I'M going to show you how to get a $ 5 protective style in under five minutes. So let's get started so we're going to start off by show you all the products you're going to need for this tutorial, I'm going to using two packs of kolenka line. Hair one pack is a jumbo pack and the other pack is an original. I'M also going to be using hair spray, and that's going to help me move my hair down. I don't like gel and I'm also going to using some bobby pins. Of course we are going to be needing a brush, which is my old, good, faithful and a little bit of edge control. Now, in this tutorial, I didn't use the edge control. I did just stay with the hairspray, but I want to show you guys that you do have options. Okay, then I drop the hair, so this is the smaller pack of the collecting line hair. This is the original amount of hair that you get inside of an average pack and what I'm going to do is you separate this hair and I'm going to make one big two strand twists, so this is what your twists should look like now, I'm just going To take my wrap off, I did just again just used hairspray to move my hair down. I didn't like my hair to be too hard, and this is what it looks like. It is still very soft. You can use a stronger hold hairspray if you like, but I don't like strong hold. So what I'm going to do is apply a little more hairspray to get those flyaways down, and this is how I move my hair. I take the hairspray in the end of a tail comb and I smooth it into place. You can also use a curling wand to help those hair stay down, but I didn't use that in this tutorial now, I'm just going to take my first pack of hair and I'm going to attach that to my top knot and I'm going to be twisting this Hair around in a circular motion, I'm going to be molding the hair into place as I'm going. I am going to loosen up my not just a little bit, but at this point, you're just going to mode it into place and the main objective is to make sure that you're covering the knot underneath your big bun. You don't want your natural hair to show through this top now, so I'm just going to keep molding my hair into place. I don't want my twist to be too tight, but again, your main objective is to make sure that you're covering up your knot, so you're just going to be manipulating this ponytail. So I'm going to take two to three bobby pins. I'M going to start to place them inside of my bun. I'M not going to make this bun too secure, because I am going to be making some final adjustments, but this is to make sure that the hair stays in place while I'm styling. So once you're happy with the shape, we're gon na move on to pack number 2, which is the Jumbo hair and as you can see, this hair is definitely a lot thicker than the original braiding hair. Again, I'm going to separate this hair into two sections and then I'm going to make one large twist. So once your twist is all finished, as you can see, this twist is definitely a lot bigger. I'M going to be using the rubber band that came with this actual hair. If you don't have a rubber band, you can always pin this hair into place, but the rubberband was a lot easier, so I just kind of wrapped it around my bun. So the reason I like to use jumbo hair in the front is because I want my twist to be a lot bigger and I want it to be a lot thicker. So, even if I twist it really tight, as you can see, it's still very large. So here you can make it as tight or as loose as you want. Of course, the looser your twist is, the bigger your framing or the bigger your knot is in the front. So what I'm going to start to do is just place. The hair, where I want it to be, and I'm basically going in a clockwise motion and I'm going to be twisting and Penni as I go now doing some final adjustments, making sure that you can't see my rubber band underneath and making sure I'm filling in all Of the spaces, and then I'm going to just go ahead and start to really put in all of the bobby pins, because now I'm liking the shape that I created. Now we're going to be doing some checking and make sure that the whole style is cohesive and it doesn't look like two big ponytails and I noticed that I had a little space here. So I'm just going to take some bobby pins and I what I'm going to do is actually connect both of those buns together. So, as I say, it looks like one cohesive, hairstyle and not two ponytails, so I'm just going to loosen up my twist in the front and pin that into place and now that I am satisfied with the placement of my bun. That is going to complete this tutorial. It was very simple and really easy to recreate. It'S a really easy protective style, and this is the finished look if you guys want to get more information on this makeup. Look, I will have that listed in description box or you can click the video on your screen and you will be directed right to that makeup tutorial. So thanks guys for watching and don't forget to subscribe, talk to you later,
