This is a little embarrassing, hey everyone! It'S Jordan Faith here on my channel. I do all sorts of wavy hair content, which explains why I have so many hair products they're getting a little out of control. So I'm going to take them all off my shelves and out of my bathroom and get them all together and assert them into three categories: keep give empty and I'll get the ones that I'm keeping all nice and pretty on myself when I'm done. Let'S get started foreign, I started by gathering all of my products on my rug right in front of me and I'm just going to look at all of them and sort them into one of three bins. My blue bin is the keep pile the brown cardboard box is my give box and the little gray beige box in the back is my empties, which I have been hanging on to. So I can ask you all if you would like an empties review video. I did miss just a couple products when I was going through and Gathering everything, but most of them were empties. I ended up sorting through these at least three times. I think I ended up doing it four times. I'M really indecisive and of course I have to take into account that I need these products for my content, not only for washing and doing my hair, so that makes it a little bit more complicated and I already struggle a little bit with reorganizing and purging. So I was just doing my best this time when I was going back through them, I decided to put them all into categories, so I could get a better idea of how many I had of each category of product, which wasn't as helpful as I wanted it To be, but I still think it was a good idea at the end of these clips, when I thought I was done sorting, I was not actually done. These products were not all in their actual final resting places. I did go through one more time off camera and make a few adjustments now it's time for me to go over them with you. This is my first batch of products to give away and a lot of these products that I'm giving away are opened, of course, because I have tried most of them and some of them I've used more than others, but I am going to be posting them on My local buy nothing group, and I know that a lot of people on there will be more than happy to receive these. So here I have all my as I am products and all of the Cantu products that I have. These are not made for my hair type. Unfortunately, in the beginning, when I was very focused and deep into the curly girl method, I picked up a lot of these products that I saw a lot of other people using and recommending when really these are not at all made for my hair type. And although I can get away with using them, because I have so many other products to rotate them out with, I know much better now that none of these are the best choice for my hair, and I have so many products that are more appropriate and work. Much better for my hair, so I want to pass these on to people who can actually get use out of them. This one is unopened. I have never used this one. My best friend actually got this for me and then we were both like yeah. This is not the right choice, so it is going to someone else totally brand new, and I know someone will get great use out of all of these. Here is another batch of things that are not the right choice for my hair type. I don't think these products are bad, I'm not at all slandering them. I have gotten all of these to work fairly well in my hair routine. But again that is just because I can rotate them with a million other products that actually are formulated correctly. For my specific hair, so they don't get the chance to build up and really weigh me down over time, but even in one-off use. They just don't give me my most desired results because they're too heavy for my hair. Some of these I love, but the formulation is much better suited for someone else and I have better replacements for me in my collection already. So I'm passing these along. These products are not necessarily wrong for my hair type, but I have found them to be a bit heavier than what is ideal for my hair and I don't particularly enjoy the scent of either so I'm going to pass these along and almost all of them are Practically still full these products are pretty much just fine for my hair type, but they're, just not my favorites. This I find doesn't give me as good results as a lot of the other mousses that I have this. I find flakes on me, which I really don't enjoy and I don't get from any other products. I'M really excited to get all of those posted and passed along to new homes to new people who will really enjoy them. I have all of these. In my keep pile, I really went back and forth about it, but I want to give all of these a second chance. These are the generic value products conditioning balm. A lot of the curl talk products, a not your mother's travel, size, dry, shampoo and the briogeo hair oil. I haven't really used any of these more than three or four times some only ones and I'm not a big fan of any of them. I don't think they're bad. I just don't find that they give my hair what it wants and they don't give me the results that I like the most, but I want to try some of them out a few more times before I decide if I should pass them along or if I Should keep them same with this one that should have been in with the others I like it, it's pretty lightweight as far as oils go. If you know me or you've been here before, you know that I absolutely love this collection right here. The Umberto giannini curl jelly line, I haven't, tried anything else from the curl jelly line, but I love these three products: the shampoo, the conditioner and the jelly. I love the packaging they work really really well. For me, I love the consistency of each product. I don't love the smell, but I don't mind it and I just always find myself reaching for these, because I love the way they work on my hair. This is the Eco slide banana cream, deep conditioner. This has to be kept in the fridge, which I don't mind. It doesn't bother me, but because of that I always forget about it. This is technically past its best by date, but it still smells and looks fine, so I'm not gon na pass it along. I'M going to keep it and I'm going to try to remember to use it, because I really do like it. I will make sure to get it used up the classic Suave daily, clarifying shampoo. This is how you know. I am completely honest. I would pass this along, it's a fine shampoo, but it doesn't do anything special for me, but I'm Gon na Keep it just for maybe the occasional use for shampooing, but also because it makes a great bubble bath. This is a shampoo that I'm keeping because I love of the ion hard water shampoo. It works very, very well. For me, it smells great. It'S relatively affordable, still pricier than most drugstore items, but not Salon prices. This one is clarifying as well as chelating, which means it works really