I get away with that. Nunzio Many women in their 50s and their 60s with longer hair can look very sexy, very beautiful sophisticated.. So there is absolutely no reason why to cut your hair short if you ... Cheryl, If you want to ... Nunzio, Unless you want to., You know as we get older, we tend to lose some hair right, Whether it's hormonal or stress or whatever. It may be. That'S causing some hair loss, you wan na embrace that., And so, if you're used to wearing your hair way past your shoulders, maybe you want to consider to cut it a little bit shorter.. Sometimes even a couple of inches makes a big difference. Cheryl Now. Is that going to make it look fuller? Is that why so many women end up cutting their hair, Nunzio Exactly., You want to have some body. Cheryl. What'S that gon na do for us All that body, Nunzio Well body and some frame around the face It just gives a nice lift. Cheryl A lift.. There are some of us who just .... I don't want to give up my long hair.. I love my long hair.. Well, you know, keep in mind the difference between long and longer.. Cheryl, Alright, so tell me what you define as long and longer. Show me. Nunzio, So I say ..., probably about .... Maybe what is that? 10 inches. 12 inches. Cheryl. 12. Inches past your shoulder. That'S a lot of inches! I would say you should go nipple length, but the further south my nipples go, the longer my hair would have to get. Nunzio And there you have it. ( laughter, ) Cheryl. Alright, Nunz Get your scissors. Let'S get goin'. ( music ). Nunzio Right And isn't it beautiful Cheryl, It's gorgeous., I look hot.. You can see that there is a lot more body to my hair now that it is shorter but still long-ish., And there are some pieces that frame my face.. This is all about giving me that that lift you were talking about., So it's hair is too long and too flat. It drags your features down. This length a little shorter around the face with some length, ..., boom. Nunzio, And it's playful.. You can use a curling iron, add a little bit of beach wave to it or just a simple blowout. Cheryl. It feels very flirty, very fabulous, very ``. The Nunz.'' Give me two kisses. Ciao ciao

brandie white: You never have to cut your hair. I remember when I was about 13 years old and my great aunt, who was probably in her 70s, had broken her hip. So I started spending the night with her. She was very old fashioned and always kept her hair in a bun. So I'll never forget the first time I saw her take down her hair before bed. It fell in white waves around her face and I thought she was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. From that moment I always wanted to have long flowing hair when I got old!

LT: So many male stylists are scissor happy when it comes to cutting women’s hair. They say women over 50 should cut it above the shoulder because long hair makes women look older. I disagree. Every time I see a woman with short hair, I think she could be so much more youthful and pretty if only she had longer hair....

Lena Abrams: Why can’t older women have long hair?? That’s ridiculous!! I’m 55 and have had long hair my whole life.

DOLLZ DREAMS: long hair keeps you young. no one needs to cut it. when I'm 50+ I will be having long hair. short perms make women look so old.

Rachel Shea: I'm in my 60s and still have long hair. Always have, always will.

Anne Bialecki: Being over 60, it’s good to know we don’t have to cut our hair. Plan on having long hair ‘til I depart this earth. Thx for the vid.

cindiloohoo: Crown lift and asymmetrical part, in my opinion, is the key. And I know why she and others don't want to give up our long hair. I refer to my long hair as my "warrior hair." When I let it dry by itself it curls into loose ringlets and looks slightly elder tribal and fierce, especially if I sweep it back near (but not behind) my ears.

Heather Gray: My parents made me get the Dorothy Hamill (Olympic Figure Skater) haircut when I was young. I hated it because it was so short and I did get teased saying it was a boy haircut. My mother claimed she didn't like seeing my hair in my eyes, so I wore it in a hair band and ever since then I've had long hair. I'm 45 years old and don't see it going short anytime soon.

