3 Simple Short Hairstyles For Summer Ft Innate Life | Giveaway | Ashley Bloomfield

Hello, my loves and welcome back to my youtube channel so for today's video, i'm bringing you part two of my haircare series, along with a few fun hairstyles for short to medium length, hair so for part, two of the hair care series. I'M just going to show you a quick clip of how i moisturize my hair. Now, since going blonde, i have been experiencing a lot of dryness and a lot of damage throughout my hair, and i just recently got my hair cut, so it is kind of healthy, but it still is really really dry, just from all the bleach. So every week i like to do a serious, deep conditioning treatment. Now this helps to restore any nutrients that have been lost throughout the color processing and will also help revitalize my hair and bring some moisture and sheen and health back to its overall look. So what i've been using the past couple of months actually is the innate life hair, mask hair care system and honestly, it is amazing, so i've been using the herbal hair mask the scalp treatment and the rose oil once a week to help restore the moisture. In my hair, especially from all the heat styling and since i've been loving this product so much, i thought i would do another giveaway for you guys so i've teamed up with a nightlife to bring this video for you guys and they have sponsored the giveaway as Well, which is so super exciting, so let's get started okay, so after my hair has been washed and styled and treated and blow dried and someone and so forth, i like to grab my rose oil elixir and just rub that through the ends of my hair, just To kind of re-add some moisture to those dry spots that i have everywhere and then i'm gon na start off with the first hairstyle, and this one is so super easy. You guys are gon na love it it's a very easy half updo for short or medium length, hair you're, just going to grab a small section by the front of your bangs and do a very simple three strand braid, and once you get to the end of That braid you're just going to secure it with an elastic band and then we're going to repeat the exact same step on the other side of our head once that braid is secured with an elastic band. We are then going to gather the top section of our hair into a ponytail and we're going to secure that with another elastic band, then create a little hole just above that elastic band and loop, the ponytail through it just to create that faux fishtail braid. Now you guys know i am obsessed with this little hairstyle. It is so easy, it is so simple and i pretty much do it in almost every single tutorial, because i love it that much so this is just a fun way to add that little twist to this hairstyle and we're going to repeat the exact same step, Just below that one little topsy tail that we created, then, if you want, you can go ahead and curl your little hair that you have left out and this will kind of add a beachy texture, because my hair is kind of thin when it is straight. I usually add a weft of extensions, just to add a little bit more volume, but this time i decided to keep it oh natural and just kind of add a little bit of a curl to add a bit of wave and texture to this hairstyle. And that is it for the next hairstyle i'm going to create a mohawk updo, and this is something that i love doing so you're, going to grab the top section of your head and secure that out of the way then you're going to grab all the hair. At the bottom of your neck and secure that into a ponytail as well, so it's out of the way then working with the top section, only you're going to create a french braid on the top of your head. Now french braids can be a little bit difficult, but all you're going to do is cross the outer pieces over the middle piece, while adding in some hair, so you're going to take the right strand, cross it over the middle piece and then take the left strand And cross that over the right strand, that just became the middle piece and as you were crossing each strand or each side over the middle piece, you're going to add in just a small bit of hair. I know i do a terrible job at explaining these things. I'M so sorry guys, but i don't know how else to explain it once you've got to the back of the head you're just going to continue a three strand, braid, all the way down and secure that with an elastic band. Now i have so many little broken hairs from all the bleach and damage that i've done to my hair, this last coloring process session. I know i'm not pleased with it. It was an accidental bleaching session. I can't really blame my hairdresser for it, because i didn't really communicate properly exactly what it was that i wanted. So i ended up with my hair being damaged. It'S something i'm dealing with every single day, i'm trying to get over it, i'm trying to live, but i can't so i'm just grabbing some hairspray and i just use that to smooth down the little flyaways and broken hairs that i have throughout the braid. Just to make it look a little bit better once i've smoothed all my little broken hairs down and out of the way, i'm then going to let the bottom half of my hair down and then working with each side. I'M going to grab one side of my head, smooth it out with a hairbrush and then wrap it around the braid and then we're just going to pin that strand of hair or that section of hair just to the other side of the braid and secure it. In place, then we're going to grab the other side of our hair, then we're going to grab the section of hair on the other side of her head, smooth it or back over the other side of the braid and pin it into place. Once you have all your hair secured and pinned into place, you're just going to take the remainder of your hair at the bottom, secure it in a ponytail and then just kind of wrap it into a low, loose bun and pin all your hairs into place. If your hair is shorter than mine and you actually have like shorts and shoulder length hair, you can just do like a quick little messy bun, because that would be a lot easier than trying to wrap it and pin all the little loose hairs down and then For the last hairstyle we're just going to do a super simple, two strand, braid or rope braid into a low bun. I'M just gon na grab two strands of hair on one side of your head and then you're just going to wrap them around each other and as you're wrapping you're just going to grab small sections of hair from each side and add it into the little twist And work your way down and then once i reached up just behind my ear level, i'm going to twist the hair all the way down and secure it with an elastic band. Now the fun part about this kind of twisted braid is that once you secure it with an elastic band and let go it kind of just fluffs up it just kind of fluffs up on its own, so you don't have to do much with it and then We'Re just going to repeat the exact same steps on the other side of our head working our way down and then completing it. The two strand twists and securing that with an elastic band once both braids have been secured with an elastic band, i'm just going to pull all the hair towards the one side of my head and secure that with an elastic band and then again create another low. Little wrapped bun at the side of my head and pin all the hairs into place once that is done. I'M just going to add like a little bit of a bend to these little bang pieces, or you can just leave them straight totally up to you, but that is it, and that is the final hairstyle and there you have it guys.
