Hair Dye Disaster.. (Bleaching Black Hair)

hey guys, so this is unfortunately the reason why i haven't been posting any new pictures of my hair.. i explain in the video, but the reason why i liked it when i first got home was because i didn't notice the patchiness & couldn't see the colour because it was quite dark out. i didn't notice these things until the next day when i went out in the sun!

so quick **disclaimer**

it is in no way the hair salon or stylist's fault, as trying to lighten black hair is very unpredictable and shit happens. i was warned before i started that my hair would either take to the bleach very well or not.. and i guess some areas just didn't :(

i have booked an appointment & they're going to fix it for me, so the next time you see me it will be all better *fingers crossed*

Good morning guys it's currently 9:20 in the morning, and I would give you guys the biggest introduction to this video right now, but I literally don't have time. I will go way too late and by the time I got ready it's now time to go so good job Megan, I haven't even eaten food. Am I gon na be hangry all day today that poor hairdresser, he does not know who's coming, gave a little summary today, I'm dyeing my hair and I'm so freaking excited. I couldn't fall asleep. Last night I felt like it was Christmas, and that sounds so overdramatic. I haven't dyed my hair for the past like two years. It has been this black color, that's kind of faded to it almost really dark brown, it's not really as jet-black as it used to be, but it's going from black to Auburn. I'Ve wanted this color. For so long, I see models with this hair color all the time and every time I do I'm like I need that, and everyone always tells me to avoid that color, because sorry, I'm just checking the time, because I'm pasty as f, but I am just gon Na go for it, I don't even care if it looks bad, then [, __ ]. I just wasted a ton of money. If I'm gon na put this away, I literally do not have time this poor hairdresser is gon na, get a hangry [, __ ], and if she's caffeine-free that's gon na be even worse, so I got ta get my coffee and um yeah. Oh, I just dropped. My [ __ ] water. You know what I don't got time for you. We don't got time, I'm in the salon. No, I didn't get a chance to get my coffee guys, so they don't. For me this is part one of going from dark to light we've. Just put on the gentle cleanser, so I has a little bit of bleach in it weird. I love my hood, so we're gon na do one more fun after three hours us going through Instagram and Facebook and YouTube. I was gettin hella bored, so I decided to take some artsy shots at the salon. I was gon na take the cell, but I thought I would just show you how bored I was so enjoy. So at this point I started to worry a little bit because my hair was literally looking exactly like the girl. Next to me, I think her hair is beautiful as [ __ ], but this was not the look I was going for guys. I lied. I'M going to go hard; no, no. The colour is officially on its gon na see what like half an hour with bangs one colour in the room, because my roots are like natural and then a different color. Here, like ketchup and mustard, I'm hiding my hair because I need a like, read riot and straighten it and stuff before you guys see he did this beautiful blow-dry look Thomas [, __, ] and then I walked outside and it was windy and raining. Do you hear that because I didn't have any breakfast today or lunch, I made myself a huge play of zucchini and bacon pasta and yes, this is all for me. Are you guys ready three, two one? What'S up it looks so weird, it looks really rad huh. I don't know if I like it or not, but I feel like it looks really cool like I look like poison ivy meets valentine's day, but when it's like this, i feel like it's so much red. It looks like darker when i was in the hair salon. What do we? What do we think? What'S the verdict, I think it's like such a cool color that most people don't really have like it's more of. Like I don't know, I haven't told Francesco that I've dyed my hair, this color. He thinks that I'm going like a brown, which I thought too so he's gon na - be [ __ ] surprised when he comes home to a red, haired, [, __ ]. I'M really surprised at this color like suits my skin tone. I was a little bit worried because I'm so pale that it was gon na look weird, but I actually like it. Oh, you know a [, __ ] don't got time for that, hey guys, so I spend about two to three days after I got my hair done and I am so unhappy with it and I know that's gon na be kind of shocking to you guys because You saw the last clip I was so happy, but like it's totally [ __ ] like if this was a plastic surgery. This would be a botched surgery like for one. This isn't the color I wanted, and I actually kind of liked it. When I came home because, as you could see outside my window, it was really dark and foggy. So it dim really showed me like what it literally looked like when I'm in the Sun, like it looks like almost orange eat like it's a nice copper color, which is beautiful, but it doesn't look good on my skin tone like I was looking for more like An Auburn e Brown, where this is like red like this, is like an actual just red color. It'S completely patchy. I didn't notice this until the day after I got my hair done like me and Francesco went out, it was super sunny outside and he like looked to my hair and was like it looks like black like he looked, and it totally is like around my face. Still black in the back of my head, it's black, so I have like black here and it's like super light red. I can't even put my hair in a ponytail because, like my whole head just looks black and I'm just like really upset, because I spent so much money getting it done. That like. I should have at least been happy with what it looks like afterwards, and I remember at the end, like I thought it looked cool like I was just so taken back to me with a different hair color that I didn't really like. Think about it, and I was like oh yeah, like that's totally what I want to thank you when I went home, I was like okay, [ __ ]. This really isn't what I wanted and then the next day like to find out that I have black here and stuff has just made me like so upset like I feel like a clown and I'm sorry to be so dramatic. I don't know why I'm being so dramatic about this, so I'm just gon na end the vlog here, I'm sorry that it's ended so emo, but I just thought I would share with you like: what's actually happened and not just like [ __ ] like this, is The reason why I haven't posted on Twitter or Instagram, like any pictures of it next vlog, it will hopefully be fixed. I will be vlogging it so expect that really really sorry. I wanted this walk to be like super happy, but I want it to be real with you and give you the reality of. What'S happened rather than [ __ ] and give you a picture-perfect thing of my life so I'll see you guys really really soon. Thanks for watching, I love you and yeah

