Maintaining Hair While Vacationing

Please hello welcome back to everything Nina, thank you for joining in today. So, as you guys know, I'm going on the Oasis of the Seas next year of 2023.. Now the countdown is on it's four months till Cruise time, but I wanted to touch base because I did get a comment in one of my other videos about um. You know hair about hair and what style should be worn when you go. You know in General on vacation, but in particular cruising - and I appreciate that young lady asking me - you know some feedback on it, so I just wanted to hop on and just go over some of the things um about that. So personally I always say to each his own. You know where what you feel more comfortable in - and I always say that to anyone. So my thing is when I went on a cruise years ago, a couple years ago, um I did get my hair braided um for that cruise it was a seven night cruise and honestly, let's give it it was 50 50.. It was good because I didn't have to worry about styling it or whatever, but the downside was um being that my hair was pulling a little bit in the back. I was developing a little bit of bumps due to the hair pulling um and my scalp was a little itchy. So since then, last time I just decided just to go just with my natural hair and that's basically what it is in the state of it is now. You know a wise blow dry and curl my hair. So that's basically what I'm going to do. You know for now on for vacationing um, so one of the questions was, how did I maintain my hair and basically honestly, I did little to nothing. I just basically, you know I did all the activities I got in the water on the beach. I did the pool I did the hot tub and it just basically maintained its natural state. However, yes, I did have you know my roots come up a little bit and then my edges, but that was okay. I it didn't entail me of going to redo my style and and doing all this extra stuff. So this time around, when I go on the cruise um next year in the beginning of next year of 2023, I'm just gon na wear my hair. Just like such um, I may put some curls in it and and again and if that does not work, the whole seven nights that I'm on that cruise then I plan on doing a wet and go like a wet style and go um, maybe braiding my hair Up overnight and then taking it out the next day and then giving that crinkly, you know, type of effect or even just putting it in the bun. It'S so many styles, women that we can do we. We got this foreign, so I wouldn't even make your hair a priority. Yes, you want to look nice do such, but I wouldn't overthink it do. What makes you you, if that makes sense, do what makes you feel comfortable? You don't have to do anything or extravagant me. I personally like this better because even when I go to the main dining room or the specialty dining restaurants, I can like you know even Jazz up my hair a little bit. Maybe I can do some little twist up and whatever you can make it, how you want to make it, so I wouldn't stress too much about it always bring your products, always bring your shampoos, your conditioners and your moisturizers, because the shampoo and conditioners that the cruise Line provides, I don't think if to each his own, every hair type is different. So for me personally, it doesn't do any justice for me because one time I did run out of my shampoo and conditioner, because some of my shampoo did drop in the in the shower itself. Oh, so that's why I went so fast and I end up using some of theirs and I didn't like it. I didn't like how my hair felt it didn't feel um as moisturized. It didn't feel as soft. It was more dry and I was like Ugh so again just make sure you pack your your your own hair products, just in case you had to touch it up or do whatever, but I hope that information helped. I just wanted to get on and um give you that Insight on what I do some of my tricks into so my hair um.
