Mom miss boyd said my braids and dress are out of school policy and won't. Let me take my pictures ella. You cannot have your phone out in school, oh hey, vidconicus, family. I know it's been a long time since we've talked and trust me. I'Ve missed you guys so much but hey. I got some really great news for you guys on christmas day at 7 00 p.m. Vid chronicles is going to premiere our video special, which is going to be about 30 to 40 minutes long. We'Ll still have our original episode at 11 o'clock, but remember at 7 pm and christmas day december, the 25th. You want to see this special, it's going to be really really really good. I love you guys so much, and i hope you guys have a merry christmas and uh yeah about the tree. Still not climbing it teacher. We have about 15, more minutes and i'll be packing up. I'Ve got two slots left, so send me two and we're done. Thank you very much. All right. Children today is the final picture day. I know some of you have been absent, which is fine, but today is the last chance to get your pictures taken. So let's light up and get moving yes picture day ella. Can you step on a line for a second? What did i do your hair and outfit are not in school uniform? No, i have braids, my dresses go in my knees and i have leggings on you're, not within school policy. Either you take out your braids or put on a school beanie, and your dress is too flashy it's inappropriate and it's offensive to other students, i'm not taking out my braids everything i have on is well inside the policy you're. Just singling me out for no reason. If you're going to have an attitude and talk back, then i can just send you to the principal's office. I will go after the pictures my mom paid for a premium package. I can't miss this. Oh, so you want to be written up. I did nothing wrong. You'Re being insubordinate now i'm about to call school safety to escort you out hello, mom, mom, miss boyd, said my braids and dress are out of school policy and won't. Let me take my pictures ella, you cannot have your phone out in school. Ella put the phone away or will be confiscated. She told me to take out my brains or put the school beanie on mom, she's being so mean. Okay, ella give me the phone. You are well on your way to being written up young lady, i'm not giving you my phone. My mom is on the way and i'm going to take my pictures, my mom paid in full already for premium. If you miss boyd, if you touch me or try to confiscate my phone, you will have to answer my mom well, the cameraman leaves in 10 minutes. So if your mom's not here, then i'm sorry, but i cannot allow you to get your pictures taken just like that, hey baby, since we lined up, i just want to take the pictures principal hughes, i'm glad you're here, ella's dress is too flashy. Her hair isn't proper and school policy dictates that all students should be in school uniform for picture days. How is her hair, not proper jessica admits, has twist in her hair. You must be new. No teacher has ever complained about her hair or her dress. This boy, ella, is well within policy. I don't know how they did things at the catholic school, but here we allow students to express themselves freely. Her braids are unkept and her dress is inappropriate. Are you serious? She is just a little girl who wanted to look nice for her picture day and you singled her out. She just got her hair done yesterday. It is neat and it's clean, i'm just doing my job ella. Why don't you run get your pictures made before the photographer leaves okay boy here at quality elementary? We don't judge students on the way they wear their hair or the price they pay for their clothes and besides she's well within policy, and her hair is beautiful. Maybe we should take a walk to my office and discuss other options of schools that would better suit. You you're going to transfer me because i upheld what i thought was policy, no ma'am. I'M transferring you because your attitude and your work ethic is not a good fit for our standards here after you know, i don't see what people get out of bothering others for the way they look a good dose of karma. She can't be around kids acting like this. I agree i agree after ella gets done, we'll let you check her out early you'll go spend the day together. Okay, i'm really sorry you had to come down for this. That'S fine! I'M just glad she got her pictures worth cause i paid for the premium package. Thank you. The moral of the story is judging someone, you don't know, doesn't define them. It defines you. Children should have the right to express themselves freely without cause to be targeted. Students have the right to wear whatever they want, as long as it’s school appropriate. And thank goodness, not many students at elementary schools violate the dress code cause they know better.
