video, i did discuss the wash portion. So from this point on i head to my room, put on a good tv show to watch because i'm not about to stay in the shower to detangle for three to three and a half hours. So, let's get to it all right to start, i create a water, conditioner mixture which really slicks down the hair and helps with the detangling process, and this stays in my hair and i use a boar bristle hair brush. I don't use the plastic ones because for me they hurt and they pull and snag on the hair, and this is just a lot kinder to it, and this also loosens the dead, hair and tingles enough to where you can go in and finish the detangling process. With your wide tooth comb and the last product that i use is the aorus olive oil, frizz control and shine, and that really just seals it all up. So those were the tools that i used during the detangling process and then the third part i will be describing the process step by step, so stay tuned, hello, y'all. So this is a continuation of the hair care habits that have helped me maintain my overall hair health length and volume. So in the previous video i did discuss how to maintain moisture in between wash days and another way i do. That is that i go to sleep with a silk bonnet on and that also helps preserve the hairstyle as well. So another thing that i do, i rarely apply heat to my hair. I'Ve only gotten my hair blown out four or five times that i can recall and i've never gotten it straightened, and the reason for this applying high heat to your hair constantly quite often will damage it. It'Ll make your hair dry and brittle and cause a lot of breakage, so you will not see any growth. If you do this and our hair is not meant to be blown straight either. So that's something else to really consider so. That concludes this video. I will be making the last and final part of the hair habits that help help me maintain my overall hair health, hello y'all. So this is the last part of how i maintain the overall health of my hair. So, let's get to it so, depending on how often you get your hair done and how tight the hairstyle is, that can have a major impact on your hair. I'Ve only got my hair done six seven times that i can remember, because i mainly rock my natural twist, and i only really get my hair done for special occasions like for my graduation or if i'm going on long trips out of the country, because if you Frequently, wear hairstyles that constantly pull at your hair, some of your hair follicles, can be permanently damaged and or pulled out and as a result, cause hair loss and the thing about a permanently damaged, hair, follicle or one that has been pulled out. You will not see a new hair grow in that spot ever again and who you go to get your hair done is very important as well, because you want somebody to really handle your hair with care like not making the hairstyle tighter than it needs to be, Or detangling your hair dry, you know or any other aspects that would contribute to any hair loss or any hair damage. All in all, what i'm trying to say with these three videos is: let your hair be itself more, let it breathe all while giving it the love and care that it needs. Now, i'm not trying to say never get your hair done, don't ever blow it out or straighten it. No just be a bit more conscientious of the things that you do to your hair and how often you do them hello. This is the last and final part of my hair routine. I will be discussing the detangling process and if you haven't seen my previous videos, the most recent one, i did describe the tools that i use for said process. So, let's get into it. So in the first video i explained that i wash my hair while in the natural twist that i have, i detangle it twist at a time because, again for me, it's less time consuming. I don't experience any pain, i'm lazy! I don't like to part so i unravel the twist kind of comb through with my hands, and then i go in with my conditioner water mix, rub that in and i use the boar hair brush brush it out until i feel like the dead hair and the Tangles are loose enough to go in with my wide tooth comb, and then i guide the tables out until it goes into the middle, creates this clump and then i kind of break it bit by bit at the end, and then i do one soon. If it's good, it's good, i don't go, handbag, be gentle and then i go in with the oil rub it in retwist and repeat with the rest of them and that's it. I know some of y'all are probably looking at me like nah, that's cat. That'S all! She does that's all she uses yes and that's all. I need a little goes a long way because yeah, the products that you use are important. You want something that focuses on moisture and provides thickness during the detangling process, but it's the hair routine that you choose to adopt that determines the health of your hair, because black people, we are capable of growing healthy, long, voluminous hair. And even if length is not your concern, you can still have volume and you can still have healthy hair, it's just in the way that you take care of it. So i hope my hair routine helps and i do wish y'all look on your hair journeys. You

Simba: She needs to have her own hair beauty company. She needs to get that hair insured.

THE GREAT AWAKENING: She literally does not need any hair added to her hair. She has a MASSIVE amount of BEAUTIFUL hair!

Christina Harris: She’s right about moisturizing hair. About two years ago I started moisturizing my hair more often. Opening the shaft with water adding some leave in conditioner, and sealing it with oil. My hair is finally growing and I have minimal breakage. I wish I would have known this when I was younger and my hair was being destroyed with hot combs, dryers, perms, etc. I treat my hair gently with love now like a plant trying to grow and it really makes all the difference.