Roza Z: I am 73 ,I have long hair, really long, wavy and colored blond. I get a lot of complements: o,you have gorgeous hair. And I don’t have intention to make them short for 2 reasons: short hair makes me look older, and I don’t want to look like 90% of older women with the very short cut( like a men).I love my long hair,I love myself, and this is all that matters.I don’t care what anybody else thinks, for me is important what I and my family think. My husband,my daughters say: please please don’t cut your hair.

Debra: I do not wear short hair well. I like it long, and I’m in my 60’s. No rules.

Lisa Gasper: I remember in 1994 when I turned 30 I thought I "had to" cut my hair short. Did it and hated it. I just love my hair long. Every time I cut my hair I hate it - it's just not me.

Lisa S.: This is me. I am a 59 year old NYC born (1960) and raised Italian-American. I wash my hair only twice a week, do not use any products save for a simple shampoo and conditioner, which I apply very lightly both before and after I shampoo and I neither brush nor comb my hair when wet. I air dry my hair, never apply heat and truly believe that the healthiest hair begins from within, which means eating healthy, with leafy greens as well as fruit. I take some coconut oil, about a tablespoon in my coffee or in what I am cooking and for exterior protection I rub about a tablespoon of coconut oil between my palms to warm and gently coat my hair from the ends up, enough to create a slight shine which also protects hair from the outside elements, but not too much to create a greasy feel. I then wear my hair in a braid or a simple bun for work. Having Italian genes may somewhat attribute to why my hair is super thick, full and dense but this is wonderful in the winter...super warm! In the warmer weather I put it up in a bun or braid and for lovely loose waves the next day I twist it into a bun at night before sleep. More than anything external, I firmly believe it is how we genuinely carry ourselves, take care of ourselves and more importantly how we treat others which ultimately makes our beauty shine through, in our personality, our complexion, and our hair, no matter how long or short.

Lynne Spreen: Well-done video but frankly, I have to stifle my negative reaction. First, there are no rules. Don't go hunting for them. Second, you're young and beautiful, for cryin' out loud. And third, when will we stop darting about in fear of aging? You're alive. Live it.

Isabella: I was told my whole life to keep my hair cut short. It wasn't until 5 years ago I stopped listening to the naysayers in my life. I feel I am more attractive and free as a 52 year old woman. Great video!!.

Trudy Nord: I'm 57 and look terrible with short hair. I love my long hair even with the grey coming in and with a nice framed cut it makes me look and feel younger. Keep it trimmed and eat healthy foods as aging and hormones can take it's toll on hair health. I stay away from dyes, bleaching and blow drying as well. I won't ever cut my hair short again.

House of Zuma: 50 isn't old these days...keanu reeves, halle berry, are over than 50..also long hair is beautiful at any age.

kelly b: At 54 I don’t plan to cut my hair any time soon. I’ve tried short hair several times in my life and just never liked it. I try to keep it about the length you just got yours cut to. A tool I’ve found helpful to give it a modern curl is the Tyme iron.

Melisa Rechenmacher: I'm a natural redhead and I use to have naturally curly hair as well, and that's all but gone. My youngest daughter seems to have stolen it all, and shared it with my oldest daughter who never had curls, yet at 30 has all the sudden developed them. I also have entered into the lovely (NOT) Menopause state of life and I too am having a little more (who I am I kidding? A *LOT* more!) hair falling out in the shower, than I use to. Leaves me asking myself how I'm not bald yet! I love my hair color, even with it's silver streaks, and a few months ago I actually had 6" cut off and it's now at my mid back. I've been contemplating cutting it short simply because I'm tired of the amount of hair in shower pan. I think it's time to have a heart to heart with my hair stylist!

Theresa Davis: Beautiful... I love your personality and gorgeous hair. I think as long as one’s hair is healthy, long hair is gorgeous at any age. I just turned 60 in January. My hair is very thick and long. It’s about your length now.

