Hair Styles For Mature Women ~ Calista Perfector Pro Heated Round Brush Demo

I'm 77.... it's a process !! TODAY, I'm. styling my hair with. the Calista Perfector. Pro+. I had had. purchased one a while back that was the TSV on QVC and. it was defective. I waited for. them to come back in stock and here it is. I really do love it. I need a good haircut. Normally I have layers. cut into my hair and over the pandemic they have grown out. As I've trimmed the ends off of my. hair the layers have gone away.

Also, so sorry about my camera not focusing in the beginning of the video. xoxo p

Thank you so much for supporting my channel. I always say that you are the best subscribers on youtube and I appreciate you more than you'll ever know......patti

Hi everybody it's patti, rockstar mom and today i'm moving my mirror so that i can see it today we are going to be doing hair and i have my new calista. I think this is called a pro styler and if that's not the exact word for this, i will put it across the screen here and i will also link it in the show more, and i know you remember how to find the show more section or the Description box below this video, if you're on your any kind of device other than your laptop or your desktop, look for the little black era. Probably down here tiny click on it and it should open up the show more box for you so that you can see everything that's listed. I understand you can't see that if you're watching on your smart tv, i can't help you there, but i'll have all the information and when i told you about this before so many of you said, oh i found this. You know i found it for you patty, but no it wasn't this one uh, the one you were showing me had um it blows hot air. This does not blow any air whatsoever, and although now i've had this on for probably 10 minutes just getting things ready around here, but but you can see that this is warm. But this is not hot, but it does have the little end and you can change the temperature. Qvc did get them back and i ordered one and i've been using this now for probably about two three weeks with no problems whatsoever knock on wood. Now it does have a swivel cord, which i love, and this is the one and a half inch and i think there are two smaller sizes. My hair is freshly shampooed and i did uh just hit it with the blow dryer for a couple of minutes, and that's all i've done. Let me show you before we go into actually curling my hair. What i've used i've used the i'm still using this uh. The enjoy luxury shampoo and the conditioner, and i'm i'm enjoying those uh. I don't know that i would purchase them again because they're pricey uh i've always just used drugstore, shampoo and conditioner, and i have good hair. I mean i have. I really do have good hair. So i you know i just i was having some breakage from wearing a headband literally every single day i had breakage right around here and uh. That seems to have stopped. My hair is growing uh. Oh and listen. Let'S look at this i'm trying to decide. I bought the color to redo the color, but i don't know i am really liking my roots really liking them. Tell me what you think uh as i'm getting more and more gray. What'S coming through and again, i'm looking in my light in my mirror - and this is coming in pretty silver. So i'm thinking i am just going to not do anything uh and let it see. Let'S see what happens, i mean you can obviously see the line there, but okay uh, i shampooed it conditioned in the shower, and then i've been using this for probably two years. Maybe longer - and i love it, it works. Why change it? It'S the l'oreal blow dried, quick, dry, primer, spray cuts dry time and it has heat protection, and this is what it looks like that's the size of the bottle about the size of my hand and i buy it at walmart, i'm sure you could probably get it Most places l'oreal hair products are sold. I use just a little two three little sprays of this, and then i comb it through my hair, mainly what it does is. It makes my hair dry super fast. I mean super fast and then i always before i dry. It wrap it up in this one of these towels, which i need to find some new ones. So i have not even brushed through a lot of this, i'm just going to fast forward, but it really doesn't take very long for me to do my hair at all and my hair is pretty soft. So i think what i'm gon na do. First, is i'm gon na just get some of this up and by the way i've turned the ice machine off, so you won't hear ice dropping. We have that new ice maker, and it's in this bar. Where i sit and i'm telling you, i hear it so much that i don't hear it and when i go back to edit my videos, that's when i hear it so i've turned the ice machine off, but would you believe we're getting a new roof and the Uh now i've got the uh color callista pro styler, i believe, and normally what i do is i just sort of run it through my hair like this and twirl it now. Obviously, if you had shorter hair you would you would do something totally different. You don't want to get your hair hung up in this, but you can see how it curls - and i just do my whole head like this, but anyway the roofers are here. We have metal, roofs and uh, and sometimes i just twist pull it down like that. I just make sure my hair is combed out so that there are no tangles in it. We live in a building. That is three stories. Actually it's four, but the storage rooms are on the top and we're on the ground floor. So we're not getting as much noise as our upstairs neighbors and luckily right now they're. Well, that's! This is a vacation home for them. So they're not here right now, but you can see what i'm doing, i'm just basically curling pulling the brush through and twisting it as i go. If i had really short hair, this would be the best thing since sliced bread. I promise you. I watch those girls demo in this with short hair and you can, if you want to do