A channel so today's video is gon na, be on how I dye my hair at home. So right now all the songs are closed. I'M sure a lot of you will have to do your hair at home, and maybe you've never done this before so. Hopefully, this video will be helpful, so I use professional hair dye songho I'll talk about this in a minute, but because I knew probably everything was gon na close and went and I purchase all everything I needed before. But if you cannot buy a professional hair dye I'll leave a few websites down below, they actually have this brand on Amazon and a few other places. But if you just want to use box diet at the drugstore I'll, give you a few tips on like how to pick your perfect color. If you usually don't buy hair dye and also if you have a gray hair, definitely stay tuned, because I you I mean, obviously you cannot see right now, but I'm like 70 percent gray. I mean I don't know why I'm showing you cuz, I covered it, but I'll give you my personal tips on how I cover my gray hair. So I've been coming my hair for about six years now. So all my videos before I want to say 2014, that was my natural color and then I believe I started dyeing in 2014. So after that I've had many many different colors. Now a lot of people often like comment on my old pictures, my old videos, and they asked me like what hair color had now, it's very hard for me just to be like. Oh, I was this color because I've tried many many different tones. I often play with the tones of my hair, so, throughout the years of me dye, my hair, I pretty much have a video for every new sort of color I've had throughout the year so leave my hair playlist down below. If you want to know like, let's say, you're watching a video from 2017, I have a video in 2017. I did a video on how I done my hair. It was probably that kind of colors. So what you have to keep in mind so my hair right now all of this is like bleached, and so when I dye my hair, it will turn out a color, but then in a couple of washes, it will fade really really quickly. So just keep that in mind this color in a few weeks will look totally different. So personally, I like my hair, to be very warm. So when I first started dyeing my hair, I naturally the warm pigment to my hair and I did not like it. So I would color my hair with the very ashy color, but now I always choose wire colors, because that's just what works best on me and that's just what I like so the past few months. I actually had like a very kind of burgundy color that faded to a more copper color cuz. As I said, my hair is bleached. So when my hair fades, it fades a little differently than if my hair was just my natural color, so yeah that color was really nice, but it was very red, especially under the Sun. It was quite red so I'll leave that video down below. If you wan na see how I did that that color, I really liked it, but I wanted something that was just a bit more neutral like so warm but more neutral, because I wanted to be able to wear it red and I feel like with my other Hair color, I couldn't really so yeah, let's get let's get started with the cards that I got so I've been using ego ha quiet ever since I started dyeing my hair many years ago. It'S pretty much always the brand I've used. Now, when I was blonde last year, when I was trying to be blonde, I tried different brands, but honestly now I'm spectating a hot way out and it's my favorite brand. I always use a permanent hair color on when I have my brown hair. If you have blonde hair, is it's a different story, but I just personally want. First of all, I have a great hair, so I have to use a permanent color. Some people don't recommend permanent color, for if you don't have to cover any gray, some people say permanent colors too harsh. Personally, I just find permanent color to be way more rich I'll. Give you like a much richer color. In my opinion, if it's a one you want to cover gray, hair and gray, hair is actually very hard to cover. You need to use first of all, a 20 volume developer or 30. Personally, I find 30 is way too harsh. My gray hair gets covered pretty well with a 28 developer and it's better to use a tone that is neutral. So this is what the hair color looks like. So first you have the six, which is the level of the hair color, and then you have the tone right beside so 0, for most brands usually means mutual. So, as you can see so I use a level 6. So my hair, I like it to be a level 5. I find five issues perfect. It'S not too dark, not too, not too late. So when it comes to ashy or neutral tones, a level 5 is gon na turn out much darker. So that's why I went down to a level 6 for my neutral color, because he actually looks more of 85. I know that's kind of complicated but yeah. I always prefer to go down in shade when I pick my my neutral shade and then since I, like some warmth in my hair, I picked a wild colors, so the lights I was just gon na use like a warm tone to cover my gray, my gray, Hair would be like super bright. It would be like bright copper. So that's why I need to mix it with a neutral color. Now, if you like your hair to be more neutral, then you just need to use a neutral color. It'S gon na cover your gray and it's also gon na dye, the rest of your hair, so the color that I chose is a level 5 68. So this is categorized as in light brown, chocolate red, so here so do guys. So a level 5. As I said, it's like a medium brown now it turns pretty dark on me. I would say my hair color looks more like a level of four before I was supposed to be in light brown, but it's usually never light brown level. Five. Is it's pretty dark? Okay, so I got a chocolate bread. Now personally, when I dye my hair, I prefer to go with the red like a chocolate red. A chocolate gold I find is not really what I'm looking for a chocolate gold is gon na, be so worn, but I don't know it's not really what I like. Obviously my hair doesn't look Fred, even in the sunlight, which I'll show you the footage. My hair doesn't look Craig, but it has a nice kind of rich red undertone to it, but it doesn't look right so yeah. This is what my hair looks like, actually