What'S up guys, it's greta, and today we are recreating hairstyles from the black widows marvel movie. This was such a fun movie and the whole time i was watching it. I was like oh my gosh. Look at all these braids they're, so cool so fun. I can't not make this video, so i literally drew pictures of the style, so i would remember them brought it back with me, and here we are so this video is a fun one for me to do we're going to be doing four hairstyles one from the Black widow herself natasha romanoff, and then we are going to do well, two from her and then two from her sister elena from the movie. So i'm super excited, let's jump in with the one that has been on the posters for the black widow. We are going to need something to part your hair, with we're going to need elastics, a comb and or a brush and some bobby pins. So let's jump right into it. So the very first one we are going to do is for the black widow, and this is going to have two braids and then the rest of hair is down. So we're going to start with more of like a deeper side. Part not super super deep, but definitely not the middle, so we're coming more like here and it's really not like a clean part either. So, like some of that is gon na come back, and i am looking in my viewfinder, so i can see what i'm doing. Okay, so i'm just gon na part, this kind of down the center and leave this out of the equation, and this is what we're going to work with. So she has two braids right here that just fall into the rest of her hair. So i'm just gon na loosely take a chunk in the front and, to be quite honest, while i was watching, i had a hard time figuring out if it was like a regular, braid or a fishtail. So i think the reason i thought it was a fishtail is because it's pretty loose so just kind of grab your section and we're going to braid just like a little bit, we're going to add in just a little so go ahead and grab your three sections. Get them as even as possible and french braid super lightly, and when i say lightly i just mean not tight, just like just like this, i'm gon na keep that hair out of the way. Now, with this style, she has her hair kind of wavy. So what i would have done to complete this look is either wave it with um. I would do like a deep waver or what i would do is i would have braided it and then taken it out of that braid and i would have just done one braid, so she doesn't braid it all the way down. So i'm gon na stop here. Grab my elastic and secure this braid okay, so that's the first one and then we're gon na do one more right on the side. Okay, for this second braid, i'm just gon na kind of take that one out of the way i'm gon na grab. What'S in front of my ear and just kind of go up, so i want this whole section like here. I might want a little bit more, i'm going to go more at an angle, grab a little bit more that way. So it's something like this! I'M gon na throw that behind my shoulder now, what's really important besides having even sections is that, while you're braiding you're braiding in the elevation, you want your braid to lay at so. If you braid at a different elevation, it's gon na fall funny. So you can see i'm letting the hair fall down. Pretty close, my hands are pretty close to my face to keep it from buckling up at all and i'm just loosely braiding. This all the way down all right. Now i'm gon na secure that with an elastic and again she does not go all the way down with the braids, so i'm stopping them here, plus her hair is much shorter than mine in the movie so picture my hair, red and short. Let'S see what i can do so here is the first black widow hairstyle, and she does wear this one a lot during the movie where she just has those two braids and, like i said it's really quite messy. It'S not supposed to be perfect um because she's fighting and i'm sure she doesn't take a ton of time to do her hair because someone could come around the corner at any moment and try and kick her butt on to natasha's. Second, look: this one is a little bit more textured and more um pulled back, so she wears a version. This is this was weird to me. Okay, so she wore something with a lot of braids all kind of pulled back here and then halfway through this whole scene, um her hair changes into like a pulled back, ponytail and then braids. So that's the one we're gon na do, but i just thought i'd throw that out there. I thought that was interesting. I don't know when she changed her hair, but both styles were fun, so we're doing the second one, with the pulled back and and the braids down at the bottom. So for this one, because i said it's more textured - i'm going to use igk's beach, club, texturizing volume or volumizing texture spray. So that's what this one is. So i'm going to spray this on my roots and kind of um a little further than the roots just to give it more texture, because my hair is very silky right now it doesn't really wan na because i washed it today. It doesn't want to well there's no texture to it. So love the smell of this sprayed that directly in my ear voila this one stays in the air a little bit all right. Now that there's more texture - and i might end up adding a little more but we'll see um this one - we are going to pull like um all of the front from the ears and on up all this goes back. There'S no part! It just goes into a ponytail with like the majority of the hair, so something something like this and then the the rest of this hair, so basically you're pulling the ponytail into like a half up, uh pony and then this stuff is gon na get braided. So, let's pull the ponytail back and you don't want it high. We want it. Pretty short, i mean pretty low, okay, so i'll pull that right into the center low right here. I think i just hit my mic with my hair. Sorry, oops, okay, ponytail. Okay! Now, let's just kind of pull this pull that apart a little bit, it doesn't have to be perfect. This is where she's fighting a lot as she always is. So, let's just pull some out, make it messy now we're not braiding that we're braiding this, so i'm gon na take that down like the center and pull it over and i'm gon na do two braids on each side. Okay, so and i'm gon na, do it like this? I think where we kind of have a top and we kind of a bottom one we're just trying to make sure that feels. Even so, that's what i'm going to do this i'm going to keep here for a moment. No, i'm gon na pull that behind, because i'm gon na braid in front okay. So that's my section of hair and this is going to get braided again. I want my sections to be even in how much hair is in them and then braid, if