it backwards, just there you go and if you want to get some curl up close to your head, just leave the brush close to your head for a minute. That'Ll. Give you some lift. As i said, you don't want to get your hair twisted up in this, be careful if it's long, you can really see my roots right there. I think if you know, if you're not good with a blow dryer and a round brush, this would be perfect and something else i really like about this. Is it really makes my hair shine? I can do this on second and third day hair and it just shines. I cut my bangs a week or so ago. I'M getting dangerous with the scissors um jim asked me last night. If i would cut his hair today. I'Ve been cutting his hair since the pandemic. He says he may never go to the person again who cuts his hair, i'm doing a pretty good job, but i did tell him that oops. I did tell him that if i uh am going to continue to do his hair, i need some proper scissors right now, i'm using craft scissors. So when he gets home from the golf course i'm going to cut his hair and then we are going to go. Get our flu shots. This is all there is to it. Now. If i wanted curl that was going to last, i would definitely get some big velcro rollers or some kind of rollers and put in it while it's still hot and let them sit for a little while, i think that's it now, you can see my hair is Super soft and super soft - i am going to put a little of this um tribal chocolate it's by tweaked by nature. I hear the roofers out here. They'Ve got big cranes uh right in our little back parking lot going up on the roof. Uh tribal is about tweaked by nature, and this is the tribal chocolate texturizing paste, and i have had this stuff this little tube for probably a year, and most of it is still here because you only use a tiny little bit of it just a tiny bit. It'S sort of expensive, but i guess, if you used a lot, it would be expensive, but cost per use is pretty good for me and that's about what i'm using right there. And i just if you want your hair to look piecey, but it definitely makes your hair look thicker, oh and this. By the way, this little hair tool comes with this handy dandy. Can you see it little thing and what this does is it gets the hair out any any loose hair that might be in the brush. Oh i'm liking this. What do you think so? The question for today is for the comments. Should i go ahead and recolor? My roots, or should i let it grow a little bit longer and see and get a better idea? I guess of what it's going to look like, i'm not sure about my bangs. I i thought i would like my bangs. I haven't really had bangs in a long time. I don't know if maybe it's the length. I was looking at some old videos of mine the other day and i used to wear this big sweep a lot and my good old, faithful, tresemme number four hairspray and i still have you know i travel with these little cans and i always have tons of Them, let's see what the back looks like now, i haven't seen the back i'll, see it when i edit. I would like to tell you that this is the way i'm going to look for the rest of the day, but unfortunately it's not because it's hot it's in the mid 80s. Here today we were face timing with our son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren the other day, and it was then six inches of snow. I'M gon na have to do something with these bangs i'll be back. I just realized. I popped a fingernail off better okay, that's it! The calista, i believe again, i believe this is called the pro styler and i will make sure that i have the correct name of it in the description bar, because i think you can get these. Maybe on amazon too, i'm not sure uh. The reason i like buying from qvc and home shopping is, for the most part they make returning things very, very easy if you don't like them or if they don't work for you or if they break uh own. You, like my last one, did and by the way you can change the temperature on this one. So it is off and there is my hair, i'm sure. By the time we go to get our flu shots, it will be in a ponytail or pulled back and a clip. So we could just sit here and play with it for a long time, headband you're going to ask from shin s-h-e-i-n or s-h-i-e-n i'll put that below too, and there are probably hundreds of headbands on there they're very inexpensive, you've, uh there's no way i could go Back and find this one, but if you're interested just go on and find the one that you like or ones they don't know me from adam, do you play with your hair much better, all right there? It is thanks for watching thanks for subscribing know that i appreciate you more than you will ever ever ever know each and every one of you. Thank you um, it's not so bad aging is it. You know we we we just very quickly. I i think we dread this aging process so much that we lose time precious time of enjoying our youth worrying about aging. Don'T worry about it. Are there things that are particularly funny about aging or fun about aging? Yes, yes, there are lots of things that aren't fun about aging, but it's just it's. Okay, it's okay! Just you know get up and be the best that we can be every single day, work with what we've got and we'll be fine, we'll be fine. If we're achy or sore or you know, we may have to adjust a little bit, but we just figure out how to adjust and we keep on going. We'Ve got this, we've got it, we've got it just live for today take every day, but the most important thing we can do is be kind. So just don't forget to go out and be kind. I love you i'll, see you soon. Bye,

Gloria Callahan: You know since I've let my hair go naturally silver I've had more compliments on my hair than ever in my life, most people say it makes me look younger! I have to agree and it's so much healthier. Letting you hair go naturally Silver is not letting your hair go, it takes care to keep it nice and that adds to your youthful glow and attitude!

