Hey y'all, what's up so I'm here to do a quick little boolean take down video a lot of people wanted to see how to take our glue. A lot of people seem to think glue is like the devil like you cannot put glue in here without it damaging your hair, but that is totally a myth. I know we probably all got those those horrible nightmares from us being in middle school and just snatching our tracks out and being bought at it. But that's the reason why? Because you're not supposed to just snatch your glue in I'm not supposed to snatch our quick weeds you're, not supposed to snatch out anything from your hair, because obviously that is gon na cause, some ripich and some breakage of your natural hair. I'M here to show you guys just how to properly take our glue in extensions or quick weaves. I do have a video already I'll put that right here. I do have a video on how to properly take out a quick wheel with the cap and everything, but obviously blue ants are a little different because you put in that glue directly onto your scalp and on your hair a little bit. So it is a little different, but there still is a proper way to take out gluten weave without damaging and ripping out your hair. I'Ve had my gluten extensions for about 5 days now. Y'All saw that whole video. I got a lot of comments. I swear people be coming for me. Hey people become for me in the comments, but especially on Instagram like when I do quick, weaves or whatever people like come for me like. Oh, you friended me ball-headed, oh, she don't want her energies or oh this, and that like what is wrong with her, don't she know better to put people just come for me. Y'All people are scared of this stuff, and this is the glue I used. A lot of people have questions about what glue I use just the regular. So I'm Pro 32nd super blind, a super bond hair glue that you can find in any hair store or Sally Beauty Supply. So I'm just here to prove you all wrong to like girl. I still got a little bit of hair okay, my breakage did not come from glue or anything. My breakage, if y'all watch that video came from, I think, was a protein overload anyway. That'S beside the point. This is the way it's like five days. Oh, it's still in good y'all can see it's still nice and strong. I could wear it for even long if I'm wanting to, but it's just time to do a new hairstyle. I do have one shot back here, that's falling out because I have a one year old, okay, one year old, that was like girl notice, not your hair and he pulled on it. Okay, see see ya anyway, for the most part, everything is like still intact. I love me and glue and leave it just I'm. I feel like this is my natural hair. It'S been looking so natural, it's been so easy to maintain. All I do at night is probably like braiding how I just had it two big braids or just put in a ponytail honestly put the scarf on wake up. That'S it sometimes in the morning like if I had it in a ponytail and it's like a little bump in it I'll just use my little hair straightener brush and go through it BAM boom. He gets everything back straight and poppin, but not like silky straight. I just were kind of like blown out. Y'All know how I was like that kinky straight texture. I just wore it just like that. I didn't curl or anything I didn't put any extra heat on it. Besides my little, you know straightening brush, which is not a whole lot of heat and other than that. I really just been rocking it straight. I know a lot of people requested to see a curl. I'M sorry y'all, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I'Ve just been lazy. Okay, not really even lately, I've just been busy. I really haven't had time to curl it so taking out the blue in it's just really simple. Why you do is target the glue with some conditioner I like to use conditioner you can use oil. You can use a leave-in spray to spray the glue, basically any type of conditioner, of your choice. I honestly would recommend conditioner because it's just it works the best and it gets that glue all clump together and gets it out of your hair with oil. It'S kind of more messy oil will have that glue, slipping inside all on your strands rather than conditioner. Just getting it all together and getting it right on melting, it basically melting. It melting that blue out of it here. So just she was like a really cheap conditioner, because you are gon na need a lot of conditioner. So what I do is just keep like real, cheap conditioners on hand to take out. You know, glue or whatever Lots. Gon na need a little comb that look a little bit like this, basically kind of like a medium to comb to first comb, and I'm allowed to make sure you don't you know, you're, not ripping your hair out, and then you want to use a small tooth Comb to basically get that blue arrow and no worries as long as you detangle incorrectly. As long as you comb in this hair out from the ends to the room, you do not have to worry about pulling your hair out or nothing like that, especially if you got your conditioner girl you're all set. This whole thing is pretty self-explanatory, so I'm about to go ahead and jump into it and let's get this

Chaunte ́ Pulliam: I've been gluing hair in for 20 years. Haven't lost a edge to it yet!! Love this video!

