90'S Messy Curly Updo Tutorial With Bangs | ** No Glue Needed** | Ft. Shein Wrap Around Ponytai

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, it's your favorite influencer kirsten simone and today i'll be showing you how to do the trendy, updo messy bun, with bangs we're going to be using sheen's wrap around ponytail. This is a 16 inch body wave ponytail that we'll be using today. What i'm going to start off with is just sectioning off my bang area, as if we were doing fringe bangs, so just an oval shape. Going back to, however, big or small that you want your bang section to be after i carve out my bangs, i will be putting the bangs section up and then we will be working on how to form the actual ponytail all right. So, first i'm going to start by brushing all of my hair in one direction, so we're going to be brushing our hair in the direction. We want our ponytail to go, which is upward, and i am just going to be carving out my edges or my baby. Hair or, however, i want my edges to lay with this style of ponytail to make sure that everything is in place, we're going to be using pump it up spritz spray to hold our ponytail together. So i'm just going to spray that all around my hair and get all of that product on my hair and then i'm just going to brush everything into place. Now i'm going to take some rubber bands and rubber banding my hair into place into the ponytail so that we can secure the ponytail from sheen on the top of our head and now that the ponytail is in place. I'M just going to add a few more pumps of spritz just to make sure no hair is cowlicking or doing anything that ain't supposed to be doing, and so now we are going to be taking the actual ponytail. I had the hardest time with this ponytail, but just literally clip the ponytail go under your ponytail. Take the extended part, which is the part for the wrap section and then just wrap your hair, as you would a normal ponytail. This may not feel the most secure, but just put your bobby pins into place so that your ponytail can stay if you're not going to be pinning it up into a bun or anything like that, and now that i have finished wrapping the ponytail. I'M just going to make sure my ponytail is secure and i'm just going to drag the ponytails on all directions. Um of my head so make sure, there's hair on the left right front and back so that when we are scrunching up the ponytail as i'm doing right here, you will have hair on all even sides, and so what i'm doing now is i just scrunched the Back of my hair up to create a higher ponytail and secured it with a pen, and so now i'm just going to take another section of the ponytail and i'm going to start scrunching it up as if it's going to be in a bun and securing it With pins i didn't have bobby pins, so i was using um these silver pens, but the hair is going to be so messy and big that you're not even going to see all of those pins. So all around i'm just scrunching up the ponytail to make it look like an actual bun. A easier way to do this is to get one of those like donut things. We used to have back in middle school, put that in the middle of your hair and just start falling having the hair fall and covering that donut. You know like we should do in middle school if you're not able to scrunch it up in this particular manner. But i'm just scrunching up each sides of the ponytail making the curly parts a little bit shorter because we don't want all of those long parts. But we also do not want to cut the ponytail of course. So i'm just scrunching up the hair into a bun and making those in pieces that we're going to curl later on a little bit shorter. So so and even in some instances, i'm just wrapping um little pieces of hair around the bun that we're forming. So it can be a more secure bun and you can get rid of all of the unnecessary hair that you're not going to be using for the curly hair. That'S going to be outside of the misti bun. So, oh, and so now that we have the bun secured we're gon na leave the hair, the ponytail alone and we're gon na work on our edges. I just put a little eco styler gel on my edges and literally just gelled them up in the fashion that i liked so so so so and for the bang portion. I'M just going to take two clipping pieces that i made a while ago. If you do not want to use glue, this is a great alternative um i didn't want to use glue because i just gave myself a relaxer and i did not feel like going through all that. So now i'm just going to section off my bang portion into two pieces so that we have our bangs and the way that we're going to clip in our bangs we're going to separate the section that we made for the two and make it into four. So we're gon na go like i'm doing now, i'm just separating another middle piece and that piece became two pieces you're going to put your clip in portion in the middle of those two pieces and lay your actual bang back on top of the track. So the track is not showing and what i'm doing now is just taking my wax stick and i'm just waxing my bangs into place, and then i am going to be taking each section of my bang combing it through i'm going to take my flat iron and We'Re going to begin the curling process of the bang and the ponytail. So, oh and now that i have everything curled, my little pieces of hair were still too long for me, so i scrunched them together and i clipped it with a pen, and this is our finished look.