Rosemary Purnell: You're such a pretty lady and an encouragement to us girls "super aging." Love your hair and think you'll look good with natural silver hair. Grew mine out during this pandemic and absolutely love my silver shinny hair. Colored my hair for over 40 years and feel so free not having to go to my stylist every six weeks for color. Go for it and don't look back!

Woman of a Certain Age: I stopped coloring my hair about 5 years ago and wish I'd stopped sooner. I LOVE my platinum silver hair and yours is GORGEOUS! Keep it. Also, your hair will be healthier and stronger without the color.

Lenaise Dove: Remember ladies - when you go natural as I have during quarantine- we all need to up the blusher and lipstick- deeper pretty colours look terrific with grey- your grey is soooo pretty and you’ll have less breakage too. Mine has become much stronger without chemicals.

Judy Rogers: Patti, I love you as a blonde. When I wanted to let my gray grow out, I found that I felt my look was too faded. The blonde in my hair gave me a glow, so I’m going to stay with blonde.

Bev: Patti I love your message! It’s OK! We’ve got this! I’m sure I’m not the only one who needs to hear this as I age. So thank you for that❤️ Why don’t you let your roots grow out some more just to see. Your hair looks lovely, love the hair band. Hugs❤️

Mary: I’ve stopped coloring my hair and finally have all the color off and I’m totally gray. I love my gray! Best decision I’ve made.

Cindy Damico: I use to color my hair blonde and like you when I saw how pretty my gray was coming in I let it grow out. Now I get so many compliments on how pretty my hair is. Looks like it has seen highlighted with silver gray. Perfect! Go natural.

C’ NEL: My 50 year old friend just let her blonde grow out. It’s the same beautiful silver you have at roots! Beautiful

Zsu Zsu: Well, looks like I’m going to be the one everyone hates with this comment. Patti, I’ve always loved the blond color of your hair. In fact I’ve looked through several videos looking for the exact name of the shade. Yes, your silver is lovely, but my opinion for myself and everyone else is that, although letting our silver grow out is so easy and such a relief if you’ve been coloring your hair for years, and thankfully it has become very stylish these days, but I still think going silver makes everyone look older no matter how beautiful they are. I will always color my silver for that reason. I’m not going to have plastic surgery for a face lift, nor fillers for my wrinkles so coloring my hair is the one non invasive thing I can do to try and feel youthful. I know I’m in the minority here, but just my two little cents. God Bless

L: I asked my hair stylist about letting my gray grow out. She said “You’ll be right back here getting your highlights again!” Of course she’s right. You are so gorgeous & young looking, stay blonde. Does your husband have an opinion? Sometimes they’re too smart to say but I’d bet he likes that blonde.

Ilona Campbell-Mihai: I love the way your hair is coming in and was pretty shocked when I decided to let mine grow out! It is still a lot of brown in it! Who knew! I was hoping for anything but brown. The ends are getting cut of little by little. If I don’t like it I can start all over again. At 77 I don’t want to look like a dowdy frump!

Kaddy D: This has been the perfect time to let your hair go natural....I turned 70 this year and decided that I wasn’t going to pretend I was a blonde anymore. My hair has grown in almost totally white and it’s so shiny! I have noticed that the contrast between my hair and dark colored clothing is striking, I actually feel more stylish than I have in years. I have opted for a shorter, but not short, hairstyle and at this point my hair is completely grown out...I am more than happy with my decision

Razzberriberet: I’m openly gray and I love the color. I actually used Pravana silver that matched my hair to my roots. I think you’d be happy.

Grā: Love it without the bangs! I’m 67 and my last hair coloring was in February! I also have long hair and am loving the gray, a combination of gunmetal and silver! I’ve gotten so many compliments just out walking the dog. So you know what my vote is! If I hate it in the future, I’ll color it again but for now, I’m loving it!

Penny Wheeler: I'm 68 and I left my hair grow out four years ago. I'm a natural blond and I always used the lightest blond color. When I seen my hair was turning a beautiful silver ash color I decided to never dye my hair again. Except I went to the hair salon had them match the closest color to match the silver gray. This made it easier too grow out after six months I had my hair cut shoulder length in a bob and I kept it like that for a year it then took a year and a half to grow completely out. But I love it and I'm sorry I didn't do it sooner. My hair is in the best condition. I love it. Its not for everybody....but it was for me.you will probably change your makeup colors. Not all.....but most woman use more purple, pink and red shades with a blue under tone. Young girls are spending big money to get that silver color. For mature woman they call it the new blond. ANYWAY ITS FREEDOM......LIKE BURNING YOUR BRA

Debra Berry: Love that brush. I am ordering one immediately! Thanks Patti♥️ Your roots looks beautiful. I am transitioning to my silver and I’m loving the silver.

