ABOUT ME: Hi guys! My name is Alyona. I was born in Russia. I'm a musician. And I love art, makeup, fashion, style and beautiful environments. I love playing with makeup and fashion, but at the same time, I’m quite a minimalistic person. I don't like the idea of being fixated on the body too much. I have an alternative and unconventional viewpoint on beauty, the body types and face shapes. I love helping other women find their "it" and finally discover their beauty and boost their confidence.

I have several series on my channel that you might be interested in such as: Body Types, Contouring, Makeup History and Makeup Transformations. Also some random beauty hacks about skin care, hair, nails and beauty in general.

Hi guys so continue my serious ask Ali. Will you submitted your question in this forum? Today'S question I picked it's by Anya she's asking what hairstyles suit someone with a very obvious widow's pip. Now we don't speak, it's a pretty high and sometimes like a zigzag form of the hairline, and sometimes it is also happening along with a with a bigger forehead loads of hairstyles, like almost every hairstyle would say that the only hairstyle that would slightly exaggerate it is When you make your hair sleek on the back and you don't make any parting, so in this case it's just clean, it's clear and you can see that I think it gives some drama to the face and I love when the face is opened and I have Been a forehead like that, it's just very beautiful Thanks that can still make it less visible, our first of all baby hair. If you pull baby hair down here - and you just fix it with something like maybe even brow gel can help you that you fixed them slightly down here. That will just blend that line, then just natural hair style just make your parting somewhere, and just let your hair naturally go down like hippies did, for example, that sound is when they did that central party that closes pretty much everything and it just falls down on The sides of the face, if that's comfortable for you, some people, don't like it, because it sticks to the foundation now any kind of headbands also would look great. You put that headband right there for so many people. It looks so amazing. They started using loads of hair bands, I think in the 60s it became like a super super trend and then they had that back calming on top and then slightly lifting up their top of the head and they were like calming them straight or just made them Very curly, I think that was super cool now banks along banks, but in this case I don't think that you have to cut bangs only to serve your Widow pick because it's not about that right. So we don't make our look around one or two insecurities that we have right. It'S not. Why we'll build our look. It'S it's totally opposite, we'll look at something that you have. That makes you you makes you very unique and very cool, and we just emphasize it, and we build our look around that. So I would not cut things just because for that some people just cut things just because they think that they have big forehead, and I just don't understand why they do this, because for some women it just like the whole bangs idea that kind of base, especially Short bangs, like girls things it just, doesn't suit their like their vibe they're, not only facial proportions in their bone structure, their vibe, their style, their everyday style, sometimes what they are doing. They'Re building their whole look around this big forehead that somebody told them that they have bigger forehead than normal people would never notice any like Widow, Peaks or big foreheads and small foreheads. It'S not about this. I have a bunch of videos about the veins, so you can watch that and maybe as a guide it can help you a little bit more to determine the vibe of the banks itself and what it does to different kinds of faces. I'M gon na leave the links down below also and also believe it or not. I think bun on top also will look amazing, even if the hair is very sleep. So what is happening in this case bun ill engaged the whole silhouette anyway. So it looks like it was just slicked up like that, and it just was elongated on purpose. You have this bun yeah, just bleak hair. Here you have this bun. Even if you have super asymmetrical here forget about it, don't worry, even if you have super big contrast between your skin coloring, your hair cut. Don'T worry it's gon na look very interesting, but again, buns like it also will depend on the bone structure that you have on the flesh type that you have and all those things. So it's more about still about the body types, but not about the one single problem, so try that and see how it works. Thank you so much guys for watching, and I will see you in one of my next videos.

Claire Kurdelak: “We don’t build our look around one or two insecurities” yes, thank you, again, Aly!

sandra morales: Quite funny how society establishes absurd beauty standards...I remember as a child wanting a widow's peak because I thought it was really elegant and admiring hooded eyes and thinking it was like having natural eyeliner.

Emmxyzzy: I've wanted a widow's peak since the first time I saw Fran Drescher. They just instantly give me a vibe of natural, classic beauty.

mrscott43: I like widow's peak on others. On me I think it looks like I'm losing my hair. Thanks for being so positive, Aly!

