We are here with our fab life, friends, hair master ken Davis, and we are talking about what's new for spring, for your hair love, love having you, you always have the best tips and tricks so tell us, you know, with with Fashion Week being over and the Awards season are there new trends that have come out of that that we should be kind of incorporating, definitely there's a lot of amazing trends that we look to the red carpet as well. As you know, the runways fashion week and all that stuff and the thing we're seeing is texture. It is all about texture, everywhere, you're looking and that's really trickling down from the runways to the red carpet, and then it makes it into mainstream. So it really is about getting to know your natural texture and embracing it and really just living with it. The other thing we're doing is we're kind of growing hair out a little bit, even at your length, we're doing more blunt edges. We keep it really modern, where we cannot out of like the love and that kind of layered shape, we're going into a little bit longer more blunt edges and then we're doing a lot of braiding twisting it up, and with that natural texture I mean you guys Are right on point after texture, what you love and then working that into very personable shapes that mean something to you, creating your own signature, but what it's like streaming does that mean big hair? Like I love that you say the guys, I don't want a lot of texture. Texture is the texture of your hair, whether it's fine, whether it's cause for there's a medium texture, the texture of your hair and then there's hair type, which can be curly straight wavy, and you want to work with your natural hair texture end type. I work off of all naturally dried hair. I don't blow dry anybody and go out in the salon we will for a haircut, but when I'm standing somebody for red carpet event, I don't blow Julian. That'S amazing. I'M sure this is something interesting. You know every year, there's always a new sort of trend in color, whether it's ombre or here no biolage or one or unicorn we're colors. But is there anything new for spring this year? One thousand percent. We definitely haven't seen the end of the kind of faded, pastels, we're still fading away with that one huh. What are they doing differently than we've done in the past? Is we normally go to lighter a little bit more pale in beige year, we're going richer, so even your Browns and your blondes are more rich they're, more luxe, their luxurious and deeper in color we're going for a more luxe color, which is contrary to what we Normally do for spring/summer, but all about luxurious, looking here alongside alright, so you actually have two models here today you have tomorrow, yeah favor looks so some of the things that we're seeing on the red carpet and on the runway that we really love is braiding and Working it into your own signature, so she has amazing amazing, killer, hair, great balayage, the colors amazing. So all we did is braided this up working with her natural texture and giving her a great signature. Oh, my god, I do on your own, so doing the fishtail braid. Normally you take four strands, but if you take three strands and then just take one strand on the outside each time, not four strands three strands, I can show you really quickly. You'Re, just taking one light piece from the outside, I see one fan it out very well. We saw the pic this on the red carpet, hair down with natural texture behind the shoulders. You know coming into spring. We think ethereal hair and that kind of very you know in the flower guard and all that kind of stuff. So there I was saying that, for fashion for trends, you like much more romantic, you like less structured and like a little less like Spears and the same with hair love it all right, love ya! Go next, so the top knot is still all the rage. Absolutely so a finding way represent. Thank you Thank finding ways to change it up and do a little bit differently. So what I'm doing for spring is actually taking the top down a little bit further back so that it's a little bit of a loose or more casual, feel and leading some of the hair down. So half up that looks like a bump. I love the bum, but it's just a great way to work with your natural texture. This is great for spring/summer, as you can see, and it's just really beautiful easy effortless look. I look like anyone could do this. Anyone to do this, but this would work from the runway to the red carpet to running around to the beach with your friends. That'S amazing! Well, thank you Ken! So much for being here, we love, love, love so be sure to check out kids. Hair product ranges. You are beautiful brand and grab his tips on fab. Life show calm, you
