Hey guys welcome back to my channel, I literally have about ten minutes before I have to jet out the door, because I am volunteering at my children's school today. That'S what I do every Wednesday! So, but a few months ago I made a video about the Loreal root touch-up for blonde hair, and although I liked that - and I did definitely use it - it wasn't the easiest to apply and it was a little yellowy. It was a little bit too yellow, especially for me in the winter months, because I get really really pale in the winter months, and so I was wanting something that was a little bit more of a dark blonde. So I went to Sally's and I picked this up. It'S made by a company called Claudia Stevens. I guess - and it's called cover that grey. I think it was about $ 10 for this product, but it's brush on and I really really like it. It'S so much easier for me to apply and there's a lot more room for error. You know, I think you could tell in that video that I applied one spray. That was a little bit too close and it was just really really um concentrated and I'm just looking looked a little funny. So let me show you how I apply this okay, so I just left and came back because I just realized: there's no way. I'M gon na be able to beat the clock. No, it's gon na be late to my children's school, so I just decided to go ahead and go um. So anyways, let's get back to this. This is what it looks like coming out of package um. It has little compact, but I've already used. It obviously looks like this and it's got these two colors. You know one's the blonde and this one is the brown and then it's got a little mirror. So I guess you can apply it in the car or something if you need to, and then it comes with this little brush and this brush is kind of janky. The hairs just fall right out of it. It'S really silly. I guess you could just use any brush, you want so anyways, okay. So that's what it looks like. So I'm obviously gon na use this color and it looks it looks like it's a really nice color. I'Ve already used it so um. So I know how it works. Anyways, let me go ahead and apply it, and let me show you what it looks like now. Hopefully you can see that I've got on my silver hair right in there. You know what I'm gon na bring you it a little bit closer. That way, you can really get a good idea what's going on here. Okay, so, as you can see, I've got a bunch of silver hair right in here. My entire part is pretty much all silver. It'S pretty condensed! That'S right hate. When I use the word kind of likes the throw. I won um. Okay! So then that I got you know some right in here and I'll show you how we do that. So I'm just going to tuck my hair behind my ears really tightly so you can kind of see it see how it works. Look at my gosh, it's okay! So, let's take it um it a lot gets on a brush when you just barely barely tap it, but this is how it works and it turns out to be a really pretty baiji type of blonde, which I prefer over yellow blonde anyways. For me, not in general, I think if you can go super super blonde and it looks good on you. Oh my gosh harmony. Now, sometimes you might get it on your scalp. I try not to, but it's not that big of a deal. If you do do that, can you see the difference already looks really good and, as you can see, it's just so easy to apply and a little bit goes a long way with this stuff. Like I said when you barely tap it look at how much kind of I don't know what you would call that fallout now, it does have a little bit of like I said, beige tones. Sometimes I don't care for it when it gets on my part, but I mean I'm sorry when it gets on my like scalp, but it's kind of hard to not let that happen. So look at that as you can see it just it looks really nice already. As you can see, it's a darker blonde, it's not such a yellowy blonde, like the other stuff was. I just think it's such a beautiful color. Look at that. I'M gon na. Take you back out. Okay, I feel like it needs more right in here. Just kind of blend all the colors together, so let me do that. Like I said I don't like when it gets on my scalp. However, with a little bit of rubbing, I feel like the color seems to come off the scalp, which I like, because when it's on the scalp like that, it almost looks like it's a reddish. It almost looks like it has reddish undertones, and I don't like that because it doesn't really blend and I feel like in this lighting, it looks a little bit more red and reddish than it does in my natural bathroom lighting or outside. It really does such a great job of covering up this gray, the silver okay, okay, okay, I think I'm done. I think it's pretty much okay. So that's the end of this video. Now, as you can see the color, I really like the color. It'S not gon na. Of course, one of you buy product that you know you're just gon na apply and it's supposed to be temporary. It'S not gon na be a perfect match, but I feel like it blends pretty well, so I really like this product. I think I'm gon na definitely be reaching for it more often than I do the Loreal root touch-up, because I feel like that is a little bit too yellow for me in the winter months um I kind of like that color in the summer months, but not Necessarily in the one of months, because I'm so pale, so I want to hear from you. I want to hear what you guys think and, like I said, I love the color on my hair. I don't like the way that it seems to color my scalp, but it seems to come off the scalp pretty easily so we'll see. I sure hope that this Texas is facing the right way. I think it is if it's, if it's backwards in my mirror, it should be okay, so anyways. Thank you for watching. As usual, I'm gon na go ahead and put links to everything that I used in my description box so that, just in case you're interested you can go purchase it. Also, if you like this video, if you found it helpful or useful, then don't forget to hit the thumbs up button and don't forget to subscribe to my channel. I'D really appreciate that until next time,

