> > I'm gon na sit down., >, >, Judge Judy. You can either sit down or tell me what happened. Perfect. [ Laughter ] Good idea.. Did you see a doctor > >? Yes, ma'am. > > Judge Judy I'd like to see the report. > > Sure.. There'S the report. Okay. Go. > > Anytime, someone comes over -- > > Judge Judy, Not interested in anytime. Someone comes over > >. I put my dog up anytime. Somebody comes over and I put him in my room. > > Judge Judy. I don't care > > Okay. >, >, Judge, Judy October 16th., > > Okay. >, >, Judge Judy Your roommate is doing the plaintiff's hair. > > Correct. > >, Judge Judy. You have a Rhodesian Ridgeback. > > Correct. > > Judge Judy. Did you see what happened when she got bitten? Did you see what happened > >? Yes, I seen it. > > Judge Judy. Yes, you saw it. She's in a room in her bedroom with the door closed.. So now I'd like you to tell me from what vantage point you saw: it. > >, I was in the room with them. > > Judge Judy. Is that right, > >? No, that's not correct. > > Judge Judy. Not even she says you were in there with them.. She couldn't think that fast. > >, No. I was in the room with them.. We all were talking. >, > Judge, Judy And ... > >. Okay, I was in the room with them and I put my dog up like I always do., And I lock him in my room or shut my door, keep him in there because I know he gets. You know excited when he sees someone and then I left the room for a minute. Okay, When I left the room, I went into the kitchen. When I went in the kitchen and when I looked down the hall she opened my door and went in my room. > > Judge Judy. Did you go in the door and open her -- > >? I never left the room. > >. Yes, she -- > >. I only went to one room sat down and that was it. > >, That's not true.. You know it. No.. I told you not to play with the dog and you insisted that you knew my dog well enough and you don't. > > Judge Judy Listen to me.. Did you hear the story that this lady just told me a moment ago? > > Yes. > > Judge Judy. Do you know how totally different those two stories are? Do you know how different those two stories are? >, >? Okay, if you say so., > > Judge Judy Well. She says that she got up and went to the bathroom and opened the door, and your dog came in.. You say you saw her go into your bedroom, which is down the hall.. Do you know that those are different stories? > > Because I went into the kitchen. > > Judge Judy: Do you have any un-reimbursed medical bills, > >? Yes ma'am.? I do. > >, Judge Judy I'd like to see them. > >. I have the medical bill. I have the two medications. I have also the two after-care co-pays that I had to pay and I have that.. Oh I have my loss-of-wages right. Here. > > Judge Judy, I'm not interested in your lost wages. > >. Oh I'm sorry., Okay., >, >, Judge Judy. You had a laceration on your finger.. How many times did you go to Kaiser once > >? I went there three times.. I had two after-care that I had to go to to take the stitches out for wound care two days later.. So I went a total of three times. Ma'am. Can I just add one thing: > > Judge Judy Yes. > > When I said `` loss of wages ,''. I never missed work before and it was because of the dog bite I had to miss, and I have the work note right here from the doctor saying that I could not go. And, like I said I never missed work ever before. > > Judge Judy. How many stitches did you have > >? I had six and I type and I work with my hands all day.. I could not go to work. > > Judge Judy. How many days did you miss of work, >, >, Two days ma'am and I have my pay stub and the note from the doctor. > > Judge Judy Is this for one week or two weeks, this net pay > > It's for two weeks. > > Judge Judy Anything else Judgment for the plaintiff in the amount of $ 1,000. We're finished.. Thank you.

Kim: I knew she was gonna sit down

S C: it’s crazy how people can be at fault and not care or take accountability.

Cecilia Montenegro: A lot of people are like “haha she sat down” (which honestly I get to a certain extent) but when someone dangles a roof over your head and will ultimately be gone if you don’t do what the house owner says, I feel bad for the defendants roommate

Cheryl Coleman: Love me some Judge Judy! When she said, “Either tell me the truth or sit down” and the witness said, “I’m gonna sit down.” That was classic!