Kimberly Dooley: Natural hair is Not hard to take care of.. All it needs is moisture.. When I learned to stop putting all these extra products in my hair and stop trying to do all these unnecessary styles my hair started blooming and is healthy.. Just give her some love and let her do what she do!!

J: me watching this as a white guy with short hair ️️ who knows when I will need approximate knowledge of something completely unrelated to me but still extremely interesting the dedication and love going into her hair is incredible

ELIZABETH: Genetics yes but seems more like a mother been taking good care of her daughter's hair avoiding the deadly tight hairstyles and relaxers. Using mainly twits/mini twist with her own hair as a protective style while taking good care of her ends. This girl's head doesn't know tension, it only knows hydration and that's why it thrived.

Agent Smith: It’s INSANE finding this video because I came up with this exact technique at the top of this year for my hair…and I’d been wondering if anyone else had tried it. Really I did it because I was a welder and trying to maintain moisture. At first I did it w/ braids and now I’ve switched to two strand twists. It really works because you can really see how much of your “shedded hair” was actually truly breakage.

Dorlisa St Jean: Genetics may help you understand one's thickness of hair and how fast the hair grows but it does not determine if you will have long hair. That is up to you when it comes to taking care of your hair. Simplicity is everything. Your hair does not need all of these products. Get yourself some grease or leave in conditioning spray for moisture and just shampoo and condition when you are washing your hair. Also, twist/braid your hair and leave it alone.

Dominique Ritchey: This woman is so relaxing to listen to, and she layered in the info for her short vids so nicely for if they were watched individually.

Ashley Covington: I’m so glad you mentioned dove a few years back Dove came out with a line for curly natural hair and it was the best conditioner and shampoo that I’ve ever used in my life but all people could do is hate on it and say I’m not gonna try that and unfortunately it got discontinued and I’m telling you it was the best stuff I’ve ever had in my hair to this day The conditioner was so good that I didn’t have to use a deep conditioner afterwards and my hair grew down my back

Xena H.: You're amazing for sharing this. Simplicity is everything!!!

Divine Imbidom: •It works cause she does length retention (protective and gentle detangling and moisture with little tension) which is one of the 3- 4 methods out there

solarLola: What an affordable hair care routine. I’ve bought so many conditioners, shampoos, serums, seeds ,oils, herbs, powders, plants, juice, gels, leaves, pills, brushes all in an effort to grow long hair

Mommy 42: Let me start by saying i love your hair and im glad i don't have to do it. My daughters hair is long and thick too. I understand different strokes for different folks but... I cut my daughter's hair 18 months ago. (Bad salon experience) from waist length to 4 inches. Her entire life I wash condition blow out (use heat protection) and style. Usually braids or twists straighten every 4 months to trim if necessary. Her hair is at bra strap length after 18 months. I write this to say Heat is not bad for our hair. Not knowing how and how often to use it is. Ignorance. Otherwise I agree with with your methods.

Rose petals & Lavender: It's amazing that the passion twists are mostly her natural hair. I love how healthy it is. Just beautiful

Natalie Dayle: She has the most beautiful hair I’ve ever seen, not even just the length but the shine

Pebbles Brown: Young lady, let me just say I appreciate your relaxed-tone delivery. It is so soothing. Thanks for the information.

Ayana Johnson: I have a special needs daughter who is 21 years old. She has a whole bunch of beautiful hair, partly due to the fact that I have taken care of it her whole life. It has never been relaxed and seen heat only 3 times although I have cut it many times. At this time it is full and long (almost to her waist when stretched), and she is 5'8. Comparing her bountiful head of hair to this young lady's:this young lady has triple the amount of hair on her head than my daughter! It is what it is! Genetics makes a difference! Some people have more density than others! This young woman has SO MUCH HAIR! It is Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Tracey Dumase Banda: At that point I wouldn't even bother adding braiding hair. My hair is less than half her length and I already don't really braid with added hair. When and if my hair grows that long I'm resigning permanently from all added hair/wigs etc Black women are absolutely gorgeous though, my goodness

L aila: Her and her hair is beyond beautiful, just a stunning ladykeep glowing and growing beautiful lady.....

jessica bonds: Her spirit is so gentle. Such a kind presence

Aeryn22: I'm white with the hair texture to match. However, having knowledge about different hair textures is very helpful if I have a friend who for whatever reason (injury or illness)is unable to do thair hair, I could lend a hand and by not going in blind helps them out. Thank you for this, you natural hair is absolutely gorgeous. Also, you have a very soothing voice. You could do meditation podcasts

Jerandy Craft: When I watched it at first, it was for the "secrets". But now I watch it for the reaction of the hairdresser! When she Fabulous, I couldn't stop laughing. Simplicity and consistency is key with caring for our hair.

