Hey guys, what's up Cooney K here, welcome back to my channel, so today's video is gon na, be all about styling, your old crusty, dusty hair. When it's at the end of the week - and it's close to wash thing - you don't know what to do with it and your hair. Basically just looks like like this or close to like this. It might not get this bag. Mine gets this bad, so it is dry and like did you guys know just some pretty when your hair is in this kind of stage and you're not just quite ready to wash it yet or you don't have time. Here are a few styles that you can wear to school all to work, to parties to church. All of that so yeah, let's get started alright. So, as you can see my hair, it's very tangled NMS, so I'm gon na start off by spraying it with some water. I know it's in like a diva curl bottle, but it's actually just playing water in there and I'm just doing that so it my hair is easier to work with and then I can start styling. So this first style is just gon na be a Midway puff. So not a high puff, not a little puff, but right in the middle. So this is great when your hair is all tangled up and you can't get a good high puff, you can kind of do it in the middle and it kind of just looks like your hair is a little fro and if you have short hair, this is Also great style to do so. Of course, I'm just brushing it through with some eco styler just to smooth out my edges and then I'm using my nylon string or a hair tie just to kind of pull my hair into place, and I just move the front part of the string. A little back so then I can get it right in the center of my head and then I just pull it back and forth until I get my desired placement and then I just fluff it out, it's very simple, very easy all right, so this next style Is also very very easy: it's just a sock bun, so I just started off by brushing my edges and the back of my hair to get it nice and smooth, and then I put my hair up into a very high secure ponytail at the top of my Head and this hairstyle is very good for, if you do not want to detangle your hair and or your hair is really thin or if you just have shorter hair, you can get a nice full high bun with this, and, of course it's just a sock like I said it's a sock bun, it's just a sock cut at both ends and then rolled up into that doughnut shape, and then I just place that on top of my ponytail, so it's really easy to make. If you don't know how to make it, you can literally google it and you just take an old sock roll it up and stick it on your hair and then cover it with your hair. So, in this case, you do not have to have a nice full ponytail to like make a nice full bun. You can kind of just cheat and get this really good structure with the sock all right, so for this next style, I choose to part my hair on the side and then I'm just going to detangle my hair a little bit by just brushing through it. So it's nice and fluffy and then I'm going to start twisting my hair in two parts. So I am twisting away from my face and I'm not doing a flat twist. I'M just doing a like a rollup kind of twist and if you do prefer to do flat to us, you can go ahead and do that. But for this case I just like the way this looks and it looks a little fuller when I do it. This way, so I'm just gon na roll it up twist it and then tie it at the end with an elastic and then, of course, I go ahead and I do the same thing on the other side, and then I put them together by twisting each piece And then pinning it behind each like opposite twist. If that makes sense, I'm sure you guys can see what I'm doing. It'S not very complicated. You can kind of pin it eat any way that you want to, pin it or you can just put it into a bun or whatever works for you all right. So this next hairstyle is also very, very, very simple. All I do is start off on some. Like brushed out hair - and I don't you know - have to fully detangle it for this, but I just start off by brushing it a little bit to get it nice and flat, and then I part my hair down the middle or, if you want, you could also Do a side part it's just easier for me to do it down the middle just because my hair is not detangled from the roots so to get it flatter. I feel like it's easier to work in a middle part, so, as you can see, I'm just tying. My hair into two low pigtails and then I just go ahead and I twist them up into a bun and a night pin it, and this hairstyle is great. If you'd like to kind of have fun with your edges or baby hairs or whatever. You want to call them, you can kind of do like little swirls to kind of like spice it up or you can just leave it nice and plain I kind of do it a little like in-between. I don't like to do too much or too little. So if you really like to do your baby hairs, this is the perfect style for you. I feel like it looks so cute when you add some waves and curls, and all of that, so this gives you a lot of freedom to do that and it just gives it a little bit more edge, so yeah, okay, so now you're gon na have to Get out your braiding skills and I'm gon na do this style that I feel like I've been seeing so much on social media. So first we're gon na start off by taking two little pieces on the sides of our heads. As you can see right by my ears and I'm starting, obviously at the front of my hair and just going down, maybe like two inches, that's as deep as I'm gon na go. Some people like to go all the way down towards the back of their head, but you know just preference and then I'm obviously going to comb them out a little bit move my hair out of the way and then I'm going to be using a little bit Of braiding hair, so just some extensions if your hair super long go ahead and just use your natural hair, but I just wanted to have some weight in