Megan Margot: just want to point out to everyone commenting that i've never used 'drugstore' or 'box dye' on my hair. i've only ever used salon products since my mom is a hairdresser (the colour i had originally was from goldwell colorance in 3N)

Zarah Zu vlogs: Also call the salon right now! You can get it fixed! As a hairstylist we deal with this all of the time! Ask for the owner to fix it! They shouldn't charge you and fix it for free... just don't wait TOO LONG!

Jessica Ruth: I actually think the red tone really suits you ❤️ I’m sure they will be able to sort it out for you. I once went from blonde to brunette and ended up with patchy khaki hair, awful! When it’s sorted I found olaplex really helped get my hair back in good condition. There’s one you can use at home, think it’s called No.3 the ‘perfector’

0.0: Box black hair dye is ridiculously hard to remove so I understand the patchiness at first. They should’ve organised more bleaching appointments instead of doing it all in one to completely lift the black dye colour to a light blonde. The colour he put on you seemed correct, but because of the way your hair was still a weird orangey brown colour after the bleach, it messed with the colour of the actual dye he put on, making it turn warmer and orangier than you expected

Tay Roberts: As a hairstylist, this is considered a corrective color and as it may not be the color you want now with each session it'll get one step closer to where you want it without compromising the integrity of your hair. I am not siding with the salon or saying they did it correctly however, I understand why it is the way it is and they should have told you upfront. Regardless you look bomb with a dark burgundy color. ❤ still bomb af.

Jen Vegas: As a stylist, I would definitely go back to the salon, they should be willing to fix it. Although lifting such a dark color to start with is hard, and a process.

Jessie Dean: I’ve totally been there! You go through ups and downs being like “ok it’s not that bad” and then “it’s awful and needs to be fixed NOW”

causantin: I totally know how you feel! I also spent lots of money on changing my hair color in the past. (Also damaged my hair a lot in the process) I know it's really frustrating but I'm sure you could fix your hair color at home the way it is now. Best wishes.

yashmita arora: Girl i'm sorry! Hopefully they fix the black bits, still look bomb as usual <3

Zena Huam-ko: Ugh girl I get how you're feeling. I spent sososo much money getting my hair highlighted twice by the same stylist. She assured me she could work with my dark black hair, she couldn't. After two highlighting sessions I ended up just dying is back to black. Such a waste of money and I regret not having someone else fix it. Definitely hit up the owner of the salon and have them fix it!

