First of all, how did you get scissors on a plane? Second of all, you just committed the tort of battery not talking about criminal battery. The tort battery is defined as intentionally causing harmful or offensive contact to somebody. This person could sue you for money damages, so she could sue me, but how much could she really get for just cutting her hair? Well, i don't know every situation is going to be different. What if she was a model and she relied on her hair for business? What if she was getting married next week and you cutting her hair, cause extreme mental anguish? Should she put her hair over the seat? No, but i think you went a little above and beyond, with the hair, cutting

Andres Cisneros: Bruh imagine if humans could develop a way of communication through a series of sounds to let each other know what they needed in a professional and courteous manner.

Peh Zheng Ying: “Someone's hair is covering your screen , what do I do?" Google : kindly ask her to move her hair out of the way Bing : fuck up her hair

marshall branin: I really hate TikTok’s attitude that if something is mildly annoying them they think they’ve got a right to go to such extreme lengths such as this

Chester: "Do you hate it when an innocent passenger fell asleep on your arm and you shoot em with a gun for exchange?"

Ultra Fire: For those who didn’t know, you can have scissors on an airplane (in the US) IF they are less than 4inches from the pivot point. (And I believe you have to declare them with the airline.)

Incomplete River: “How did you get scissors on a plane” TSA: *looks other way*

Nicole: I was physically and emotionally abused as a child. Throughout all of the severe physical abuse, one of the things that affected me the most, and still does to this day, even after years of therapy, was having all of my hair cut off. I couldn't look in a mirror for months, and even after I could, all i could do was cry. I started wearing clip in extensions when it was long enough to cover them up and ended up with large bald patches all over my head because I would never take them out. I struggled for years, losing and damaging what little hair I had left in an attempt to cover everything up. I was disgusted. I was terrified I would lose what little hair I had left, but, I just couldn't stop trying to cover up everything. Its been years. My hair is now down to my butt, and decently healthy. I have crazy split ends, though, because I'm still too terrified of cutting my hair, even the tiniest bit. There are people who have lost their hair during medical treatments or to illnesses and spent years trying to grow it back. It may seem like "just hair" to you, but, for some people, it's a lot more than that. If someone were to cut my hair, especially without my permission, I genuinely would not be able to handle it. It would feel like being right back where I was all over again. Like i lost everything i took so long to gain back. Like ill never be safe again because it doesn't matter how far i am from my past, things from it can still happen to me again. Please dont do this to someone. Its not just hair for a lot of us. If someone's hair is in your way, please just say excuse me or tap them on the shoulder and let them know! They will move it out of your way (and most likely didnt even realize it was in your way in the first place)

TheHybrid: This is why I wear a head covering on a plane or if I am out somewhere and might fall asleep. I have hip length hair after 7 years of growing it out from chin length because of sentimental reasons for someone close to me. I am not religious, not worried about germs or dirt particularly. Saw a video like this once years ago and another about hair theft in some Asian countries and the paranoia hit hard.

Johanna Sweet: I have the kind of curly hair that grows outwards until long enough and then beyond that, grows down like everyone else’s. I’ve dealt with severe insecurity about my “clown hair” (heard that one a lot from classmates) and my “rat’s nest” (my mother’s favorite term whenever speaking about my hair) for years until it finally got long enough to weigh my curls down and make them looser and more flow-y. I already have a phobia of going to the hair cutter’s because I have asked for trims that have resulted in half of my (abundant) length being cut off in the past. Istg if anyone cuts my hair without me knowing they will feel the same collective pain that I felt because of my hair, on their face :)

Pouncingpuma7: Yeah but having internet clout is more important than having respect and dignity and common sense.

Danielle S: I don't get why they didn't just move the person's hair

Skye: There was actually a crime of "serial cutting" which was multiple women getting their hair randomly got cut when passing the street, especially if they have long hair.

Jess’ Perspective: “Should she flip it over the seat? No” she probably didn’t even notice or mean to

Early Morning Gray: When I was in school I was bullied pretty badly, at one point the kids held me down and cut my hair. I went to the police and they told me I couldn’t file charges against them. I ended up just moving.

Mikasa Ackerman: **pushes hair out of the way** khaby lame: ‍♂️

John R: Plot twist: She does this every time she needs a haircut.