T Will: Ma’am, those are healthy hair “rules” 101, YOUR beautiful hair = genes

Bumblebee: How to have hair that long & healthy: 1) *TIME - 10 YEARS* 2) Hair care regimen 3) Routine trims 4) Eat healthy 90% 5) NO vitamin/mineral deficiencies 6) NO bleach 7) Minimal heat

Sassy Scorps: Just wow! No funky rice water, no clove oil! The products you use and the condition of your hair says it all. Can I please ask what oil you use? I've never seen natural hair this stunning before Keep slaying. ♥️

SFWATX yo: What a beautiful young woman. I am so proud of her presentation and her esthetics. Kudos to her parents, who clearly raised her very well!! Represent, girl!

gusmonster59: There is no secret here. Don't over process your hair. Don't over wash your hair. Your hair does no grow from the ends, it grows from the root inside scalp. Feed it from within. ANYTHING you do on the outside simply helps stop breakage, it does not grow your hair. Everyone's hair is different and may need different ways to reduce breakage.

SIMPLYME!: How would she know if heat will damage her hair, if she’s never straightened it???? I’ve grown my hair several times. Nothing she said here is anything we haven’t heard before or didn’t know… I think the key to her success is the lack of product, years of maintaining a consistent routine and keeping her hair twisted aka protective styles.

Brittney Keiona: She seems so chill and down to earth.

Stacey Williams: This may undoubtedly be the most beautiful head of hair I’ve seen!

Pauline Muthoni: I have never seen such gorgeous hair. Amazing!

Mira M: Hair health is the key! These tips are for hair health and length retention. Not for you to magically grow the exact same head of hair she has lol. The density and thickness of strands and many times your hair's porosity (although it can be altered via external factors) are genetic.

LilLadyA: I found that washing it more often, protective styles and going back to basics when it came to products worked for me too.

mrsbrownsugarsweetz: My granddaughter’s hair looks just like this. It’s a pain to style . She doesn’t use any particular products when she is hm. But when she come to my house I make sure I deep condition and detangle her hair with just for me. Then I grease her scalp and style. Her styles stay in for two weeks. Even if it looks crazy. Because she is very tender headed.

noiretbeau: Does anyone else hear how soothing her voice is?

Truth hurts...: How amazing to have long beautiful braids like that with all of your own hair

TheOnionQueen: I bet managing all that gorgeous thick hair took WORK! You certainly did it tho, those braids are beautiful on her!

cass stephens: Loved hearing your hair routine, and how gentle and respectful u recommend for choosing styles...ur hair is so beautiful...thnx for sharing

Adriana Bonita Aziz: She is the proof ! Black hair grows beautifully big , if you love it and take good care of it .. It wil love you back , for sure . #naturalpower

Angel Johnson: Thank you so much for your video! I’m trying to start back a healthy natural hair routine that’s I can be consistent with. You’re video was very motivating!

👑𝕄𝕚𝕤𝕤 𝕏👑: This was very informative and helpful! Thank you for sharing! I might try this!

Classy_D_Diamond: She’s reminding me of my old hair care regimen, Basic and little goes a long way. As YouTube grows it becoming too much which isn’t necessary

Penueletia Anna Dickson: Her hair is beautiful her skin is beautiful keep doing what you do I would love to see it in a curly look

spokeless: Your hair is so BEAUTIFUL OMG WHEN THE RUBBER BANDS WENT IN IT JUST LOOKED SO GOOD AND THE STRANDS YASS. Hair goals

Fee Mac: I haven't seen hair this beautiful...truly beautiful in a long time

Atomaticbill T: She's pretty much saying to 1. Stimulate the scalp(hair growth oil). 2. Keep the ends moisturized. 3. Use little heat. And I can test to this it works. Trust me ladies, it's easy for bw to grow hair, once you do these simple steps, you'll see tons of growth.