Beauty By Anne-Marie: This color shade blends perfectly with your hair! I thought it really did a great job at covering grays/roots and need to pick one up for myself. Every time I need to color my roots I'm amazed at how many grays I'm getting! You look gorgeous as always hun! xoxo

MaryEllen After 60: I think it looks great, Jenifer. I have a drawer full of root touch up products, and yours is by far, the least expensive brands. If I am successful igoing gray, I guess I will be passing my stash to my friends. To be on the safe side, I will keep them until I KNOW I don't feel like an old lady with my natural hair color. You are always such a pleasure to watch! Blessings, and love...MaryEllen

Midlife Wild: Ugh, neverending struggle to cover up greys! Thanks for the tips.

RV thereyet?(Dan & Sammy asking=): Wow~I can see why you like this one Jenifer, it really does blend well=) At 51, I am just now starting to get grays, so far it;s scattered but I know it won't be long until I'm also going to be needing something. My issue is my hair color~it's my own natural color, but it's a blend of blonde, sandy brown and reddish tones. Some call it "strawberry blonde" but it's not really. I very much like my color but I am having a hard time imagining I will find anything that blends my kind of odd hair color. A few people have said I will likely need to dye my whole head a more uniform color range, and then try to match root touch up products~ugh. Maybe I will just let it go all the way gray~guess it depends on what shade of that I end up with, right?! Thanks for sharing your research lovely one, God bless your family this holiday=) XO ~Samantha in AZ

Ranalynn’s Lifestyle in Hawaii: Thank you for the demo on this. It's so frustrated on keeping up with our greys ‍♀️. Plus I have dark brown hair and my grey hair is very shiny and very silver. My granddaughter inks I have glitter in my hair when it hskws through. Thank you for the suggestion. I've tried the colorwow that comes in a small compact with a brush. I have also tried the Toppik but it's in a spray. So I spray it on a synthic brush then apply it. This product does great. My fiancé ask me when I plan to highlight my hair or start going salt an don't pepper? Men.....?

MQS 1: I use Joan Rivers Beauty Great Hair Day Fill-In Powder (from QVC). It is terrific! It also makes a great brow powder. Happy Holidays Jen!

Denise Keene: there's this product very similar to this that was on QVC....it was called Wow Root Touch Up, I believe! it looked so effortless, natural and they had a nice rang of different color for every color hair! and they also had specific types of colors like a warm honey blonde vs a more cooler undertoned blond and ect. I believe they were selling it for 27 dollars and it came in a little compact like that for easy travel. that product really seems like the holy Grail, most ingenious, answer to all root touch up problems! they even talked about how it could benefit not only ppl with greying hair but it's also good for younger females and males who have highlights or has dyed their hair and is in between getting their roots touched up, how well the products applies on them and thier situation as well! ...so if u think this product was good, I think ud fall in love with this product and have a high chance of quite possibly never looking any further for anything else! u can YouTube the episode and do a bit of research on ur own, just type in QVC wow root tough up and decide from there! no I haven't tried this product before, I'm 29 and iv never dyed my hair or anything (always wanted too tho) but when I seen this I did tell my mom about it! problem is she's in a fixed income and I know she won't buy it unless she knows it works for sure and I 100% trust ur opinion! ur always so honest, so I know if u tried it and loved it (which if/when u see how well that product seems to work during that episode, I think ud for sure be sold on it too) then I know my mom will get it for herself! she's super insecure about her hair anymore! she's even tried wearing wigs but they didn't look natural plus it was getting too expensive getting her hair died and colored so often, plus dying her hair so often was making her hair break off as well :( now she's just sporting her "silvers" but like I said she just not ready to sport them neither!

karmich k: That really did a great job! I'll definitely be picking up some. Thanks for the great video! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :o) ♡♡♡

Francie Lewis: How awesome is this? I saw a video of Madison Reed's root cover compact at $29.95 and was hesitant to try something for the very first time to begin with and then I thought that was a bit pricey for me - especially if I didn't like it. I can drive a couple miles and go pick this up at a decent price - even better with my Sally's card - and if I don't like or don't find the right color the first time I won't break my somewhat hollow sounding piggy bank - especially this time of year. I might just even make this a stocking stuffer to me! Thank you for once again sharing and Merry Christmas!