Riot Johnson: I just want to sincerely apologize bc I was one of those people who was coming for you with your natural hair. No this video did not change my mind, i dont think I will ever put glue or a lot of heat on my hair but that’s just me and thats the thing. This is YOUR hair journey that you decided to share with us and you’re super brave to show the good and the bad, not a lot of people do that. Its wrong for me to sit here and judge you. I appreciate you and the work that you do

Jenn Ferley: People put glue on their eyes but be scared to put it on their scalp guys this is glue made for your scalp just like for your false lashes not industrial power glue

the recessionista: The same ones coming for quikweaves have been scalped by frontals

Tamarra Christmas-Stradford: You showed them better than you could’ve told them!

Tyronda Hayes: Quick weaves used to be my jam in middle school. I dont get how women were just snatching the tracks out when the same beauty supply that carried the glue also had glue remover.

onesexytan: I use to do my hair like that back in high school. I gotta tell ya, my hair was way healthier back in the day when I was in school and after I graduated. Using glue, flat irons, and wearing ponytails and half wigs made my hair strong. Using grease, pink oil lotion, and other old school products grew my hair. Nowadays, with sew ins, lace frontals and fronts, my hair has been slowly breaking off. Constantly buying natural hair products and becoming a product junky has done more harm than good for me. I took it back hella old school and now I'm wearing crochet braids as a protective style to get my hair healthy again, and it's been working. Thank you for you letting them know that glue is not the devil lol.

S Mac: I appreciate that you stay giving tips for healthy hair care!

Vanessa Cortes: Omg, I didn't know this was an old school thing. I started gluing my extensions 4-5 years ago. My hair started getting thinner and thinner every year, it's genetic. So I bought clip ins because the tape ins I got weren't full enough for my head. Mind you, at the time I was in Cosmetology school and they NEVER talked about hair extensions, all my school focused on was perms for the old ladies and blow-outs. That's it! Fine. So anyway, the clip ins were TOO thick for my head, they were 280 grams, and I'm naturally about 120-140 grams. I was UNEDUCATED about that subject, so I had to learn on my own as I went along. So one day I sat there frustrated and thought: is there another way I could wear these? And I took off the clips and noticed how the extensions had 2-3 rows. Me being the curious person that I am, I got my seam ripper(I also sew) and undid the extension and noticed I was left with a weft. I went to Sally's to get a bunch of bottles of glue..for eyelashes...and then I see it there, on the counter: Hair glue. I knew it was a sign from above that I could glue the extensions on my head. People say I'm crazy once they find out, but it is the only way I can feel comfortable, not to mention confident! Later on I started watching youtube videos and let me tell you, we owe the black community for ALL the hair extension methods out there! (And everything under the sun.) Now some people are out there talking about this new "hand-tied extensions" method, like girl, that's a sew-in!!!

Miss Tish: Tierra girl, I use conditioner on my hair for detangling after any sew ins, or braidings, i also use it to take out my glue too. I literally thought I was the ONLY one who use conditioner.

Dante Velasquez: wow. I never had a problem with hair loss from the black glue, but when I used oil to remove it the glue would turn into a liquid mess and I would have to soak it in oil and then wash it like 3 times to get all the glue out of my hair. Drove me crazy! I had no idea conditioner would work. I will have to do some mannequin head tests now lol

Crafting with Angie: Tierra, everything that you said in this video is true. This is the method that I used as a young woman back in the early 90's when I first learned about taking out my weave. I only wore weave occasionally, but this is the correct way to take out glued-in weave and just like you, my hair didn't break off nor did my edges. The one thing that I love about you and your channel is that you are very knowledgeable about hair and very gifted as well. God bless you baby and keep doing what you are doing. :)

Wilda: Very educational and informative! You proving the naysayers wrong. Love your flowy blow out

Nik Nln: They keep forgetting this is your profession in REAL LIFE!