really really like it. It is quite dark, but, as I wash my hair, the color will fade a little bit. I'M excited to see what its gon na look like. It'S really well covered, I'm like really happy with the way it covered. My gray like this is pretty good. Okay. Now for the actual measurements, so obviously it depends how much hair you have to cover it, but usually to do your roots. You need about like one tube of color, so I didn't half a tube of the six and half a tube of the 568, with 20 volume developer and I mix equal parts of all of those. Now I feel recommend getting a scale. It'S like 11 dollars on Amazon. It really changed my life when it comes to hair color. I can now easily measure, like the perfect amount of a very color and the amount of developer. I need so I'll leave that scale down below. It was really great bye and now for the length of my hair, I use a 10 volume because I back in the day I used to use a 20 volume for all my hair, but 20 volume is quite harsh and I don't need that when I just Want to basically deposit color on the rest of my hair, so I used again the 568 with a quarter of sigh mixed. I think it was half a tube of 568 in a quarter of the 6, and I did that with the 10 volume developers and yeah. I'M really really happy with the way this turned out. As I said, it is a little dark right now as it fades. Obviously, my hair will get lighter, but also the tone of my hair will become a little brighter, so you'll be able to see like the chocolate red a bit more. I got ta tell you something I could do. I could be running or at ECU, but I wanna if I got better better things to do as I spend my precious time chasing. Somebody who loves me too, if I got a dollar for every time you slam the door, I would be. The richest girl alive live life. If you hadn't run away every time. I ask astray who works in the beginning. I still don't know that you're an enemy, I hope so close now. I know you did everything to pull me, but you were not that guy. I thought now I'll be beating you what your own yeah. If I got a dollar for every time, you'll slam the door. I would be that richest girl alive. I just want to show you what my hair looks like in natural lighting. It'S a bit hard to see because direct sunlight, but, as you can see, let's say I was just in the Sun. This is kind of my hair color. I actually really really like it. I also really look. I also really like the way: freshly colored a hair. If he looks it feels so nice and healthy, I mean it's for sure, like a little dark, it makes me look a little pale which I'm counting anyways but um yeah. This is the color, it's not too red. I do like that. It'S just like a nice. Warm color, I do like it. I think it's a really yeah. I think it's a really nice color and it is quite dark, but I will wash my hair a few times and it will let in a lot so yeah, I'm pretty happy with them. Okay, here you can actually see I feel like now. You can see like what it looks like under the Sun. Okay, now, if you're gon na be buying your hair dye just at a drugstore, so there is actually an app from Garnier called the color match, app I'll leave it below I've done a couple Instagram posts promoting the app. So if you want to go see on the Instagram I'll leave it below, but basically you can try out all their different hair colors. It'S actually gon na take in consideration the color you're starting out with and then it will like add the color on top. If that makes any sense, so if you want to try any hair colors, definitely check out the app if you're, just at the store, and you want to figure out like what color to buy just by looking at like the numbers. First of all, the first thing you have to look at is the first number. Usually that will indicate the level. So this starts with the this. Color is for 10, but the level would be a level 4. So obviously, this color is blue, but it's a level 4 blue, so it's quite dark and then usually you'll. Look at the other numbers beside not. Obviously this is like a what's a call. This is a blue color, so it's it's a little different, but usually also the name will say like this is a dark indigo but, like let's say I used to use one from garnier. I'Ve actually used it before it was like a level 3. It was like 310, I think or 3/5 that was actually very, very dark I'll leave that video below, if you want to see actually my Hera was pretty much black. I don't remember the tone, but yeah, usually I'll, say like cool brown or like warm brown but yeah. Basically, if you're gon na be doing your hair with box dye, just look at the level. First, don't go too dark honestly, because, especially, I feel like box. Dye turns out even way darker, then you probably want to so don't go too dark and then just look at the tone beside is it worm? Is it cool if you want to neutralize your hair, if you heard, naturally it's very very warm you don't necessarily like that. Maybe go with a neutral shade or something that's the mole, a sure if your hair is very ashy and you want to bring in some work, just go with a color. That is very warm, so things like red, copper and gold will usually add some warm pigment in your hair and that will give you the desired color. Oh yeah definitely check out the Garnier app. It can be quite helpful if you want to see what the color would look like on you, but yeah. I feel like that was a lot of information. I hope it was clear if you have any questions, just leave them below, but yeah maybe take into consideration the color you're starting out with and the tone of your hair. So my hair underneath was actually quite red because I had been using a heard coder. That was very red, so if your hair is like really ashy and you're using this color, it might not turn the same. Just because I had something like very, very warm underneath you know what I mean and so yeah the best honestly is trial in the air, which is not really the best advice yeah, if this is gon na, be your first time doing your hat home. Good luck! If you have any questions, leave them below just keep in mind. I'M not professional though, but I'm always here to help.
