1920S Great Gatsby inspired looks for a huge this year, and not only are they really flattering, but they're also a lot of fun too. So today, I'm going to show you how to create this flirty updo. That is inspired by this era. I like to start with my hair curled because I feel like it gives the look a little bit more texture, but this should work with any hair type to freshen up my hair and add a little bit more volume. I'M just going to add some dry shampoo to various sections of my hair and then I'm going to comb through it to evenly distribute the product when that's finished, take your favorite, headband or head wrap and place it over the top of your head. Like a crown and now for the fun part, take your first section of hair closest to your face and then pull the rest of your hair. Out of the way to the side, then you're going to take that section of hair and wrap it around the headband. Until there's just a little piece showing at the end, then you're going to take your second piece of hair and a little trip to make it easier to wrap around the head. Bed is, if you twist it a couple times and then pull it through the headband. Again, leaving that little piece at the end, the reason why we're leaving a little piece at the end and not wrapping the whole thing around is so that you can add it to your next section of hair, and it will actually make your updo last. A lot longer here, I'm just repeating the steps so take your last piece of hair. Add it to the new spread twist it and then wrap it around the head bed. It'S pretty easy and it doesn't take a whole lot of practice. When I get to the very last section I like to leave two pieces of hair framing my face and then what you want to do is wrap the piece around and just tuck it in the back. I also like to loosen up a few pieces because I like more of a messy look and that kind of gives it a modern twist, but with a vintage look, you can use some bobby pins to help hold your hair in place to prevent it from unraveling. Then all you have to do is hairspray for a little bit of security and you're all finished. Lipstick was a luxury back then so, don't forget to add your favorite pink lipstick, put on a couple of tools and you are ready to go swing dancing. So that is all for my twenties inspired updo. I hope you guys enjoyed it. I hope you have an amazing new year and I will see you with more videos. In 2014, you