Jade Annabel: I remember a story where this girl had a lot of trouble growing her hair, and was really proud of how long it had gotten. One of the bullies got jealous op was partnered with the bullies boyfriend for a science class, snuck up behind her and cut her hair. BF dumped her because he was sick of her psychotic behaviour, and stood with OP in court because dang right op sued over that. (It didn't help the bullies mum caused such a scene over 'her poor baby' and faked evidence.)

Skele Puns: I've always brought scissors with me while flying because I always bring a sewing kit. They just have to be under a certain length.

max: A buddy of mine was traveling from overseas and his kid brought his school bag with a bunch of sharp and pointy objects in it like a geometry set, scissors and a pocket knife...till this day I still don't know how they made it pass inspection lol

Owen: Be dangerous around tik toc influencers. You never know what they might do to you for views lol

H: "Excuse me ma'am, your hair is blocking the screen." There, fixed it for ya.

MrFancyPants: Literally common sense would've been me just gentle moving the hair to the side, or kindly asking this lady to move her hair. But cutting? That's ridiculous! I'd even wait for the flight attendant(trained professional) to handle it

Zappababe: This would be classed as "Actual Bodily Harm" in the UK; I remember a case about a woman cutting a child's hair against her will (not her child and the child's mother wasn't pleased)

Crows Arch: Imagine being them and not thinking you could just move the hair over the seat or wake them to ask them if they could move it.

Anthony Hernandez: If you cut my hair over something as minor as that…. We’re throwing hands bro

mackenna noelle: I shouldn't be laughing this hard at "HOW DID YOU GET SCISSORS ON A PLANE"

Anomaly: I like that. Wish everyone could explain; simple, fast and easy to hear explanation

Pixie Bubbles: In my state of Arizona, it's illegal to cut hair without a license. Even if it's yourself cutting your own hair. It's a minor law, and isn't enforced much if at all, but it still exists probably for situations like this.

danvexwx: My sister brought scissors on a plane, although we've been stopped. It happened in Frankfurt, Germany and my sister is 10, but that isn't the reason we were stopped, however. The scissors were less than 10cm if I'm not wrong, after which the blade is considered illegal

Ballowall: All I can say is if that were real in most cases money damages might have been nothing compared to the physical damages he'd incur when she and potentially the people with her realized what happened.

Onion Zest: The shinyness and stickiness of it leads me to believe that it is a wig.

OptimusPhillip: Alternative solutions -Ask her to move her hair -Ask a flight attendant to get her to move her hair -Move her hair yourself -Accept that it's not worth the effort or potential harm and ensueing lawsuit to watch an in flight movie -Literally anything but the selfish, immature and highly illegal act of cutting hair off without consent

Scouty: Is our generation really that scared of confrontation that they willing to do this instead of just wake someone up and tell them to move?

Martin Zuniga: As a frequent flyer. I've never seen someone's hair cover the screen Im just going to go out on a limb and say this was staged

Schmlif: It's literally easier to ask someone nicely then to sneak scissors onto a plane

HECTICL0VE: Person next to them: “I’m just gonna pretend I didn’t see that”

Jaime Jimenez: “It depends on the situation”, yeah and also the lawyer she has

LargescreenZ: Imagine cutting someone's hair without their permission bc they slightly inconvenienced you. Screw just asking her to move it, right?

Fine Natural Hair ROCKS: LOL! As a fellow attorney, I would agree that cutting the woman's hair to view the screen would likely not pass the reasonable person test... just saying.. ‍♀️

AlbusDumbledore: "How did you get scissors on a plane?" Sounds like a spinoff of Snakes on a plane "Scissors on a plane: part 1"

Xxx xxX: There have been reports of female concentration camp victims in WW2 Germany saying that their most traumatic experience was when they cut off all their hair.

Mister C: I was ab to say “Yo this dude should be a lawyer” and then I saw “Attorney Tom”

RUFFR4BB1T: Honestly this also falls into the line of “don’t touch people without permission” bc even if you can’t feel anything from it it’s still touching someone else’s being

exotech: I have made it through tsa with a pocket knife several times. Even went and placed it in the tray with my wallet and keys. It was finally on this last trip they stopped me for it. Told them to just trash it, I got a plane to catch.

