2020, hair trends that will be huge and 2019 trends that are going away. Welcome back to my channel today, I would like to share with you the hottest trending hairstyles, and also trends that are fading away. If you enjoy the content on this channel click, the subscribe button and the Bell notification in 2020, natural gray hair is going to continue its popularity recently in an article in The Sydney Morning, Herald tarimov wrote about her own recent journey with gray hair. Her article was personal, informative and inspiring. She speaks about ageism and the bold women who break the stereotypes. She even mentions the silver foxes support group on Facebook. She says stats suggest I'm not the only one deciding to skip the color with store-bought dyes, purportedly on a recent decline and groups, like silver fox seen on Facebook, showing hundreds of posts from ordinary women encouraging each other through the process. It'S extremely well-written and I think you'd really enjoy the read. So I linked the article in the description for you, even though there are plenty of naysayers and negativity surrounding natural silver hair. That ageist attitude is quickly being thrown to the wayside, as thousands of women claim. That is the best thing that they have ever done for their hair sing. That allowing themselves to be free of dye has boosted their confidence. It has been the most empowering hair trend ever in 2020. There are two versions of the pixie that will be popular. The most popular new cuts will either be very short, sculptured and sleek or they'll, be quite long bordering on the length of a short shaggy Bop. What we'll be feeding this year is fade cuts in under cuts with the designs. The blunt Bob. This hairstyle will never go out of style. It looks fresh neat and professional as well as cute. What'S rising in popularity is the straight or blunt bob different variations of a mid-length bob. Keep the haircut interesting with some variety, such as soft layers or an all one length cut. The a line bob has made a big impact in 2018 and 2019. It started to fade, I expect not to see it much in 2020, rounded curlies, large hair. This bout encompasses hair of all textures from thinner hair, with loose curl to thicker hair and a tight curl. This cut enhances the face by adding volume around the head. It is very flattering on all faces and its bounce factor looks healthy and playful slicked back hair sometimes called a wet look from long hair to Pixies. Making a strong entrance slicked back hair has become a trend in the fashion world, as well as by celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Kate, Hudson Gigi, Hadid, Gwen, Stefani and Jennifer Lopez. This look is a powerhouse. Look, it smoothes the hair away from the face. Creating a bold look that commands respect fashion, wigs wigs, have become more popular in recent years, along with processing and dyeing hair. This is because the bleaching and dyeing of hair often makes hair thinner, weaker and dry like straw. This has prompted many to either cut off their hair or hide it under a glamorous wig. It is a quick solution to having long hair and never having a bad hair day. Super long extensions, even more than wigs extensions, have been the most popular way of achieving a long hair without waiting years for your hair to grow. There are different types of extensions or ways to put extensions in in past years. Sewn-In extensions have been wildly popular and easy clipping. Extensions are easily accessible to everyone. Longer bangs shag, bangs curtain, bins, brigitte bardot bangs for the last few years, heavy blunt bangs or shorter bangs have been quite popular. This trend is dying out, however, this year longer bangs will be in. This is likely due to all those who cut their bangs in the past two years and now growing them out, as all those Bangor's are growing out, their blunt cuts, their longer bangs have given rise to new trends and bangs. These include shaggy, bangs and longer curtain. Bangs expect to see more face framing layers this year longer bangs go great with a modern shag. This haircut is only gained momentum, since its reimagine in 2019, from the classic 70s Debbie Harry or Farrah Fawcett, heavily bleached and brightly colored hair is losing momentum, as extreme upkeep is necessary to keep dyed, gray, hair or rainbow hair. Looking fresh and healthy, more natural look is now in rather than perfect, curls or perfect straightness a cool relaxed texture is also preferred. This means less stress on your hair and more time for it to repair. Do you agree with my list? What do you think about the upcoming trends in 2020? Lydia Butler: I've been considering going gray for about a year so this was just what I needed! Thanks for the boost of confidence!

Verse Apocalyptica: I like these trends—The “rolled out of bed” look is attainable, and wallet-friendly.