Marlee D: Yes Teirra! I bought the hair you used in this video, for a sew in that I'm going to do for my sister this weekend. Can't wait to see the end result. You have helped me so much. Keep up the great job. You are the best! I ordered the hair dryer and flat irons you use because I never really used a flat iron a lot. Girl you have inspired me so much. You make me wish I went to beauty school instead of the medical field I felt pressured from family & friends to do. I really wish I went into a field that I first had a lil talent for and had passion & love for. Hey it's never too late to learn. Love you girl! Hey in the first video for this hair you said you burnt the hair. What temperature was too high for this hair and what temperature do you recommend for this type of hair? Thanks!

dale underdue: Happy Blessed New 2019 Gurl, I'm shook! That weave takedown was fantastic! And when you showed the comb, no shedding, I gasped! Unfortunately I'm allergic to wig/weave glues. But if I wasn't, Babay, it would be sooo on! Your natural mane is beautiful! Thick, shiny, healthy and your edges are unfazed! Great video!✌

Cherii: “Still got my edges Boo” You tell ‘em sis. Look at you with all that flourishing healthy hair

karen love: Fantastic job my sista! I have been using conditioner for removal as well and the key to not losing your edges is as you have said before is not take the wefts all the way to your edges! Leave your edges out so that it blends better and you can also wear a pony tail or your hair up without revealing tracks. Good job!

MeggieChan: I use glue all the time. I've always used oil, but you are absolutely right, so messy! Lol. I will definitely be using this removal method next time. Thanks, beautiful! Keep doing what you do. ❤

Tee Tee J: I see you recovering nicely from the breakage when you did the color! Love it!

Candice Singleton: This is a video sent from heaven. I'm telling you fam. This is the first time I've ever had glue for my head and the stories had me scared. Thanks for breaking it down so easy that a beginner could follow. I appreciate you sis!

RoyalNykki: I used glue in high school and my 20s. Glue does not take your hair out. Snatching the tracks out without putting the proper solution on it first takes your hair out. People are impatient and pay the price of for it. But its their choice...But it worked great for me. I let my conditioner and oil sit on my hair and wore a plastic cap for about 2 or 3 hours(sometimes overnight with deep conditioner) and the bundles just slid out so soft and easy. I hate when people comment negatively due to lack of knowledge.

Enjanae & Jerry: This video gave me life! I love glue ins but my hair broke off because I wasn’t taken it out correctly! Definitely gonna try this! And your hair looks so thick and healthy. What do you put on it after you wash and blow dry it??

LoKntryFed: I used to do mine like this!! Never had hair loss either

Shae I.: Great video! I use the 30 second shampoo glue remover also. It works very well and also the track slide right out. You have beautiful hair!

Usheka Williams: Been using glue on my hair since I was 14 smh. Its easy to take out without hair being damaged ..I HAVE A FULL HEAD OF HAIR WITH FULL EGDES .LACE FRONTS BROKE MY HAIR OFF IF ANYTHING..YOU DID IT SO BEAUTIFUL

Eva Capri: Now I'm tempted to do this. Thank you

Leah S.: Tierra J, You are amazing! I have never had extensions, but while doing research on how to remove glue from hair I came across this video. I LOVE it. You are so delightful. Continue being your magical self ok. =)

South Paw: Hey girl!!!!! I do this method!!! It works!! Just take your time!! Love YA'LL!!!❤❤❤

Ms Moe Reacts: Very nice video. Love how you took the time to show step by step and the detail on the way you actually use the condition to take the weave out. Love it ❤

Military Glam: I’m so glad I found this video bc this is going to save me so much time. I’ve never used hair glue on my hair bc I was told I would be bald headed ‍

Shawnee Destiny: I just wanted to say I’m very much excited to see this video, with encouragement as I just did a quick weave that’s been in for almost two weeks and it was temporary as I have waited for the arrival of my lace frontal wig and I feel so much better going into the taking down process without experiencing the damage everyone cries wolf about ! Glad I subbed because somethings we do need help with!!!!!!

