Diy Bob Haircut From Ponytail | Quarantine Haircut For Beginners (Try At Your Own Risk )
We've all been there, contemplating the DIY quarantine haircut. Maybe you found this video searching how to cut your own hair at home! I say, YOLO! There are worse things than haircut fails, and you may just have fun and learn a new way to save some money! I've been cutting my own bangs for 2 years, and did my very first DIY haircut 3 months ago (watch it here: https://youtu.be/xDVg6kCQz_k ) with decent success. Wanting a fresh short haircut, I took to YouTube, as one does, and was inspired by @Coco Shin's fun video here utilizing the bob haircut tutorial using the ponytail method: https://youtu.be/1rmNx_hECYc

So, it didn't come out perfect, but it's fairly decent? Maybe? Or does this go under quarantine haircutting fails?? We'll go with #asylumchic My advice? Watch a handful of videos and then just give it a go! You got this!

The Queen of Good Enough
Hey guys so uh, you know we just got out of three weeks of quarantine and i thought what better way to celebrate than to give myself a haircut since uh. You know i'm finally gon na be able to go out in public. Why not have a haircut that looks absolutely horrible, just kidding uh? The hope is that this diy haircut will actually be super cute and easy and fun i'm going to try a new technique. I saw it over on coco shins youtube channel. She basically put her hair in a ponytail chopped it off, and then that was that so uh, i don't know if this diy bob haircut is gon na, be that easy or it's gon na come out absolutely horrible, but the idea behind it is you pull it Back like here and this hair will naturally see how long that hair is compared to here, so it'll just naturally create this. Like a frame, i mean you can see my bags. I'Ve been tripping my own bangs for like two years now. I'Ve done my kids with mixed results, and i did my own a couple months ago. This is it's been growing out, but that was um kind of fun and liberating, if i'm being honest, like to be able to cut your own hair and have it come out. All right or even decent, it's kind of exciting. As i always tell my kids, it's just hair. This will either be a kind of a hair tutorial or a warning story. Here we go, let's see so i guess you want to get it. It'S parted in the middleish, oh, my gosh so make sure it's like smooth straight back, not doing any like crazy waves and stuff. I guess oh my gosh. I don't know how short i want to do it in coco's video. It was kind of hilarious because she kept cutting her hair ties. I really enjoyed the video. I will link it below or up here, but don't turn off of my video watch it later. Okay, does this look good again? I, like i always do this blindly got ta line, my sink with paper towels. I always forget my little uh sheep cheek mock. Let me call really not good scissors. This is going to be hilarious guys. I may end up with a haircut to match my daughter, who i shaved the bottom half of her hair last week. Okay, here we go. Oh, my arms are getting tired. Oh okay, how do we do wow? That'S a lot of hair okay! So now i'm going to take it off for the grand all right. I don't know in the back. Uh looks exactly the same in the front because really didn't cut off any length here. I may trim that up a little all right. Let me see oh gosh. I don't think that came out very good in the back. I can fill it i'm going to like trim this up here. Yeah yeah trim it up trim it up just trimming. It up here sure sure sure why not? Okay, oh bye! What do you think uh? Still got some little random escaping hairs here becoming the queen of the five minute cut here, five minute diy cut. What was that tick tock all right? What do we think choppy? I like it, i like it the chubby, so in a pinch guys, the ponytail bob. Actually works, uh you're, gon na have to still trim it because there's like random bits hanging out that were a bit uneven uh, but for a choppy, quick cut. Space Cadet 69: I have long hair now but a few years ago I gave myself an extreme 3/4 head shave down to a number 2. I then dyed it Blue. I loved it. The Director of Nurses at my hospital didn’t like it though. I actually had a disciplinary because of it. I felt like a rebel for the first time in my life. I quite like your cut. Nice and choppy. Brave lady.

Sue Smith: I cut my own hair in lockdown , it’s fine if you cut a bit at a time and take it slowly , also don’t freak out if you make a mistake , it WILL grow back . It’s a lot easier if you have curly hair as mistakes don’t show up so much as on straight hair . I thought you did good

TheJackflash85: The Cut is fine and fast. However, the bangs need to be texturized. They look way to buster- brown, little kid goofy. This lady is attractive, smart, and fun. The bangs should be pieced out a little. They shouldn't be straight across. I'm a hairstylist. And it is harder to cut your own hair with the specialty techniques. Overall nice job!