Lamesha Joyner: Her hair is freaking gorgeous #hairgoals

LJH: Literal hair goalsI’m taking notes

Kristina A: I’m white but either way, drinking green smoothies with veg and fruit as well as taking extra vit C (both every day for a month in prep for surgery) had the lovely side effect of making my hair grow much faster than it was growing for years before that. Vitamins/bodily health are one of the most important factors. I read a medical study once from NIH that said that almost half of all black babies born in the USA are very low on Vit. D levels. I was 20nm/ml and was having back and feet pain and depression etc. I got tested and began taking prescription high dose vit D and within 4wks I noticed all my back and foot pain was gone, my depression was much better and my negative thoughts were much less. vitamins play a big role but most are best taken through veg & fruit juices/smoothies, or non processed real food, bc most vitamin tablets are junk. If you do get vit. D make sure it’s the gel capsule form not tablet. God bless Oh, and gorgeous hair by the way!

Adeola Alagbe: So dang soft spoken, sis you are Winning. Thank you ☺️

Kanika Newsome: I learned a lot and especially because you're delivering was well said makes it absorbs better. You are great at what you do and I wish you much success with your Channel.

Lil Bit: Your hair is so beautiful. I can see that it's healthy. I wish my daughter's hair was that healthy and long.

@#keeping it real!!!: How she got long thick hair...she was BORN WITH IT. KEEP IT REAL PLZ!

CARTERMADE 86: So I followed her hair routine and guys let me tell you I did it for 3 months my hair kept stopping at my shoulder blades and now I'm past bra stap length IT WORKS

Lvplack Bussy: In the words of the great philosopher Phife Dawg, 'If you can't achieve it, then why not try and weave it. If you can't extend it then you might as well suspend it. If you can't braid it, best thing to do is fade it'

TheZaz: I already knew how the comments were going to look yes genetics play a part in everything literally everything but there is no hurt in trying to make your hair health if it grows or doesn't stop making excuses to have unhealthy hair ladies

Charlie B: Lawd lay a hand on this scalp like this beautiful black queen! Amen❤️❤️❤️

K Solo: Girl bless you!! Thank you for this video

Kyotopearl: Whoa. Amazing. ❤You have to have some real major arm strength for all of that. And PATIENCE. It reminds me so much of my younger sister’s hair.

Melody Shimpano: So, you can keep a regular conditioner in your hair without rinsing it? I didn't know I always assumed it could damage hair since it's technically not a leave in. Your hair is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Lakeitha Robinson: I love her hair! so pretty ❤

ToMySistersWithLove: Amazingly gorgeous locks Love it!

Yeri marchai: Thank you for the tips Queen

Sach glow: Yass!!! my two years her beautiful hair. Very practical tips, sample, well explain.

Gorjaz Tulip: I really envy her! her hair was so beautiful. I would love to see her on wavy look soon. Because that will really beautiful huge and thick wave ever!

NicoleB Jones: I personally feel like I saw my most growth when I was broke. And I said it like that because I was a college student. I would just get stuff from the Dollar general. My tried and true used to be I believe the conditions called 701. My friends would make comments about me using it as a leave-in but my hair was flourishing. When I had to use what I had on hand my hair was better.

Gravitas: Genetics, it's definitely genetics. Most people can attain long hair, length retention plays a role in how long your hair can be but ultimately genetics is a factor that helps this process.

Zaifu: White ppl/straight hair tends to grow longer 1) they add water often- water is key just like a plant water is necessary for growth. 2) their hair tends to be moistured more. Our scalp natural produces oil, the reason tighter hair seems drier is cos that oil doesnt travel the length of the strands due to all the curls. Make sure u moisturise and seal (grease/vaseline). 3) tighter hair tangles easier and more tangles means more breakage (when detangling) hence why leaving your hair in protective styles is recommended. Have you never wondered why locs grow to be so long. Even tho the hair tangles, its not being detangled so theres no breakage involved. If ur constantly combing ur hair or messing with it u will break it. P.s using protective styles but only prepping ur hair with gel aint gonna give u the results u want. Prep ur hair properly: water, leave in, then grease/oil (i mix a bunch of stuff into my grease) and dont use gel/pull too tight. Refresh ur hair with this moisturising routine often during the protective style and im telling you your hair WILL grow. (Speaking from experience)

Connie Edwards: OMG! What a beautiful and amazing hair!!