Keah Creations: I have a severe widows peak and I’ve always looked for solutions. Sadly I felt this video was more empty platitudes than actual advice.

SocietyNeedsToCrumble: "We don't build out look around one insecurity." Allow me to introduce myself...

jazura2: Sometimes it's difficult to wear the hair to one side because the windows peak flights against it. I have always had that problem.

Bogdi: I have this!! I didn't even know it had a name. Also a big forehead and a cow lick right there in the middle. I just recently started to embrace my hair line, I was ashamed of my sides looking like I was getting bald which ofc is not the case as I was like this my whole life.

Lux: Widow's peak is so pretty! My mother, grandmother and great-granfather has it, but unfortunately me and my sister didn't inherit it, only the big forehead from our father

Mali Cia: I love my windows peak. It makes me look like a movie villain.

Đinh Nguyên: I had straight bangs for all my life because when I was 5 my father told me my forehead was so big nobody liked me. I'm 22 now and I am glad that I found you. I'm still a little insecure about my giant forehead but I will try a new haircut in the future. Thank you Aly.

Tallis In Wonderland: I always thought my widows peak meant I had extra hair in the middle of my hair line I never saw it as a negative but more of a positive.

tikto.ola: Widow pick is not always about high forehead, sometimes it’s on the contrary: it’s decreasing the forehead height so I would prefer to diminish the effect and show the sides more, so the advice of letting it split in the widow pick is decreasing the forehead height. By the way generally it’s high forehead that is improving someone’s appearance rather than low, because it’s generally associated with intelligence and genetic health

C B: I’ve always hated my widow’s peak. I’m trying to be not so self-conscious about it.

songbird377: Who else has a widows peak and a U shaped hairline that reminds yourself of Dracula when you slick it back? ‍♀️

Alexis Connelly: my widow’s peak is something I’ve always been a bit insecure about. I had hair growing from it that got long enough to blend it with my side part & then I got anxious and ripped it all out.. in the process of it growing back & I hate how when I pull my hair slicked back my widow’s peak has about 2 inches of hair coming from it now. I know I can learn to love it, but it’s difficult. I also have very fine hair and medicine I take for my eyes causes it to thin out even more. There are places on my head where hair didn’t grow back after hair pulling (it’s how I deal with anxiety at times) and yeah.

Asbestos Asbestos: I accentuate my widows peak with French braids. It's my statement look. I grew up loving my widows peak because I thought that it made me look like an elf. I had no idea some people hated having them. =(

_Marina_: You always have such amazing tips! Thank you so much for these videos!

Meredith Eades: Love this. I have one (with dark hair) and kids (when I was young) used to make fun of me because of it. It was an insecurity for years. I like it now.

May Summers: I adore widow's peaks and I've always wanted to have one. I didn't inherit my mom's, I was sad for a while about it. I think it looks unique and it adds dynamism to faces because of the pointed peak and the heart or M shaped curves of the hairline. I especially adore it when it is clearly outlined and on people with very dark hair and feline or Asian features, something about the sharpness and contrast looks elegant to me. It oddly reminds me of beautiful portraits of Japanese women and of vampires. It makes strong bone structures/sharp faces look even more defined, and it makes soft bone structures/delicate faces look more ornate. I think it adds dynamic drama and ornate sophistication to faces.

Sofia Matefi: I have one and I adore it , I would never think of hiding it!❤

esraemk: Thank you for that video Alyona. I have a widow’s peak with a very big forehead. To be honest I am most comfortable when I part my hair off-centered and then I take 3 centimeters wide hair stripe from both sides and attach with a bobby pin near to my ears. Also the rest of my hair falls to my cheeks and I think this style is also elongates the face! It’s very dramatic and kinda 60’s.