Iyke Harrison: You can really gauge when someone is lying if you pay close attention. JJ is an expert at that.

Giancarlo Carini: Wow the defendant is lying so badly its not even funny. This is Judge Judy, not Wendy's.

Shifting2Wolf: My guess is, this isn't the first time the dog bit someone. Which is why the defendant is trying to put the blame on the plaintiff, who is there to let her hair be styled. She really wants us to believe that a hairdressing client starts wandering around a new place and interact with an unknown dog who was rambunctious and hyper active? Edit ; English isn't my native language.

BlueKnight04: Why would someone whose never been to a house before, randomly decide to wander around while having her hair done? Makes zero sense

damieg82: Wow the defendant is a total liar. She wants JJ to believe that the plaintiff, who had NEVER been there before, decided to just randomly walk about the house, and open closed doors. And it doesn't even align with anything the hairdresser said!!

der_ radierer: Wearing a cross over your shirt while lying in court is a new level.

Adam Garnes: Oh wow did y’all notice how JJ said she wasn’t interested in her lost of wages. Then once the plaintiff proved her point JJ changed her mind. That was something u don’t see her do too often

Seth Brown: Props on the plaintiff for coming very prepared

Jemma J: The witness looks so scared of the vile room mate, hope she was ok after that

c S: Oh she sat down!

The SB: the defendant can't even lie logically

Mary143Paige: Her defense literally makes no sense. Why would she be up walking around the house when she is trying to get her hair done?

Who Said That?!: All the hairdresser roommate can think about is how she’s going to homeless again after this.

aartadventure: I love that the defendent incriminates herself in her firs sentence "I always put my dog up when someone comes to visit". That is another way of saying "I haven't trained my dog and I know it is unpredictable and possibly dangerous". It just went downhill from there.

Marvelhero24: The defendants stories were getting further and further from synchronizing, seemed like they both gave up.

GoldenJoyyy: She knew the dog well enough but it was her first time at the home?? lol Granted she could have met the dog before but doubtful.

K Carter: lmao the story the defendant made up was kinda hilarious. She said the plaintiff opened her bedroom door and told her that she was familiar with the dog. Even though that was her first time over there. Then she started by saying she was in the room w/ them then she said she was in the kitchen. She really was throwing the book of excuses at her and hoped one stuck lol

Lizzy York: Rodesian ridgebacks should NOT be in an apartment. Anyone who has had one knows they are super active and need lots of room to run. They are literally bred to hunt lions.

Alx Hades: JJ aint a stubborn lady. She didn't care abt lost wages until it made sense and saw proof of that. wow. Thats a good verdict.

Hung Vu: I love it when Judge Judy quick glanced at the defendant roommate

G A M E B O I: The plaintiff was TOO prepared! I need a messy courtroom drama, people.

Fatima Irving: Judge Judy has me screaming with her facial expressions

Lynne Crisp: Good glad she won she deserved to win. U can tell the others say BS

TBC: She sat down wow!!!!! So she knew she was about to lie

Shayna Nichelle: I was just waiting on JJ to ask how do dogs open doors? If the door was closed the dog can’t open the door to get in, lol that’s how you know someone is lying.

napoleon32: Two episodes and we never heard anything resembling a defense

Mel S: 6 stitches!! Wow. I've heard about those Rhodesian ridgebacks before

BlackNBuff: I ain’t ever seen someone run so fast away… I’m crying!

Lydia Tefft: 2 of THE WORST LIARS I've ever seen! Seriously, did they even talk before the case started????

lilscooter93: I never realized until I started watching these clips on YouTube how many of Judge Judy's cases are dog bite ones.

David Williams: Right off the bat 00:00...."I'm gonna sit down"

Jazmyn Brown: She might be homeless after this y’all. Damn…

Susie Sunshine: Hahaha, she did it!!!! She sat her lying ass down, lmao!!!! Yea, that was the only smart decision she made, lol!!

crpsaiyan: It's perfectly clear that defendants had no defense for their actions or for their dog's actions for the matter. This was an easy case.

