Hi guys, oh welcome back so tonight, I wanted to take you on the journey of getting ready with me for my event this evening, so I have actually shot and posted this makeup tutorial I'll, put a link in the description below for you. If that's of interest to you, you can watch where this all started, but this section here is going to be showing you how to do this textured updo with a love length hair. So I love wearing my hair like this. I always have, but I didn't really know how to do it. Since I cut my hair short and I've just discovered how - and I thought I would impart that knowledge onto you guys, so I have just finished filming this makeup tutorial. If you are interested in that click, this link yup with ya, where are the links, click the link in the description so that you can see my whole getting ready process for tonight, but moving under hair? I am going to do a pretty simple hairstyle now. What I have done is this is freshly washed hair. I have blow-dried it with a little bit of this root lifting spray, and that is it, so it still feels way too soft to like hold much of a curl. So what I'm going to do to add a little bit of grit is put some of this dry shampoo, mainly through the roof. This is that's tablet, so will you Wow touch, I'm going gray guys get rid of that? Okay now really really grippy. I don't know pretty good, but no, I want to wear the dress. I'M wearing really. I feel like calls for a cool kind of boho glam little updo. So to start off with I'm just gon na throw some waves in here I'm taking my big curling iron. Any size curling iron to this um, it's a pretty. You know individual hair style like you, so here we go now with these ones. I'M going to do one that faces the back and one that faces the front, because I do want texture. I don't want them to brush out into one a beautiful wave. I want it to look kind of messy and textured. Ah, that's my first layer done now for this. I'M really going to do two layers because it really doesn't matter too much, given I'm going to be putting it up. So I'm going to release this look like so and with these ones. Here, I'd like to divide them along this bit more so than lengthways, because that's where I like the texture to kind of sit, so see how I guess I can do even smaller. I might actually just divide it like there, so it's kind of fat in that direction. That'S skinny from the top bring your curling iron right to the top, because you do actually want that texture and that curl, starting at the top of your head, the ones closest to my face. I always go backwards because I just feel like that frames. My face a lot nicer than when the curls go forwards into my face, so see how they go up and look like that. Now I've got some waves in there, I'm just gon na. Let them cool down a little bit and start from the back. So I'm going to take the back little section of my head Here. I am going to I'm going to take the back little section of my head here and spritz some hairspray in there. This is actually one called quick tea with my redkin just a little bit of that in there and then just tease that down for a bit of volume towards the back of the head. I can actually grab a little bit more from here and then the next layer as well. Hey you not and oh hi down my head. I'M actually going to grab a little bit more from the front here and also swing that towards the back. Now, I'm just going to run my fingers through those ways, I'm just going to create a bit of extra volume here, simply by massaging my scalp to create some friction there at the roots. I feel like. I need a bit more of this dry shampoo that makes it a little middle now. What you want to do is separate this section here. So you'll still have some fringy section at the front, it's quite hard to tell with my new duck, I'm realizing, but if you separate that section and kind of throw a little bit of volume in there and give them a twist. So what you want to do is twist it out and pull it towards the front. That is a little bit of messy believer there. This is definitely not a neat hair, so I do really want the texture here. So just fill it out and then wrap that fit towards the back, quite low and just bobby. Pin it in place same thing on the other side, now I'm going to just scoop up these bottom pieces pretty softly, so it doesn't matter if there are still bits hanging out and I'm just gon na make a little ponytail and pull that all out. So, city loosely now, if you do have enough length in your little ponytail here, you can kind of twist that around and make a tiny button. Okay, so you just kind of feel out wherever you have those little pieces that you want to pin back some of them. You pin here to the side of your jaw, come with me, pin all the way back and basically this is an updo that you can do, even if you have super short hair and you can't like actually get a whole ponytail or bun going on, because you Never actually use an elastic, you just pin it all the way strategically, so that it looks something like that. In my opinion, if you've got these little bits hanging out, it's actually super beautiful and definitely along the vibe of what I'm trying to create, and I'm just going to set this with some hairspray, not too much and there we go. This is the hairdo super, quick and easy to do. Let me get dressed okay, so I am done and dusted and ready to go. I have slit tonight segments into two parts, so there's a makeup tutorial.
