Today's video is a tutorial for 4 quick,simple and easy curly/wavy voluminous hair hairstyles for Homecoming, Prom, Formal or any semi-formal event you may have! These are great for beginners!

Hi guys and welcome back to my channel today, I have a different kind of video for you all. I thought I would create my first ever hair tutorial on these four quick and easy hairstyles. Now I am no hair dresser. So all these looks are super easy to create and seriously. If I can do them, anyone can so I know homecoming is coming up for all of you that are in America, but you can definitely also use these hairstyles for prom or any semi-formal event. You may have so I hope you guys, like the tutorial and let's get started, for these looks I'm going to have soft curls. So the very first thing I'm doing is spraying my hair with heat protectant. This is going to help protect our hair, so it doesn't get damaged as easily. Then I'm just brushing out any knots or tangles in my hair. Next, I'm going to part my hair and section off pieces to start curling it to create the curls. I'M going to be using my brand-new hair straightener. I got this to replace my manky 7 year old one which, let's face it, has seen better days. I find curling your hair with a hair. Straightener creates a more natural looking curl compared to curls created with a curling one, which is the look I want to go for today. I know there are a heap of different ways to curl your hair with the straightener, but the way I do it is, I take a section of hair and twist my straightener 360 degrees around then slide the straightener down my hair, my little tip for curling, your Hair is when you get to your top layer or any pieces around your face, always curl these bits away from your face. If you curl the hair towards your face, it just looks weird guys now, I'm just giving everything a quick spray with hairspray, then running my fingers through the curls to comb them out a bit. So for this first look: I'm sectioning off two pieces at the front of my face, then time the rest back to make it easier to put my headband on this is just a diamante headband you can get from any jewelry store. I think I got mine from a store called la visa for a few dollars de Monte. Headbands are a really cheap and simple way to make an otherwise boring, hairstyle, really cute and feminine. Then I'm simply just taking out my ponytail and pinning back the pieces. We left at the front with some bobby pins, then, to finish off this first look: I am pulling out some bits of hair near my ears and you're done so for the second look, you want to part your hair to the side and create a messy side. Braid then, once I've done that I'm going to pull at it to make it look really fat and volumous. Next, I'm going to pin back the front of my hair just so it doesn't keep flopping in my face and then I'm taking a bit of hair and wrapping it around the hair tie to hide it then, to finish off the second: look: I'm again pulling bits Of hair out from around my ears and recalling them to create really tight curls - and this is the finished look now onto the third hairstyle. So for this look I'm going to start off by brushing out my curls to loosen them up a bit. Then I'm grabbing a section of hair from behind my ear and braiding it. Next, you want to pull your hair into a low ponytail and pin your braid behind your other ear, with a bobby pin and finally, to finish off. This look grab a piece of hair and wrap it around. The hair tie to hide it to keep it in place, just tuck the ends into the hair tie behind the ponytail. So that is the third look finished and now onto the fourth and final look. First, I'm sectioning off some pieces to make some fake bangs and I'm also sectioning off the bottom layer of hair and tying back the rest. Next, I'm grabbing that die Monti headband again and pulling my hair up into our high ponytail and, as you can see, that bottom layer we are originally sectioned off now covers the elastic bit of the headband. So our hair looks more polished, then I'm pulling back the hair we left out for our bangs and pinning it behind my head, then also on the top of my ponytail. So it won't be noticed because the rest of our hair will hide it. Now I'm grabbing a piece of hair to hide the hair tight again and securing it underneath the ponytail with a bobby pin, then to finish off this: look, I'm giving it a quick spray with hairspray and loosening up the top bit of hair with a teasing comb To create more volume, so that's the final look done comment down below and let me know which look was your favorite. Now I can't speak for everyone but I myself have a lot of long thick hair so it takes me forever to curl my hair and by the time I get done curling it I lose patience to do anything more with it.