you guys, don't know how to do a regular three strand braid. That is in my back to the basics. Playlist now these braids were tighter and braided much further down than the first style, so we're going to just keep braiding that all right, so you guys get the idea of this one, so i'm gon na just pop right back with all of them done. Okay. This is the braids done, so i did the four i did adjust the ponytail to be right on top of where the braid section starts to fall there. So now what i want to do is kind of rough up the ponytail a little bit. So i'm going to come in here, i'm going to spray to add some texture and just give it a little more bounce. So it's a little bit bigger a little bit messier like that. So again, you would assume her. Hair is crazy because she's running around and jumping off things and fighting and whatnot, but her hair looks so good all the time, and you know that's just what happens. It'S like movie magic, it's hair magic, so big ponytail like this okay and braids, and that is this style finished now we're gon na go over to elena and her hairstyles. So the first one is a ponytail hairstyle, let's jump right into it. Okay, now we are on to the second set of hairstyles, and this is for elena, so we're gon na start out with her ponytail look which she rocks for a good amount of the video. Why do i keep saying video? It'S a movie. It'S a full-length real long like two-hour movie, it's a real deal, all right, ponytail. We are going from the ears up, so we're going to take. I just realized. I need a another hairband hold on so, as i was saying we're going from the ears up so about here on my ears, we're going up and pulling that into a ponytail here, just roughly pull it back. This does not have to be smooth and perfect and then just secure that with your hairband, this one's pretty simple, okay, just like that, and then the next ponytail goes underneath. So you want to get this one out of the way i'll turn around. So that's our top one. This is gon na, be our bottom one, but it's also gon na come up a bit again. Nothing has to be perfect, so you can just use your fingers for this and then secure this with an elastic and basically the whole movie. She wears it like this, where this top part is split around that part. So it'll look something like that and now again with the other ones. You can go ahead and like pull it apart, make it messy, pull out your front pieces, but basically with this one, you just have two ponytails and if you want to make it extra fancy, you can hide the ponytails with your own hair. I didn't necessarily see that they did that in the movie, but i also didn't see that they didn't do it. So, however, you want to take, it is up to you. Let'S move on to style number two for you lena's. Second, look! I'M going to take my hair kind of at a diagonal right off center here. Do it with my finger and then gently bring that down. This is not going to be perfect and we're going to have two sections. I'M going to separate this one by just taking it out of the equation, pulling it away, so it won't get in the way we're going to be doing two dutch braids and if you don't know how to do dutch braids. I have a video on that too. Also in my back to the basics, um playlist, but i can leave both of those like the regular threesome grade and the dutch braid tutorial um in the in the description box. Okay, so we're very loosely going to be braiding. So i'm starting with a fairly big section kind of here: okay, so that looks like this and we're gon na dutch braid kind of just like here to down and we're doing all of the hair, so we're doing a full braid all the way down to the Bottom um just loose dutch braid is folding the hair. Underneath i do a few sections and then i start now. The sections that she takes are very large, which also makes a loose braid. So, by not pulling super tight and by taking large sections, your braid will be done. Pretty quick and it'll stay loose just like that, all right now, i'll just finish it off as a regular three strand, braid and then we'll braid the other side. Doing the exact same thing, so i'm just gon na flip that over my shoulder finish the braid and then we'll move over to the next section, and then this one is going to get pinned up. So this is where you're going to need your bobby pins. It gets pinned up into kind of an oval shaped bun, i'm gon na braid, this kind of as far down as i can so that i don't have a lot of ends. Um sticking out, i'm gon na stop there. So maybe i could go a little further, but this is fine, we'll tuck it into the bun securing that, with an elastic moving on to this side, so again, very loose, going back big section to start with and begin braiding a dutch braid again very large section To be added in right away, it was a little to make there we go i'll switch to the back again. You can see what i'm doing so grabbing just the rest of that hair there and then finishing off the braid yelina's hair is blonde and much longer than natasha's. Hair natasha's is red and more of like a medium length, a couple inches past the shoulder all right. So that's our two braids i'm gon na grab my bobby pins and we'll start creating our bun. So i have my bobby pins and something i wanted to do too was kind of tug at the top a little she had a lot of like texture to it. Just kind of like that, all right, i'm going to turn around and then you can see what i'm doing with the bun and i'm just going to feel my way. Um as i'm doing it, because i don't have a mirror to look at when i'm backwards and i'm filming a video, so so i'm gon na cross them over each other and i'm gon na pin them to the sides on their opposite sides. And first i'm just going to secure each side with double bobby pins: crisscrossed. Okay! So that's the first side, here's the second side, so we're going to kind of feel the way here, we're going to tuck that around into that oval shape and then bobby, pin down the base where these loops are stuck. This cannot up and under i'm just going to focus on the one side and then make my way to the other one once this side is secured, okay, so bringing this up and over i'm tucking that through i'm gon na, go ahead and secure this side. Now i can feel that i've got some hair sticking out there and i want to take care of that. So i'm going to take a hair pin instead of a bobby pin and just go straight over it like that, and that is the hairstyle. I'M actually really pleasantly surprised how it turned out without having been able to look at what i was doing so again, pulling out some hairs, making it messy.
