Here are hairdresser tips and tricks on how to do highlight on brown hair

In this video, I show you how I do a full head of highlights on brown hair. Her hair is curly and dry. For dry hair, I use 20 or 30 vol cream oxide developers depending on the thickness of the hair strand.

And also it's important to consider the current hair color.

I used foil.

The foil placement on her side was diagonally and then then I switched to horizontally foil placement on the top and back of the head.

The product that I used is mostly from Matrix.

I do like the depth a little bit of a little bit of the depth, but i feel like it's too much. It'S too much yeah your base. Color is good, though right, we're gon na work on your base. Color, then, how about your hairline, my hairline? Would you like some face frame? I like it lighter here, yeah, okay, like open to suggestions. Would you like to go lighter than this in your front around your face, or this is good. I like this. I like low maintenance, okay, okay, okay, i love this picture. Yeah, that's a good color right like that yep great yeah yeah on the top. You have some new pieces, but here it's just like nothing going on. No, it's just the ends. That'S the old highlight yeah and the back here and the back. You have nothing. It needs it big time, yep yeah. How do you usually wear your hair? Sometimes you wear it up right, yes, and is this your part? Yes, okay, not on warm side, not on warm, it's more cool, it's more cool! I use i'm using matrix light master. This powder has olap lakes inside it has boundary inside and instead it's gon na give us like up to eight letter, lift i usually don't mix more than two scoops. I prefer to have a fresh bowl of product each time and i mix it with fairly volume. Developer and the mixing ratio is one two two welcome to my beauty channel in this channel. I share my experience as a hair stylist behind the chair with you hi there. My name is fatima: i'm a hairdresser. If you are interested in hair tips like how to color cut and style the hair, you are in the right place, please don't forget to subscribe this channel and hit the notification bell to see my future videos started from her size. My foil placement is diagonally. This way, when the hair grow, the highlight is gon na blend into her natural hair, very uh nicely. You may find it a little bit more challenging and time consuming, but believe me, it's gon na give you gorgeous result. I recommend diagonally face placement, especially for people who wear ponytails or pull their hair back because later you won't see the harsh line of demarcation when the hair grows to protect the previously highlighted area from damage, pull out, highlighted hair from each section to get the most Brightness taking thin section and saturating that is very important. After placing the first three foils diagonally, i foil, hair size horizontally. This is going to create more brightness and heavier lines of highlights. So far. I used weaving technique. Here i use a slicing depending to the hair texture, the area of the head and subsection. I switch the techniques to approach the desired look and also make the process faster and always saturation is very important to get even and best result on top of her head in the front. The foil placement for the first three or four foils is diagonally. We are not going for very bold face, framing highlights because she likes to see some depth and having a low maintenance highlight. That'S why i leave some of her natural hair in between the foils to create that dimension. Here i use my second bowl of lightener. Make sure to saturate each section completely to get the best result here. As you see, some of the ends are already highlighted to protect them from over processing. I pull them out from my section and use another foil to separate them from the dark area. On the back at the bottom of the hairline, i use weaving technique for the first and second stop sections. After that, i use a slicing technique until i reach to the top of her ears. This helps to foil faster here the head is wider, so i put two foils besides each other on each row, considering head shape, hair texture and using the proper technique cause flawless. Look now that i reach the top of her ears. I weave its sections again in order to get a good lift. You should be able to see through your sections. Do do do do this part of the head isn't as wide as the middle part in the back. That'S why i use one foil on each row. Do: okay, now that i'm done with the uh foiling i'm gon na go and wash her with purple shampoo and then towel dry hair take some of the extra water from her hair. It'S like i'm gon na dry here, like 70 to 80 percent, and then i will apply the toner. I didn't use any heat on here now, i'm ready to go and mix her toner. Okay. What i'm gon na use for her and toner is 7p. It'S dark blonde pearl 7a dark blonde ash and extra light blonde neutral. The color that i'm using is from so color matrix and it goes with the 10 volume developer. I will use this spray on her hair before using the toner. It'S kind of give us like even porosity in different areas of hair, so the color absorbs evenly, especially for people who have dry hair, who have highlighted hair who have over processed hair. I highly recommend to use it you're going to see the difference later. This toner doesn't change her base color. I apply the toner section by section from the root to the ends and massage it through the hair and make sure hair hair is saturated. Do after applying her first toner, i let it process for 10 minutes. Then i applied the second toner only on her roots. This one helps to cover the line of demarcation and create a smoother transition. I used 5n medium brown neutral and mix it with 10 volume cream developer. I gave her a haircut and now it's time for hair styling, i used some hair, serum and lightweight gel on her hair before doing hair blow out. Oh wow, this is gorgeous. How do you like it? I love it. I love love, love. The ends. Look great! The color cut everything perfect: it's beautiful, yeah, it's the best best coloring cut ever you have it. Yes, yeah. I love it. I love it. You