Stephen Dean: Why didn’t she just move the woman’s hair like bruh that would have been so much easier

rye: Or maybe she's not got something important but she's going through something and you just made it worse. I was starting to get depressed when I was about 10-11 yrs old and started pulling my hair out. By the time I was 12 I had a big bald patch on my for head and top of my head and bc of my hair I got massive anxiety and didn't leave my house. I did that to myself but it still made my life alot harder. This was someone else doing it and you had no control over it. That's not fair. Or maybe that person has had cancer and has spent years growing it back?

rooksdb1: "first of all, HOW DID YOU GET SCISSORS ON A PLANE?!" that's probably the most important question here

catrathekittycat: We literally have a mouth so we can communicate and say "huh hello could you not put your hair over the seat please" and if she sais no, you just signal a flight attendant and ask them "I've told that person not to put their hair over the seat and they did it anyway, could you help me?" Chances are the flight attendant is gonna tell the person to stop being a damn baby and its gonna stop. Instead this dude is gonna get sued.. and for what... a freaking cartoon on a small ass screen.. come on

Lemontarts01: In Germany cutting somebody elses hair without permission counts as "Körper verletzung" Which translates eoighly to "Body harm" What is that in English? Assault? Or straight up physical harm?

Kaelan Ward: I've been growing my hair out for six years. If someone cut my fucking hair without my consent... You're gonna hear about it from a lawyer.

Rachael Beaver: I have had a lock of my hair cut off by some asshole on a city bus, he is now in jail. I was not his only victim, thankfully he was caught. There is no excuse for cutting someone else's hair!

The Captain: I was on a long flight from Los Angles to Dubai and two hours into the flight a little girl did this same sh*t to me while I was trying to watch a movie. I asked her mom politely to let her little girl know what was happening and swear she said to me, deal with it. I called the flight attendant and showed her what was going on and she also said it’s just little girl and I should stop making big deal of it. It went on for another five hours till the girl fall asleep. I complained and after six weeks later got a full refund and an apology. Crazy world we live in these days. I guess this happens more often than I thought. Whatever happened to be courteous to one another?

Haley: Why wouldn't you just wake her up and say "excuse me ma'am can you move your hair" her hair could be super important to her. That was an asshole thing to do

Concept Creator: I am more like: wtf!!!! Just ask her to move it! (Potentially fake? I mean who randomly has scissors with them on a plane? And the person not noticing)

Gopika Murali: If you saw the whole video then you would know she did it multiple times on purpose even after pushing it back each time.

Bangtan Shorts: If someone ever cut my hair I would be ready to file for a lawyer, to be honest.

Hshsjja: If someone cut my hair, I would definitely be in jail

Jamie Mitten: Be aware of your surroundings, as well as where all parts of your body &/ clothing are. When in close quarters with others, be hyper-aware of these things. If you notice someone who is not doing the above and it's causing a problem for you, say something to them. Most of the time it's quickly rectified, but in those rare instances where the person is just an ass about it... fair game!

Little Big Cubing: My dad’s uncle was a pilot and a few weeks after 9/11 he was stopped for having nose trimming scissors, he said, “I AM THE PIOLIT! I COULD CRASH THE PLANE!” He was on a paid leave for a few months

Call of the Beastlands: A million times better then legal eagle, thanks for the info man.

Za ynsy: woww you really open our eyes mr attorney, really didnt know that, but i dont think people dare to do stuff towards other hair just like that especially cutting it or some other thing like playing with them or tie them, strangers will think they are freak

Izaya: I had hair down to my knee caps and it was kinda annoying so I cut it but if anyone that was not someone I knew or trusted cut even an inch of my hair... it won't end well. I wouldn't hurt them personally, I'd just try and get them sued.

Meishiate -: so if that girl in kindergarten had actually cut my hair I could’ve sued her? Dang I might be rethinking life Decisions

drdaep: Aside From the scissors part. This video makes me hate lawyers even more and gives a perfect example of how they feed into the US is a litigious society. The lady could file a lawsuit, but mark my words, this lawyer would make more money from fees

Greg Busby: I wish people would spend a few days in jail for that. It would take me around a year (probably) to grow that.

Reign Garcia: Even if it was real She could easily move her hair if “she was dead asleep”

Geode Mcgee: I love that he awnsers these literally even when that shine of a wig is strong

CheezitsChrist: “I don’t know, every situation is going to be different.” Yep, he’s a lawyer.

Digitalgaming [CTCC]: Cutting someone's hair to watch something stupid IN A PLANE, that's quite next level.

kikisweetie 🍍 ☀️: I accidentally snuck scissors onto a plane before. We told the flight attendant and she was really shocked. We gave them to her so we can't get in trouble tho.

