Fierce Faux Braided Updo On Natural Hair!!! (Rubber Band Elegant Updo)

So you don't miss any uploads from me, so we just gon na jump right into the video first things. First, I'm starting out on here. That'S already washed moisturized and all that good stuff, alright, so anyways. So as you can see I'm starting out at the back of my hair, some padding here, then I split that into two I'm using this touchdown gel that I did not show you. But if you keep watching you're gon na see it okay and I love the way this touchdown gel - gives me a really really good hold. I love the jail, it's not flaky and it's also good with like moisturizing my hair. So I really love this. So I'm gon na be using rubber bands to tie the hair, but I just want you to know, but it's very important that you put oil on the rubber bands that way it doesn't cause friction to your hair when you do this kind of hairstyle, alright. So, as you can see, I had to go off-camera to do my regular lines, because I cannot do that on Connor. He does already know that, even when I do it off camera, I still can't get it straight, so I pull my hand, rubber bands and about I think I had 11 of them. First line is just two of them. The second line I have four and the last line I have five. Okay, that's very important just because you're gon na have to connect the hair when you're braiding it. So I just figured out have to you know like you'll know that, but it's, however, you want the style come out so on to the next I'm connecting the hair, but guys I don't know how to explain this. So I'm just gon na let the camera. You know show you what I'm doing but yeah, I'm just connecting by braiding cleaning in here and coming to the next one, that's on top of it, but not the straight line, because I wanted to go like on the side. It'S like zig zag, going on situation here and then I'm just gon na plate it and when I play it, I just connect it to the next. But when I'm connecting to the next, it's actually different ways that you can do this. You just do some hair from the next braid and bring it up. It'S really easy you! So, as you can see, I have like how many lines - 1, 2 3 4 lines, and they are all going on one side, all right. So using my favorite eco, styler gel, but first things I just want to show you guys that this is the touchdown edge control that I used. It'S not a gel sorry. I made a to control and that's what I was using to anyway, so using eco styler gel olive oil, I'm just gon na put that on the rest of the hair. That'S remaining. You know to kind of have a flick. My hair, you guys, know the drill you know. I always do this, I'm always using eco styler gel, because that's BAE, that is BAE. Okay, okay, after I put in enough eco styler gel, I'm tying my hair make sure it's not too tight using the edge control. I'M gon na take a little bit of that and just put it on the parameter of my head and then this is the hair that I'm using guys. I really love this here for updos. It'S very easy to use it's very soft and it's not too Sookie for natural hair. I just think I just feel like it's the perfect texture, especially when you're trying to do like kind of like a straight hair like a blowout hair, natural hair. I guess I can put it that way, but yeah, so I'm just showing you right here, then I'm gon na break the hair like so, and I use two pucks by the way and always make sure that you tie the end of your braid. That way, it doesn't unravel we're gon na take off the scarf, because we have completed our mission okay. Now before we continue, you know doing a little band. We'Re gon na take this section right here and cover up the band that we'll be covering in here. You know we don't want the night, your hair to be sticking out and looking all funny, so we're gon na cover that up and use a bobby pin. So I'm taking the first braid and I just wrapped it around the ponytail itself and the second braid will come in the same direction and wrap it around and secure that with the bobby pin or rather with bobby pins. At this point, you really just have to play with the band, see what works for your head, hairstyle, that you're going for you know you can just it up if you want to alright guys. So this is the end of the look. I love this hairstyle is so cute. It'S so elegant. You know you can even rock this. I like it wedding, can be a Bridal up to you know what I'm saying anyways.