Beatriz: I have a slight widows peak and a big forehead I am a little insecure about it but this made me feel so much better. You always make people feel beautiful, this is the type of content that is worth watching!! Social constructed beauty standards? Never heard of them Thank you ^^

Funeraria: I just plug it out with tweezers, i look so much better after I'm done (the widow peak make my forehead look too small) and I'm planning on shaving it with lazer

Pipi's Podcast: how could someone be insecure about widow's peak? i mean i think it's absolutely cute and i wish i had it

시린: It would be really helpful if you made a video on finding your vibe/essence , I don’t know if it’s because I am in the transition phase (from teenage to adult, like I don’t yet feel like an adult but also feels awkward to be called a teen) I am 18 btw and I just seem to be into all different kinds of styles and aesthetics that I don’t know which one is for me? Please help out

E: I actually really like my widow’s peak quite a lot! Thank you for the video - awesome as always!

halat rebwar: three seconds passed since you uploaded this video, and i already liked it, as i know it will be quality content

SocietyNeedsToCrumble: I can't tell if I have a widow's peak or just receding hairline All I know is that I can't do a middle part, cause my natural hairline folds to the side.

Unneighborly Arcades: I love your rant on "building a look on insecurities". I think the world is sick and tired of style systems that tell women (and men) what they must fix so that they can look like the "ideal"-aka, like everyone else. I never knew a widow's peak was even something people felt insecure over. They're great for recreating Marilyn Monroe swoopy-banged hairstyles and other ones I'm not thinking of at the moment. On a side note: I envy anyone who can make their baby hairs work for them. I always just shave mine off.

Heidi Haeni: Thanks for your advice on not building our look around one or two features out of insecurity. One of my friends has a widow's peak. She compensates by wearing gamine style bangs, except she's not a gamine. So to make the bangs look as if they are her real vibe, she wears gamine style clothes, even though she's a flamboyant natural.

Rose Am: Please talk about what necklines and necklaces suit long, thin necks. Fun Fact: Humans and giraffes have same number of bones in their neck i.e., 7 vertebrae.

Pubali Paul: Thank you so much for making a video on this!

leanna sanchez: I got bangs but not because I was trying to hide my forehead, I just think they’re cute. If I want a no bangs look I can easily pin them to the side or straighten them with a flat iron and blend them in with the rest of my hair. I learned to trim them myself when they start getting too long. I’ve had bangs for fourteen years! It’s a look that I really love.

AKHAMLICH Mayssane: Great tips as always love your oulook! I would love advices for clothing for bodytypes like mine as I’m very short but instead of a delicate frame I have large sharp shoulders. I can’t figure out what type I am bc of this contrast & don’t know how to make it harmonious

Sihem Rifiia: I miss your makeup transformation videos will you do that again ?? You are so talented!!

Bonnie Ramirez: Hi Aly, I have a tiny forehead with a big widows peak. I feel most comfortable with bangs my whole life.

Hale Bop: THANK YOUUUUUUU I have gone 22 years without knowing what to do with my hair

Mary & Bern O L: I have no idea what to do with my hair lmao it's a wild beast, untamed and gorgeous imo but the hairline + my face being pretty crooked makes it a challenge. Growing up in the 00s I had some crazy bangs and I'm really trying to get away from it, and I LOVE the idea of taming baby hairs with product to shape my hair better. Gonna give it a try

Marissa: Aly, could you do a video on alternative styles for body types? Hair and clothing styles?

la fan de nuel: I didn't like it, so while middle and high school I pulled those hairs with tweezers. After a few times, they didn't come back. I've been thinking many years on doing the same to the peaks of hair on the sides of my forehead. But I don't dare to.

Army that goes Moomoo: I have a widows peak and my hair is very dark brown and wavy, and since I'm pale, it's hard for me to feel comfortable in making looks. I get excited when planning an outfit but then I use bandanas or cut my bangs just to hide my widows peak, my mood dampens and I'm just like "ok the fit is cute but hair will be the same as usual so why try". It's a bit annoying cuz I have dark eyebrows too and of all my features,my brows are one thing I feel so secure about yet since I'm insecure about my widows peak, I tend to use my hair to cover it. Watching this video makes me think that I do need to boost my self esteem more higher and that I should stop building looks around my insecurity. I personally want to try the "Camila cabello bangs" with the part in the middle leaving the middle of my forehead exposed, so like that I can get used to wearing my hair loose without relying on covering my forehead. And with layers maybe it'll look good since I have wavy hair? Idk but this video is giving me ideas. Thank youuu, really enjoyed it❤

Mika PH: amazing advice! i would love to see a video on overweight dramatics.

