This is one of the first hairdo's I ever made on my twins... it gets sooooo many compliments, and holds up very well for cheer, dance, and sports!

-Hi. And welcome back for another video by `` Adopt a'Do Cute Girl's Hairstyles.'' This morning we are going to do triple twists into twisty buns., And I have pictures of this on my blog from before, but we're going to go ahead and do the video since people, Like the videos. Turn your head, this way., I have wet her hair down and I've parted it on one side., So not in the middle.. I just put it on her natural part, which is on the left.. You can part it on whichever side. Then I take from the part down and section off a little section and just hold --. Would you hand me one of those rubber bands, babe -Big or small -This one.. Thank you.. Just put this back in a pony to keep it out of the way., So I begin at this top right next to the part. And you just start twisting. And as you're twisting down -- fix that hair right. There -- you just twist in the other hair., So you just add the hair in as you go down down down. And it creates a nice little tight twist. I twist from the front of her face towards the back.. I suppose you can do it the other way, but it might look a little funny. And then have her hold. Undo, this. And again take a little section section. It down. Pull it back. And again go up at the top and begin and just start twisting. The hair. And as you're twisting down let your fingers work the rest of the hair in., I'm going to go back up and twist that in a little farther. And you create a nice little twist. There, you go. One more., I like three.. I suppose you can only do one or two, but I personally like three. So again, twist. This one gets so many comments when we wear this out and about.. This hairdo looks much harder and more complicated than it really is, but it stays really well put the whole day and is very cute.. So now I'm going to just come back here and just part the rest of her hair in half. Make sure you have it parted even., I'm going to take the rest of her hair and I like to wet it down.. It just holds in better.. Of course, the tween version of this would be to do it on dry hair. Little bit softer twists.. Everything with the tweens is a little looser, looking and softer., But since she's younger -- and form a ponytail and then just pull all three twists back into the ponytail. And secure it with a rubber band.. Now I'm going to go ahead and twist the ponytail altogether and twist it up and around the rubber band. And secure it with another rubber band.. And then I like the little ends fluffing out.. You can twist those down in and just secure them with the rubber band as well. So you don't see them at all, but I think it's fun to have them popped, out. And then repeat the process on the other side.. So try to make your twists even by parting, approximately, where the other parts were. Again from front of face to back of face.. So this morning is a Sunday morning. And we like to do the hair on the Sunday morning, because it's a day when daddy is home to film. Hold.. So if you've noticed that my outfits aren't changing, that's why., I try to get more than one video filmed. Put that out of the way. Begin to twist. Last one. Keep twisting.. This is a good one for summertime.. Well, it's really a good one for any time. Honestly., But we do this one, a lot for soccer games because it stays in so well or even swim days or a day at the beach. This is a good one., Although the only thing I will say is: you must be careful about the parts. Because there's a lot of them, so they have a tendency to get sunburned. So make sure you put some sunscreen down those parts. If you're going to be out in the sunshine too long. Comb it up into a ponytail., Add the twists in.. Do you have the big one Form a pony. Twist it around. Rubber, band. And then fluff the ends. Oops. Get my comb here. And then secure it with a little bit of hairspray. And you're done. Show daddy how cute

Mindy McKnight: @Lilersful Yes, with a spray bottle. You can have them shower first if you want. I find that for this style, wet hair makes it easier to prevent flyaways, and keeps the style looking crisp and defined.
