In this hair tutorial I'll show you step by step how to create a cute romantic half up half down hairstyle with cascading curls. This quick and easy down do works on both medium and long hair - thin or thick. It is classy and timeless, perfect for any formal event such as prom, wedding, ball, graduation, homecoming.

Hi guys today, I have another surprise for you, I'm here with Emmy Emmys from the channel and you makeup: prom she's, a professional makeup artist here in France and she's, also a very famous blogger. So today we're going to bring you a complete Christmas look. I have created the hairstyle. That means we're in right here and family has complimented. It was beautiful makeup, so you can also see it on Miami. We put the link to Emma's tutorial in the information box below this video, so make sure to check it out. After some creating a base for this hairstyle, it's going to be a Dutch braid right in the middle of Emma's head I'll. Keep on placing the outer strands under the middle one, adding some extra hair from the sides. With that said, most of the hair near the face should stay loose, we're going to use it for our hairstyle as a breed. I'M also going to release a couple of strands from the braid, so basically every two Brayden steps, I sectioned some hair from the leftmost strand and simply drop it. The reason why I'm doing this is that braids tend to consume quite a lot of volume and hearing it as much hair as possible. But only purpose of the braid is to provide a secure foundation for bobby pins that we'll use in the following step and when the braid gets really thin. I stop releasing those extra strands once the braid is complete, I'm going to curl Emma's hair with a medium sized barrel curler. You could curl the hair at the back in any direction, but the strands right next to the face should be directed toward the back and now comes the creative part. We want to pick the strands from the sides and secure them with bobby pins, insert it right into the braids I strung from the right side, then a strand from the left side and so on. You really have to see what's the natural flow of hair and just go with it, and if some parts look too flat feel free to fill them in loop in the ends and securing them very necessary and when it comes to the bottom section I'll pick a Couple of strands and loop them around all the surrounding hair, tying them into a single knot to secure such notes. You can just spray them with a hair spray or pin them to the braids. You could also use tiny, clear elastic bands to tie some strands together. silvertales: I love how loose and flowy this "down-do" is. With my naturally curly texture, I'm pretty sure I could get away with fewer bobby pins to hold the looped and tied ends together, too. I'd love to see some tutorials for naturally curly-haired styles as well, as curly girls have such a wide variety of curl patterns, which can sometimes be a challenge.