well to break up any mineral buildup and remove it. Kinky Curly clean is very similar to the ion hard water shampoo. I like this one, just slightly less, but I am keeping it because I enjoy it and because I make hair focused content and I don't want it to be the same thing over and over and over. I do feel like. I need a slightly larger collection than the average person so since I do really enjoy this one and since it's about halfway gone anyway, I am going to keep this one and finish it off. Another shampoo, the Maui, moisture, vanilla bean shampoo and I love it. I'M keeping it it smells so good. I'M a vanilla girl. This one is really affordable. It'S moisturizing, but not heavy, which is a really good and hard to find combination for my hair, especially in the cold or dryer months, and I definitely recommend this one, even though I sometimes forget about it. I do really like it. The Volume 5 kiwi clarifying shampoo is my go-to for basic clarifying. It'S super affordable, even though it's super basic, it still works. Well, this is raw sugar. The bounce back shampoo - and I actually haven't used this one all that much it's almost empty and that's mostly because my husband's been using it. It smells really good it's a little bit on the heavy side because it does have mango butter. But it is a good shampoo. I would probably be passing it on, though, if it were just up to me, but I'm keeping it because it's almost gone and my husband really likes using it. Of course, I'm keeping my keratin freshening, shampoo and conditioner. I really do love these products. I don't just say that in the videos that they pay me for these were given to me, and I have worked with the brand a few times, but I genuinely really enjoy these products and I'm really glad I have two sets of them. The shampoo is really nice in cleansing without stripping and drying out my hair strands and the conditioner is lightweight, but not too light and not too thin, and it really does a good job of conditioning my hair and adding back that smoothness and shine. This is the natural mother's curl talk shampoo. I have three of them. I really like them. This is one of my favorite shampoos, this one's almost empty. This one is unopened, and this one I think I've used a couple times on accident when I couldn't find this one. I'Ve never worked with, not your mother's, but they did send me this shampoo and I'm happy. They did because I really like it, they sent it to me with the conditioner, though, and I don't really like the conditioner, but, like I said earlier, I want to give it a couple. More tries just in case I misjudged it in here. We have the audacity shampoo bar. It gives you a really nice lather, it cleanses super super. Well, it has a really nice herbal smell and I just have found that I love the shampoo bar. I would have more shampoo bars if I could go back and and buy a bar instead of buying a bottle. I would try more bars hoping to in the future, though the Pacifica pineapple curls shampoo is pretty good. I really like the smell and I love the packaging. It'S not my favorite shampoo, but it does work well for my hair type and I really don't know why it's not one of my favorites, but it's just not. These are my formulate products. I have two of the shampoos. Still one is almost empty and I have some conditioner still. I really like these. They have a nice citrusy scent. They were sent to me for free because I worked with the brand a long time ago. I haven't finished the products. Just because I have so many - and sometimes I don't rotate them as well as I should, but I do really enjoy these. They are a bit on the pricey side, though, and if you have hair like mine, you can probably get away with not customizing your products. If you don't have any specific skin issues or allergies, or anything like that, that more demands you to be in better control of your ingredients. I have way too many products, I'm not even halfway through this is the not your mother's Naturals aquatic mint and Coastal sea. Holly collection, it focuses on scalp refreshing, it is minty and it's more on the mint Colony side. It doesn't smell, very sweet. I love the packaging of these products and I think they're very good. I really like this shampoo - and this is my favorite conditioner from the not your mother's Naturals collections, that I've tried it's not too heavy or too thick, and it doesn't feel waxy like some of the other ones. I also really like the scalp Mist I like to spray this on my scalp after I've worked in the yard or done some exercise or gone on a sweaty walk, because it really helps make my scalp feel refreshed. I'M not trying to promote it or use any buzzwords from the bottles, but it just gives a refreshing feeling to my scalp after I have sweat a little bit and it's super lightweight. It doesn't leave me greasy. It is just a spray. It'S not like a dry shampoo, but it somehow does just leave my scalp feeling cleaner and more fresh. This is the ion keratin shampoo and the ion keratin smoothing mask these are actually from my mom, and I used this line from ion right before I switched into curly girl method, which was not the right choice. For me. Good thing, I never did it strictly, but I actually haven't used these at all recently, but I do like them and I'm keeping them, because I want to try them again and maybe do a video on them to tell you my full review. These are the generic value products, tea tree, oil, shampoo and conditioner oops. I have them backwards, not that it matters. The generic value products are all supposed to be compared to Salon Brands and these ones you're supposed to compare to the the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree. Special shampoo and conditioner I've never tried those. So I can't compare them, but I do really like these. They are just your standard, regular, shampoo and conditioner. This gives a good clean, but not a squeaky clean, and this conditioner is really lightweight just the right consistency. For me, and it makes it really easy to detangle I'm keeping the Kinky Curly not today, leave-in conditioner wait am I yeah. I think I will just because I'm keeping the shampoo and I want to keep them together, and I do like this. It works really well to detangle. I don't necessarily need a leave-in, but it's not too too heavy, and I do like to use some in the colder drier months. So I'm going to hang on to this because it is one of the better, more moisturizing, but not too heavy leave-ins that I have - and I know I can make use of it in this upcoming season and my husband definitely can them too. Let me know if you want a video of me styling his hair, it's long in the middle short on the sides, and it is wavy like mine. These are my Garnier Fructis masks, smoothing, treat hydrating, treat and Plumping treats this one is my