Nicole Vollmer: I am 53 I do not see any reason why I should cut my still natural blonde, long hair. It is part of me and my personality. And...I am looking forward to wearing nice and flattering up dos when I am in my 70s :) My mum is 72 and due to the pandemic situation and closed hair salons she let her hair grow... and now she is wearing this BEAUTIFUL up do that is giving her AGES <3 So proud of my mum, she is my role model!

Brenda Wiley: Wow! Now I know what is considered long hair. Thanks for answering my question in this video!

Catherine Hiller: So entertaining! Loved it!

Melanie Pennock: Look at Stevie Nicks. Her hair is long and beautiful and she is over 70. My hair is much like hers. I am not quite that old but people say my long wavy hair rocks, it is about 3 inches above my waist! Wear your hair for you, not friends, lovers or hairstylists!

Judy Benavente Vargas: Im 60, i have a long hair, I always use my hair like now, very long, I’m worry about what do I think, if someone doesn’t like my style, I’m going to be very sorry, but it’s not my business, is their problem, I do my things for me, I don’t care about 60’s, and I don’t care what the people think about me!

Sheila Alley: Your hair is beautiful and certainly not too long. You look great. Nice video.

Laurie skerchek: We are so indoctrined there are no rules, requirements, if you look in the mirror and love yourself ..... Awesome!!!

R S: Yes, but I do believe you , would better benefit from a longer, slightly Angled bob. Another consideration would be, a subtle shoulder length option, with whispy longer layers and semi long bangs, could be more complimentary. Also, add in some subtle highlights, a few in top in, or around the face for dimension and life. These changes, would lift you up and give your that pop of excitement and a more youthful, powerful attractiveness. A fresh and vibrant look. Especially if you have been sporting the same look for a while, or your color is all one color and flat without dimension.

Joslyn Thomas: People don't realize that before the 1920's long hair was the style for all women.

Cheryl McManus: I am 50 years young and I have natural redhair. I have always loved my long hair but I recently not sure if how much is normal to fall out everyday.

Rosie Bottom: Long hair with layers can detract from a double chin, jowels etc. A sweeping sidepart hides my droopy eye. A short cut exposes your face completely and I'm not ready for that.

Yvonne Bejarano: Im 54...and my hair is down to my waist....go for it!

Jeanine Morgan: Looks great. Wish I was in NY getting my hair cut

Karli Morrow: Great hair, and cut, inspirational, you look in your 30s

Kim C1234: I too have long hair at 58 Just cut maybe 8” off few months ago Mines right where he said now Laughing so hard at the nipple comment ! So freakin true

Gayle Jideofor: I think we should cut only for manageability. Make the cut suit your time investment in styling. Mine MUST be wash and go. If you hair is thinner, has changed texture, is more dry due to coloring etc. As I age my curls got straighter and now my grays are way coarser than my already thick coarse hair. Coloring has really dried my ends so I cannot keep healthy ends past a certain length. But women should wear what they love, not what some trend says. My quote since I was a brunette in the Malibu-Barbie days of the 70's is " No slave to fashion, I just KNOW what I like"

Island Key Mermaid: When she said " nipple length" I thought...my boobs are sagging more each year...HAHA!!! You are beautiful and I'm loving your vibe. Be you people!!!

MaureenD8821: I am always surprised at what people consider 'long hair's to be. I don't consider her hair to be long...or even long-er. I have almost waist length hair and usually keep it middle of my back...but Covid. I consider that long. I also still get a perm every year or so because it is so fine...and I am 57.

Daisy Summer: Beautiful!

C Vitale: Those people in the background can see that you’re filming & yet they’re practically screaming.

166PolarBear: That’s not even long, my wife who 54 had hair nearly to her butt, now that’s long hair

Correanne: but my hair is kinky & curly in certain parts...I dont use hair dryers to straighten....bangs will just curl

DK Carter: I really didn’t notice a whole lot of change. Your a perfect model and already look fabulous. just saying, the volume was low and the background was very loud. Also the video clips and fill ins were irritating and totally unnecessary

brian rhoads: Nipple length just gets me intrigued.... Thats about as diplomatic or appropriate as I can get regarding that statement. I have a wheat side and a frosted side..... They dont agree.