Vvitxh: 1. Gray hair 2. Pixie cuts 3. Blunt Bob 4. Rounded large curly hair 5. Slicked back hair 6. Fashion wigs 7. Extensions 8. Long bangs 9. Modern shag haircut 10. Natural look

Katerina Aza: I've gone natural grey (almost white) and my hair is amazing, shiny and healthy. I have a pixie cut. Trendy with minimal effort, love it!

Erika's Turquoise Feather: My red hair is slowly going white and I love the in between shades such as spun gold! Thank you Nan for these genes!

S Car Go: Well that will explain all the compliments I get on my natural white and silver hair. Went dye free three years ago at the age of 41. Been a blessing all around!!. Also, I am growing out my hair from a 20 year pixie purgatory to have long silver tresses before I reach 50. New subscriber here...I completely agree with your forecast of trends and ends.

L P: SO HAPPY to hear that natural styles and even natural gray are becoming more popular!! I'm tired of feeling the expectation that I, along with all other women out there, need to pretend my hair is something that it's not.

IIIPurrrsentkitty -: I quit dying my hair 4 years ago when I turned 40. It’s silvery white and the healthiest its EVER BEEN. BEST hair decision I’ve ever made. I get compliments on it every time I go out ~ Mostly from youngsters who want to know where to get it done. Life experiences baby!

Queenof3hearts: Platinum blonde for over eleven years and thanks to quarantine I let my natural hair color grown in and now I’m keeping the balayage look. My hair is growing faster, less damage and no more crazy expensive $80 purple shampoos. Keeping a more natural style is definitely on trend.

Jeanie Phillips: Stopped dying my hair 8 years ago this month. Best decision I ever made!

Carol Gibson: Yay for the women who embrace going gray. I am not one of them. I tried on a silver wig which is the color of gray and I looked washed out. So I embrace my dye. I think you do what makes you feel good.

Lizzy Murray: Finally I'm in fashion! ! White, undyed, big and curly!!!!

Seattle Red: I started coloring my hair at age 14 and will continue to do so regardless of gray hair or what others think about ageism or age discrimination etc. My hair is wavy and dark but its my hair and it grows fast and I love wearing it in different styles and colors seasonally. It's fun to see what is new in styles and trends and take what you want and leave the rest. Happy 2020 everybody! ✌️

Phyllis May: Good to know. I ditched the dye in 2017 and allowed my silver and white hair to grow out and I love how the white streaks frame my face. It is so dramatic and makes my green eyes pop. Plus, I am getting my hair cut Wednesday and needed some advice....thanks.

Wulfseig: Yep, agree. More natural color and texture. Everyone has to heal from all the over processing.

Aura Wright Media: It's always nice when my natural curls make a comeback, but I wear them weather they are 'in' or 'out'.

Lisa Ratley: I’ve stopped drying, straightening and messing with my hair for the last couple of years. It’s lovely and freeing!

Suzanne Davies: Have curly hair and everyone else loves it but because it’s dried naturally and not taken any time to style I feel less put together and scruffy compared to a blow dry and straightening. I’m glad I can finally feel free with less pressure to look put together by styling. I should have listened to my friends but I know it will take time for me to feel glamorous with such an easy hairdo!

Jessaca Kordsmeier Redd in a state of Namaste soaps: Yay naturally gray and pixie I’m in lol. So easy and Im finally feel free.

Seona: Letting my hair go natural... best thing I've done for myself! Bye... bye dye! It's so freeing!

