Dying Brown Hair Purple | No Bleach | Arctic Fox - Purple Rain | & 1 Week Update!

What'S up everybody today, I'm gon na be dyeing my unbleached brown hair with arctic fox in the color purple rain. Now I've read a lot of reviews on this. I saw a bunch of videos on YouTube about people using this on their brown hair and they had a pretty good payoff. So I'm pretty excited to try and use this on my hair. I do still have some of the red in it from the last time. I dyed my hair with Manic Panic. I used vampire red and rock-and-roll right on two separate occasions, but I'll throw up a video of me outside today. Just so, you can see how red it is out in the Sun stove. So arctic fox is cruelty. Free and vegan the instructions say shampoo, hair and drie, which i already did it by petroleum jelly around hairline to prevent staining that's something new, I'm going to be doing today, just because it was a mess in the past. So I got this big thing of petroleum. Jelly, I'm gon na put it all around my neck, my hairline and if you guys saw my first hair dyeing video I'll link that, in the description, the red was everywhere. Wear protective gloves, apply color evenly working in small sections and leave in for at least 30 minutes. I'M probably gon na do about an hour for best results, cover hair with plastic cap process with heat and blow-dry for up to 15 minutes we'll do that as well. Rinse, hair and cold water away from face I'm gon na try using my hose outside that way. I don't stain the shower cuz. I also saw one person who did a video and it completely like stained their white bathtub. Even after scrubbing it so much so I don't want to do that anywhere in my house. This is an 8 fluid ounce bottle. It was 1699 and a hair store up in Massachusetts. Color will fade with each shampoo and may last longer, depending upon hair type condition. Porosity products and styling, so I typically don't style my hair, a lot. I just let it air dry, sometimes I'll, put hairspray in it. So that might be why the Manic Panic has lasted as long as it has because it's been in my hair for almost two months now. So I have these gloves on. I got a pack of a hundred from Walmart for about like two or three dollars, non-latex, just so there's no powder on my hands. If I happen to change gloves in between taking clips out of my hair or whatnot, I sectioned my hair into four sections top and bottom and split in half just so it'll be easier to dye. My hair, as I go along now, I'm gon na put the jelly on chose to use gloves that way. I just don't have to rinse my hands afterwards. I honestly don't know how much I'm supposed to use um, I'm just gon na lap, it on and kind of hope for the best, so I'm going to pour the arctic fox into this container worked well for me when I used many pens last time. That way, I'm not just picking up a bottle and it's slipping on my hands, especially because I'm getting the color on my hands and putting it into the product and touching about don't want to deal with that. So I'm just gon na dump it all out. It'S an 8 ounce bottle it's about how much I used for a Manic, Panic and over Tom, and I did it in the past - picked up a wide toothed comb, because it'll be hard to brush anything out with anything that has less, that has more teeth or Less teeth, space, that's a thing! I broke up a shower cap, so I can rest the comb in it and it won't stain the towel that I have it laying on down as much enough. This stuff smells like grape. I heard that from other youtubers that this is like the best smelling stuff ever and I can smell it even without taking this purple this white lid off and even seeing the purple dye, it smells like like grape cough syrup, and this is like the best smelling Stuff, I've ever had the pleasure of trying I'm just going to take a little strand. All my jewelry is off. There is nothing left on my fingers. My necklace that I had on before is off, so I don't stain anything just gon na take a little bit with my hands so first impressions. I believe that this has a very similar consistency to manic panic, it slides on very smooth. I can't get over the smell, oh my god. It smells like grape, Jolly Ranchers, great cough syrup and grape. I know it's unpopular, but it's my favorite candy flavor, anything like hard to suck on or just to take it from medicine as a kid. So that's one strand completely done I'm gon na speed this up and do the rest of this section and I like to come through after I get the whole section done. That way, I can just kind of evenly dispersed it throughout the entire thing, rather than just one tiny section at a time and I'm gon na go ahead and do the rest of my hair off-camera. I will come back when it's olive in any cap. So it's all done now. I did end up using basically the entire thing kind of scraped a little bit at the end to just really saturate the ends, make sure I got everything and then, like massage my scalp, to make sure I got all the way up to the roots, even though It'S probably not exactly what the bottle says. I just don't like look having the choppy ombre it just look. So I'm going to set my timer for about an hour and a half and then I'll blow dry, my hair for 15 minutes, and then I will be back with the results. So this is my hair a day later completely dried and I slept in braids last night. So it's a little bit curly. You can see more of the highlights and the curls that way. I couldn't be happier with the color payoff honestly I'll, throw up a video of me out in the Sun, so you can all see that this is such a good payoff for brown hair. It'S still smells incredible like I have no need to wear fur cream today, because I'm just gon na be smelling like grape. Wherever I go. I highly recommend arctic fox purple rain to anybody who wants to die there. Unbleached brown, hair, or even if you have bleached hair you blonde like the color payoff, is incredible, and if this is what it's like for me, I'm brown hair. So it's been one week since I dyed my hair and honestly, I'm probably not going to use arctic fox again, like Manic Panic when you shower, it still comes out a little bit or even, if you don't shampoo, your hair, it still like wrinkles down a little Bit, but the main thing for me is that if my hair is what or even if it's dry, I have shampooed my hair, I want to say like three times this week and my nails are stained. Purple might not be able to tell here, but whenever I run my hands through my hair, like they're tinted purple, I wash them out with soap. It comes out, but the nails and my cuticles are a shade of purple. Now what Manic Panic that never happened? It would just stain the pillowcases and the sheets and with arctic fox, it does stain my pillowcase a little bit for my hair is wet, but it will stain whatever runs through it. A lot which is me I fidget. I touch my hair a lot, so it stains my fingers a lot other than that the color payoff has really stuck I'm very happy about that. I love having purple hair I'll, throw up a clip of what it's like outside so do. I recommend arctic fox to someone who has dark hair, that's unbleached and they want color for the hair. Absolutely I do recommend this just be cautious, that it will not be a one wash process to get all of the dye out when I initially rinsed all the color out of my hair, I was under a hose for 15 to 20 minutes. It felt like I shampooed my hair, that same night just so that I didn't get as much on my clothes and my sheets, and I feel like that saved me a little bit with the staining I'll, see you guys next time.