Laurie skerchek: She has a perfect forehead I'm jealous

Deb: A famous guy in clothing (can't remember name) said that awful comment about older women with long hair or skinny jeans, they are 18/65'ers , you think Yay and then they turn around, well "F" him. I will wear skinny jeans and long hair and if guys like him feel cheated, too bad.

lorna burgess: Ain't nobody going to cut My hair natural redhead and 64yrs old my hair is down to my bum

Miss USA: Looks great Too short for me!!!!

jewelleryaddict: Just 70 look 50 they say. Anyhow I have had long straight hair since high school. So many ways to wear it. I will die with long hair. You can curl long hair and give body with products now. Enjoy life. Who cares as long as your happy. That’s what I love about the younger generation they are not that wrapped up in what others think. Do what YOU want. Be happy. It goes to fast to worry about others.

Mama Gen: What ages women with long hair is their angular over thin face from all their dieting. They look like Celine Dionne and it is very aging.

Barbara Wilson: I had very long hair and I just cut it got to cut a little past my shoulders and I liked it

MERRI Ella: Framing the face looks so nice on you.

Samantha Thompson: It helps if you have a nice non-witchy face. I have a big hooked nose so I look terrible in any hair and look like a witch with long hair (I have it anyway, lol).

Cathy M: That's not long, it's medium length.

Fetina COOL BEANZZZ: COOL BEANZZZ and Hair!!!‍♀️

Heather Gustafson: You have thick beautiful hair you can wear your hair long as long as you want! The ladies that have very fine hair that is long should cut their hair for a more suitable style

DonnaP: The only difference I saw was a couple of inches off the bottom and then her hair freshly shampooed because she already had the layers framing her face

james olson: your eyes are so beautiful in that school picture.

Rocco Walsh: Good hairstyle suits you

Beverly Hill: Hope someone can answer / need help/ thinning hair on top I wear hair to cover up the places / is their any thing I can do to help hair go back in on top

Meya: Lovely hairstyle, but wish you could have turned around to show the back. Were there layering?

caroline duda: That color is fabulous. I need that.

Brandi Wymore: Pretty!

J Ross: Your makeup should be less around the eyes. WAY too much BLACK! You look rather harsh. I would also tone down the hair color to a softer and lighter shade.

Charlotte Dog: Would have been better if background noise was filtered out...otherwise insightful

Nancy Coulter: I’m sorry it said hairdos for women over 50. Y’all talked for 4 1/2 minutes before you showed a woman in the chair and then another minute and a half did talk to her and show that you are you cutting it. And then we had one style along style. No real style I mean it’s just Long Hair. I just feel that you might have titled your video differently talk about Long Hair show one long hairstyle

Michelle R Jackson: Hey.. I am a 54yrs YOUNG at woman. Light/Medium complexion, light blue green eyes..I DON'T want to look like a Soccer Mom~ My son is 22yrs old, and I just want to feel good about myself..Help!!

michelle fish: Makeup is not the right shade

Susan Norman: You didn’t show how he styled it.

Ruth Ferry: That length is not long at all. That is short hair. Too short for me. Mine is past my rear and I’m 56.

kelly trisor: He is correct

Mofida Khatun: Cute

RuthAnne MacKinnon: Oh my long intro abuse

J M: WOW Talk way to much ..get to the point

Suzanne Rodriguez: There’s too much background noise in this video.

Tammy Flores: Misleading title to video when you're talking someone into shorter hair. Disappointed

pipnsunski: LQQKS great

Mary-Ann Roy: No offence but the woman is annoying.

Kirstine Termansen: From gray EU

M S: You are trying to hard. Tone it down a bit. Not trying to be rude. Just giving some constructive criticism.

penny miller: obnoxious...

Rita Bernardino: Cutting the hair weakens the hair. You loose vitamines.
