Hey y'all and welcome back to my channel in today's video i'm going to show you six tips on how to get your toddler to sit still and cooperate while styling their hair. We know it can be challenging so without further ado, let's get into it. Okay, so my first tip is to set the environment. I make sure that before getting started with his hair, he's distracted, so i usually schedule his breakfast and tv time at this time of day, which is in the morning, and i usually also have some toys and books as well tip number two is to make sure That all of your products are nearby you. We don't have time to be moving back and forth, trying to get products that we forgot make sure you have everything with you once you get started. So one additional tip that i wanted to throw out. There is to make sure that you're using water before you add any product to the hair, it makes the detangling process so much easier. So tip number three is to know the time of day that you are going to consistently do your baby's hair. I try to get his hair done pretty early in the day. This is because he has relatively low energy still around this time and he's still fairly calm, so tip number four is to finger detangle as much as possible. I like to finger detangle with water and product before using his detangling brush. It makes the process go by so much smoother and quicker, so tip number five involves using the brush. So when i'm using the brush, i try to hold his hair down to the scalp. So that if any tangles arise he's not feeling it too much, i hope that made sense. So basically, here he's starting to become a little restless. That'S okay, give him some time to recuperate and get it together and then proceed, and so here you see us getting it together. You see the smile come again. Okay, y'all tip number six know your baby's tender spots, so this is the most important one for me. I know that the sides and the back of his head are the most tender. So i know what to expect, but just be patient, try to distract from the hair situation as much as possible redirect their attention and it's okay, they're going to move they're babies they're not made to sit still right. Another suggestion, if you have an older toddler, maybe give them a little break, so just so y'all know i'm not pulling on his hair or anything i'm trying to move quickly, because this is the part where we usually have our run-ins, and so i'm trying to be Patient with him, and i'm trying to do it quickly, so that we can be one and done so we're pretty much finished here, i'm just going in one last time to define his curls, but i still need him to cooperate with me for a little bit longer. So i'm giving him a book so that he can go ahead and make himself busy, as i finish up, all right y'all. That is a wrap. We just finished another successful here day. If you have a child and you're struggling to get them to sit, still. Definitely leave a comment down below so that i can give you some advice. Please please, like comment and subscribe to help me keep growing and as always, thank you for watching and until my next video peace

Doctormycurls: That tip about holding the base so he doesn’t feel the tangles is KEY! I still do that for myself and I’m a whole adult . He’s such a cutieee! And his curls are POPPIN

Lena Melanista: Oh yeah he big chillen!!! He’s too adorable and I just love his curls!! great tips!

Nicole Ivory: I used to only be able to do my sons hair while he was sleep lol. These are great tips!

Court Charesse: He was such a good big boy! Good job mama!

Sistas Bonafide: First and foremost, he is just a little king! He definitely asked to be set free lol, he looked up like "momma really?" lol. Great job, Mom! Amazing tips to pass along!

Atlas Noire: Curl twins ! Love it !

Marcus Raynal: Great video! What products do you use to get and keep his hair so moisturized?! Because my baby boy’s hair is EXTREMELY curly and dries VERY fast. Regardless of what products mom and I try. He has about as much hair as your baby boy. We’d have to have 2/3 detangling and moisturizing sessions for his hair to look like this all day.

Nicole Wilson: This is awesome. I have a two year old and nothing is working. He sees the hair supplies and runs.

Lena Melanista: My son will usually sit if I have a show on for him and snack available LOL.

Doctormycurls: Heyyy!! Why am I excited to see nephew let’s get into it!! BRB..

دودى ستار كيتشن: Really fun to watch this video I wish you happiness always my permanent friend

YahKaloni Kyree Yisrael: Please help!! My daughter just turn 16 months and he absolutely hates getting her hair done. I’ve been thinking about just cutting it off because it gets tangled up and linty yet she rarely lets me combs it out even when she’s full and watching her tv show. I can’t even do it when she’s sleeps because she moves around while I’m doing it even then. I’m ready to just throw a summer hat on her and call it a day, but I don’t want her hair to get matted. What should I do? Maybe buy a detangler and a certain brush?

Court Charesse: He really is your little twin

Eva' Collins: I tried different techniques and he just want let me but his babysitter and his big cousin say he sit still for them. Why not me though ?
