Hey guys welcome back to my channel sandy Beauty here, I'm gon na be doing a hair tutorial and how I got my hair into this sleek ponytail. So right now, I'm gon na start with the freshly washed hair and I'm just going in with the apogee keratin and green tea. Leave-In conditioner and I'm gon na be spring that all over my hair, especially in the front, because I will be using some heat later on on my hair. So now I'm going in with the Shea Moisture jamaican black, castor oil, leave-in and strengthening conditioner, and I like to add this in my hair for additional softness. It also helped me to detangle my hair better now to protect my hair from some heat. I'M gon na be using the cheese, silk infusion and guys I love this serum. I love it. I love it. I love it. I used to use it when my hair was relaxed and I still love using it now in my natural hair, so I'm just sectioning off my hair. Before I go ahead and blow-dry it, you I'm just applying a little bit more of that cheese. Silk infusion into my hair and then I'm going to detangle and look how easy is detangling with that product. But I just like to twist my hair away. While I detangle the rest of my hair and then once everything is detangle, then I will go ahead and blow-dry. Okay. So now that my hair is fully detangled and sectioned off, I'm going in with my Conair blow-dryer, I'm using a small tooth comb because it helps it kind of like straighten out my hair a little bit better and I'm just gon na go ahead and blow-dry. The rest until it's all dry, so right now, I'm just parting, my hair down the center honestly, I'm terrible at parting, my hair, if you guys watched my videos, you probably noticed that my hair is never Center. This probably took me about 10 minutes to perfect and it's still not as straight as I want it and again, I'm gon na go in and section off my hair, I'm just gon na be leaving the back out and sectioning off the two sides, I'm going in With my Hix edge control, I love love love this product, especially for like natural hair, because it really really does work and I'm just gon na be applying from that to kind of slicked down my hair, I'm not going to be using any gel, because my hair Will just curl right back up and then just lock it down further. I'M gon na be going in with my boar bristle brush, and this will just help me get that nice select look. So I'm just gon na use a scrunchie and tie my hair back and then I'm gon na work on the front of my hair so guys to get a sleek ponytail. This part is optional. This is what I like to do to get a really slick ponytail. I'M actually gon na be running a flatiron through this front section of my hair. It is on about 300 or 325 right now, so it's not on a very high heat setting. You can completely skip this step, but for me personally, the type of slick ponytail that I like this is a step that I don't miss and also I only do this to my hair once or twice a year. So for me I don't get any heat damage from doing this step. I just literally do like a quick one or two pass on that low setting, and then I carry on so again you guys don't have to do this part, especially if you're. Naturally, you don't want to put any heat on your hair, but this is just what I like to do for like a slick ponytail, which I rarely do to my hair, so see it doesn't get bone straight, but it gets smooth enough and you'll see why. I do this once I slicked down my hair okay. So now I'm going in with the edge control again, I'm just gon na be slicking down my hair and I'm just taking out a little piece of hair from the side right there. I kind of think it's something that's cute, so I like to do that so guys. This part, you can see why I prefer to flatter in my hair. First, my hair doesn't get fully slicked when it's just blow-dried. So when I run the Flatiron through it a little bit and put some edge control, I really really do get that very sleek like straight look and that's what I'm going for it. So I'm just gon na clip that section back and I'm just going to proceed to the next side. So my hair usually only gets this slick whenever I use water and gel. But again it will be very wavy if I went in with some gel in some water, so this was the best option for me. So now I'm just gon na be taking my ponytail and braiding it up now guys I'm going in with a little bit of got to be glued, mainly because this gel dries very quickly and it does have an extreme hold. So I like to put a little bit at the very very end, just before I put my head tie on and I'm just kind of combing, that through making sure everything is very slick and I'm gon na tie it down before it even gets a chance to Make my hair wavy I'm gon na leave this head tied on for about 10-15 minutes, but I'm gon na do my makeup in the meantime and I'll be right back, But Here I am with my face fully done and I'm showing you guys the bundle I'm using. I actually went in with two bundles. One was an 18-inch and one was a 20 inch and I'm first going in with the 18 inch, and I just took a hair pin onto the end of the weft and I'm sticking that hair pin into my ponytail. And I'm just gon na go ahead and wrap that weft around so guys the tracks are doubled. So it's not like a single weft that I'm wrapping around. I did double it so that it would be fuller and it'd be finished, quicker. You, the ponytail and sorry, I'm laughing, because somebody is making me laugh, but yeah guys. This is the end of the tutorial. I hope you enjoyed it. Let me know what you think. It is very, very easy, because this was like the second time I've ever done. This and yeah bye, guys

rashidas LIFE: I got 4C hair but girl you still inspired me I don’t know why everyone’s complaining but collect your coins beautiful!

