This is not your regular regular box, braid hairstyle video, i'm giving elegant classy birthday, hair birthday, hair, unique, never before seen, pinterest inspired video that you can do on box sprays, knotless braids, faux locs senegalese, twists, marley twist the whole shebang. So, if you're here watching stay tuned, let's get into it. So welcome back to my channel, where i pride myself on educating y'all, giving out the tea, putting all on game for all things: hair, natural hair, travel, lifestyle, etc. So, if you're into that stuff, definitely subscribe. So for today's video i thought it would be dope as and really interesting to take really popular hairstyles. I see on like wigs and weaves and put it on braids or whatever type of hairstyle that you have so yeah. I thought it would be super dope to try that, especially because i haven't seen anybody on youtube. Do it and since there was a whole tobacco on black twitter about whether braids were seen as like birthday hairstyles. So i was definitely like yeah. Let'S actually do something about that so we're here. So currently i have knee length custom, blonde box braids and i curled the ends today, but i'm going to show you guys some clips or side-by-sides of me showing hairstyles with straight ends and with curly ends, because i wanted to just i wanted to give you all Everything, but if you guys would like to know the colors that i used to get this custom blonde, i will leave a card here and in the description box of me, showing what colors i used and how much of each color that i got to get this Dimensional ash golden blonde yeah, what i'll be using is scrunchies bobby pins, swirly, curly bands, perm rods and flexi rods. Let'S just get straight into the styles: i'm excited boom, i'm just gon na walk you through every single style that i do i'm putting this up in a high pony, and then you just wan na make sure it's sitting at the very top of your head and Not leaning back and then i take some braids and i wrap it around and it's just giving sleek fire cute. Oh yeah and i take a bobby pin and i just make sure that it doesn't unravel and yeah for style number two you're actually going to take that same high pony and then just equally part the hair into three and braid down the length of the braid. What'S key here is just don't make the braid too tight, because nobody wants a stiff pony child like you want the braid to have movement like beyonce, okay, so make sure you're braiding a little loose or you can pull it out too style number three. I just take that same braid and unravel it and then for the front. You can just pull out two little little pieces or whatever two little antennas and then just wrap the bottom half of that ponytail and have a little wrap around and yeah it's getting unique. It'S very giving very cute. I also decided to show you how it looks with curly ends too, because i'm giving out everything like i said - and i do want to emphasize - that with these high ponies, make sure that it's sitting at the top of your head and you're pulling those braids out. So that it's not pulling on your edges because girl, i still want you to have edges after these hairstyles, okay style number, four we're still gon na use the same pony, and i just pulled out enough to have a little swoop and yeah. I think this is pretty straightforward. It'S a very popular style as well. I'M so sorry that i couldn't get a proper slow-mo, but y'all know what it is. Y'All know what it is so now for style number five. I was very inspired by having like a short style. You know that little high pony with people who do like the flip out, but instead i was like okay. What if it's flipped in, i feel like i can do that properly with braids. So i decided to use swirly curly like snap tie, because it was going to be the easiest thing for me and i just folded the hair underneath and adjusted it to the length that i wanted and then first wrapped around the side swoop. Because i didn't want any braids showing and then i took the length of like the rest of the synthetic hair and wrapped it around, so it had like this little. That'S very cute, locked in with my brows. It'S getting classy it's giving elegance it's giving birthday hair! It'S giving very much classy dinner little black dress, cuban link, chanel tiffany and co coach. Even you know yeah, so that's a faster way to do it, because the other time i was struggling - and i was like - oh my god - i should just use a snappy. It made the process of folding, my hair underneath better, but i think it's also because i have knee length box braids that it's a little bit difficult, because it's so long, but i feel like if you have regular length like mid back. It shouldn't be too big of an issue, it's kind of just like putting your hair in a ponytail, but not pulling your hair out all the way. So this is for all my girls who just have regular hair tie. I folded the hair or kind of around my arm just to get the desired length and an even length, and i wrapped it around once and then i took that excess pony in the back, and i wrapped that