Sloane Wolter: I think the silver is beautiful! I am only 26 but I have a lot of premature gray myself and I always go back and forth about letting it grow out. I always think silver is great on other people though.

Kathy GARBEŔ: My hair was very dark brown and when it first started graying it was ugh! But after a bit it got lighter , now it’s a white /silver color. It is a pretty color and I have granddaughters that love it ...they even get their hair colored to be like mine ! Girl , crazy ! But I’m like you we just live each day to the fullest and love one another and be grateful to be alive to witness a time such as these ! BTW Patti , my hair is thick n pretty long , what would you do with it ? Be blessed and favored sweet lady !❤️

Melissa55: Well, this looks so pretty. It turned out just great. Oh gosh, a hard decision to know whether to let the gray grow out or not. Yours is a really pretty color. You could always color it later if you don't like it. I really enjoyed this so much. Much love and stay safe, Melissa

Barbara Kreutzer: I LOVE your silver hair! I started going natural this past winter and I love it. Wish I had done it sooner. Thanks for this video. I’ve been looking for this type of curler!

Lynda Martin: I'm 72. About 2 years ago hair dye turned against me, so I had no choice but let it grow out. I was a natural Auburn with fair skin. I was afraid I'd look spooky. Surprise I'm silver/white & get lots of complements. Try it you may love it. Bless you pretty lady & stay safe.

jane odonnell: I'm loving my gray hair (I'm 70). I loved the "ombre" I had while growing out. Your blue eyes may pop with the gray. I would say just try it for a few months. You can always go back to dying it blonde! You have gorgeous hair and you are gorgeous, no matter what you decide! I love your spirit.

Cathie McGinnis: I am 73 and about 3 years ago decided to let my natural hair grow out. I hadn't seen my natural color in 40 years! I was so pleasantly surprised to see it was a beautiful shade of silvery white. I have had more compliments than I have ever had in my life! People are always stopping me on the street just to tell me how good it looks. Also they tell me I look like I am in my early 60's! I just love having the hair God blessed me with!

LINDA P: You are so beautiful! I love the silver coming in and your bang length is gorgeous! If you don’t like the silver after it grows in you can always color it again! I just bought this Perfector and am growing out a pixie. I’m struggling with the ‘awkward faze’ and if we weren’t in a global pandemic still, I don’t know if we’d be doing this!!! Loved finding your video Patti

Tamara’s Timeless Beauty: I loved your thoughts on aging at the end. We got this! ❤️

Tanya Wood: You do what makes you feel the most like yourself and the most confident!!! Aging is a normal part of living and I am happy to be aging, and I hope I can do it gracefully. I have chosen not to have surgery, botox, fillers, etc. I take my skin care seriously and protect it from the sun if I can, other than that I hope to enjoy retirement with my husband and live everyday to the fullest! Thank you for sharing this hot roller, I have not seen it. xo

Sharon La Tour: Pati, i let mine go silver too. I'm so glad I did. EVERY Body I know complimented me on how pretty it is. no slave to or upkeep on color any more. no more money spent on it either! I feel so free now and my hair is in really good shape, soft and it grows so fast now!!

Aryana Hartwell: During the lockdown, it was apparent my hair was a beautiful silver under the ‘color’. I shaved the back of my head and cut the color out of my hair on top. I love it. I’ve never had so many compliments on my hair! I wear it with confidence and sass. People say it looks like the real me. Well, cuz it is!

Sue Cone: I think the grow out looks great! When things closedown so much of mine grew out and it is white so I am letting mine grow out. I was doing the highlights & lowlights so my grow out isn’t to bad. I have that heated brush in the smaller size & I love it! I also have the blow dryer and I love it too. I am grateful I have great hair. Mine isn’t as long as yours, but it would take me too long to dry if it was so I have a bob and I love it. Thanks

Karen Smith: I am 69 and got to the point I just didn't want to spend the money and time getting my roots touched up and my scalp had become pretty sensitive to the chemicals. The old dye in my hair was not attractive any more and it was unhealthy. So I consulted with a stylist who had me let the roots grow out more and she used a non bleach to remove all the old dye below the new root growth. It was completely bright white. I actually loved it! Then is became more on the blonde side just from the elements in the air, etc. and once a week I use Loreal Serie Expert Magnesium Silver Neutralizing Shampoo from Amazon to brighten it up. I absolutely love it.