Mina E: For those of you saying why are we complaining that her hair isn’t actually 4c, the reason is it’s hard enough already to find YouTubers with actual 4c hair. Products that work on looser texture hair normally doesn’t work on ours so we NEED to see people who actually have our hair texture to know what will work. I know everyone’s hair responds to products differently but it’s the same as when I type in “makeup tutorial for dark skin women” and someone the color of amber rose comes up. And some people purposely say they have 4c hair because they know it’s an underrepresented market on YouTube. So yes, we have every right to be upset that her hair isn’t actually 4c. If someone with 4c hair tried her method it would NOT come out this way.

Brittany Dukes: This was probably the best sleek ponytail tutorial for 4C hair I've seen. So excited to try this method because not using gel makes SO much sense. How did it hold up in the shower?

strope: THANK YOU for the tutorial!! I love how easy it is to follow along and you actually show what you're doing step by step <3

Felicia Russon: Straight to the point! thank you I love this

Everliza A: Forget about all these negative comments. Your tutorial was amazing. I think a lot of them are forgetting you not only blow dried your hair for this look but FLAT IRONED the top as well. They could achieve the same results with the same steps you used. People just like to complain I will be trying this method later and I am so excited. Thank you beautiful

kaylaherin: Yay! I needed something quick and easy to do for my baby shower this weekend. I'm doing this. Thank you! It came out great on you.

Sandra Boakye: Amazing, this hairstyle is very simple but classy, love it!! And you look really pretty with makeup and without x

Sayon Alexandra: Just tried this style today!! So happy with the results thank you so much :)

Kayla Waweru : Omg!!!! Thank you so much for this video. I have 4c hair and it’s really coarse but these method was literally the only one the worked for my hair!!! Thank you so much so grateful I came across your video. Much love ❤️

Destiney B: This seems like a great technique!!! You may have just prevented me from getting a perm again. Lol...Because I swear I want a sleek ponytail look!!! I hope this works for me!!!

Clarisse: I've never heard of 4c hair being slicked back only by water and gel (that would be a blessing for me) LMAO you look more of a 4b especially around the crown, this was super cute and I love loveee your makeup

Maddie DeBose: Thank-you so much girl! My mom said we are getting the products you use and doing this style. I can't wait to go into 6th grade with my natural hair. Also my mom says my hair is a 2a for a black girl. Will it still work? Thank you for this video!

K. Dailey: Loving this technique!!! Thank you so muchhhhhhh!!!!

Empress Aries: Amazing how easy that was.

TheGhettoSnobSeries: Something that helps me with my 4C hair is after I start the part, I put some product (like that Hicks you used) where the part is and then clean the part up like that. It helps so much!

EmilyAseneth: Love the hair tutorials ❤️

unattached and unbothered: Issa look hunnie!! Making me want to grow some hair to get me a ponytail too

Mmny Mmny: This came out so beautiful.

Louise O: Thank you! I actually happened to have all the right kind of products as well. Gonna try this when I wash my hair and update

Vivian Amor: Omg thank you for this video I never thought to use Edge Control instead of gel to slick my hair down

clara-aaliyah o’garro: it looks so pretty

Ciara s: People butt hurt in the comments she did a style that both 4c and 4b hair types could achieve. She even used the freakin flat irons cus it be difficult for both hair types to get that top straight whether you think she got 4c or not that ain’t even the point of the video ‍♀️ girl the hair looks great you did yo shit

Favour: finally someone with the same hair type as me

S. Th: I'm here for this makeup though! Flawless.

El Belle: Those complaining about her not being 4c..kindly start your YT tutorials cos you’re all getting frustrated ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️that way it’ll ever easier to find each other easily. She does have 4c textures and a few loose curls but her title also says 4b/4c so just take some tips and stop hating

Olivia Brown: Loving your weave!!! I would love to see you do a review of Straight Silk Spray with Argan Oil by JuniorLabs. It maintains my hair soft and flowy ❤️❤️❤️

ysl babe: I know this video is old but I just love your hair looks so natural not really a fan of high ponytails always look super fake and obvious 2 me . Urs is perfect id never think it's a pony tail extension

Leoni Kiara: I wishhhh your natural hair gels so beautifully you are blessed

girl flexx: Super cute!