Glendamary: She couldn’t just part the hair in half and expose the screen? Geez people get mad about anything whatever happened to patience and kindness

jnie swartz: That’s messed up. I would have sued and call the cops.

Carter C: honestly if they can cut her hair without her noticing, couldn’t they just put her hair over instead?

Kimberly Carrigan: I'm a knitter, and I have no problem bringing scissors, needles, and hooks on planes. It's even in the list of allowed items.

Eli Lindsay: You could've just moved her hair over like wtf if you cut my hair, even if I was being rude, we'd fight for real. You don't do that to anyone

Christiane M.: I heard before cutting hair in Japan without the owners permission is very illegal

Black Skull: It took me more than halfway and a quarter to realize that she didn't put a wig over her seat and cut the hair of a real life person

♡Vladdy daddy♡: She literally could've just asked her to move her hair, and if she didn't then she could've got a flight attendant to ask her. If this is real she's literally crazy

theresa rathell: Ah,lawyers where would we be without them

Zayne Gonzalez: I actually took scissors on a plane. It was in my jacket pocket. I even didn't know it was there.

cyber panda: i’ve gotten scissors on a plane before, they were in a pencil bag in my backpack.

neverlookback: So wait all this time I didn't know when my parents shaved my head in my childhood and I didn't want it...I could have actually done something about it

justaperson: When you have long hair sometimes it’s an accident. I accidentally did that and the person said hey your hair smells nice(as a joke I’m sure they didn’t actually smell my hair) and I was mortified to have accidentally do that. I moved my hair and apologized. I would 100% sue if someone cut my hair

Kylie Fruehling: You’d be surprised what you can slip through security, I accidentally brought pepper spray on the flight to my vacation and again went through security, nth happened, on my way back home, went through security, nth happened, after I went through security I looked through my bag for smth and saw my pepper spray and just kinda stared at it thinking “why am I not locked up rn?” If they allow pepper spray for protection that could be it but you can still attack someone with pepper spray but before you board a plane, there’s a sign that has a list of items that can’t be on board and one of them is pepper spray because it can explode from the pressure of the plane.

Cosmic_Caveman 94: Respect for all the balding or bald guys and women out there who have to face the reality of loosing their hair . I think society doesn’t realise that hair means a lot to us guys just as much as to women . I have long curly hair but receding at the temples slowly and I’m dreading when it has to be looped off if I’m being honest .

Nila Christine: I just took the bar and this is triggering me lol I don’t think I’m ready for legal TikTok yet, still need some healing

standrew: I don't know why, but I don't feel sorry for her, and I have hair down past my butt. Oh yeah, it actually takes effort to flip one's hair over the seat like that, not to mention it's rude, and inconsiderate, because not everyone wants to see hair blocking their video screen, or whatever. Yeah, I still wouldn't feel sorry for her.

Draconic Demigod: "First of all how did you get scissors on a plane?" -Tom asking all the right questions. Edit: I didn't expect this many likes and comments. Thank you all.

The Best Kuroo Tetsuro: I don't have long hair but lets say I do....it takes EXTREME MEASURES for me to grow it to a length that could even be straightened out (I'm black) That was like 3 years worth of hair growth for me. And let me say this If ya wanna tiktok famous I'll make sure your get your fame. As the reason why TSA now won't allow Barbie dolls on a plane!

Freak NLH: Maybe they already tried to get her hair out of the way but she kept doing this so they waited till she feel asleep and got revenge

Kato-San38: Is what she deserves

iiKamaii: Right, could've just moved her hair over .... Imagine being the girl and just waking up to a fresh new cut

Swishy: Even if it was a wig, the dude just made himself look like a complete idiot

Lanz: I bought inside a plane a scissor and a tweezer twice in my sling bag. I wasn't even touched by security

queer libtard hippie: I get scissors on the plane all the time lmfao I didn't know they were banned

tree arms: Some people take ages to get their hair to a certain length,if that was her case then she'd take a long time to get it even again.poor lady.

Poopy poop Poop: So you tellin me I could sue my barber every time I don’t like the hair cut?

Oix: How other people do it: ask the person to move their hair Some people: moves hair themselves This person: off it comes ✂️

ELLEEEE: Who just cuts some random lady’s hair off Especially without permission and ON A PLANE

Elisheva Starzynski: My hair don't grow anymore that much and I constantly lose them due a illness. Also, I'm really emotional so if someone I would have done this to me I would have felt guilty for life
