-------------------------------------------

100 gms Cassia powder

20 gms Henna powder

10 gms indigo powder

1 tbsp amla powder

1 tsp aloe powder

1 tsp hibiscus powder (optional)

Few drops of High quality tea tree essential oil

Black/green tea water

Hi everyone in this video, i will show you how to get brown shade from henna, cassia and indigo. So, as you see the before pictures of my friend's hair, she has a dark blonde, a kind of light brown, hair color and she has some gray. She wants to cover gray naturally and want some volume in her thin hair. So let's make the liquid first. I am making black tea water so take a pen and take like one, two glass of water and like one teaspoon black tea powder, you can also take green tea or hibiscus tea powder. So let it boil, and after it boils we will strain it and let it cool for three to five minutes. You can also take other liquids like only plain water or green tea or apple cider, vinegar or lemon juice or hibiscus tea. So while our liquid is cooling down, let's make our powder mix, so i am taking 100 gram of cashew, which gives us gold tones, and i am taking 20 grams of henna, which give us orange color according to the length of the hair. You can take more or less quantity of powders. I am now adding some herbs for healthy hair, so i am taking one tablespoon of avola powder, which is great for stronger hair. I am adding one teaspoon of aloe vera powder for moisture and one teaspoon of hibiscus powder, which is optional. Let'S mix all of them, i always add avla and aloe vera powder in all. My hair mix do not forget to add few drops of very high quality tea tree, essential oil, which is great for hair and scalp. I'M also adding a little bit of apple cider, vinegar like a tablespoon, it's optional, you can just skip it now. Let'S add the warm tea water, which we just made little by little, so you mix the liquid and keep mixing it until it's like yogurt consistency mix. It really really well, but do not worry about the lumps because they will go away later oops. My container is small, so i'm just moving my mix to a bigger bowl. Sorry for that so mix until it's yogurt, like consistency not too thick and not too thin, we will adjust a consistency later also. Now we will keep the paste aside for three hours for the dye release, so keshia and henna both have around three hours of dye release time when we mix it in warm to hot water. But if you are planning to mix it in the night and leave it overnight, then you mix it with normal temperature liquid so to leave it overnight, make sure your tea water is completely cooled down to make the brown color. We need cashew, which gives us gold, color henna, which gives us orange color, and we also need indigo, which has black color tone. So we already mixed cassia and henna. Let'S now mix indigo, we will take only a very little quantity of indigo, because indigo has black tone. Indigo dye release very quickly, just in 10 minutes so mix indigo only when you are ready to apply so i am taking 10 grams of indigo and adding half a teaspoon of aloe vera powder and a pinch of salt, and i am mixing it with just plain Warm water salt is optional, is just to extract more color from indigo and for some people it stick better to the hair so mix it really well and set it aside for just 10 minutes. I always ask people to take very little indigo and always do a strand test on your hair before you applying to your whole hair, because indigo has really dark color and it is very difficult to take out from your hair, therefore, making a brown shade. I am taking a very little indigo in my cashew and henna mix, so this is how our cashier and henna looks after three four hours and indigo looks after 10 minutes and now we will mix both the paste together. We have to mix it really really. Well. So that we will not have different color patches in our hair, so we make sure we mix it very well. If you think the paste is very thick, then add the liquid either warm water or warm tea water little by little and mix. It really really well make sure there is no more lumps anymore make sure you wear hand gloves also wear dark or old clothes because they might stain and wash your hair two three times with just shampoo. So, let's start applying, you can also watch my other video on how to apply henna on hair cover your roots and all the hair very, very properly make sure you cover the front and the side properly where you have more gray hair. After you finish, applying the paste wrap it with either plastic cling, wrap or a cotton scarf leave the paste on for at least three to four hours. You can do any work like watch tv, do something else. After three four hours, wash with just water and use old and dark color, towel also use old pillow covers in the night for the first few days, wash the hair with shampoo and conditioner after two days, and this is how it looks after two days: beautiful color. No gray and it's very healthy adds a lot of volume. You can mix different ratio of henna, cashew and indigo to get different color always make sure to test on a strand of hair. To make sure you, like the color, remember, you will not get any lighter shade on a darker hair, color watch my another video to see various shades you can get with henna, cassia and indigo more details are in description. Thank you. So much for watching have a good day.