Victoria Greenroyd: I'm a girl who been around a lobby time...long enough, that is to have seen Twiggy wear her Sassoon cut & painted on lower eye lashes (I loved BTW), Farrah's iconic long feathered locks, Mia Farrow's Uber short pixie and on and on it goes...I so enjoy following hair trends and have been blessed with healthy hair all my life. At present I'm in the group of women who have abandoned hair dye and it is the best decision I've made concerning my hair. I'm growing it out from a short layered cut I had nearly 3 years ago. Consequently the sides & crown are significantly shorter than the back. I haven't any bangs for the first guy kme in 25 years but am thinking of having everything shaped/cut into a long shag possibly with bangs. I enjoyed the video plus hope the styles mentioned and trends mentioned for 2020 will hold true. Each is a great hairstyle, especially the blunt bob...so attractive. Sincerely, Victoria Greenroyd

AIl3csI: Im 42 and have been saying for a year now that i cant wait to go all grey. Plus... My husband encouraged me to leave it alone, dont straighten, and let its natural wave be. I now love this look.

Joyce Kaminski: I love the more relaxed look. I have naturally curly, silver hair (I am 74) and I love to keep up with the trends. Finally I am on trend......who knew it would take this long to be myself

Grayson Nelson: Definitely going natural gray this year, a decision I made on my 60th birthday. It’s a relief not to pay for someone to color it. Besides, I earned every gray hair I have!

Jo Momz: New to your channel! Loved your narration. My hair is beginning to grey throughout and I have a streak in the front. Even though I don't have enough silver to look striking, and the grey makes my brown look drab, I plan on staying natural because I think dyed hair looks harsh. My goal is to stay looking healthy, not to try and look younger than I am (50)

karen walker: I love this video but more importantly, I love your natural grey hair color and hairstyle! You look amazing and your natural color is to-die-for! For that reason, I love where the trends seem to be going...backwards to a time that my hair was easy to style and looked the best! Natural, wavy, shaggy, casual style, not so a-symmetric and “sterile-looking!”...lol

Sharon Smith: Love all your picks!!! I love the big curly hair that looks good on all. I might even buy a wig because of this YouTube Thank You ! You made my day!

amanda thompson: I'm loving the long face framing bangs. My long hair is almost one length and I'm seriously considering making a change. Thanks for sharing

Deah: I LOVED your video! I am attempting to let my hair grow longer so that I can have a bob and I am naturally grey and tired of coloring. I am very pleased with what I heard here because I am tired of short, manicured looks that are high maintenance and costly to keep up.. Thank you, I feel so much better! This might be a good year for me after all.. Woohoo!

fadnama: I’ll still be wearing the A-line lob in 2020. I just love the way it frames my face/head.

Northern Girl: Great report on what is up for 2020. Love that grey is popular, I think it looks stunning. Go girls!!!!

JJ HAWK: My hairstylist is calling my hair “camouflage”!! I am loving it!! And I love the word! My usual natural light blonde, darker blonde, and some brown, has always been nice, but now post-50, I have silver coming through so there is more camo going on. I’m loving the freedom. :) She might do some highlights to freshen the darker parts, but I am loving silver!! More important, so does my husband!! ♥️

royal tutor - Hypatia KovalevskayaSklodowska: Glad I encountered your video! I am looking forward to another twentirs when women break the social expectations and just go wild and natural

Joan Gentile: I love the shag hairstyle. I wore my hair in a shag back in the 70's. I'm glad it's coming back again.

Perry Skye Phoenix: A more relaxed look has always been my preference. I have about 85% gray hair and I've colored it for years. For the past few years I've had fun bleaching it and dying it "unnatural" colors. Most recently I've been moving away from that and opted for a light auburn shade. Bleaching is very hard on the hair and that's part of the reason why I'm taking a break from it. As for allowing myself to go gray naturally... I'm not ready for that yet. I have baby fine hair, and I enjoy the the body and texture that I get from dying and/or bleaching it. As for style, I've been transitioning from a f**ked up undercut modified pixie mess to a short shag. I had to break up with a hairdresser. That's a tough decision to make, but I'm sure glad I did!

Vicki Hale: I taught myself to give myself a mid length bob/shag type of style using Youtube videos, and just guessing what I needed to do to get my hair to lay down right. Shags never seem to ever really go out of style.

Shirley Gibbs: Soooo glad the Shag is back. Loved it in the 70's! Love it now!!