new favorite, the hydrating treat it is the one with aloe and I only have a little sample of it. My husband picked it up for me and I really really like it. It reminds me of my Tresemme botanique, the smoothing treat avocado one used to be my favorite, and I still really like it, but it's almost empty, unfortunately, because I dropped it in the shower and lost quite a bit of it. But I have also used quite a bit of it. It is one of my favorites. I especially love it as a little bit of leave-in in the winter, but it's almost gone and I probably won't be replacing it, but only because I have so many other products. I really like the Plumping treat, I love the smell and it is the lightest one, but sometimes I find it just the tiniest bit too light for me, which is weird to say, because usually my hair loves all the lightest possible products, but it's just not as Creamy and conditioning as I want it to be just barely, but I still like it and I'm Gon na Keep it and use it. This is my favorite mousse cake, the curl with mousse. I love the packaging. I love the smell. I love the consistency. I love. What it does for my hair? Unfortunately, it's almost gone. I will repurchase at some point to restock, but I will probably try to use up some of my other products. First. This is the Aussie headstrong volume mousse. I am keeping this to give it a few more tries. I do like it, I'm going to use it in a few different ways and refresh my memory and see how I feel these are my Aussie, instant, freeze, gels. I really love these. They work really well. They are a tiny bit on the heavy side, so if you're not careful, it can leave the hair a little bit oily. In my experience, I probably won't be buying more of this, even though I really like it, because, as I have new stylers, that I prefer a whole lot more now and I don't really aim for the super hard hold anymore. These are my anastasi products that are not empty they're, so little, and the only reason I still have some is because I forget about them and I forget to rotate as much as I need to I like the co-wash, but I've only used it a few times. My hair type doesn't really need co-washing, but I'm keeping this because it's so small and I want to use it a few more times. I really like the conditioner, it's super lightweight and I enjoy the custard. I haven't used it in a long time, but I'll have to make sure to use it up again soon and these I've actually never used they're newer. They are the liquid styling gel and the mango papaya custard. I got these on their free sample day recently, and I have yet to try them out. So I'll have to remember to do that soon, because they look exciting and Aussie is for natural hair. But I find that some of the product products are not too heavy and I do enjoy being able to purchase black owned where I can so. I can support them and I've had a lot of success with the Nasi products. This is the Garnier Fructis curl treat jelly. I really like this. I have quite a bit still left in this tub. It can be a little bit on the heavy side, which is sometimes typical of jellies and custards, but it gives me really good, hold nice shine and good enhancement to my waves. I think this might have been discontinued. I'M not sure, though this is the Pantene volume mousse, it's pretty good, it doesn't have amazing hold, but it does enhance my waves pretty well and it is really affordable. I use mousse quite a lot, so I am keeping this one because I'm sure I'll finish it off soon. It'S not my favorite, but I do really like this one. It is probably second place for actual mooses, not foams. Speaking of foam. This is the so cozy kids curl volumizing foam. It is also very affordable. It doesn't really add any volume despite the name, but it does work really well for definition. In my experience this is my favorite foam, the Keratin volumizing mousse. It is called a mousse, but it's actually a foam. It'S in a pump bottle, not an aerosol, it's very light, and it actually is pretty volumizing, but it does add good definition as well and a little bit of shine. It also really maximizes the bounciness. In my waves, this is the newest addition to my collection. It is the verb curl foaming gel made in collaboration with Mains by Mel, and it is so good. It is a foaming gel. It'S in a pump bottle, it comes out and it really is the consistency of. If you were able to foam up a lightweight gel, it has a soft to medium hold. For me me, it has a really light. Citrusy scent that just comes from the ingredients. It doesn't have fragrance, and it really gives me good definition, good volume, just the right level of hold, for what I aim for now, and it pretty much immediately became a new favorite and it has remained a favorite. These are my tralex products, the ones that are not empty, the high definition gel and the reflex serum. I really really like the gel, especially in the colder months, because it's a little more moisturizing, it's a little bit on the heavy side, but not too heavy, and it doesn't weigh me down. I imagine it possibly could if I used it every single day or every single wash. But again I rotate my products a lot because I have so many, but this really enhances my waves better than most other gels. It'S really impressive and I do like the serum, but I mainly use the serum for Styles like what I'm wearing today a, although I didn't put anything in my hair today, because everything was in here and I got ready in my bathroom. But I do like using it to smooth down more sweet Styles and updos, but it does work well for just styling my hair down. It'S a really soft hold and it adds a good shine. It'S called a serum, but it is a styling serum. So it's not really the kind of serum you would finish with it's more like a very, very, very thin gel and I haven't used these products very much recently, but I do like them and I should reach for them some more. I just get carried away with newer products when I get them, because I feel, like recently, I've been finding a lot of great products that I love. These are my other keratin products I probably should have lumped them all together. The Keratin root volumizer is one of my absolute favorite products. It is the number one best product that I've ever tried for giving me volume. It really makes a noticeable difference. The styling gel and the leave-in conditioner are also very good. They are a little bit heavier than I like to use in the summer, but I will get some use out of them in these colder months. I'M sure - and this is the Keratin silk serum, which is an awesome serum. It Smooths my hair so sleek and adds such good shine. I like to put it on hairstyles like this, but again not today. It does have some sort of packaging issue, like it leaks a little bit and it's messed up the label, and this is the high gloss Mist which I haven't used a ton