Braiding black hair involves making a straight part, sectioning off where each braid will be, separating each section into three equal pieces and overlapping each piece all the way to the tip of the hair. Create uniform braids in black hair with beauty tips from an experienced hairstylist in this free video on hair care.

Hi, my name is Rihanna or, and I'm gon na Silas more than ten years now, my shop is located in East Point Michigan and I'm here to show you how to break black hair braiding black hair is definitely different from other cultures. Black hair generally tends to be more coarse because of this, it is important that you get a straight part, which would be your first step once you part the hair and section it off into the area in which you want to braid. You want to separate that hair into three individual pieces when you separate it into the three individual pieces. It is very important that the three pieces are of equal size. If the pieces are not of equal size, the braid will come out lopsided. Once you separate into three pieces, you begin to overlap each piece in the same order. Each time you continue to overlap it until it reaches the end of the braid. When you get to the end of the braid, although it may be difficult, you have to be sure that you braid all the way into the end, depending on the thickness of the person's here. If you do not braid all the way into the end, it will unravel and all of your hard work will go in vain, I'm Rihanna or - and this is how you braid black hair

japanatheart89: nice video! I think the technique for braiding all textures of hair is the same though..... the only difference is the amount of tension that needs to be applied in order for the braid to stay, and whether or not something needs to be put on the ends (i.e. rubber bands, barrets etc...) so the braid won't come loose. Not all black hair is the same, certain textures require certain things. Not everything that works for one person will work for all people.

the_nixierae: You have to oil it too!

IamMe UAreU: Thank u. I am attempting to learn how to braid becuz I would like to take some of the stess off of my BM, you know..So wish me luck and thanks again

Emer Rald: @imnazhole I'm sorry for your situation, but this is not a good help in braiding hair. There are some way better tutorials on youtube that i hope you have seen and used instead of this one. This video makes it seem like she can't do hair for shit for a stylist of 10 years. On her braiding videos, (especially the one with braids with extensions), she braids like an unprofessional. Hopefully, you do your daughter's hair way more neat and just better than her.
