Alopecia Client 27 Piece Hairstyle Emotional Journey | Pixie Quick Weave

Hey guys today, I'm doing a 27-piece on my client who's. It has alopecia I'm going to turn this into. Th is right after hey superstars, it's your girl, Malika aka, miss magic. This video is emotional for me because this is a very longtime client which most of my clients are very longtime clients. However, after a couple of years of doing her hair, I noticed a spot, a bald spot in her head and I really didn't know where it came from, but I had to tell her because I didn't want her to think that I had caused it. She did get a relaxer and she did frequently dye her hair blonde, but I knew it was not something that I had done. So I told her about the bald spot and she said: oh okay, then, the next time she came, it seemed like he had gotten a little bit bigger, and so I told her I didn't want to really dye it anymore, and that was fine. So we did her hair and I you know I was I could comb her hair over it in a minute, but couldn't show you a picture of how I used to do her hair but after that hairdo she just stopped coming I mean she is. This was in 2015, I want to say she just stopped coming. I didn't know what had happened to her. My shampoo is this: the ass I'm, like I don't know she just stopped coming and I didn't really have her number to reach her at that time. Well, she had a different number or something so I kind of just left it alone. But every night again I thought about her. We are using model model, 27-piece hair, our dream working dream. We were on her hair. So back to the story, I saw her in a beauty supply house like two months ago and she had a scarf on and I said, hey Angie, I don't I'll tell mostly she's like yeah girl, hey, I said, what's been going on, she said. Well, I stopped coming because I thought you know that it was something that you did or whatever I didn't really know, and then, when I went to the doctor she well, this is her saying when she went to the doctor she found out she had alopecia and Then she was kind of embarrassed. She said to come to the shop anymore and I'm like what that's crazy she's like no, that's how I felt and I'm like. Well, you know I can fix that now. We'Re gon na come up to a picture of her that I used to do. I had her on Instagram, so I'm like going back. I'M like well, that's crazy, because I have a couple of people's with alopecia. You know I do their hair. I can make her hair look the way it used to look when I did it. She said yeah because she was wearing wigs and they were hot and she didn't like them. They weren't cut right. I said girl, you don't get your butt back in my chair. So we back she's back, thank God, I'm just so glad that God led me and her together in that beauty supply house. So I could see her and I'm on this journey with her. She has. She definitely did some medications and struggled with her hair growing back and coming out going back and coming out and now she's at a place where she said you know what I have alopecia areata and that's just the way it is, and this is a condition that Just strikes it can strike you young, it can strike you. Oh it's not a disease and it's not hereditary. It'S just something that happens. So there are ways that, if you don't want to wear a wig, we can do this 27-piece and I'm I'm not just doing this 27-piece because she has alopecia. I can do 27-piece on anyone, but this is just one way that a woman with alopecia areata can have a hairstyle I'm going to do this hairstyle damn near exactly the way I did her hair. So after all of that, like I said this is very emotional, because I'm so happy she's back and I'm so happy she's happy now and can wear her hair the way she wants to she get so many compliments so without further ado. We'Re going to proceed with this tutorial. I basically just put the cap on. If you do have a client with alopecia - and you don't have any hair to mow down, please make sure that their scalp is clean and free of oils, because if they just come in there and their hair is not clean and free of oils, the cap will Slip right off the glue will not adhere. At the beginning, I put a layer of glue at the bottom of her cap just to give me like a base for the bottom, so I won't slip around and she does pretty well towards the end of the hair. She usually lasts about three weeks to a month. She can basically take it off as a week if she wants to, but she just comes back and get another one. So I'm just talking and talking, but I'm just so happy. She is back to me to my client because I love my clients anywho without further ado.