MissExclusive4: The glue in looks really natural. And your results removing it look fine too. You did a good job.

Tameca Croom: Girl!!! I felt the same way!! People be so worried about what you do but probably can’t do nothing for themselves!! You got this!!! This negative world we live in. Beautiful hair

Danielle Williams: Love this Video Sis!! I just tried it and it works!!! I Used my Blow dryer to heat up the glue with the conditioner on it for any spots that had a lil too much glue.. and glue was just sliding right on out!!

Mysty Polk: Haven’t glued my hair the way you did but, there were some hair loss with combing glue out. Maybe I didn’t apply enough conditioner or something. But, great method I haven’t had a glue in since middle school I’m in college now. Lol I love watching your hair videos I’m learning from the best ♥️

Mara j: I had a quick weave last week that was so irritating had it in 2 weeks. I was up 4am watching your video on how to take it out. Your video helped. very little hair shed ...I love your videos. Keep them coming

VMichelle: Two weeks ago I watched your video on how to put in a glue in quick weave, I had never done that before, actually I’ve never put a weave in before. But I had some extra hair from having a sewing done and I decided I was going to try it. I followed your steps it really came out very nice I got a lot of compliments. Today I took it out using a cheap conditioner I bought out of the dollar store it worked fabulously, the hair just fell off of my hair, I sustained no breakage. I washed and deep conditioned my hair and tonight I put in my second glue in and the second one came out better than the first. The one thing I always do is a deep conditioning once a week. My hair Is stronger than 6 months ago and this is givin it an opportunity to rest. Thank you so much for the videos I am a new subscriber

wanda j: Preach. I'm 34 and been gluing my tracks on and off since I was 16 and my hair and scalp is fine. I actually start having thinning edges when I stated sew in's.

TheMissess4: You make it look so easy. There's literally nothing you can not do. I haven't used glue in years. Bad memories lol.

LISA COOPER: THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS VIDEO... I NEEDED THIS!!! JOB WELL DONE!!!...YOU GOT RIGHT TO THE POINT AND DIDN'T WASTE A LOT OF TIME!!!

Felicia Dunn: Tierra, you are truly gifted and know what’s best for your hair as stylist. Love ❤️ your channels.

Marjorie Coleman: When I wore glued in weave back in the day, I used to pull out my hair trying to take it out. We used bond remover back then. Your hair look soo healthy!

Tammy Kelly: Thank you Tierra for that great tip on removing the glue with hair conditioner. And the music you choose to play is ALWAYS BANGIN!!!

A’Nice Ladie: Thank you for keeping it simple. I have gone back to natural. Only flat ironing for special occasions. Well tomorrow is double bday date night so yass I’m adding some length and gona flat iron. Can’t wait I literally had to go back and watch how we used to do. My hair was long for so long

Felicia Felicia: When installing, spray the track with pump it up before blow drying. Keeps glue in one place. Put oil in your hair the night before you take it down, then use conditioner the day of. The tracks and glue will come out even easier

Destiney B: I absolutely love that you did a glue-in tutorial and a take down tutorial. I am definitely interested in doing a glue-in weave installation again, this was my suit back in the day. I’m so sick of every one else’s opinions of how you should do YOUR OWN fucking hair. Glue-ins look super natural and if you take your time removing them you should have no damage. Everything has the potential to damage your hair. So people should stop being so judgmental.

Heeby GB: Such a great video! I'd also like to add if you do use oil and you get that crazy goopy consistency with the glue dishwashing liquid is really good to get it to come out. It lifts oil anyway on dishes, and after the glue is mixed in with the oil the dishwashing liquid grabs hold and lifts it right out. The glue changes to a weird consistency once you add the liquid, but it works. I know dishwashing liquid sounds awful, but if you do a deep conditioning treatment afterwards your hair will feel great! I've had the liquid glue neverending nightmare before lol.

