How To Do The Sexy 'Wet Hair' Trend

Welcome back everybody 942, so when Hollywood's biggest stars need sexy hair, for you know those photo shoots. The red-carpet event there's one guy on everybody's list, this guy right here, Chris Appleton, celebrity hairstylist. Before we get going we're going to show some examples of your work there. You are working on Jennifer Lopez, then there's Katy Perry. Do you top off her hair already nice did you know I didn't okay, you're, not responsible delighted and then we're talking today, specifically the wet mermaid, look that he did on Kim Kardashian. So today, you're going to tell us how to achieve that, what mermaid look? Okay, our lovely intern Madison. Once again, she took you to not be on camera right into this. Okay, so great here's a picture everybody! This is what Madison was like this morning when she walked in Wow. She won't go but up yes and then we have half of her hair done already, which you can see right there yep and now we're going to finish the other half. We are there's a nun so pleased to be showing you this locals. You know, you don't know how many times women stop me and they're like. How do you do that? Beachy Miami wet look pair because feel it it doesn't yeah. This is what I want to say when I first look at her. I was sure that when I touched her hair I would feel that crunchy as out look right. It'S going to go front, she kind of thing, so it's super soft, very moist, very, very nice. She'S very much I was saying actually this look is all about. You know that kind of one time a year that you go away and you get out to sea, maybe you're in Miami to get up until you've been there for a week, so you've got a tan and your hair just looks hot, it's like where it's sexy. It drives nice with enough, and this is how we do it exactly. This is how you do it. Okay, so, first of all, what we do is we prep the hair, I'm using the color well one-minute transformation cream business, perfect, that's feeling the cuticle and giving the hair a great shine from storm ticket is there. This is all on wet hair, guys so make sure you has washed clean, ready to go and then I'm going to mix it with a pop and lock. This is also by color, while I London name the pop and lock okay, rosters are versus know. Even the name is so funny. Okay, so load it up, make sure you put a lot of products in your hand, so this is on wet hair. Make sure you let it or put it all the way from the Hat you're saying you want kind of that gritty product kind of feel and maintain the curls honestly. For me, this is almost like a tube of love. It'S like you're, given the hair love. This look is all about preparations. It'S all about the foundation. What we're going to do once we put the product in is we're going to take two sections of hair more than a twisted intersection, so literally twist it around your finger. May I help you, please do get in there twist! Aha! Now, if you had really straight, you want to take smaller sections of hair because it will give it more wave and more movement if your hair's, naturally curly just take bigger sections. As I said of twist it around, this helps to keep it contained and stops it going like a fro, crazy that'd be perfect. You know, which is a great look. I love that right, but they look exactly got quite nines. It is quite slim shape. So if you'd be kind of crap, what's the obsession of everything mermaid, these is, I think it's just a hot look, babe just a bra, so everyone wants to be a mermaid okay, you've seen this before, I have seen a. What is that photo? I don't. This is a diffuser now this is the contraption that most people get when they buy a dryer and it sits in a drawer because they're always like, I only know about yeah in my drawer. I usually do usual yeah the girl that hasn't yeah. How do you, what do you do it? I think what this does is it? Basically, it dries the hair in a much more kind of compact way it kind of compressed into hair. So I'm going to show you now as you dry it. It doesn't make the hair frizz it keeps the hair calm, so grab that little or no exactly grab it at the drawer and dry, your hair with it. If your hair is really straight, it will give it a natural texture that will give it some life kicks and some fun I'm going to show you without what it will do on your hair excited. Oh wow, you crazy, like blowing it out, which is great for big hair and the blown right, thank God, but it's not great for weight loss about the blown other blessed loads. You'Ve been black okay to drive a sack, and why are you drawing the Hat with it with your fingers? Okay, so the products drawing into the hair, but as you can see as it dries, it still looks wet and this look looks wet. It'S not actually work, but keeping to remember when do we use the actual contraption this that this is my secret school? Just take random sections, you don't need to be going right. We have 30 seconds left. Okay, so take the section of hair drop out in the figure of 8 up and down, and then you ready there's your mommy wave. It gives it a really beautiful London wait once you do that, while you're doing that, let's show once again the original yeah okay. Well, this was Kim Kardashian and, let's see yes, not a good luck, pretty clothes! Really, not very nice! I'M going to finish it with a little bit of invisible oil as well, just give it a bit more Sun, okay and then there's Madison in the morning when she walked in and Madison now, she's gone Hollywood on us very glamorous, very good, all right all right! This is great thanks. So much I want to see you both this low all right. Well, here I thought this is gorgeous. Oh yeah go for it, I'm so glad. I know what to do with this now.