Carib Spice: Even though I may never have the need to use this particular product I do appreciate you taking the time to share. Have an awesome weekend :)

Eats Bon Bons: I buy a little mascara (marketed for gray touch up) to cover up my gray roots. It works ok, but the other day I tried some eyeshadow lol and I think I liked it better than the mascara type! I'll have to check this kind out . Would you say the formula is similar to an eyeshadow or is there much difference?

Dianne D Ballard: I use a product like this that comes with a sponge tip applicator. It works beautifully because there is no fall out flying around . I loved the color on you.

T Marie: Ugh I'm so sick of the gray war...I'm trying so hard to let it grow out and just go gray...but it's very hard.  This kind of product is just so tedious the grayer you get.

Karen Nosseck: I use Joan Rivers beauty, Great Hair Day, fill in powder, it's sold on QVC. It works great.

Linda James: I use that brand for brunette 's and LOVE it!!!! New subbie Texas Lady

Clara Sherman: Your hair looks great. How does that feel like when you touch it? I hate sticky feel on my hair. And how long does it last? Rub off resistant? I'm very interested. Thanks

Sarah Stroud: u should use a kabuki brush to apply that jenn, i feel like that would make it super easy. i am 32 and i have seen a few grays around my temples lately and its freaking me out!!i stopped dying my hair about 2 years ago because it was destroying my hair. i use that fanciful haircolor rinse and it works great!!

Melly Adkisson: great video! I need something like this!

Amery: what is the consistency of that "powder"? Is it any different than any eye make-up powder which many women already have? And does the powder you used last all day?

Lovespitbulls: Any hair care tips for hair that has turned to straw from maybe coloring too often? Also thinning which yours definitely is NOT.

Stacey O: Please, please do the ride or die skincare tag!! Here's Melanie's. I know there may be overlaps with other videos but it would be awesome to see in one place. https://youtu.be/kVyQUb_b80g. Loved getting to know you this year and look forward to more in 2017. Happy Holidays!!

Trish Gonzalez: I like it. when I see the color in the compact it doesn't look like it would work, but it does. Thanks for the tip!

Sheron Windsor: I use coco powder I color my hair red colors and my new growth is 90% silver works great

Basset Girl: You are so naturally beautiful no matter what!

Karen Farinacci: Love your videos. Can you tell me what shades of eyeshadow you have on. Looks clean and natural. Thank you

Sandra De Alba: Great Review, thanks for sharing

Lynn P.: I use Color Wow. I haven't tried another. Obviously I'm not blonde. But what I found works is to lay it down with the brush with one stroke, then over lap the next stroke. Brushing back over the same spot seems to lift the color back off the hair. You can tell, like yours, there is a lot of fall out so it sticks back on the brush with the second stroke. Does that make sense? So I use long clips on either side of my part and then apply the color wow (light brown). And yes it gets all on my scalp but then when I'm finished I run the hair brush through my hair and it just all blends in and looks fine. Like you said, it's not perfect but it keeps me from going to the hair dresser every three weeks and lets me extend to four.  Thanks for the video :)

Stratus Strong: I say let the gray go cause women with natural gray are gorgeous and very attractive :) But I know its a very personal choice.

Susan Hopkins: Looks great

Shannon Bennett: yay!!! jen, you're the best. I so hate my Grey's. I probably couldn't have done this video so thx a bunch. merry Christmas

Tanis Gentle: I wonder if you tried rubbing a Q-Tip along your partline Jenifer, after you apply the product, I bet it would help lift it off the scalp where you don't want to see it. I will see if they have it at my Sally or if I can order it, it seems like a good temporary solution.

Tracey Ní Breitheamh: gotta try this!! thanks!!

Glitzy Fritzy: Mary was late but here you see after watching days ago on Apple TV #worldsgreatestrhymer LOL of course I "liked" & BTW you know what I'm so guilty of just using my TooFaced Brow Envy on my roots after I do my brows LOL xoxox Mary

Cattana A: Just ordered and I'm excited to try it. Go Cowboys!

Terry O'Malley: I love your lip color! Please share what you're wearing. Thanks so much!

B. B.: It looks orange-y...i use morphe eye shadows. They are pigmented and mostly i use it when i am wearing my har up.

M Smith: what color did you start out with ?

Sylvia McDonald: You are beautiful.  If you don't mind me asking what color do you use to do your whole head?  Beautiful blonde.  Thanks  God Bless

Kate Parkes: It’s just temporary for the day right ?

M Smith: looks good

Wendy: I think u should let go all silver. u would look awesome. u would look awesome with any hair color. just sayin...

Gloria Chaney: Too light

M Smith: where is the video ??????????????????

M Smith: did yoy higlight your hair