Amberyah: Ive adopted the conditioner water method and ive seen less breakage and moisture in the last 30 days. . Ty

Low Carb Lifestyle: Great tips...lol Especially when she says don't go ham on your hair, lol be gentle with your hair. Yes, hair growth requires you to be gentle and patient especially when detangling

Sephora KC: May God bless me with my hair length desires in Jesus name that’s amazing

Nightingale 🐦: Very beautiful girl! Thanks for the tips girlie

Alexa B: I can attest to the Dove conditioner and water, I’ve been doing that for years. It works and it’s cost effective. I also add just a few drops of vegetable glycerin but that step really isn’t necessary

TheShampooCoachHotLatherKyASMR: ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS VIDEO

Super_goop: Long story short: genetics play a huge part in growth retaining length. She has a very normal routine.

Z Xtraterrestrial: Oh my god. I've never seen such beautiful hair! Making me jealous with my thin ass straight hair

Kayse: Our type of hair does really need moisture to grow, im doing this same routine on my two year old and her hair is healthy and thick.

Traci Brown: 1st your hair is amazing. Koodos to your Mom for taking such great care of your strands early on. May I ask which oil you use? Also you mentioned that you deep condition? Which deep conditioner do you use?

Ann James: Beautiful Beautiful! But let's be careful here to make clear no amount of brushing, routine washing, all the best and clean products alone will never get you that hair. Genetics has a lot to do with it. My mom has or had incredible hair and try as I may my natural hair is remains healthy and beautiful at no more than 4 to 5 inches all my life. On my dad's side of the family it's the same. So while beautiful length but short healthy hair is just as beautiful.

@#keeping it real!!!: Trust and believe....you can't generate long thick hair. You have to be BORN with it!!!!!.

Marie Bazile: Your hair is gorgeous n you are very beautiful. For those who ask her what product she use, every person is different so that product she use may not work for u.

Dope Soul: I hate when y’all be in the comments screaming “genetics!” Unless there is some underlying medical condition literally anybody can grow long and thick ass hair. Juicing, taking ur vitamins, keeping ur scalp clean and oiled and ends moisturized..there ya go! It don’t be hard

Jenn Graham: Absolutely gorgeous

Glamma'z Place: Listen I've done everything as she said for years...thickness is genetic however anyone can grow long hair. Just not me lol.

Alchemical Sohl: Thank you so much for this! That Dove Intensive repair saved my life!!

Ajz4nana Grandgirls: I am stringy headed and I admire the styles and texture of black women's glory. Queens and Kimgs they are from Christ our savior himself and well I admire all of your culture and hairstyle. Never would I have the type of hair that grows that way. I can dream tho.

Lil Tricia: Thanks for this she is just lovely with hair approach she is an absolute goddess, bless her heart cause her already been blessed by the Gods

sassy: It not just what you put on your hair it's about feeding the hair cells to grow your hair what you eat plays a major role...if you eat poorly your hair won't grow... you have to feed your hair follicles from the inside out... by feeding your body the right foods... vitamin and minerals.... I see alot of videos and they never talking about eating right... only what to put on Your hair...

Simply Jean: This is all I do..wash, condition, leave in conditioner and grease. My hair has been flourishing. I do was my hair once a week because I workout daily.

fluffytailfku: I just cut my hair off but thanks to you I will use this for when it starts to grow back thank you so much with your beautiful hair.

Nichelle Loh: O my goodness, she has the most beautiful hair that I've seen in a very long time ❤️❤️! And she is so pretty,God bless her heart & urs. Her hair came out lovely thank u so much for sharing!❤️❤️

Zina Battle: Beautiful Hair, Thank You!

Santosha Walls: It's the product she put in her hair but we forget to ask her what is her diet what type of foods and fruits are she eating cuz that plays a role as well

Little Won: My only problem is blow drying. When they do it in the salon it looks moisturised and soft when i do it. Its crunchy and gets dryer faster regardless of my moisture routine before hand

DIY TRENDZ: Thank you for these tips, please I have a question and I really hope you'll get to see this. You said you wash your hair every two weeks, now I normally wear my hair in twists for minimum one month, now if I want to wash my hair every two weeks, do I also wash it and condition it while wearing my mini twists?

Gifted_Introvert: So when you keep your hair moisturized and pay extra attention to your ends, you would not have to worry about trims much. Thats what i always thought . Im about to rock my twist fr i just got to get comfortable with it

Kandikane: She has such gorgeous hair I can't say it enough.

Shasha Collins: Looks amazing but heavy as hell. My neck, shoulders and back are hurting just looking at this . Great job though.