Taylor: I feel you! The same thing happened to me when I asked for chestnut brown hair- it was straight up maroon red and I cried for like three days. I haven’t gone back to get it fixed because I’m just letting it fade but they should totally fix it for you for free!

kim moore: love that you're so real! hair is important and although it can change, no one likes spending money on their hair and it not come out perfect. we get you!

cecilia: This is so strange, almost the exact same thing happend to me when I wanted to get an auburn red colour at a salon! I also had previously black coloured hair, and the result after the hair salon was just like yours! I remember the red colour being nice but I too had these weird black spots that didn’t seem to react at all to the bleach. So weird. :(

Rebeca Servin: I can understand the feeling, I stopped dying my hair after going to the salon spending hundreds and not getting the results I wanted, sometimes depending on your hair type can be really damaging and whenever I was trying to get it fixed it just didn’t work, my best advice is to rock it! go for a shade that will gradually blend with your natural color and style it to your beautiful face shape, you are beautiful already so no matter what color you choose the way you maye it pulled together it will look awesome! like on intention not like an accident but how it supposed to be ;)

L G: First time discovering your channel! You’re super sweet and have a funny great personality. I know what it’s like not to like the outcome of your hair. I hope you find a fix soon and feel better ♥️ I def can relate to your pain

becci trauti: HUNTY, i understand you 100 percent. I cryed my eyes out, when i had a "botched" hair style. Your gonna get through it. in the end its just hair you can get it recoloured. :) lots of love <3

Amber Christine: Aww hunni I'd definitely stop into the salon and let them know how unhappy you are with the result and I'm sure someone, most likely the head stylist or owner will fix it for free because nobody wants a bad review and it's important to have satisfied customers. I hope it turns out just the way you want it. You honestly have a look that can pull off any hair shade, so I'm sure you'll look just perfectly stunning.

cheyenne •: Literally JUST happened to me four days ago. I feel you girl. I had box dyed black hair and when she finished my hair at the salon I thought it looked okay and when I got home I saw how patchy and damaged it really was. I should've gone back but I didn't and I've had to cut a bunch off and buy a toner. Spent a ton of money as well! So frustrating.

Amiah Gilbert: As a hair stylist, your color came out how I expected it to. First of all Auburn is a red color. Second, years of black box dye will never come out evenly without a couple sessions. He should’ve explained this to you but it actually looks good

LadyMir: You look beautiful with whatever color, hairstyle or look you wear honestly. But girl I totally feel you, I fkn cried with you because I had a similar experience and it’s sucks when you’re very excited about changing your look but at the end it isn’t what you wanted . Anyways, you look beautiful either way and I wish you the best in fixing your hair xoxo

Hannah Street: I had my blonde hair dyed dark brown (professionally) for about a year before I realised that I hated it and wanted to start going lighter. I went to a new salon (I'd moved cities) and had a number of consultations and strand tests where the colorists tried to work out which steps to take to get an even result and prevent damage. Whilst it was disappointing to hear I wouldn't be platinum blonde within the day (lol), I'd done loads of research and already knew it was a really tough job before I went for my consultation. If a colorist had over-promised I would have walked out of there.

AnnieMustange: I feel like you are one of those ppl who look great in any hair color. I love watching you channel, I subbed recently and have almost watched all of your stuff. Can't wait to see more!

Azure Cel: The red looks actually very pretty on you! But I see what you mean about the patchiness. If it hasn't been more than 5 days since your salon visit, I'd suggest calling them back to see if they can fix anything for you! Like, maybe they can bleach the roots again, or maybe they can die all of the hair darker? Though that might be putting you back at square one, haha. Every stylist I know says to never dye your hair black for this very reason, but I'm sure that if you at least speak to the stylist again, you can plan out another appointment in a couple months to have another bleaching to try and fix it! A YouTuber I watch (Kennedy Walsh) has, like you, been dying her hair black for yearssss, and she wanted to go pastel pink! At first they could only bleach it to like a bright pink/lighter red color, and then she went back in a couple months and had it bleached again, and now it's a color she likes! She's commented several times on how extremely damaged her hair is now, so I guess you've gotta choose between a pretty color or healthier hair haha. Whatever you choose, I'm sure it'll look great on you! You look great now as well!

anjeanettes channel: I'm so sorry sweetie! You have every right to be upset, our hair is a part of us! I have botched my own hair countless times, but one thing to keep in mind is that it can always be fixed. You have such amazing blue eyes, that is the first thing people probably see anyway

Cady Lynn Oregel: This is why I’m so thankful my sister in law & cousin are hairstylists. I can trust them and they’re always super upfront about what my hair is capable of and what will result in a disaster. But any hairstylist should be upfront when doing hair and let their clients know what is achievable and what needs time to be done. It’s upsetting I understand completely how devastating it is to have your hair turn out a completely different way than what you wanted ! I hope they fix it for you but to be honest that red is gorgeous on your skin tone and brings out your eyes even more !

