Testing Red Hair Dyes | Which One Is The Best?

How long are they supposed to last now i want to do something crazy, hello, everybody. Today we are going to be testing out three different red hair dyes to see how well they look against one another and also how easily they wash out. Let'S do it so i have three bleached one time: hair extensions. This is what the hair extensions looked previously. So if your hair is this brown color, then one bleach should get you here on virgin hair. First we'll try out my favorite manic panic. This is manic. Panic infrared, it is a semi-permanent hair, color cream manic. Panic is vegan and cruelty free. They do have two different red colors, the other one is vampire red, but this one is infrared. I'M just really curious to see how each one of these look on this blonde hair, because i myself want to read one day. I know i just been blonde, but i'm already thinking months in the future - and i know i want to do red at some point. It would make my eyes pop okay. I know that if i put red on this hair it would look red red, but i want to know what it would look like on bleached one time hair. You know the consistency, prime. It reminds me of like halloween fake blood. Oh my! Is that not so satisfying now, because these extensions are freshly bleached. This hair should absorb the dye really really well, i'm no hair salon expert, but i believe that's how that works. Oh yeah, oh that's! Gon na be pretty that's gon na, be so pretty i'm just gon na like coat it so much more than i feel like i need to. Oh, my goodness. If i were to guess, if you were doing your entire head red, you would probably need at least one and a half of these. Let everyone know how many of these it took to do your whole head save a life for the second extension. We are going to be testing out good dye, young semi-permanent hair color in rock lobster. Now goods are young fun fact for you. If you don't know good day, young is actually made from paramores hayley williams. She is a legend and was very well known for her, always having amazing hair colors. All of her hair dyes are all named after, like famous songs. So if you never heard rock lobster, i only know it because it's on rock band, but it's a pretty groovy song ew. Why did i just say groovy? What am i old, groovy song anyways? It goes brock lobster. It works out good if you have the keyboard on rockin anywho, so i've used the yellow before from good day young and it smelled pretty good. So we'll see what this one smells like. Oh yeah! Oh that's, the one! Oh yes, oh! This is gon na, be something rock lava lobster. This dye isn't as thick as manic. Panic is spreads really easily. Oh yeah, oh yeah, just gon na make sure it's fully saturated there. She is looking pretty good. This one definitely looks a little bit lighter than the manic panic infrared i feel like this might be a little like more on the orange side, but when we wash it out we'll see for the last extension we are doing, i still don't know how to say This name it's like i, i wrote iro hero ero. This is 90 red. I recently used this company's green on my billy eilish wig transformation came out really really good. It wasn't as bright as i thought it would be, but i was looking for more like neon anyways and that's hard to find. So, let's see how well the red does. Oh, my gosh, oh it kind of looks pink, are my eyes. Okay, does this look kind of pink to you, huh yeah? This is red. Oh oh, my gosh. This feels like paint. This literally feels like paint on my hands. I honestly, i don't know if it's my eyesight right now, but this looks very pink to me. Could just be me, but this looks pink i'm going to let these dies sit in the extension for 30 minutes and then i'm going to wash them out just wash them out with water until the water runs clear and then we'll see how they look. Okay, it has been 30 minutes and these are what the extensions look like so manic, panic good, die young and iro iro. This is what each one of the extensions look like side by side. I ro iro good day, young and manic panic. These two definitely look very similar, but this iro i go came through this said. Look at how bright we are. These are a vibe honestly, all of them left the same texture. They all feel pretty like conditioned from the dye. I guess the ends still feel pretty healthy, i mean as healthy as it can be after bleaching. Of course, that's so weird, i thought there would be a huge difference in, of course, not just color, but also texture, and all of them feel like really good. So all these dyes are semi-permanent, and now i just want to know what they look like after a couple washes, because all i did was wash them out with water, and now i want to see what they look like after a couple rounds of shampoo. We'Ll do three shampoo washes for each and we'll see what they look like. Then, okay, not gon na lie it dyed my fingers just a touch just from washing it out with shampoo. It'S fine i'll live, but this is what, after three washes. This is what the extensions look like, not bad. I think, if anything, this middle one, which is good, die young, it looks like it did, fade a little bit more than the other ones. Did this one looks the most different than it did in the beginning? I don't know how often y'all wash your hair with shampoo and i didn't even use like a color, safe shampoo. I use like a cheap dove. Three dollar shampoo, okay, this brand came out a pink color like while i was shampooing it it literally. The water was pink and these other two good day young and manic panic both of them washed out, like an orange, i don't know. Do you shampoo, like once a week what's normal now, i forget yeah like once a week right, people shampoo like once a week. So, like three weeks, this is like a month. Let'S do three more washes a total of six shampoos. Let'S see what these extensions look like. Okay, listen, i'm kind of amazed right now, after six washes. What literally, what these still looks so good, like am i blind? Are these not so red still. I know these did fade but, like i don't know what i was picturing, i was like six washes. That'S gon na. Do it. Oh, it's gon na be gone. I was wrong. Semi-Permanent really does mean semi-permanent this time. I could definitely tell how much the iro iro brand had come out, because this definitely looks a lot lighter red than it did before and still in the light to me, it looks pink a little just a tint of pink. It still does, especially next to these two goods are young still going strong this one. If anything, this one to me looks the most like orange tinted and manic. Panic is still doing fine. This one also, i can see more like orange, coming through, instead of just like straight red, you know: how long are they supposed to last now? I want to do something crazy and let me tell you i was scrubbing. I was like this is definitely coming out. This time, no no none of it did. Let'S do something crazy. How many more should we do? Hmm, that's six. Mathematical. 10 nah. I feel like that's not good enough. I feel like we should get to 15 washes, let's do 15.. Once again, i am shook absolutely shook after 15 washes like if you dye your hair with any of these dyes, and you wash your hair 15 times with not even like shampoo, that's not even for people who have just colored their hair you're. Fine, you don't need a touch-up or anything if anything, this one's the good die young hair. If anything, this one faded the most in a way that it doesn't still look as red as it did before. Manic panic right here, going strong, looks a little faded, but it's still the same red. Oh my god, and then we have the iro iro. This one also faded, but it's still the same tint of red, slash pink. I mean, i think i think it looks pink. I am absolutely shook, i don't know what to say. I have no words. I genuinely thought that they were all gon na look terrible by now and they don't all of these dyes. Pretty solid, all are cruelty. Free. All of these are vegan all of them. Of course, all that really matters is the type of red that you want your hair to look, whether you want it to be more vibrant, more like casual or a deeper red. Personally, i think i would do this one. I think the eyebrow eyebrow one is, is my color? Oh, my god love it. Well, i hope if this helps some of you decide which dye you want to use for your own hair, and now you know that you can shampoo at least 15 times. At least i would keep going if i wanted to my back kind of hurts, because i did this for a very long time while camera was off.