Silver Fox: I've had grey hair since I was 19. I don't dye my hair because my hair is incredibly healthy and I don't want to hurt it. Plus it's grey in awesome places

scalare70: Entering my 50th year ive said bye-bye to color (ie hide ) my grey hair. Last year i made the decision to just *rock my 50 shades of grey* (keepin' it pretty short. Not pixie short, and with a medium bang which i can slick back) Hey - im SO in fashion in 2020 :D

Karen Olson: I cover my gray hair with henna. It's messy and time consuming to apply, but it binds to my hair like crazy and it makes my hair incredibly shiny. It's not damaging at all and it doesn't have dangerous chemicals.

Lara O'neal: Stopped coloring my hair and letting the grey grow out. I actually like it so far. One has to be ready to embrace their age.

Kid Rocker: I love the shag look that's in now. I'm 48 years old and the one trend I wint be participating in is the natural gray look. I will continue to dye my grays until I'm really old. I dont get why young women purposely dye their hair gray!

Cheryl Henninger: I let my hair go all gray (August 2018 until September 2019) and it felt great...until I got fired from my job by an office manager old enough to be my kid (and the company CEO's daughter). I was crushed and hit the box again. I might let it grow out, I don't know. I'm still unemployed and am somewhat self-loathing. Bring on 2020.

Denny Benz: Can’t get rid of my grey hair because of fashion. Love it and will embrace it at 67

A Little Wheiser: What's in is whatever I have on my head right? All the crazy " looks like a perm hair" never went out of style. God gave it to me so it's always been in. I've just learned how to get it cut and style it thanks to the The Curly Girl movement. And I thank them for that. ❤

Kathy Heape: It is nice to see more natural trends are back!!!

Diana Shepherd: I’ve been wearing my natural gray and wavy/curly hair for a while and it’s nice to see I’m part of the hip crowd now! Haha!

lizz0id: My natural hair color is what most would call “greige”, silver or ash blonde. I always hated it because I always thought it made me look much older. It felt nice that it was trendy (maybe it is still?), but also felt like a sucker for always wanting to change my hair for years. Although it wasn’t all that bad. Sometimes we need a little change to see what makes us feel like ourselves the most.

QuickSilverHair: Awesome Veronica. My mom sent me the link this morning. So glad I’m on trend finally. Just took me all my life to be silver and natural wavy curls. Sharing.

Susan Bame: Ah! I am in style, finally! Iʻve never dyed my hair and itʻs growing in gray in places. I wash my hair with Zum soap once a week, let it dry naturally without heat, get one haircut a year, cut straight off, and most recently donated 11" of my hair to Wigs for Kids. They only take unprocessed hair. I was thrilled to be able to do that.

Corine Beverly: I turned 66 on June 5 I feel empowered & haven’t dyed hair since 8/2019 whoop I’m loving my silver can’t wait for total grow out ‍♥️

Paula King: I’ve had long grey hair for years!, and people liked the look!..I’m a very fit senior, healthy, and have patches of pink throughout the long strands just done recently and simply love this pretty pop of colour in my long hair!...I get more compliments then ever!...GOD bless in JESUS name!

Monica: I really like all the new hair styles but I LIVE by, do what YOU want whether it's hair or fashion. Do what's MOST comfortable & what YOU like for YOURSELF because after all, we are all individuals

Bruce Campo: If it looks good on you then it's in style that"s all there is to it

Linda G: I love the way hair trends are going!!

Amy Kimball: Yay!!!!!! My hair is naturally curly so I’m letting it do it’s thing and so happy about it!!

marian frances: I think people need to be kind to their hair. Healthy hair is something to be proud of...

Sevi Regis: Good list, thank you. I've recently wanted a 70's shag, cool to know its trending

Char del: Lovely video. I am 63 (64 late January), and am very grey as I haven't dyed my hair for 11months. Love it...it is very freeing as I do not have to worry about the roots showing anymore. I actually wrote a poem about it that was published in a neighbourhood magazine.... Also emailed it to friends and It's amazing that everyone feels the same way. Though everyone is not ready, they admire those who have started. It's called...(wait for it....drum roll... da dum...), Going Grey.