Susan Angeline: girl. girl. I FEEL YOU!!!! I've had my hair fucked up in the past going dark to light and had to get it back to dark and because they bleached the shit out of it it was brassy as hell. AND the salon treated me horribly and refused even a partial refund. It was an actual traumatic experience for me that I try not to think about too often. I'm going TO-MOR-ROW!!!!!!!!! to get it lightened again and you re-terrified me. I'm terrified. I'm sorry it didn't turn out the way you wanted (but it really doesn't look that bad). I hope you get it to somewhere you're happy with and if you don't want it to be dark anymore STAY AWAY FROM BLACK DYE!!!! Love you. Stay strong. Thanks for posting. <3

Aurora Rora: Oh girl I feel you! Hope you get it fixed for free!

profyord: The red actually suits you very well

Bradley Hanson: I understand your pain, I just got my hair dyed (at a salon) and it was supposed to be a pastel purple, blue, and pink. What ended up happening was she didn’t lighten it enough and my hair was still orange and yellow, so it came out orange and green, with a few pops of dark purple (which I also did not want) and blue on the ends because my ends and roots were the only things that lightened enough. Also the way she dyed it, the color came out striped and not blended at all. I’ve washed a bit out, so now I have orange blonde hair, with stripes of purple...

Mrs Lori: It’s the fault of the hairdresser. I had the same problem 2 years ago an my hair looked exactly like yours. Then I had to do it myself for less then 30$ and it’s perfect now If you want to get it even I highly recommend highlights or balayage to kinda fade it+it’s less damaging❤️

Heather Lynne: Totally think the red looks incredible on you girl

Y Cat: Aw girl and you were so excited! Hopefully you get it fixed to the color you wanted♥️ you still look so beautiful though! I'm sorry this happened to you

Devan Wilhalme: I feel your pain. I got my hair done and it came out black and red like yours. It was t the stylists fault because I should have known my hair would take like that. Anyway you still look beautiful. And I’m not just saying that, you really do

Boglárka Balogh: ☹️❤️ a few years ago someone messed up my hair too and i was so unhappy keep up girl and search for a better hairdresser ❤️❤️

Danielle J Winter: I can’t tell you how much I relate to this video and think it’s so refreshing to see things like this posted!. This exact thing happened to me I had dark hair that I had done lighter as a balayage look and was told by a top salon it could be done on my hair I paid £350 to have it all done over two days and it literally ended up looking like a child painted my hair it was so orange and patchy and I weirdly did the same thing as you when I was in the salon I was like ahh wow it’s nice to have a different colour, then I went home and noticed how patchy it was and once I washed it realised how much worse it looked and I honestly cried for about 2 days I was devastated mainly because I had waited 3 years to have my hair done and saved the money over the 3 years for it to end in tears. So I know the heartbreak you was feeling at that moment so thanks for sharing the realness!! We love you xx

Denia Rodríguez: Im so sorry you are not happy with the result , BUT you do look beautiful girl! You are gorgeous and the color truly look gorgeous on your porcelain skin ❤️ Hope you feel better xoxo Costa Rica

Sati Devi: This is exactly what happened to me. I went red, then brunette at the salon. Then I bought Olaplex and did it at home and left it in for 2 hours and toned it. Then let my hair heal and bleached it again using natural dye, and I've been using natural dye and toning it ever since.

Elle Quinn: No stylist should’ve ever let you walk out like that . I mean you can rock anything but it’s clearly very uneven and certain potions are red others are still dark . I went from black to medium brown / auburn hair and they literally did a 20 minute bleach bath and put a level 6 toner over it / they’ve been dying my roots level 5 and toning every time I visit . Like other comments have said , go get olaplex or the redken version ph perfector . Both are amazing and made my hair like new again within a couple treatments

Cheyenne Castro: The color looks really good on you! But I would agree with some of the others, you can go back to that salon and say you’re unhappy with it and have them fix the patches for you. Red suits you amazingly even copper would.