recently, but it works really well, it doesn't have the best smell, but it dissipates right Away - and it really adds a nice glossy shine - these are the two curl talk, stylers that I like the most. The mousse is really good at enhancing my waves, but it does add a touch of grittiness, which is there to add volume. But it's not my personal preference. Sculpting gel is really good. It'S a light hold and it has a little bit of protein and, aside from the protein, it's very similar to the curl jelly consistency and results given, and I prefer the curl jelly. The results are a little bit better they're shinier they're softer, but I am hanging on to this. I'Ve used quite a bit of it and it is a good Styler for when I want some protein in my styling product, the meal babazoo and mint deep conditioner has been my favorite protein deep conditioner for a long time, and it still is it's very light and Very thin, but it is so perfectly balanced with protein and moisture for my hair, it just leaves my hair feeling like Silk. Afterwards, it's getting close to being empty and it does have a really strong mint scent, but it's worth it. For me, these are the two curl creams that I like that I don't find too heavy the Pacifica pineapple swirl cream is heavier and thicker, but it's still doesn't weigh me down. It has a nice smell, I don't use it very often. I am hanging on to it, so I can use it more and use it in my content and compare it to other products, but creams just aren't the best choice for my hair type, so I don't reach for them very often. The AG curl fresh definer is my favorite cream that I've ever tried it's not heavy whatsoever. It has a modifying quality that makes my hair feel more full, which I really love. It has a good dose of protein. It'S really thin, which makes it sort of difficult to work with, and it has a sunscreen like scent, but fortunately it doesn't linger in my hair. I still don't use it super often just because I rarely reach for a cream product. It gives me a soft to medium hold and my favorite thing about it is that modifying quality. These are the only two curlsmith products that I have ever tried: a little sample of the in-shower style fixer and my copper hair makeup. The in shower style fixer. I found to be a little bit too thick and heavy for my loose waves, but I am keeping it to give it a few more tries, it does have very good hold and it has a really nice enhancing properties, and I absolutely love the hair makeup. It would be gone, but I don't use it because I don't want to run out of it. It feels like something I should use on a special occasion. This is my little sample of the wedad climate control gel, it's good. It was expensive. I don't know if it is worth the price, but I do think it is really good. It'S a really thin gel and I usually prefer like a jelly consistency. This is my Giovanni La hold styling gel. This is a product that I recommend to people with hair. Like mine, a lot because it is super lightweight but has a very good cold, this is the pureology multitasking leave-in spray. This is really good. It was expensive, though, and I don't think for me - it's worth it, but I am keeping it because I do like it. I just wouldn't buy it again. This is my little baby sample of verb, ghost oil that came free with my purchase of the curl foaming gel, so I should have put them together and I should have probably bundled a lot more of these things. I'Ve used this a handful of times. It is very similar to the Keratin silk serum. I haven't looked at a price comparison or a true ingredients comparison, but they are both full of silicone, which is great in a serum. This is called an oil, but it is really more of a serum, because it's not just a blend of oils. It has a lot of silicone I'll, have to look into them a little bit more side by side. Compare price compare ingredients, things like that because they are extremely similar. This is my Umberto giannini flowerology color mask I've used one full bottle of this and I have this other one. They gave it to me, but I've never worked with them. I did really like this. It lasted a good couple weeks and it showed up better than I expected I'll have to decide when to put it on my hair again, I don't think I'm ready to quite yet this is the Pantene airspray number three. I have only used this a handful of times, but it does work well. It adds just that extra layer of hold without me having to touch my hair. This I picked up from Sally's during a sale. It is the Beyond The Zone, protein cocktail, leave-in treatment. I definitely haven't used it enough to give a comprehensive review, but I grabbed it because it has a ton of protein in it. So as soon as I feel like my hair needs, some more protein I'll be sure to reach for this. It'S super lightweight. It does have silicones, I am not on the curly girl method, bandwagon anymore, so I have no issue with using silicones and a lot of my products have them now, not all of them, though I still have a fair few without sulfates or silicones, and this is The last product, finally, the generic value product liquid sculpting gel supposed to be compared to Sebastian, wet, which I don't even know what that is. But I also picked this up in a Sally's sale and I have not used it even once. Yet it's a very liquidy thin gel, which are not usually my product of choice, but I really wanted to try it out. I wanted to try just a generic, very typical styling gel, to see how it works on my hair. We finally made it. Thank you. So much if you stuck around through all of that, let me know if you want me to also review all of my empties. If you liked this video, you found it helpful and informative for me to go back through all the products that I've ever used. Please give this video a thumbs up. Let me know if you have tried any of these products, which ones are your favorites, which ones you don't like. If you have any specific questions that I didn't cover, please ask them below. I tried to say as much as I could think of about each product product, but I'm sure that I missed things. So if I did - and you want to know something just ask me in the comments - if you didn't see a product here today - that you know I have used in the past, it's probably because I gave it to my sister-in-law I've given her a few products that I enjoyed, but that I thought would work well for her hair and I've kind of forgotten about them. So if there's one, you think is missing and you wanted to know about just ask me about it. I will answer I'm probably going to regret saying this, but the links for all of the products that I went over today will be in the description subscribe to my channel and click on the notification Bell. If you don't want to miss out on any of my new content, remember to love yourself fully and faithfully and I'll see you next time, foreign