trixiegirlism: I couldn't live without my Calista. I've used the 1" barrel for probably 15 years. I have a 1 1/2" but never tried it even though my hair is a little longer than yours, but you've inspired me to get it out. I roll it up closer to my scalp and hold it for extra body because my layers have grown out since I haven't had a real haircut, except my own, for 9 mo. Usually I roll it up in velcro first, do makeup, and then take out one roller at a time and use the Calista on that section. The body seems to last longer for me that way. I get backups on ebay. I like what the tweakd did for your hair. Have you tried the pump Tresemme? For me, it's easier to target exactly where I want it to hit. Seems like you tried to grow out your grey a year or so ago and couldn't take it. But you might give it another try, the color of your roots is pretty. Laurie

Karen Longworth: I'm 74 . about 2 years ago I finally stopped putting color on my hair. Mine grew out very pretty silver . I think I've had more complements with this gray hair than I ever did before. So I think you might be happy with yours. It is so freeing. So between my hair and fingernail Im now saving a ton of money.

Chica’s Mama: Let it grow! My friend has hair very similar to yours...blond with silver roots growing. Hers is a more long layered. She’s letting hers grow out & it’s looking like highlights rather than grey roots! Really amazing

Patricia Neal: Patti, you will be gorgeous regardless of your color of hair!! I can only say what I found! I was happy with my gray at first but it began to look not so good! I recolored to blond and felt so much better! Just saying-

Rena Blythman: Hi Patti, I am 69 and I gave up dying my hair 20 years ago and I've never regreted it, let it grow and see how you feel, sliver hair can be so classy, xx

country girl: I love the silver... I let my hair grow out a couple years ago .. and Love the freedom when taking trips .. no more worry about coloring before traveling ...

LA Slim: I think you should go for the silver look. Gorgeous!!! love tweak by nature. Just got into it this year. I also have the Calista hair tool. Glad you mentioned not holding a curl. It looks good in the beginning and then goes flat. As always...be kind.

Mia Vos: You are so incredibly pretty once your makeup is on. I can't get over it! I can't use makeup around my eyes, and I think that is your secret - they way you put on makeup around your eyes. No matter what brand of makeup I use (and I've tried 100ds in my 70 years) my eyes end up red and tearing up. And to top it all you have beautiful thick and strong hair. I have thinning baby hair

Colleen McLaughlin: I am 57 and stopped dying my hair about 2 years ago. Never regretted it. I dyed my hair blonde, similar to yours. My silver is the color of yours. Very pretty. It is so liberating and with a sweet haircut, looks fabulous. I wouldn't dye your hair anymore. The root color is lovely. :-)

Linda Barkley: I colored my hair for years but once I retired I let it grow out and I love it. Also it's so healthy and shiny now.

Gerry Savery: Do the roots. Thank you for the review on the styling product. I saw it on QVC,& and was on the fence about it. I’m going to order it. Your hair looked beautiful, healthy, and shiny.

Diane Perez: I’ve tried 4 times to go grey, recently I’ve made the decision to finally do it. I’m 5 months in and love it, it’s so freeing. I’m pretty white and I really like it. I think you have beautiful sparkles

Bungalowgal: Yes, for sure let your hair go gray! Hair seems to naturally change color to match the complexion. I believe we tend to fall in the trap of continuing to do the same things color wise--hair, makeup, lipstick--from cradle to the grave. What worked at 20 does not work at 50. I decided when I was about 30 that I would not color my hair because I don't have the interest, the time or the money for it. I've had a gray swatch for about 25 years (I'm 69 now) that has progressed of course and I get many compliments on the gray. Also, gray hair does not take color very well I'm told so you may have trouble maintaining color anyway. No worries for you Patti because you are beautiful inside and out! Many thanks for the info on the Calista device...I was just watching Calista on QVC and became curious about what you are using.

Rere: I love watching you! Your so elegant and beautiful! You have helped me so much also! I love how your so honest and helpful! Yes I think gray hair does look nice but.... I personally love your colors you have now!I hope as I age I can look as beautiful as you or heck I'll take whatever I can to improve for myself! You have young beautiful features! I do love your blond on you. Thank you for all your help!

Janna Lynn: Re flu shots. I got my first senior flu shot this year and OMG did my arm ever hurt after for about three days, and not just at the injection site. A friend of mine is recovered from Covid and she got the senior flu shot and she had a violent reaction. Hope yours goes well!!! BTW, I think your hair looks awesome, wouldn’t bother with color!!!