Heather Wood: I actually really like purple-red hair it’s so so pretty. I recently bleached like 5 inches of regrowth and it took me like 3 weeks to get to the color I wanted bc I wanted to do it slowly/healthy. I definitely walked around with orange/brassy colored roots but I wanted to take it slow. I’m just saying, bad hair happens to all of us once in a while. ☀️

Lia Andrade: The same thing happened to me as well I went to get my virgin hair dyed blonde for the first time and it DID NOT come out as expected I wanted an ombré and it’s more of a color blocking from straight brown to blonde. Sadly hair dye jobs just don’t always turn out as planned

Yashi Singh: You still look beautiful, hopefully you get exactly what you were looking for

MonikaRa: I know the feeling so well.. I was going darker from blonde, turned out green.. I got the good color in the end :) and now, due to many years of bleaching, had to cut my hair off, and now I am waiting for it to grow out... not a happy hair period :) yours needs some fixing and it will look perfect! :)

Katrena Coulson: Awe Megan, your so beautiful and it actually suits you that colour, but I would defo go back to the hairdresser & get them to fix it as it shouldn’t be patchy like that. Nothing worse than being unhappy with your hair after paying so much for it! Hope you get it sorted ❤️ xx

Victoria Barnett: Go back to the salon and say you aren’t happy with it and they must fix it doll!!! Express that it took 4-6 hours only for it to be patchy!!! You don’t have to settle for that if it’s not what you want! Call them now girl xxx

Deanna Cooper: You still look beautiful go back to the salon and they should sort it for you xx

causantin: Girl, red looks amazing on you!

Pamela Valenzuela: Every single color looks bomb on you girl! I had an experience like that,i wanted a blonde and they gave me an orange color , I cried a lot! But then I used to,u know waiting for that to reach the f out

cyranothe2nd: That dark red is actually really gorgeous on you. Maybe not this application, because of the patchiness, but the general color is a good one for your skin tone. Very Melisandre vibes.

andrea marcum: Girl you still look gorgeous! Hopefully they’ll fix it! ❤️

Emily Martinez: Your voice was shaking in the end... I feel for you. I've been in your situation before and I was devastated. Wait a few days-weeks and try to get it redone properly. Love you & your videos!!...

Brianna: Believe me. I've been in your shoes. It's your hair. I've cried over my hair too. It's okay. I hope someone can fix it.

anna b: It’s beautiful on you Megan! Don’t be down! Don’t worry, be happy

Claire Brewster: I had the exact same thing happen to me . Had black dyed really long hair which I had done at the salon (no box dye) decided to go back to my natural light ash brown colour . Went to salon was so excited It had to be bleached which I think was left on way too long as the hairdresser was busy with another client and left me When I came to washing out my hair was bright orange and black and like straw . Had a colour put on to match my own which came out ok I had been there that long I just wanted to go home but was good to see my hair lighter again . I paid £130 for this but after two washes in the space of 4 days the colour washed out it was so brassy and orange I felt sick was so upset . I called them the next day and said I wasn’t happy so went back in and a different colourist saw me . They even said the colour I had put on was the wrong one . So he put the new colour on which was the right one but my hair was so damaged from all the dye and bleach it felt like straw and to make me feel even more shit because I had gone back and wasn’t paying for the correction o when the colour was washed out the hairdresser just gave my hair a quick messy blow dry which the hair brush couldn’t even get through they were brushing so hard I have to have my hair straightened after blow drying otherwise it’s just a frizzy mess which they didn’t do or even offer just wanted to get rid of me I cane out of there feeling like I had a birds nest for hair . Will never be returning Luckily that was 6 months ago and constant conditioning has helped but at least 3 inches of my hair has totally snapped off from underneath where the bleach fryed it . I’m contemplating now having it all cut off so short so I cAn start again . xxxx

Tanya Garcia: O, Megan you still look good!!! You can fix this! Its fixable!!! I can't wait for your next vlog. Happy V day!!!!

Nada H.: I love your hair colour, but I understand your unhappiness with the patchiness, I have gone blond and the colour is so uneven and it makes me unhappy. hope we both find a way to fix it !

Nicole Fannin: The red looks bomb on you! Hair is a very big deal! I'd have them fix it girl!