Margo Doughty: 56 and silver white hair that shines! Best thing I ever did for myself 5 years ago was to through out the hair dye and the shag coming back yes!

megan S: Excited that a natural look is in! Styling is a pain in the bum!

Karla Doane: Now I know why an acquaintance of mine who's a hairdresser said he would not do anything in my hair. It's turning lt silver and I'm.a li blonde so the transitioning is not too terribly bad. Plus the fact that I've been coloring my hair 30-some hears and it's not helping thinning fine hair. The new hair growth obviously feels quite healthy compared to the colored stuff. Unfortunately on my fair skin though gray makes me look a bit older

Alexia Spiteri: I have 1c/2a/C/iii hair and I'm SO GLAD I don't have to curl it or straighten it to look decent now! It's a struggle maintaining my not-straight-not-wavy-not-curly, wheat-textured, weird-looking, poof ball of hair on my head.

Elizabethann Ferrario: Hi I have a silver bob and I love it ! Perfectly straight blunt cut below chin level , but I do have two real hair , pieces one being a pony tail ! Great for a change , I have below eyebrow bangs or as we say in the UK a fringe ! When I was a young lady my hair was a very dark brunette but always had a bob but a shorter version .

Kat W: vivid colors are probably never going to die out lol, especially not in the alternative community

Ríta Geïn: Who cares what's in style? Have your hair the way it makes you happy.

Linda Ortero: As we age or our hormones fluctuate your hair texture can changes. Weird thing is it can happen all over you head or appear in certain spots. Some of these new hairdos for 2020 are the perfect solution. My issue was on the nap of my neck on the right side my hair began to grow out brittle and frizzy. It was so frustrating because my hair now was out off balance. I was forced to cut the opposite side to keep my hair from looking lopsided. I love longer hair. So I was frustrated . I read you could use little braids to protect the fragile brittle frizzy whacked out hairs. That didn’t last long, I considered getting the underneath hair shaved na not me. I trimmed my hair once again began taking collagen capsules bought a brush with red laser lights so my hair seems to be responding to these simple treatments, yeah. Also on Amazon they sell clip on long hair pieces. I’ve been using them for years to beat the heat in Florida. You’re able to use heavy conditioners to the underneath parts of your damaged hair and you can look stylish to. Just a thought or a tip for us older or younger females who love their long hair.

avi gold: who cares if its in or out.if you like it then for you its in!

Janet Duncan: I'm contemplating a French Bob. I'm getting older also, and not ready to go grey. I have healthy hair because I don't over process it. I'm ready for a refresher, but nothing extreme. I've never been a fan of rainbow hair, or bright colors all over. I've always liked a more natural look.

ᑎᗩTᗩᔕᕼᗩ ᕼEᗩᖇT: Natural hair , no heat , no chemicals ! Tons of home made hair mask for all families to make and enjoy. I love making aloe vera hair mask having my hubby rub it into my scalp :)

Beth Luna: Don't take lists seriously, do whatever you want!

singergrrl77: Love them! Ty for the like! I actually just got a shag lob haircut w Paris curtain fringe my friend told me it looks very Debbie Harry so you are spot on!! Bc my hair is fragile I usually just wash and go using my natural wave as a guide w curly styling products.

Shalena Ali: I especially like the blunt bob look but i don't know how to explain this to my hairdressor. I feel like the hairdressors in my country are very old fashioned so it will be difficult for them to get it right. I totally loved this video. Thank you for making it. Always interested to see what's trending. Please keep making them.

DeneenTB- Christian Clarity Coach: I guess the trend for short silver hair has caught up to what I have done for over 10 years. I get compliments daily and would have it no other way.