Lil T: I love watching people doing their own hair. I hated seeing the block of grey regrowth so I got streaks in my hair (i was blonde-ish) that way it didn't show a prominent block when growing out then I got tired of going to the hairdressers and paying a fortune each time so I let it grow out. My hairdresser said people would pay a lot of money to have my colour hair which is sort of white/silver.....but secretly I would still love to be blonde!

MrRatherino: don't stop coloring your hair! it is your signature look!

Virginia Brayton: I had been throwing around the idea of going grey about 2 years ago. Then right before Covid hit I made it concrete and told my hair dresser I wanted to go natural. She helped me go that route with purple shampoo and keeping my hair trimmed so it tamed the brassiness. I don't have your beautiful silver grey but I'm still glad I took the plunge. One thing my stylist said that helped was, "If you don't like it or feel your not ready we can just go back to coloring". All that said..Patti...you have got the most beautiful natural color. I'd love to see what you'd look like all silver grey. With your hair... Oh my goodness...it would be amazing. ❤ Keep us posted on what you decide. Hugs and kisses to Biscuit. Miss seeing him. Love you and your channel. ❤

Michelle & Paul Taylor: Your natural hair color is stunning. Thank you for your channel. I love that you use products that the average woman can purchase. You are inspiring. I am 52 years old and I have never used foundation in my life but I think those days are over. I feel so homely I don't like to look in the mirror. My kids are not allowed to take pictures of me. I need to make a change and I need to do it now. Thank you for all of your advice.

sbrooks11: Love you hair! I had the same color but loved the silver coming in so I am letting it grow out with a blonde weave. And I'm really happy with it.

Teresa J: Patti, I have been taking advantage of the social distancing to let my 68 year old hair go natural. I love your roots. Why not go for it? I have a lot of platinum silver and I can't wait till than 2/3's of my hair is my new natural. It actually blends in pretty well with the blond highlights ...so far. I'll be keeping an eye on your hair!

Trinity: Hi Patti! Your hair is so pretty, blonde or silver. Both look great on you! You're right; you do have good hair. I've always loved your hair in all your videos. Thank you for showing the styler. Good info to know about it. Have a wonderful day! ❤❤

Sheree McCurdy: Absolutely agree with what u said about aging! So good to hear that!

Deb O: Patti, CONRATS on 100.000 subscribers!!!!! Love your videos and always look forward to hear what you're up to to. I hope to grow up to be like you some day. Keep it up!  -Deb

Jean Jacobs: Greetings Patti! You have such gorgeous hair! I recently purchased a curler similar to yours, but less expensive which I needed. My opinion is to let your hair grow out and then re evaluate. I think it's lovely. Love and blessings ❤️

Judy Haga: Hi Patti, hope you and your hubby are doing well. How was the visit with your daughter? I know you had a wonderful time together. I love the L'Oreal Quick Dry Spray also. It's great! As for letting your gray/silver, which is pretty, grow out, it's totally up to you and how you will feel looking at yourself in the mirror each day. The more gray hair that comes into my hair, well, I'm not liking what I see in the mirror. It's like who is that old woman. I use the L'oral Magic Root Coverup to cover sections of gray hair that have started to turn brassy. It works really well, no one knows. You might get a can in the silver color and spray on your hair to see if you like being silver-haired. It washes out so it's not permanent, but you get the chance to see if you like what you see.

Heidi Bennett: I love the silver. Its gorgeous with your skin colour. Grey is so on trend

Lu G: Miss Patti...I do *not* need another hair tool in my _collection,_ but I am going to hop on over to the Q to check it out because...Easy Pay! I actually love the color of your grown-out roots, but I'm a silver girl myself, so I _might_ be biased. Y'all have a great weekend! ❤️

Debra Durso: I absolutely love how you style your hair. I have always wanted to have long hair again. I did when I was in my twenties, but now I am 66 and have very short hair. I do try to grow it out.......but I always end up cutting it when it gets to that in between stage. Anyway, love listening and watching you . Thank you and stay safe and be well. ✌️❤️ Let it grow a little longer to see what it looks like before you color. You may really like it more silver. Just my opinion .

Lisa J: Your natural hair is so beautiful...it sparkles as does your beautiful soul through your eyes!! I think it would be so lovely all natural!!

michoumakes: I stopped colouring and my son remarked how lovely the grey was. Now my long hair is uncoloured and I'm amazed at the number of my subscribers remarking how they like my grey hair. I think your hair will look lovely grey. I love the styled hair.