Anna McGee: aww im sorry ur hair didnt turn out so great i stopped going to salons when i was a teenager cuz both times i went to get my hair done they ruined it. I've been doing my own hair for years and it never turned out bad like a salon trip. I would just youtube and research hair stuff before i go for it

Alessandra Selena: this has happened to me before where i was looking to literally turn my hair to bella thorne's orange hair and i was botched on my hair just like you & i spent a lot of money too and i was sooooo unhappy.

Michelle Perez: Your dark hair was so beautiful on you!! I don’t think you could look bad tho.

Drop Dead Spookie: You're still beautiful! For what you paid the salon, they SHOULD fix the two-toned look this week for you! Good luck, chica! x

CallMeCourt: I went to a professional to get my hair a burgundy color, but I had so much box dye on my hair by the time I came to her. Since I had done so much crap to my hair, my expectations for the first round was kind of low. It was a little different from the picture I showed her but not by much. But the second time I went to her was bomb. Just give it one more shot. And by the way, red or black...both look awesome on you!

kathy p: no reason to be dramatic!! my hair is my life so if something happened to it like that i would be very upset to! i hope it comes out better with your next appointment and you’re much happier!!

Haley Cogburn: You should call the salon, and the process he did to lighten it was weird. It seemed like he didn’t want to damage your hair so took an extremely safe route but he could have lifted you more and more evenly so it wouldn’t be patchy. They should fix it for free! good luck love you!

Karolína Doupovcová: Honey that copper color still looks bomb AF on you, but I'm sorry for the patchiness. Hair is very important I think for every girl, but you still look amazing and everything can be fixed :)

Michelle Quinsey: I went through the EXACT same thing. I spent a ridiculous amount of money to do an ombre dark brown to blonde. Initially I was shocked and liked it. But I soon realized that they put the blonde way to close to the top of my head, less of an ombre look and more of a line and the blonde was orangey. I spent a sh!t ton of money (450 dollars) and was actually so disappointed in how bad it looked that I didn't trust them to fix it so I just box dyed it and it actually looked soo much better when I did that. But, I learned an expensive lesson :(

Lydia Thompson: GIRL! I went from black to auburn toooo!! omg. but mines different since im extra tan lolol. I color removed mine first though and then just used a hi-lift auburn. it looks good on your skin tone you look like a seductress or like joan from mad men. last time I tried to go red it went to bright PRIMARY purple / red and i cried and was so sad because part of it was like red and some was like purple-y, i wore a hat for days. you aren't being dramatic. like the tone of the red matters. i need an orange / red not a purple red since i'm biracial and have yellow undertones. if it's the wrong red you feel like a clown, i literally said that to myself. i feel like with red there are so many variations that even like a slight difference can make you upset. im sorry to see you this way im so sad!! i did a vitamin c and shampoo treatment to remove the red on me... but you should go to the salon for a correction that's egregious. i feel like he shouldve treated it as a color correction knowing you have artificial dye on your hair. even the first time it looked like he didnt lift it properly... he shouldve done like a soap cap or something and gradually lightened. idk if i like that stylist. like why did u have hot roots at first ? like...

Alexandria Wicker: The color it self looks really well on your skin tone!

Emily: On a side note your makeup in the last half of the video is beautiful . Could you do a tutorial on this ? X

Mamamia: That’s exactly why I cut and color my own hair, stylists stay fucking up my hair and I have to an arm and a leg for it? No thanks lol. Anyways you still look great!

Our Crazy Bunch: You go girl go on with your bad self ..love it!!

Lex Rose: You don't seem dramatic, when I got my hair done after spending so much money and it wasn't what I wanted, I was wicked upset. When you spend so much money on something and you don't end up liking it, you get so discouraged and disappointed. A lot of girls can relate. But, I do think you still look beautiful! But, def call the salon and try and get it fixed so YOU can feel better!

Amy: Salon will happily fix this. Common problems arise when going so many shades lighter. ❤️

Malula Photography: The red looks amazing with your skin tone

Kayla: Got my hair done at a new salon.. big mistake!! My hair is all messed up now too and it does make you really sad so you aren’t being dramatic at all! I hate when I pay a lot of money for a service and don’t end up getting what i asked for!

