Short Hair Cut Tutorial For Black Women| Beverly From Dallas Short Hair

Hey: hey, hey: what's up everybody, it's your girl, latisha Michelle and I'm so excited to show you this tutorial meet Beverly from Dallas. So this is her hair before she hadn't been to me in forever, because I don't longer do here in the salon and so she's been in Texas and she came out to California. She was like. I need you to give me my soft and silky haircut and she, of course, like all clients, do she had a picture and she was like. I want to look like this picture and I said Beverly: let's make this haircut that you love in this picture. Fit you and that's just what we achieved in this video. So what I decided to do when she came to me and California was to take her upstairs, do a photo shoot and actually record the process of just her coming in and getting the look that she wanted and then look at the confidence we created on her. She looks hot, so what we started out with is a relaxer guys, and so I just did the relaxer on-camera just showing you guys kind of my technique. Then we added a black rinse because she likes her hair, black and shiny guys. If you are not putting clear, rinses or black rinses Brown rinses any color on top of the hair you're missing out, because your clients get so much more shine and moisture retention in the hair. When you have a rinse all right, so then we went in and we molded the hair. Now, what's interesting and cool is that I talked to you guys about molding about covering up the thin areas on the head and showing you guys where to camouflage when the client has thin sides right and then I went through and did a 90 degree cut. Super easy, I always tell you and everyone in my class, if you have not mastered the 90, you are missing out because most of the hair cuts start with the foundation of a 90 degree when it comes to black women. In these short training cuts right, and so then we go from creating the basis of this hairstyle to silking out the hair. When I say silk out, that simply means just taking the flat irons or the marseilles and just kind of running the heat through and allowing the oils to manifest the hair and silk out and just make it soft and nice and shiny. And so that's what we do in this tutorial and then I run the iron through and just kind of put some flicks in different places and we put some shine on it and we put some Paul Mitchell glue on the tips and I go in and add These little flicks - and we literally just create this super cute, easy soft look and what I love about this tutorial is that I let the client talk and you know, and she talks about what she likes and doesn't like and what she wants to see, and this Is what we create it, and so she wanted her hair really flat. It was a Tamron hall picture, google, her she bag, she wears great short hair, and so I just explained so Beverly her head shaped hammering hauls head shape and what she liked about the cut and we went from there and just created this fun soft easy look. She just wanted something easy that she can maintain so guys, listen to the clients, talk to them and give them something that works just for them. Make them feel amazing. That'S my favorite part of doing hair is just what the client feels like after because they've been listened to and then you go and you work your magic and in order to do that confidently guys, you need to know how to do the fundamentals.