these braids. So then it's just not like sticking out and looking crazy. So I just added some braiding hair and then cornrowed my hair from the back to the front and kind of just pulled it forward. I hope that makes sense. I can't really show you guys how I'm braiding it, but if you get how to cornrow, I'm sure you know how to kind of braid backwards towards your face. So it's not very difficult and then I just like I cut the ends of the extensions. So it's around, like my collarbone length and then I just take some jewels and I just clip it in there make it look. Cute tie the ends with some elastic, so it doesn't unravel. Obviously, and now I just go ahead and I tie my hair and it's slick ponytail going back with the middle part, and this hairstyle is very simple: it's trendy! It'S cute, I feel like you can wear this to any occasion. So that's about that. I hope you guys, like it all right, so we're gon na keep our hair in this middle part style, and this time I'm actually just doing cornrows on the sides of my head. So this is a style I used to do all the time when I was a kid for some reason. My mom loved doing this. I think, because it kind of keeps any like front hair frizz away. So I do my braids very small just because I like to get all my edges in to the braid and not that I want it like pull on them. But I just want them to like comfortably stay in the braid and if I do it bigger, they tend to come out and get a little messy. So this is preference. You can make the braids bigger, obviously and kind of shape them. However, you want so I just choose to do this size and then I secure the end with a little hair elastic and then same as the last one. I just go ahead and I take some jewels to kind of spice it up and make it a little pretty, and this also adds some weight to the braid. If you're doing it with your natural hair, adding jewels to it kind of weighs it down. So then it hangs on your face and it doesn't end up like sticking out throughout the day if you have beads, that's even better, because they have a little bit more weight to them and yeah. So, of course, I go ahead and I do the same thing on the other side slick, my hair back into a little ponytail or bun, whatever you want and that's about it all right so for this next style, I just start off by putting my hair into A really high ponytail kind of leaning it towards the side. Of course you can kind of Center the ponytail. So then your ponytails going straight back or you can do it completely to the side and have your ponytail braid thing kind of falling completely to the side. Alright, so now I'm just taking a regular elastic and wrapping it around the braiding hair to create like a bit of a loop. This is basically like how the hair looks when you take it out the package, so it kind of fold it in half and loop. It through and then pull that elastic part. So then you can tie that on to your actual ponytail and then after you do that you just flip the hair over obviously and then cover your natural hair as much as possible, because the textures are so different. You don't want to have your natural hair on top and the braiding hair on the bottom, and just like back and forth the whole time so cover it as much as you can and then braid it all with your natural hair going underneath, if that makes sense. So cover your natural hair and then slowly braid it to get it in there as much as possible, and then you can just continue your braid regularly after your actual hair stops. So, as you can see, I'm just making sure I'm tucking all my hair, underneath this braid and underneath that, like kind of I guess, lump at the top so like that part can be a little bit bigger and then you can go ahead and keep braiding. If you want, you can use some extra braiding hair to wrap around the top of this ponytail to create like a bigger, like stand up kind of ponytail. If that makes sense. But I just like to leave it like this and then I braid it all the way to the bottom again add some jewels tie the end, so it doesn't undo itself pin anything that needs to be pinned and that's about that all right. So for this next time my camera, for some reason, didn't record the first part. But as you can see, my hair is just separated into six different pieces. I'M mainly only going to be using the first four and then the last two are just to attach the back two pieces to that. So, as you can see, I'm just twisting my hair away from my face and just like rolling it up and then I'm attaching it to the other piece. That'S a diagonal from that one and then I'm going to use a little elastic to tie them both together and secure it very tight. So it's nice and flat and then I do the same thing to the other side. And then I just take all four of those or I guess the two pieces now and I secure it to the back ones. And then I take my hair and I put it into two little ponytails really close together at the top of my head, and then I fold them over to create kind of like bun, but not really it not a tight one. It'S like two buns right beside each other but they're very loose. So then it looks like one big button. If that makes sense, and then I just pin everything in place to how I want it, I try to fluff it out as much as possible and that's about it, and then I just brushed my edges, obviously and then pin anything else. I needs to be secured and that's it alright, so that is it for today's video. I hope you guys enjoyed it and that you found a style that you liked or one that you I don't know. Maybe you want to try and if you did comment down below, let me know what your favorite one is and make sure you subscribe thumbs up this video and obviously turn on the notification button right sheena right.