around twice so that it had like a solid Base and then i took the hair and adjusted it to my desired, like short length or short pony, and then in the previous clips, like i said, i took that side swoop, wrapped it around, so that no braids were showing and then took the excess of the Braids at the bottom and wrapped it around so it gave an illusion of like hair, so for this style, i'm super happy about bringing 90s hairstyles back, but i wanted to try this on braids, so i pulled out a little excess hair before i did the side Swoop and did a little like half pony at the top for like a good base. You don't need a lot of hair at the top, but you could do whatever you want. So i took like two braids per and kind of did like a barrel roll to create a base at the bottom, and i did i think about two or three of these um just to create the illusion of having you know the little freaking curls. And then i took the bobby pin and i had like stacked it on top of each other and then took the bobby pin to secure it on either side of the barrel. And then i just kept doing that for each row. But yeah girl look at it's coming together. It came together now i need to go to a freaking party because thanksgiving now more into the half up, half down category, this one's honestly really simple. I think what makes this style so cute is because the ends are curled but yeah, similar to the style. Before honestly, i just pulled out about four braids and i flexi rotted the bottom, so that it had more of a spiral curl and yeah. It was very much giving like very simple, but also very cute, more into the half up half down category. I put these into two half up half down ponies. If that makes sense, and then i took the excess and just wrapped it around, but it wasn't curly enough for me right there, so i just folded like a braid in the back. I don't know if you guys can tell, but i took that and then just pinned it so like it gave more of the curly vibe right around the the base of the pony for this style. You'Re. Actually gon na put all of your braids into two ponies and then you're gon na wrap it around the back and use a banana clip to secure it and then because my hair is so long, i had to like pull it through and wrap it around again. But um just to give that curliness, you know what i mean, so you could leave it like that if your curls stop right there, but for me, because my hair was so long, it's knee limp like i said i pull it through just so that the curls Can sit and then take a bobby, pin and secure it and voila, and if the pieces in the front get annoying honestly girl just wrap it around and i feel like they're really cute curly space buns now and then you could also just unravel them and they Can be just too high ponies now into the low pony segment. You can either decide to do a middle part or a little side swoop, but either one is cute just make sure that the braids are even i'm going for the puff look. So you want to take ponytail holders and put it at your desired part and then just poof out some of the hair like pull out some of the braids from that scrunchie, so that they create this puff. Look - and you just do that along like down the braid. However, many puffs that you want to do, and it looks really cute and for this style, is honestly the same exact thing: i'm just taking all of the hair into one big low pony and applying the same concept, taking the scrunchie, putting it around the base of, Like my desired poof and then pulling out the braids so that it creates this little ornament thing look at her so cute and the same little pony business instead of a poof a braid. This was kind of giving me like punk rock vibes, a little bit like a little alternative. You know, but i just took three ponies one at the top with the middle and the bottom, and i just wrapped them, so they hit the ponytail holder and collect them all at the bottom. You could also braid them all together, that's an extra style but yeah. It'S getting very sleek now into the bun category, you're going to put your hair back into a high pony, and then you just wrap it around honestly and then i just left the curly ends out literally. That'S it. You just give it a little like trim of curly, you know, and it's fire. You can also take the little side pieces out, have them on one side or actually have them on two sides period. Another way to wear a bun is actually instead of having curly ends, you're actually going to keep the ends straight, get your bun all you know fine or whatever, but leave the ends out, and now you have a bay yang like you can also use this to Cover up your edges too, if you know your hair is getting old but girl, yeah yeah. I did that, okay, i was gon na stop on the bun, but i just came up with the most iconic thing ever and i put this flexibility here and i'm gon na dip it so that it's like a bang like a bang bang like a girly bang Genius iconic, yes, should we dip it again, yeah? No, it's giving it's giving because who said that braids can't be birthday: hair? Oh okay! Okay, oh okay, yeah yeah! Oh okay, like are you dumb?