Jordan Faith: I did indeed regret saying I’d link everything If you’re interested in purchasing anything PLEASE go through my links in the description ❤️ It hardly makes me any commission but I appreciate the support for all the time it took to gather the links

Natalie Jenner: This video was such fun to watch and so detailed! I did a recent purge of products and I know it can be hard to decide whether or not to keep or give away/throw away. At the end of the day though, if it just doesn't work for your hair or you don't like it, it's a lot easier to decide to get rid of it. You have a great hair product collection. Mine used to be pretty extensive but I got rid of stuff and am trying to use my stash before I buy anything new which is easier said than done. So many great brands and products out there that I want to try. Keep up the great content, I really enjoy your videos Jordan

Dena-Mo: Wow, Jordan Faith! Super comprehensive. I really dislike buying a product and then finding it really doesn't work for me. The As I Am leave in is one. No matter how tiny amount I use, my hair is like a grease bomb! It's sitting in my cabinet just collecting dust. Your recommendations makes me want to try the Kerotin brand. I'm on a use up the products I have plan currently, so trying something new will have to wait. I think I have enough product last me a year! Thanks for showing all your products and those you are keeping.

Becky Hoppert: Please do an empties video!! Finishing a product is so weirdly satisfying to me that I want to live vicariously through you Plus I just love your whole vibe and how open you are about not just hair. You are a gem!!

