Hi everyone, it's your girl, tina alicia, welcome back to my channel. So today i am going to be talking about trends, crazy trends that a lot of people things a lot of crazy things. A lot of people have done to their hair, which is wrong, and i'm going to be giving you reasons why this thing is bad for your hair, but before i get right into the video, don't forget to click on that subscribe button. If you are new to my channel and give this video a thumbs up, so the first thing, i think this is the one that gets on my last names 30 days, rice, water challenge, why why would you do that to your hair after, like a week of Doing this thing, i promise you, your hair is going to be stiff. It'S going to not just feel right, so please stay away from that 30 days. Protein challenge that 30 days rice, water challenge - that is a deal breaking washing your hair every week. Okay i'll say this: there is no peculiar time when everyone should wash their hair. Some people would come out and claim they don't wash their hair to you after a month, and then you want to go on on that same track and not wash your hair if they want washing. Your hair should be dependent on your hair, also, your environment, your activities, if you walk out and all that so don't follow the trend of washing your hair every day. Don'T follow the trend of washing your hair every week. Don'T follow the trend of washing your hair. Every month, wash your hair when your hair needs to be washed there is this one going crazy right now on facebook about this clove water thingy? How would you use clove water for 30 days straight when your head tries to absorb moisture, tries to absorb water? It raises your cuticle, so you doing that continuously is wrong, especially if you don't even use oil, even if you use oil, it's still wrong, because you're stressing on that up and down motion normally when you moisturize your hair. After your wash day, the oil and every other thing helps to lay down and smooth in your cuticles, but now you using clove water every day is bringing it up down and you are stressing your hair and also don't forget, eyebrow fatigue. Your hair can suffer from that and you won't like the breakage at all. This one is a deal breaker. This is a very, very annoying fact. I'Ve heard about this since high school, but now coming to the natural hair community and still see people doing this thing. Mentality spirit, some people have this - i don't know myth whatsoever about mentality spirits. I know some people would think. Oh who would use that, but trust me a lot of people use that, including guys they use it on their beds. Thinking it's a grow hair. I don't know where they got the idea from, but it's crazy stop using mentally dead spirits. This one is the one that has gotten my attention for a long time and i'm thanking god and finally saying this cheby. If you don't know what chiva is, cheby is like a hair, basically gotten from some parts of africa, but the point is cheba is like a herb. It'S just like you taking moringa and applying it on your hair with an oil and leaving it overnight. That is basically the greenhouse effect. So please, if you're part of the people that use this cheby, please use it correctly. Don'T do this 30 days checking? Why must you do something for 30 good days like you shouldn't do things for 30 days for you to see results? Hopefully i would have a video of how to properly use chipping and some other helps properly. So click on that subscribe button and turn on that post notification. Some people use coke you're using soda on your hair. I saw this video on youtube and i was like why should you be using this, then i went on facebook and i saw someone making a post of it. Please, like don't use soda on your hair. This one is quite controversial and new d, no oil method. This is weird, ladies on instagram, on tick tock on facebook and even on youtube, come out saying they have not used oil on their hair and their hair has tried. Please, i beg of you, don't do it. First of all, your hair needs oil. So you know using oil is not the best and it's not healthy for your hair unless the product you are using contains enough oil. One thing is that those ladies on social media, claiming they don't use oil on their hair, use products and most of those products, the deep conditioners, the you know, leave-in conditioners and all those type of things actually contains oil. I would say you should rather reduce the amount of oil. You use the quantity rather than removing it totally, especially if you do diys like me that you know you do your deep conditioning and everything diy way. Please do not remove oil from your routine, because oil is very essential and necessary to protect and seal your hair before you hop into any trend. Please know the essence. Ask questions. Don'T just jump right into it because you see your favorite influencer or your favorite youtuber or your favorite talker or your favorite. You know instagram whatsoever doing this. That will be it for today's video okay. So thank you so much. I hope you would listen to my advice. Some of y'all will still go and do this particular 30 days right water challenge. You will still do it. I am not saying rice. Water is not good for you. It is good, but do this in moderation and when necessary. I hope this video was very helpful if you like this video, give it a thumbs up subscribe to my channel if you're not yet subscribed. I still remember your girl tina only saying one natural educator. I will see you in my next video bye. You