Catherine O’Brien: Everything you do is perfect

Susan Feller: I'VE HAD ONE SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL AND HATED IT CAUSE MY MOM SAID IT'S A BEAUTY MARK AND EMBARRASSED ME BY PULLING MY HAIR BACK SO EVERYBODY SAW IT, BUT WHEN I GOT OLDER AND HEARD THAT CHER AND OTHER FAMOUS WOMEN WERE PAYING LOTSA MONEY TO HAVE THEM SURGICALLY PLACED CAUSE THEY WANTED THE BEAUTY MARK I FELT BLESSED TO HAVE MINE. I PART MY HAIR ON RIGHT SIDE AND IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!! ❤

wayamaya: I have long, curly hair, so my hair looks really better when parted to the side, but since i have a windows peak, my forehead looks extremely huge and pointy when i part it like that

Rebecca Jordan: I love this tousled hair on you!

Vanta Black: I have a sixhead and a widow's peak, my hair never naturally hangs. It's either ponytail, bun, or sideswept and down.

Vane Mb: I used to have a widow's peak but I tweezed it off till it didn't grow back. I grow up in the 80s with a lot of insecurities about my hair :(

rookie the Goat: I love my widow's peak it forms hair in heeart shape <3

VaddaHahn: THANK YOU!! Please do the next Video for short rectangular forehead!

T M H: Thank you aly. I miss your longer videos.

Lorelei: I have a widow's peak and a small forehead. I look best with a center part, according to my family and friends.

kawaiiElectro: I think women with delicate features manage to make a widow's peak look cute (think Marilyn Monroe), but unfortunately, I have very strong features (square prominent jaw, strong nose, etc.) and a very dramatic M shaped hairline which makes me look masculine (especially if I slick my hair back) and it always bummed me out. The only hairstyle I've found that works for me is to part my hair a half-inch from the middle and wear my hair down.

Elysia Lokes: Ima look like Dracula in a few years but I guess it's not so bad

Lenka: I always wanted to have a widow's peak. I think it's georgeous.

Maria S: To all the people embarrassed by their widows peak( I used to be and still am sometimes) I try to remember marilyn monroe had one!

taizoovfx: Hey! I’m trying to grow my hair out but I realized that my windows peak is a lot shorter than the rest of my hair. This is because my barber shaved my widows peak. Now I wanna grow my hair out and slick it back but then the widows peak wont be able to travel all the way back because its way shoter than the rest of my hair. What do I do?

nicole: i have a widow's peak and i have hated it for my entire life. I'm trying out new hairstyles that will embrace it and haircuts that will hide it haha..

Rose Am: Please do a video on perfect nude lipsticks shades.

math god: Great video as usual!

Carol Alvarado: Aly you are always so sweet and conscious about your words :) Muac

R: I love my widow peak, mine isn't as much visible as the pictures you showed, but it's definitely there! I believe it is very sexy (I'm a woman) very dramatic and super hot, vampire hottie vibes

Alannah Shubrick: Hope you're doing well and settling down and getting comfortable in the US!

Angel Trayco: In my family(maternal and paternal sides) only i have a widow's peak, i don't know who's side i got it from because my mom don't have it and my father is bald... I have a hard time styling it so i just secure my hair with a ponytail everytime... And i have a pretty big forhead haha

CJR G: Aly what is my real skin to tone? I try to figure out my undertones but it is so hard. I stand in front of a window to get natural light but the weather changes all the time..making my skin tone and undertone seem cooler or warmer...should I try when it is cloudy, Sunny, or clear?

fairy snow: My mother have a beautiful widow peak am jealous she didn't pass to me ❤❤❤❤

anmi: I have one and I love it! My forehead is small though haha

Copper Colored Libra: I us to wear bangs as a kid always had a widows peak I got teased about my forehead and my heart shaped face. Now people think I look unique so I guess you grow into your features.

pitseleh: I literally have a widow's peak, a cowlick, square jaw, cleft chin, hooded eyes and purple undereyes lmaooo

Pink Cupquake: i shaved mine an hour ago and now the top part of my hairline looks like the one on a cheap synthetic wig

EarthSeed: So pretty. Thank you! Question/request... Would you do a Tattoos/Piercings for Body Types??