Darlene Fraser: Wow. Do NOT think that you’re smarter than JJ and lie. She WILL catch you and rip you a new one!

L T: Bahahahaha!!!! "Any time someone comes over......" She is soooo desperate to get her story out!!!!

1223Brown: The witness actually told a better lie than the defendant! Why would this stranger whom you’re meeting for the first time, just open your bedroom door !

i'm not paying to access the article: Defendant’s are not even good liars

MAHIR ALBOKHARI: JJ is my favor judge but i think she was very strong with the barber lady when she told her : if you are afraid to be homeless again !!!! she just killed her front of millions of people ...... no need to be RUDE judge !!!!

Country: The Defendants were flat out liars. Shame on them.

Yumi Jaymesme: Thank goodness Judge Judy awarded lost wages. The plaintiff's main job involves typing. That's going to hurt to do repetitive movements after an injury like that.

Nicholas: Lol how you gonna lie that bad?… The two lady’s on the defense probably got so nervous that they forgot their agreed upon story, so therefore started making it up on the spot lmao

Pati M: That beautician might have lost her room after this.

Sandy Beach: If the defendant had said that plaintiff got up to use her restroom which is located in her room or if the only restroom is located in her room maybe she would have sounded truthful but it doesn't matter anyway.

Emmanuella Adzaho: Some people are just bad liars!

1ryanlc: She actually changed her mind on the lost wages!

Darius Covington: I actually feel bad that the witness has to deal with the defendant as a roommate! Also her sitting down from fear of having to lie to basically keep her housing was sad.

ReyoVR: 1:00 "From what vantage point did you see it? I was in the room with them." 1:33 "I looked down the hall, and she went into my room." Not to mention the story from her roommate, her story wasnt even consistent in what room or where every person was when the incident took place.

return 42: Checkmate by JJ on having her sit down!

Koala Jane: Lying Defendant. Lying Witness.

Becky Migdal: Finally,it’s not a pit pull.

Lola Bombshell: they didn’t corroborate their story with each other? omggg

Merry Hineline: I thought she said, “I shit my door…”

nycmami: I’m very glad JJ listened to the plaintiff about work because she should definitely be compensated if she had to miss (w/o pay) over that.

This is Good News: I think this is the first time I can recall where JJ dismissed considering lost wages and was persuaded by the litigants arguments to not only consider but grant it.

AsusanXT: The plaintiff was ready. Sometimes I don't see JJ awarding lost wages.

Jonathan Washington: You can tell plaintiff watches judge Judy. Stated her case, answered questions, had proof and most importantly shut up when she was not needed.

Sli Hlengwa: Your witness opts out of answering wow. Levels!

Miru StClair: The defendant had an entire plane ride to come up with a half decent lie, and that’s the best they could come up with?

Jamie: Plaintiff came ready, amazing.

Larry Leventhal: Why do people think they can come on Judge Judy and just lie through their teeth? So stupid.

A'Riel The Great: Omggg she chose to sit down!

Musings: God bless Judge Judy. I hope she has Christ in her life. I'm praying for her. She's so anointed by God. ✝

Jarred Unknow: The plaintiff "Thank You Very Much" at the end have me weak. 3:35 She knew she was going to WIN this this case

Cornelius Wesley: JJ:Good idea

Mauve Mouse: Rhodesian ridgebacks are nothing to mess around with

SieYol: I love when JJ gives the side eye while she’s reading docs

Olayinka Ajose: I’ve never seen JJ grant lost wages before. Good for the plaintiff. Her case and damages claims were well put together

Gayle Brown: Yoooo. I cannot believe the defendant is lying the way she is. She said the plaintiff insisted she knew her dog. Why on earth would she say that when she's NEVER been to your house before?! Not only that but as JJ said her story was completely different from her witness that was CRAZY when she said that. Smh!