A-TheDivine: @Tierra J Beauty I’ve been having a hard time keeping my hair from reverting after I flat iron. I always deep condition under a dryer, use the Elements heat protectant, I even have used anti-humectants from Living Proof (the complete anti frizz bundle) and Aveda. I even pressed my hair with an old school pressing comb before I flat iron. Let me tell you, I’m about to go crazy! I use to use Lustrasilk Hair Culture and it was the only thing that worked but was discontinued because of carcinogens. Please.... Any advice ???

E-maginne: I can't believe you took it down. It still looks so good and natural!

Tomeko Williams-Cade: I've been wearing glue for 31 years , the first time glueing in was 89 and I pulled out some of my hair , then tried it again , but back then it was no oil to remove , not that I know of, so I been using conditioner from 1989 and on and even showed my friends but some never listened, and now at 45 I still do this with my clients and talk sh*€€, with the ones who say glue bad for you but wants glue on the frontals , and eye lashes , SMH , it's crazy how what we did back in the day , is the repeat of today, love your videos keep them coming

Taylor Jacobs: Thank you. I have very fine hair, thin and the slightest thing could cause me tension alopecia. So I was worried about gluing in weave again. The last time I used glue on my scalp was about 15 years ago though. But thanks for the ‘conditioner ‘ tip.

Cynthia Laincy: Love your tutorials so helpful!

TONI2COMBS: Glue is not the enemy. Improper application and improper removal is. You know I love this video!

GlammaOf3: I'm not a wig or weave wearing person but really liked your technique! Your hair looks very nice and healthy, great job!

Erin: Girl I get the same kind of backlash when people find out I relax my hair. Lol like just because it doesn’t workout for you don’t mean I’m bald headed and don’t got healthy hair. By the way love your personality I’m a new subbie!

Nora Marie: This was a great testament to the past. And now Im want my glue in back. Thanks for making this video. I though i was the only one missing the glue in. I changed styles like 2 times a month.

Maverick Media: I grew my hair so long using quick weaves with glue. The minute I decided to start sewing down my cap is when I lost edges!

Silk Queen: Thank you sis you made me make my mind up I felt it was a bit old school but if it works for me why not keep doing it! Thank you for the video!

Andrea F.J: So cool thank you !!!!! I’m going to look amazing for my date THOUSAND TIMES thank you

Rena Brooks: Thank you Tierra I really needed this video , Because I have a hard time with the hair glue and I love quick weave's thank you again & God Bless your family

My Sweet Life Health Coaching: I think its important to remember everyone's hair is different There are so many factors that play a role diet, lifestyle, genetics, stress, overall health... she knows her hair and what it can handle and she also does a very good job with maintaining it to keep it healthy! Every hairstyle is not meant for every person and same goes for hair products and hair techniques. Find out what works you

Devonna Johnson: I wear them because they look natural and when I take my hair out it fine. I've never lost my edges.

1ColleWorld: Haters gone hate! You didn’t have to prove anything Sis, but this video will shut ‘em up!

anpdm1: Tierra J, you are so right about using conditioner instead of oil to remove the glue. That glue and oil makes a mess and if any falls on cloth or carpet, it's impossible to clean. Newbies need to remember when choosing a conditioner for track removal, the conditioner needs to contain alcohol. Alcohol removes the surface tackiness and causes the glue to seize together on the track. It also keeps the glue from sticking to your on comb. In desperate times, I've used straight alcohol for removal, but prefer the added benefits that comes from using a conditioner.

BoRn In QuEeNS: I use oil sheen to take out my tracks when it’s glued in and it slips right out but I’ll try using conditioner next time

Sir ExcuseMe: Definitely going to try this thanks pretty girl ❤️

NettaPrettyMeDuh: You have a major point. I use to wear TV pit of a quick waves and my hair was to my bra strap. Started wearing sew ins and wigs and I just recently had to cut all my hair. Plus I have a bald spot from my closure. Your hair looks awesome though!