Barbara Cook: The style now days among the young is coloring their hair silver gray or white gray. Either way you decide on the color, you'll look MARVELOUS! And yes, you do have good hair--- the softness shows thru.

animalrescuegeek: I let my grey grow out about 4 years ago. I get so many compliments. I think your beautiful eyes will really standout with grey. Ok, you got me. I went and ordered on of those tools. Take care-Hugs from MI-Sue

Woman of a Certain Age: Thank you for your beautiful pep talk about aging at the end. I agree 100%. I wish we could get rid of the words "anti-aging." I mean, if you are LUCKY, you get to age, right? So why fight with what is 100% going to happen? Accept it, embrace the positives (and yes, there are some) and enjoy your life.

Rescue Lady46: Your roots are pretty. You have great hair. Thank you for taking the time to share your informative videos with us. Going to order the pro + Take care. Stay safe.

Becky Berrett: I like the root color of your hair! Very pretty!

Donna Mastromatteo Devine: Go silver! Its so liberating and stunning . You will never regret it. Natural silver is so gorgeous. My mom just stopped coloring her hair and she actually looks better. She looks glamorous:)

Gail Bennett: I’ve let my hair go natural and I love it!

gail abbassi: What fun watching your video as you do your hair! Live every day and don’t worry about aging is such great advice! Yes I sure try cause time is so precious! You absolutely look darling with long hair!?You certainly don’t look your age I believe because Of your great genes and upbeat attitude!!! I stopped coloring my hair about 10 years ago as It was revealed that my hair was growing in a rather platinum color so I let it grow in and never looked back! You should try it as it may pleasantly surprise you! It sure saves time and money you can use for other beauty products or just for fun! You can always go back to coloring if u don’t like it! I am letting my hair grow long from a fairly short style during the pandemic. Yes I love fooling around with new hair styles. During the awkward length I have been using hair pieces which you set be up to do in one of your past videos. I love using the messy bun from Toni of Beverly as well as the pony tail! That company has best match to my hair. I also have tried a Rachel Welsh wig which is wrong color and style doesn’t suit me! Oops 150$ down the drain! I do think you should try growing out hair! I love your long hair and it can be styled down or in an updo. Sure enjoyed your video and you! Wish we could chat over coffee sometime!! Be kind to others and to me! Best advice EVER! I will add picture of my hair pieces if I can! See u next week! Gail from Mt Juliet, Tenn (Near Nashville) Loving the South!

Saxmanswife1969: You might want to consider blonde highlights in with the gray! I have a lot of silver in front, but the back not so much. The highlights bring it all together, give it some body and I don’t have to constantly have my roots done. Whatever you do it will be beautiful!

Tamara’s Timeless Beauty: I grew my dye out inch by inch (not easy!) cut the last off Dec 2019 and LOVE it. Grey is the new blonde

BJ LIVIGNI: DO NOT RECOLOR!!!! I did mine years ago and would never go back to color! What I did with my long hair was to put in silver highlights one time and that was it! Wallla I have beautiful silver hair and no coloring. Go for it Patti!

Bonnie Durham: I have that Calista Pro in a smaller barrel size. I, unfortunately, did not get as much curl or staying power as it was advertised on QVC. I'm sure the models had much more product in their hair than I use which helped with the curling demonstration. I can't say it was worth the price for me but I kept it anyway. Your hair is beautiful and I like the color of your roots. You can always color it if you don't like how it looks after it has grown out more. I really enjoy seeing you and listening as you share some of your life with us. You are a special lady. Take care.

Terry Hall: Beautiful! I am loving the soft, shiny look.

Lynda M: It seems to me your silver/white roots would look fabulous on you and after all you are already headed in the right direction!! I have the most beautiful long white hair I get compliments all the time on my hair much more than when my hair was dark. It is freeing and I love it as I'm sure you will, also!

Beverly Collins: Have you thought about having your hair colored platinum blond? I think that would be absolutely stunning on you. I was reading on the internet about shampoos and I came across one called Carol's Daughter, sold at Walmart. I think I paid maybe $16 for a 12 oz bottle of shampoo and 12 oz bottle of conditioner. I got the black vanilla. For dry, dull and brittle hair. No sulfates, parabens, artificial colors. With aloe, Sweet Clover, and Rose. My hair is so soft and shiny. I have underactive thyroid so my medicine makes my hair brittle. I was starting to get some hair fall and breakage, this has really seemed to help in just a couple of weeks. If somebody knows anything better I am open to suggestions.

Debbie Duffield: You'll know when you're ready to go gray. I did four years ago (at 64) and it was so freeing! No more bi-monthly colorings and gray roots!