Leyanore: The red tone totally suits you, but the patchiness is not well. That would make me very sad too, so don't worry about feeling down in the video. *hugs*

Sheila's Pet Relief: Aww you look so stunningly beautiful ...always.. I’m sure it will all work out and in the end you will find the perfect color that you are looking for.

Adrienne Spencer: I know everyone is weighing in on their opinions, and I have one too! LOL! When I was in my early 20s I dyed my hair black, and did so for a few years, when I finally decided to go back blonde it took a YEAR to go from black to what I would say was a Jennifer Aniston blonde. Going up that many levels is just something you have to be patient with m'love!

Moon Kitten 💜: Maybe he can add a toner free of charge. I use to use Garnier medium reddish brown. Everyone would always ask me me about it. I got tried of red and now I use raspberry truffle same brand. I stopped letting stylist she my hair because they never gave me the color I wanted. Hope you can get it fixed. Keep us posted. big hug.

The Dark Shinobi: My question to you is, had you died your hair with box dye before? Did you tell the stylist? I'm sorry that happened but there are so many reasons for it to have happened. You hair could actually reject color as well. My advice next time is to go somewhere else

Mell M.S.: Darling, they really did a terrible work): But one thing is true: it's impossible for you to look bad! You rock any hair color, you are effortlessly stunning <3

Jane Smith: you’re so me. i always think my hair or nails look good at the salon but when i get home i cry lmao

Bethany: I dyed my hair black from box dye for over a year and it took SOOO many trips to the salon and months of waiting for it to grow out to have my more natural colour back. At one ponit my hair was black, blonde and red .

Sarah Imhoff: I think red looks amazing on you!

Valentina: I love this wayyyy more ! The black was way too dark for your skin! Beautiful

Anka.D: The red colour looks nice but definitely go back and talk to the owner and he will fix it up. That’s what I did like exactly the same thing lol still had black in some parts red in others

Sara Staal: I am so looking forward to the next video! But I also feel freaking bad for you... I hate to give myself a title of professionalism, because I am still very new to the industry and learning all the time, but I am a hairstylist, and what happened to you really shouldn't of happened. When you feel really shit about your hair, it can really be one of the worst feelings (as you know)….

Barbara Cuellar: You look beautiful boo! I really love the color on you ❤️ and really like when you drop your water it's like your signature now.

BIANXX: We had the same situation that's why i watched a lot of hair tutorials to bleach and color my hair on my own so i won't spend a lot of money for them to ruin my hair :( the worst one was an italian bleached my hair longer than it should be, its already bleached 2 times so the 3rd time my hair was breaking and he put the violet hair color at the end while my roots are so yellow. :( had to cut it short and let it heal a bit. SOME salons are traumatizing

MJ Funk: Going dark to light is always very unpredictable especially if you have used box die on it. You are gorgeous and it looks great but if you are that unhappy I would go back and either get them to fill it and dye it back until it’s healthy again or get your money back. To much bleaching and processing will fry your hair. So sorry this happened to you :(

lizzie576: I feel your pain.. I asked for balayage, I did 2 colour removers weeks before and came out with dip dyed orange patchy hair. I asked for it fixed and it looks better.. they should sort it.. hair is a big thing like a safety net for some women. You paid to have it done right

pokkets: Go back to the salon and tell them you're unhappy with it, it's your hair and since you spent money you deserve to enjoy it!

Tiffany Piper: Okay.. first of all.. your dark hair looks amazing with your skin and eye color. Holy smokes.

Colleen McNally: I think you look absolutely beautiful with that color

Alexandria Knight: I love it ! Go back to the salon and ask for them to colour correct it

Alondra: Cutie, get back to the salon and just show the end result. You have the right to do it! <3

Laura A.: THE RED LOOKS SO FUCKING GOOD!!!! very very very pretty! Looks great on your skin color

AverageJodi: OMG if I had a dime for every time Megan spilled her water, haha. Love her.

LoversOnsight: Lol this happened to me on the 9th of february. It was an expensive hair salon, i was already blonde but had some dark roots.. i asked for highlights so they bleached my hair but it turned out a dark blond/brownish color. They said it was because of the toner.. i was crying

Ash: Stay dark! You look amazing with black hair ❤️❤️❤️
