► Hair Color:
This a custom color job, created by a stylist at a salon, using a professional system not available in beauty supply stores and which requires a valid cosmetology license to purchase--no I do not know the name. It cannot be recreated precisely and the shade looks different on me every time she touches it up since she blends it up on the spot and it changes shades every time I wash my hair.
Bleach was not used. We have been lifting my hair lighter and lighter over time using developer (which is not bleach) since October of 2015. I will not post a video on how to color because I am not a licensed cosmetologist and I will not give directions on how to use chemicals that I do not have a good understanding of. If you'd like help with achieving this color, please consult a LICENSED professional who specializes in natural hair because coloring will alter your hair and can damage depending on your texture and the process.

Hey y'all is day and I'm back with a hair tutorial. I'M gon na be showing you guys how I did that pin-up. Look in my last video, but this time I'm using curls latest vegan friendly green collection. So I'm starting off with the seek help curl cleanser - and I would say this is a moisturizing shampoo. It gave me a nice gentle cleanse and seek help. It'S full of vitamins like zinc, magnesium, iron, a bunch of other vitamins to clean and strengthen hair. At the same time, oh and before y'all troll me about my brows and these comments, I just got my eyebrows micro shaded last week, so they are flaking and peeling and that's what's going on with my eyebrows right now and I will be doing a video on My micro shading experience, but right now, they're healing and I'm waiting for that so okay. So then I follow up with this cucumber hair mask. It comes with this cute little wood spoon and because it's super thick, I just went ahead and use the spoon. I didn't even bother trying to squeeze it out. The bottle of the spoon works just great, so this stuff smells like cucumber with a little hint of melon and it's thick, but it melts right onto my hair. The cucumber is supposed to increase, shine and smooth out hair, because it does contain a natural, dissolvable silicone which can help with shedding and breakage. So this is after rinsing out the deep conditioner and my hair does feel good. It does have a nice shine and feels really sleek and I'm gon na follow it up with the green tea hair rinse, which can be used before or after deep conditioning. I thought everyone was using it before they do conditioning with that mask. So I wanted to try afterwards and I'm not honestly, I recommend doing it before the mass Green Team. Rinses are supposed to restore pH balance seal moisture and promote shine in my head. It makes sense to do that after deep conditioning, but to be honest with you guys, I wasn't really feeling it, so I do recommend doing it before you do condition, so you can still get all the benefits of a green tea and next up, I'm using the Bamboo protein treatment - and this is a natural protein rich leaving at first. I thought it was a protein treatment like when you apply or leave it on for some time and then rinse out, but this is actually a leaving and it's really lightweight and softening. I love how it just absorbs right into my hair and I had to apply quite a bit to get my hair fully saturate. The way I wanted to, but it left my hair feeling really soft and lightweight, and now I'm going to defy my hair doing the perm rod set that I did in my last video and I'm using that avocado hair mousse and I was really excited about this Cameras because my hair just loves avocado, like I get the best moisture out of products that have avocado in it, and just like I expected this mousse left my hair feeling really silken out when I applied it, and I can feel the moisture in the lose, which Is weird you don't really feel a lot of oil or like moisture and mousse, but I can feel it and I will add that it's not a very foamy mousse, but it does have a bubbliness to it, but it feels really good when I apply it. I really like this styler and I did a whole video on this method of how I ride my hair last week. So I'm gon na link it right here. You can go ahead and click to watch and see how I go through in defining curls. So I go ahead and pre flush, my hair out, so I can get a lot of volume with this pinup style and I go through and kind of eyeball where I want my hair to like fall and flow it. So I'm gon na start ahead with my ponytail holder and I gather one side of my head and like half of the back section and I'm leaving the middle part out and the other side of my head out. I know that sounds weird, but try to leave as much as that middle section out and do the ponytail like smack-dab on top of your hair cuz. This is gon na give you a lot of volume, doesn't matter if you have short hair or not it's going to give you a lot about you, like you're, really only putting about 40 % of your hair in that ponytail, so, like you're, really only putting about 40 % of your hair to the ponytail and, like I said this, is what's gon na, give you the volume and when you loop it, you do not want to loop. Your ponytail too tight, especially if you have short hair, because that's gon na make the ponytail really small and it's gon na, take away the volume that you're gon na get. You want it to be like kind of like how we do our pups, where basically there's no tension on the inside. It'S just the outside, so I took my scrunchie looped it twice. It was a wide spread sheet and just put it on one time and I was able to leave it and now I'm gon na shape it a little bit with my hands and using a wide tooth comb to pick my hair out, and I'm also going to Be adding bobby pins all around where the ponytail is because it's not tight, and I want to make sure that the hair stays up and the ponytail does not does not slip off because, like I said it's, not it's not really tight and feel free to use. Some gel and water, if you want a more sleek look, you can do this, that exact, look and do some gel water and even tighten your pumped up. You want to if you want it to be like real snatched, but I wanted a more like saw. I just wanted a more soft look. I didn't need it to be gathered all the way up and now I'm gon na do my edges, though, which I hate doing them on camera, because I cannot see us like a limping. I really need to see, and of course, I'm gon na tie them down and y'all wan na know the Keith la edges try to baby now. Girls like tie us down and now I'm going to lift some more and I'm actually using a pic like an actual pig and I'm trying to use a pic, but I really wanted more volume for this hairstyle. I really like the chest out a lot, but I really want more volume, so I'm gon na go through and just lift my hair up. You guys see I'm picking it up, so it sits on top of my hair, giving me that big hair look - and this is the final look so real, simple right. That'S it you just basically putting a ponytail in the middle of your hair and leave me as much hair out to get a voluminous look and that's it. You guys so comment some more hairstyles.
