Hey guys welcome back to my channel, my name is leslie. If you're new here, don't forget to hit that subscribe button down below it means so much to me when you guys subscribe to my channel and for today's video i dyed my hair. Finally, during this quarantine guys, i have not dyed my hair. I have not used heat on my hair. I just wanted to see how my hair could, you know, become a little bit healthier and how long it would actually grow, and i had a good amount of growth guys. My roots were good, like four inches grown out to like two to three inches grown out. Like i'm exaggerating a bit, but my hair, this is how it turned out. So pretty like this color reminds me of like a hershey's chocolate. I love the little like red tones in it. I think it came out so pretty and i will post a picture here of the color i use, which is ion 5r from sally, so everything i bought is accessible to you. If you go to your local sally's, i think it came out super super cute. So if you want to see how i dyed my hair go ahead and keep on watching i'm going to be dying, my hair, i have not dyed my hair since the last time. I dyed it with you guys, and it is time to dye my hair. I got some new hair extensions that i wanted to try out with you guys as well, and i haven't straightened my hair out in like two and a half months during this whole quarantine. Um i've just been wearing my hair natural, just like wavy, crawly and yeah. I decided to go to sally's and get the hair dye that i got last time because i really like the color. It'S from ion a light brown red which is 5r and i'm going to be using 40 developer all over. Just because my roots are super grown out already, it's like way down here and i'm not a professional. Like i said last time, i don't know what i'm doing. I just do what i've been doing for the last few years and it works and i've just been liking, one hair color over my whole hair. So the first thing i'm gon na do is like brush out my hair, of course, make sure, there's no knots and then i'm gon na part, my hair in two sections. It doesn't have to be completely perfect. Just part your hair, okay, section, my hair. When i first started eyeing my hair back in the day and um, i would miss some parts, especially in the inside and ever since then i stopped doing that and i feel, like my hair, looks so much better so also from sally's. I have a little tin, a hair mixer and a little brush comes in handy and i think the last time i dyed my hair with you guys i added a little bit of forearm, because i was scared of it being too bright. This time, i'm not going to do that, i'm going to just add all of it, and i have two because my hair is a lot longer now and i wanted to foreign. So this is the consistency, we're looking for, like pancake, batter, okay, to protect our skin from accidentally being dyed, put some lotion or vaseline around your extremities of the face ears anywhere. You might accidentally put dye and you don't want it to stain. Seeing a higher developer is really gon na brighten up the hair color, it's gon na, intensify it a lot more. It'S gon na lift your natural hair color without using bleach when you use something like 20 you're, just depositing color like you're, not lifting anything. That'S mainly like, if you were blonde before or have highlights and you're just trying to cover it up because you're like tired of the highlights and you just want like dark hair or like chocolate. Hair then use a 20 developer because then you're just applying you're, just depositing you're, just putting that color into the hair. You don't need it to lift any color and whenever you have naturally dark hair or your hair was darker toned or you dyed it. A little darker then using a stronger, um developer, it's going to help and brighten up your hair, a little bit more and also put a towel down. So you don't stain the floor. Like me, i always stay in the floor. The sink everything so i put towel down on the sink. I put a towel down on the floor, so we're just gon na massage it in be like a true chocolate, color, not a cool. If you want it to be more neutral or more ashy, then you're gon na have to look for that type of undertone at sally's. This i like the red in it just because i feel like it's more natural, not natural, but like flatters, my skin tone, better flatters, my eye color better, because my eyes are kind of like that red chocolate, brown, color, anyways, so um. I feel like the red ma. Just flatters me, more 5r is meaning the undertone is red. So, on a little bit on my eyebrows, careful, don't put any in your eyes. I'Ve seen some people do it with like mint hair dye. It looks like it's faster on the brows. I want to try that next time and this helps it process a lot faster guys. I know you look crazy, but trust me. It keeps the heat in and it keeps the heat into your hair and it helps your processor process faster and lighten up a little bit more. If you are short on time, you can oh, why does my skin burn here? Oh, my god, i like um, you can use a blow dryer just to make it a little hotter. That'S what i'm going to do, but not on camera, because i'm going to clean up this is burning um and yeah. I will show you all the results in a little bit. That is how my hair turned out. I went ahead and flat ironed it, and if you want to know what iron i have, i have the nano titanium baby bliss pro. I got this on ulta. I wanted to do a first impressions on some hair extensions that i just received. These are from the brand iris irresistible me hair extensions, and they reached out to me and they wanted to send me some extensions. I was like you know what it is time for. Some new hair extensions - and i wanted to be you - know completely raw with you guys and let's try them all together. Let'S see how they are so they come in this little box with your hair extensions in here, the packaging is super cute. You guys it's like little heart bubbles, look how cute that is, and also they have a system for you to try out the hair. First, try opening this up! Try it on your hair, make sure it matches um. Before opening this, i'm i'm guessing! That'S how you can like return it in case it doesn't work out. So let's try that out and it also comes with extra clips in case. For some reason, your clips fall out. I'Ve never had that issue with any of my extensions. I'Ve ever purchased um before i've used other brands, and i've never had wefts falling out or anything like that. Thank god. So let's try the