Eddie L.: The defendant is this type of woman. If you're sitting in a parked car along the street and she comes driving up right behind you to park and accidentally hits your bumper dhe would tell the police that you were going in reverse while she was trying to park her car.

Get Off You Bass And Let’s Fish: Dog bites owner is responsible plain and simple. Loss of wages …. I teresting

Darknienna08: 6 stitches for a finger is HUGE. Considering most small bites are not stitched, that was likely a big wound. I was bit as a child in the meaty part of my hand and only got 3 stitches. I feel for that woman. Glad she got her fair judgment.

MrMousley: I love the way the defendant's witness decided to 'sit down' because she obviously couldn't remember what she was supposed to say happened .. rather than what actually happened !

• Bukitsu •: Say no to drugs

Nerdiasme Sailing: If at fault, so sorry, take care of the person....jeez My dog bit someone once and if it was his fault or not. Be embarrassed and pay up and then some!

lau carlton: JJ last word said" anything else" is to test the plantiff if she is greedy person and ask for more compensation. Glad she didnt keep thinking for extra...

It’s Like Candy: Why is it that every dog owner doesn’t take responsibility when their dog bits someone???(most of them)

binky tube: :54 "Yes, I seen" Lololol. I love JJ correcting her.

keeping it 100: The lack of accountability dog nutters have never cease to amaze. Dog owners have such a character flaw, it is no wonder they get along with an animal which can't talk back to them and tell them they are wrong.

joshua keely: That is what happens when people don't care to train their dog or try to make them mean. This lady thought she would make a hundred bucks and the dog bite was funny until she lost a customer, ruined her business reputation, lost trust from current and future customers and now have to pay 1000 dollars. Not so funny now.

Peace Freedom: I think the witness is gonna need a place to live after this

ALVeil: I absolutely love judge Judy

funfunster: That defendant is screwy. I think she's missing at least 4 or 5 chromosomes.

sjc3480: The defendant looks like a trailer park Sandra Bernhard.

Anthony Cirami: Lmao this Case

Apple pie 🥧: Plaintiff has that paperwork in order. Even changed the Judges mind on the wages.

DMO1798: Couldn’t imagine being homeless, I can completely understand why she would say whatever she needed to not be homeless again but you can tell she was trying to remember what she said. Plaintiff was clear, precise and had the proof. Neither of the other 2 said anything about her trying to open the door to pet the dog lol, nice try but even still the dog bit her in your home ‍♂️

Bob Dobbs: Plaintiff is ready and organized with all her evidence. That's the way to do it.

Cl Simmons: The defendants are lying, but the plaintiff is just a whiner.

Carla B.: HOLY SMOKES THE DEFENDANT IS A LOST CAUSE. That's it that's all. ‍♀️

Sir Augustus: An idiot that can't take responsibility with a big dog from a breed that is generally one of the more difficult to train. This is not the last time someone is going to get hurt.

Janna: And she has the audacity to wear a cross necklace how embarrassing

Unruly Sinner: Too old to be lying ‍♀️‍♀️

Too Sense: Defendant should be ashamed wearing that cross around her neck while lying in court. Smh

indoorcat: The defendant said she witnessed the bite cause she was in the room with them. Then she said she went to the kitchen and the plaintiff got bit once she entered the defendant.s room. Can't even keep track of her own lies.

Kenneth Marrow: I have a close friend who has a Yorkie. Whenever I visit, as soon as I sit down on the couch, it jumps up and gets in my face, making me uncomfortable.Once, I sat down on the sofa and I heard something go squeak. I pulled it from under me, and I held it up and said to my friend, wtf is this?!" In an instant, the dog lunged at me , growling attack my hand. it nipped my fingers causing minor wound and pain. I backhanded it, knocking it to the floor. It retreated underneath the coffee table, barking and bobbing in and out like it was going to make a second attack. My friend who witnessed the whole thing yelled at me, "WTF you hit my dog?!" I was so pissed off, I kicked the table over, sending everything on it flying. I could hear those barks turn to yelps as I stormed out of there.