Mattar: wow these videos are so satisfying for me and would love to see an empties video! if you are to ever try another curlsmith product I feel you may like the hydro style flexi jelly. its moisturizing but super lightweight, medium hold, and has a jelly-like texture.

Lori Jean: I LOVED this video and always appreciate your honesty. Would like to see reviews of your empties.

Tina Storton: I agree about the empties video. And I loved this video. So much great information. I am a CurlSmith fan and I have similar hair stats as yours (except it’s older gray hair ) so I really like the Weightless Air Dry Cream and the Styling Soufflé. I also get great results with the Treluxe products. Love your videos!!

Pandorica: Lol, props for linking all those products! I would love to see an empties video if you get the chance.

Amy Senffner: Love it!!! I would love to see your empties!

Jasmine: This was great and very helpful to me! Thanks

Megan Ferz: Can you do a video for your rainy-day/high-humidity styling routine? I’d love to see which products you recommend - it’s hard for me to find styling products that don’t have lots of glycerin while also having enough hold without being too heavy Love your videos, always so well-done and organized!

MJ Kawai: So organised! Yes, please. I would love a video about empty products! I find that products with non water soluble silicone weight down my hair and give me frizz. I have no idea why.

Jane Smith: I loved this video! Just what I needed. Thank you so much! I was wondering if you could make a video of what products you would use/wash day routine if you were not making videos. Like if you had to pick what you would use if you weren’t an influencer and would just buy your favorites to use on a regular basis? I’m trying to go somewhat “minimal” with my products and only have one of what I need, and I try to stick to affordable and easily accessible. I appreciate that you are realistic and include tons of affordable, easily accessible options.

curlymom49: I would really like if you did some videos on Curlsmith products that work for wavy hair. Thanks!!

Sara Smith: What made you decide to use less hard hold gels and more soft to medium?

Amy n: Love it yes please do an empty product video

Jamie Shultz: I used to wash my body and my hair with one bar of soap!

Debra Parsons: So Organized

tvmom: I’m so doing this.

Jenny Rose: Ps I love As I Am but my hair is much thicker/ coarser than you.

Christy Price: I really should do this, but hate to get rid of anything....they'd be thrown away because I don't really have anyone to give them to.