Sally LaPradd: Your silver hair is gorgeous. After breast cancer chemo bald head, I decided I would keep it whatever color it grew back. It grew back it's dark brown with beautiful sparklers of grey. I love it & I'm keeping it. Your silver hair is beautiful.

Bex from Texas: I grew mine out, silver in front 100%, & about 75% in back. I really love my silver. But I must say, with my fair complexion it washes me out. Mine is long. Long is good. Length isn't determined by age anymore. Facial shape determines hair length. Let your hair grow to get a better idea I think. I miss the thickness and body hair color brings I must say. My husband wants me to color after I worked 6 yrs to grow color off:/ So we'll see.....

Jocelyn Rose: I'm fairly new to the YouTube world & am enjoying catching up on previous videos. Thank you for your time, tips, wisdom & kindness. BTW: your roots are beautiful. As with most things, 'let it go & let God.' He's certainly blessed you with natural beauty inside & out.

Bonnie: Your silver is beautiful! If you let it grow out, and you prefer it blond, you can always color it back. Love your channel.

Judy Ganoom: Patti, the way your new growth is coming in, I think your hair will be beautiful. If you aren’t pleased, you can go back to coloring. I started letting mine go natural when the Covid shut everything down. I had been wondering how my hair would look and now that the “color” is all gone, I love my new look.

Mary Reed: Hiya Patti! I enjoyed watching you do your beautiful hair. I do love your golden blonde hair, but you will be just as beautiful with your own color I'm sure. It's what you feel the happiest with , is what matters. And I have a feeling your Jim will love you either way.

Sandie N.: Such a beautiful silver color! Definitely let it grow out and see how you like it. I think it will be only to the very front. It looks like your roots are dark blonde, so that with the silver, will be beautiful! People pay big dollars for that coloring! You face is so pretty I would keep your hair off your face. The head band looks so good with it. OK......my 2 cents worth from a hair dresser.

Kathryn Grant Abernethy: Let it silver! It IS a pretty color, and the cost and time savings are amazing!

Virginia Brister: I'm 64 and letting my silver shine through. I follow Facebook....Beauty Reinvented for likeminded ladies for encouragement. I ordered the Calista. I think it's going to work well for me. Love you Patti xo

thebohobabe: Your hair will be beautiful any color! I think if you’re going keep it longer, color will help give it body and volume. The grey is so pretty as well but might need a cut to give it more texture. Love your top or robe!

Undefined User: I think your silver roots are lovely. The cool tone really compliments your complexion. I say go for it and no more dyeing!

Sheila Dale: Your SILVER is to die for!!! Keep it❤️

Kathy GARBEŔ: Patti ! On the other post I wrote I forgot to say ...let it grow a bit more. I bet you’ll love it because it will match your skin tone , Does anybody know if there is a after shampoo rinse for grey hair ? I used to see it before I was grey , now I don’t! Lots of love ❤️ from Tennessee

Mia Vos: The front part is usually a nice silver, but the back grows out dark and mousey. That's why I keep giving in and color my hair again.

Trixie R: I have had fine, thin, straight natural blonde hair all my life and was hoping that going gray would give me some texture. Surprise--- I am going brown, not gray! My sister has gorgeous, wavy, pure white hair. I used to spend a lot of time on my hair but now fool with it only if I have to make a store run. Sometimes, I just plop a straw hat or visor on and go about my merry way. Also, I can no longer stand the feeling of foundation on my face. Ladies, I am just going down the tubes! Tresseme hair spray is the best

Barbara Cossentino: Hi Patti. You could let your silver grow in a little longer. You can always color it if you decide blonde is better. Your hair is beautiful. It was so nice to see how you style it.

bev jo: I love your natural hair color coming through! It’s a beautiful silver color!

O L: You have amazing natural silver hair color. Not many people can pull that look off. ‍♀️ So pretty!

Karen S.: I guess you can tell by my profile photo how I feel about silver hair. It's been silver since I was about nineteen years old. I wouldn't change it now for anything, no dye for me. BTW, I ordered the Calista TSV device and wound up sending it back. It tangled my hair terribly, and I had to pull some of my hair out to free it. I read on QVC's web site reviews that many women had the same problem.

Jessica *beehivegirl1969*: Let your hair grow out !! So beautiful !!! ❤️

Liz: Patti, you’re just gorgeous and I think you should never ever go gray! Stay blonde as it suits you so well. Liz, xx from UK.

Christine Holbrook: I love the silver hair . It's so shiny. Im letting my hair go grey , and happily like you it's an even silver . You rock .xx
