aartadventure: I love that the defendent incriminates herself in her firs sentence "I always put my dog up when someone comes to visit". That is another way of saying "I haven't trained my dog and I know it is unpredictable and possibly dangerous". It just went downhill from there.

This is Good News: I think this is the first time I can recall where JJ dismissed considering lost wages and was persuaded by the litigants arguments to not only consider but grant it.

Darknienna08: 6 stitches for a finger is HUGE. Considering most small bites are not stitched, that was likely a big wound. I was bit as a child in the meaty part of my hand and only got 3 stitches. I feel for that woman. Glad she got her fair judgment.

Whenever I visit, as soon as I sit down on the couch, it jumps up and gets in my face, making me uncomfortable.Once, I sat down on the sofa and I heard something go squeak. I pulled it from under me, and I held it up and said to my friend,wtf is this?!" In an instant, the dog lunged at me , growling attack my hand. it nipped my fingers causing minor wound and pain. I backhanded it, knocking it to the floor. It retreated underneath the coffee table, barking and bobbing in and out like it was going to make a second attack. My friend who witnessed the whole thing yelled at me, "WTF you hit my dog?!" I was so pissed off, I kicked the table over, sending everything on it flying. I could hear those barks turn to yelps as I stormed out of there.