Leslie Johnson: Just came across this tutorial can you list the products you used thanks

KikiBabbe: Everyone saying shes not 4c is dumb the title says 4b/4c which mean she has both the front of her hair is more 4b and the back is more 4c y’all trynna tell her about HER hair and I only know this cause my hair is this exact same way

Honeyy Goldiee: Lemme forward this to my friend lol.. Beautiful sis.. I have 4b REALLLLLLLLLL thick hair..

Niiya Isichei: Video was amazing! May I ask what type of blow dryer was/is this?

Alexandria Hunter: about how long does this style last?

Pinkpixie: Is 4b and 4c hair really that different? I’ve been natural since 2012 and only realized the beginning of this year that I am 4b.

Ericka Dillon: Seems like the weft would slip down, I'll try it and see if it's work prove

Rhianna Scyster: How did you get it to stay at the end?

Suad Ibrahim: do you think this sort of hair will last in a concert? Great video btw

Jacyn Symone: So you just stick the Bobby pin in the bottom part of the braid?

Tiffany Pollard: It’s become a trend for ppl to lable their hair 4c for views

likewaterforchocolate: Your hair looks very much 4B

Kind 2Me: Pretty!! @Sannybeauty do you take it the extensions out to sleep?

KekePfan16: New subbie!

Loving Life32: Your blow dryer is missing some teeth just like mine. It's that thick, beautiful 4c hair we have! Love the video.❤

Marsha Akoto: Where did you purchase that conair blowdryer from

ReceBaby: not 4c hair but very pretty!

Shalisha Davis: What hair dryer was that you used ?

Your Friend SJ: Y’all are so extra. Being 4c isn’t a curse, acting like b/c you have 4c hair nothing can work for you. People can have multiple hair textures/porosity, density etc. You can still achieve this style with 4c hair. Relax.

Francine Spencer: Enjoyed this video, and you’re so pretty. I knew you were from Toronto when I heard you first speak and I scrolled down to confirm. Torontonians just have a sound. #newsubbie

Shannon Ivery:

Joey: SHE LITTERALY PUT 4B/4C LIKE SHE DIDNT JUST SAY 4C SO SHUT UP Love the vid

Crystal Scarlett: Way how this slayed..sweet baby Jesus

Brianna Melissa: Who cares if her hair is or isn’t 4c just watch the tutorial or exit. It’s that simple ‍♀️

Golda A: Can people calm done with the 4c and 4b hair thing. It’s her hair she knows best

Cheryll Blue: Is the Hicks edge control a pomade or a gel. I know you said you don’t use gel. Just trying to make sure before I buy.

Omooo. _: So maybe next time I look up 4C I have to put the C in caps‍♀️

Bri Bri: Has any one told you you look a lot like Michelle Williams?

Proud Black Woman: Why are y’all telling this woman what she has? Folks always have to hear that they’re right. Shut up and just watch the damn video.

KenyaRise: Yeah I’m just gonna perm my shit ‍♀️

Style By DNG: Where can I find this instrumental?

trish ellis: Cute

Marion Sanders: Shoot my whole life is a lie then because my hair textures just like that it's hard to slick my hair down sooooo idek what my hair us anymore

Ayanna’s World: Girl your hair is not 4c

Ashley Barrel: Lmao. Do y’all really think all 4c hair looks the damn same? Stop putting black girls hair in a box. I have 4a hair high porosity and it can look very different depending on my products. Her hair is wtf she says it is, okurrrr. and one question: why are y’all so pressed anyway? If y’all were this concerned with y’all hair as y’all are others, ya hair would be down to ya knees.