Joan Adolphe: To be honest we always rock any of these..no matter the year

becca joan: i stopped coloring my hair about 2 1/2 years ago! Cut it all off (it was long) and was shocked to find I love my natural color with lots of white &silver hair smattered all around my head!! LOLOL! It's taken over 2 years to grow it out to a bob and I'm very happy !

Gloria Brown: I never tried to dye my grey hair. So glad more women are going grey.

biggy heart: I gave up dying my hair 5 years ago. My natural high lights are now white the rest silver. It is also waist length and I get many compliments on it. Pixie cut on a young woman is beautiful, but once we get 50 have a double chin and jowls too often a pixie cut makes a woman look like an old man.

Anna Rundquist: So basically a natural look for hair, whatever complements you and less processing is the trend. Works for me. I have naturally curly/wavy hair that is black with grey showing up here and there. I don't have time for salons, etc so I haven't had a proper cut in ages but I plan on putting chunky blue streaks in my hair because I WANT TO. I may not ever color my hair completely but if I do it will be because I want to and not because it is "trendy" . I think every woman should wear their hair as they like it PERIOD! Love the video Silver Foxy. I can't wait to see what else happens in the hair world :D

Gayle Smith: the whole idea is to give you an idea of trends if you're looking for a change!

Rachelle Kebaili: I think French bobs are super in at the moment as well but love this video. I agree with all of these. ❤️

keep smiling: It was time for simplicity in hair fashion.

Connie Powell: Naturally gray hair, I am already there. Would love it in an all over curly do. That will be my new look for 2020.

thefryinator: I wanna try the long, shaggy pixie so bad, but I do love a cute short pixie too, been dying to chop my locks

The Adrenalized Artist: I love that big natural curls and grey hair are in because that is naturally what I have, but I still see so much rainbow, unicorn, brightly dyed hair still until I don’t see that fading away just yet

Nicolene Bruyns: Im so happy about the face framing layers, all the bleach broke my hair into layers...theres hope!!

Lynn H: I gave up on what's in and what's out yrs. ago! I wear what I like, I eat what I like but in moderation and I wear my hair the way I like too. It took me awhile to think this way but how freeing it's been!

Deb Less: My curls are not a trend. They are an expression of my genes and not going anywhere, fashion be damned.

Free2016: I'm glad to know the rainbow and crazy colors are going away. I'm ready for the beach wave to go too, it RARELY looks good because few people know how to achieve the look. Excited to see the long shag making a return.

Anti Social Extrovert: Life's to short to follow trends. Enjoy life, simply being you.

don cameron: I love bob hairstyles but pretty curly hair styles are my favorites and I like growing my hair long enough to be curled or being washed and styled with the curling irons or round brushes!

Tara Moss: Thank you so much for the shout out on my article! I love the Silver Foxy support group.

Ellen Schwarz: Thanks Vectoria for sharing and for your work and for your time to make Videos wish you all the Best for 2020 ❤

Loving your Lifestyle: Hair trends come and go. We still like that classy sassy haircut. We like hair cuts that is manageable, with just enough color to bring out the best look. We want a stylist that can suggest the look for your features with a soft glow and shine.

Vanessa Hedgepeth: Glad to see the rainbow hair going, never liked it, felt like it was clownish. Love natural looking color.

Donna Ocasio: It’s best to work with what your hair wants to do than to fight with it . If it wants to be wavy go with it and don’t straighten and flat iron it and so on.

Stanka Kordic: I have never dyed my hair, and am 4 years into embracing my natural curly/wavy texture. My friends always lament that their hair ‘isn’t as pretty as mine...wth?’ this is based on a 1/2 (at the most) of root growth?? Hogwash! Nature has balanced our hair color to our skin, why not trust that and go for it!

Castiella Gabriella: Mine now is the natural look, with natural curls. Proud to own the looks

yeah ray: It’s the 20’s so I was hoping for a short flapper, bob, wave, slicked down style to burst out

Lorraine Green: My short bangs are me. Sorry they are not in style any longer, but mine are staying! Enjoyed your vid!