color. I'Ve noticed with hair extensions that i bought. I bought from three other different companies before is the tones will never be exactly like your hair, but i personally like that, why you may ask, because i feel like it, gives the hair dimension. It makes it look like you have highlights. It just gives your hair different tones without having to dye your hair, so i always have enjoyed it being not 100 identical to it, not 100 identical to your actual hair color. So, let's see what it looks like with my hair. As you can see, these are a little bit more ashy than my actual hair color, but they have some red and gold tones in it. I'M guessing that way. So it's like easier to blend with your natural hair, but it looks good. So let's go ahead and start applying them to my hair start with a three weft and how i like to put this one on is upside down. So i'm going to clip it into my head like this. That way, it kind of like hides and i'm not going to tease it or i'm not going to tease my hair or anything because i'm just going to be here at the house, i'm not going to go anywhere we're just going to be chilling. So i kind of just want to wear them out and not wear them out, but like wear them throughout the day and see how they feel so just kind of i'm going to go up a little more ouch, i'm gon na go in with the other third Weft and i'm just gon na apply, it normally need some length already. Okay, i'm gon na keep going. I go in with that super thick middle weft, which this is the four piece i'm assuming this one's supposed to go in the middle of your. You know the crown of your head, or not the crown, but like a little bit of lower than your crown just to give the maximum volume. I'Ve never had an extension with a super whiff like that, but i had seen a video with these desi perkins and she had a super weft and it was just showing how thick it automatically makes your hair, which look how thick my hair already looks. Whoa. I wish my hair was as thick, though for real and it's blending really nice, even though, like i said, my tones to the hair are more red and these are more neutral, more gold, it still looks really pretty. It gives it a look like of highlights and i'm definitely digging that i'm gon na go in with a two weft. Oh and you guys, as you can see, my eyebrows came out really really good this time. In my last video when i dyed my hair with you guys, i didn't leave the eyebrow uh, the hair dye on my eyebrows that long. But this time i did, i left it on for like a good 15 minutes, 15-20 minutes and it really dyed. My brows and i feel like it makes, makes a huge difference on how it looks all right. That'S cute, i'm gon na straighten it. I want to see if it can handle heat. I'M gon na do about a 30 heat on my straightener, just to see how it looks. But, as you can see, my hair is already looking super thick and it's blending really nice. So i put on a two and a one on this side, so i'm gon na do the same thing over here: go ahead and brush the extensions and my hair through, and i love hair extensions you guys like it instantly and they had even longer ones. They had the 20 and a 22 and i think, probably even a 24. If i am correct, i will look into it and i will let you know right now um, but i got the 20 because i always just get 20, but i have feeling i need to start going a little longer because my hair is growing. So all right. My hair is it's nice and hot now, so, okay and it straightens really quick, which is something that i like about. Hair extensions is that they keep the style really well. Okay offer two options for the hair extensions: they have a thin set like if your hair is on the thinner side or if you want a super thicker side, which i got the thicker one, because i have my hair is kind. I had my hair's thin, but i have a lot of it, so it's not smelling burnt or anything. So that's good. That'S also a good sign on these hair extensions. I also really like that thick weft, because you don't need to wear as many hair extensions if that makes sense, because on dude to get thick hair extensions or to get thicker hair, i seriously have worn two bundles of hair before to give me this super thick. Look like this is giving me this is how they look. They look super pretty. I really like them. They blend nicely into my hair they're super thick. You can see from here. So if you are interested in trying out any of the irresistible me hair extensions, i will leave a link down below. They have a range from 69 all the way to their most expensive set of like almost 400 dollars, so for hair extension guys. You just have to do your research there's so many companies out there. But of course, do your research and see what colors best suits you and if you have fine hair, would you be okay with just like a finer set? If you have thicker hair, then obviously go with the thicker set. I'Ve done the mistake of buying a thin set, because i didn't want to spend the money and honestly i looked ridiculous because my hair was just so bulky up here and so thin throughout the bottom. This set, i really really like, because it's thick and a super thick band that gives you the fullness without having to wear so many hair extensions right now. I don't have that many in and honestly feels super comfortable, and that's what i like. I like it for it to feel realistic without having so much hair inside without making your head look huge and without giving you a headache, so definitely recommend these again. If you want to shop the irresistible me and try out your hair extensions i'll leave a link down below that way, you can shop them anyways. Thank you so much for irresistible me for sending these and no, i did not get paid to uh. Give a review on this - this is my honest review and i did enjoy them, so i will see you guys next time, bye,

brightphoebus: Colour looks gorgeous! Remember girls, if you have fair hair like me, a 5R will come out very dark and red. Myself I have to avoid any red or warm tones. and stick to neutral or ash shades and I still end up with a warm tone cause my hair turns orange so easily. Fair hair is more porous and dyes/bleaches easier. Also 30 volume developer is for dark or thick hair, 10 or 20 vol is best for fair or thin hair. When I use a neutral medium brown on my blonde hair, I end up with chocolate. Just FYI for all you fair girls out there. Pick a shade a level or two lighter than you want to get the desired level, you can always go one darker.