Lily Pond: Widows peak is so cool, I have a small round one, but kinda wished it was crazy like Mila Jovovich

Adela A: Please, talk about short necks. I really envy those beautiful long and thin necks ❤️

Xana K.: For me I don't like my widows peak. Not because of its shape but because it makes the sides of my hair feel very thin compared to the rest. Bangs don't work because there's not enough hair to cover the forehead and wispy bangs look bad on me. I have to just accept I've got a big for head with a widows peak and get on with life. It's just a for head and honestly who actually is going to look at me and give a crap? As long as I'm clean and groomed it's all fine :)

Fabia Karma: My widows peak is slightly to the right and isn’t a total triangle, more like a rounded off one. Kinda looks like I’m balding or have a wonky hairlineso I cover it up by pulling down my hair at the front

avayeh vasch: I always wished I had one!

Cecilia: Only Aly to make me accept my big forehead

tonkacat: I always wish I had a widow's peak! I just have a five head instead

Christine Q: Can you please make a tutorial on this hair? I have similar hair type as you

Reflections on literature: I know this is an old video, but what about a widow's peak on a middle to small sized forhead? As you can see on my profile picture I have a very sharp, small widow's peak so when I part my hair my forehead looks very asymmetrical and if I can't wear any hairstyle like a middle part because that makes my forehead so small What do I do?

Red: Can you do a body type video for different eras and styles because anytime I looks up stuff for romantic I just see 50s clothes

Trần Tuệ Minh: It's true that that high pony tail kinda look not so good on some people (me). I have M hair line, it looks ugly on me

N L: I was told I have a big one. As well as I was told I have broad shoulders. I think some people just want to bother us. I don’t care

Mia Milan: You look amazing as a blonde!! What made you go back?

angel: i literally shaved my widows peak off bc i got bullied for it a year ago now I'm scared to grow it out bc its just on my forehead i wish i would have seen this before smh

Katelyn Clem: I always thought a widow's peak was something people wanted to have...I have one btw lol

Marilyn du Kek: I am a romantic body type with a harsh hairline very similar toe the last2 picture. I feel like my hairline doesn’t suite my bone structure. I’ve been covering it since i was 15 I hate wearing my hair all the way back

Brianna B: When i was younger i couldn't stand my widows peak so i kept plucking it out until it stopped growing in. I don't regret it at all.

ilon ildea: How about ways to minimize as much as possible the big and wide forehead? Hairstyles , makeup, eyebrows?

Valentina Rodrigues: Can you make a video on tips on how to look like you are in your late 20s

MochaxMatcha: I WAS JUST LOOKING FOR TIPS FOR THIS

algol29: How can a guy change the part in his hair when it naturally parts in the center? I'm 38, and have never cared how my hair was, but now, the peak is so far down, I can't part my hair on the side. It's so bad, I thought I was going bald at 20, but that's just personal criticism I can't escape. My hairline has been the same since high school. I have hair down to my shoulders, and if I don't allow the natural part, it would look like I was losing my hair if I didn't have so much of it. Any help? I can never have short hair and go outside. I'd look ridiculous. Sorry if this sounds petty from a guy, but I'm tired of the same hairstyle.

Gabrielli Pereira Diniz: Aly, I would love to see which is the body type for Ariana Grande!

Emira Selimovic: How to remove widowspeak permanently?

Meredith: Ok, why is a widow’s peak a problem? I thought this video might be more about making the most of it, not trying to hide it. I have a widow’s peak plus cowlicks, no bangs for me.

Salma Ahmed: I wish you do a video about how to deal with big ears

Shizuka: I've a widow peak without baby hair on my square face and nothing suits me but my forehead is not big it's normal I think that's why

Grace Monica: Hii can u do a video on difference between romantic and soft gamine body type because both are allmost close and confusing .plss