Te Lamb: I'm no hair dresser but this is how i always take out my glued in tracks. I always thought it made it easier to get the glue out

E Sheffield: For a woman who just had tracks put in for the first time in her life you have just blessed me with knowledge. Thank you

Francella Brown: Gorgeous. You have beautiful hair, Sis. Thanks for the tutorial.✌

LaShonda LaShell: Girl, I always learn something from you. Thanks

RoyalEsthetiks: I already knew how to take out glue .. I’m just here for that blow out come thru natural ❤️

Marlinda Romelus: This was so helpful thank you

Lajoyce Lewis: Girl thank You! I needed this! Love the video

2lemonades: I see you coming through with that prepoo and of course, taking care of that scalp. Do your hair girl

Blanche: Wow! Beautiful love it and your natural hair looks healthy.

Keisha Simmons: Thank you for sharing this...right to the point

Annette Williams: Simple, No Worries, Thanks for sharing

Kherie Bherie: I always used conditioner to remove glue from my hair. Not sure why more people never did. Oil is the absolute worst thing. My issue with a glue-in is not the glue itself, it is how time consuming the take down was and combing alllll that glue out.

Angela Cherai: Lol haven’t had glue in tracks since 2010 but now I’m tempted to try it after seeing how easy they are to remove! Can you reuse the hair or is there too much buildup on the track for it to work? Love your videos!

Less Than Perfect: I'm less than 30 seconds in and let me just say that your natural face is BEAUTIFUL!

Natalie Jill: Thank you for the video! I’ve been wearing glue ins for a while now. My hair is super curly and I have to take my glue ins out about every five days. This might sound so juvenile but I’m curious to see how you apply your glue ins. I went through your videos and couldn’t find one on your page. Do you have a video of just applying them? I have a bad habit of just “pulling” mine straight out. Once they start getting my on nervous I have no self control anyways subscribed! Love your other videos too

FLAVIA Shaibho: People be waiting to say I told you so...... I love your hair, keep it coming ❣️

Shantryce: This works!!!! I did this instead of using that awful white glue remover and it was soooo quick. Thanks girl!!!!!!!

ladynefertitibk: That is fantastic! How much glue did you use on the tracks , and how long did you leave the weave in before removing?

Jacqueline McGrady: I so totally enjoy your videos. You make them real, and I can relate. One question..Can you use the weaving glue instead of Got 2B glue when doing a lace wig if you don't intend to show your edges? Thanks so much. GOD bless.

TuTu Stokes: Thank you...you helped me out so much with this

Kaylee Elenbaas: I’ve started glueing my extensions my hair has grown two inches in a month cause I stopped messing with it, glue in is a life saver

morgandenise_89: Slay! Look I’m about to do a glue in. I miss having a little length lol

OhSo PrettyMe: Love This your hair so healthy and thick love it

Valorie D: Lace front wigs pull people here are more than the glue. . Ball edges nowadays come from lace front

ProblemNY: I like using those double ended combs to remove lint from and finely detangle my strands. With the right products, my hair feels like silk after using it.

M. D.: Thank you!!! I've wore glue and never had breakage or damage. I haven't wore any lately but I'm going to soon. I don't have any issues.

Finesse Bartlett: I love this thank you so much your going to save me so much money and time !

SoRena Dix: Although I still refer the clip-ins, you're extremely thorough! Thank you.

Kay Solo: I used to use the 70%rubbing alcohol (soaking cotton balls and saturating the tracks) it breaks the bond instantly and would literally take less than 15 mins from start to finish to remove a whole head of tracks (I would run a fine tooth comb through my hair after slipping all the tracks off to make sure all the glue was out which it usually was) then I would immediately wash and deep condition my hair afterwards. P.S. You can also soak the tracks in the alcohol to clean the glue off so you can reuse the tracks.

Kim Frazier: Thank you this was perfect

Tracy Hammonds: This reminds me of when I was using the isoplus hair spray back in the day to remove tracks.

Charlese: My hair dresses would give me glued quick weave and this is REALLY close to what she did. She would put a ton of condition in my hair, let it sit for an hour or so and message it out.
