Our Perfect Summer Style + Protecting The Hair While Swimming

Hey guys welcome back to my channel in today's video I'm going to be showing you what we've been doing to J Lo's hair over this summer. So she has not been wearing any cute fancy hairstyles over the summer, because she's been in the pool at least three times a week, and I just felt like it'll, be a waste of my time to try to stop her hair in a cute little style. Because the pool would just mess up the hair style anyway, so this is what we've been doing to her hair over the summer. She'S just been wearing these little individual braids. Some people call them braids. Some people call them plants, but I call them individual braids, but this is what she's been wearing over the summertime. It'S just really simple is really easy. The water does not really affect how it looks and actually the odor that this hair song gets the better. It looks in my opinion, but this particular hairstyle we normally let it stay in for at least two to three weeks. The first two weeks, she'll, have it down the third week, of course, is really frizzy that last week and we just wear it into either a 22 or hot bun and it still looks cute is just a little bit frizzy. But the pool is not a natural hair friendly at all. If I feel like it makes Jayla's hair really dry and really brittle. So once she comes out the pool that night, I make sure to go wash it. I don't shine, pull it because her scalp is not dirty. It'S just her strands need extra moisture into them, so I just rinsed out her hair, really good make sure all the chlorine is out, and I really moisturizing conditioner to her hair. Some of my favorite conditioners to do this with is awesome, voice mega moist conditioner, and I like to use yellow hydration by her buds and since those are both really good conditioners and both very moisturizing. It comes in a really big bottle. They'Re, like five dollars or under a piece but yeah, they're, really good at detangling and really good at adding motion to do is here. As I said, I don't shampoo. I just do a really good co, washing her hair and she's good to go until the next full day over the course of this summer. I believe I've started her like this about five times so and every time you do it is usually in a different style. So sometimes she likes to wear it down, but for this particular video we're gon na do half of it down and half of it in the South Lawn itself, because that's what she requested so, of course, is what I'm going to do. As you can see. I'Ve already parted it from ear to ear and the bottom part I'm just gon na be braiding those braids going straight down nothing, fancy and then once that's finish, I'm going to move to the top and braid those going in the direction after a ponytail, I've tried Just about every hairstyle you can think about years ago I was trying all different kinds of styles, trying to figure out what would be the best for us while swimming or on vacation, and this was a result. I'Ve tried two strand twists like don't do too sure and twists on a vacation or in the water going swimming because they will unravel, they will met and they will become tangled and they'll. Give you a headache like don't do two strand twists in the water for swimming we've also tried braided ponytails. They aren't bad as far as upkeep goes, but it's just such a large amount of hair and the ponytails. It is the nightmare to detangle. When you get ready to watch them so every time I know this is going to go swimming or we go on vacation to the beach or somewhere where water is involved. This is the hairstyle that we do. Last year we went to Destin Florida and I did the same hairstyle, but they were a lot smaller. Hairstyle because I made them so small, but these braids are a lot bigger, they're, a lot larger, because I don't really have a lot of time. I work with here, but that is all I have for this video.
