Chignon Updo For Extremely Long Hair

This channel is all about learning new and different hairstyles. We'Re gon na be showing you guys how to do the chignon up do now. This style is usually done on average length hair but because Greece's hair is extremely long, I'm going to show you how I do it. So, let's get started anything I use in this video I'll leave a link in the description box below I went ahead and parted her hair slightly off-center. The next step is to parts from the top of her head all the way down behind her ear on both sides. So take a section right here right behind the ear and I'm also going to go ahead and clip that part off to the side. We'Re gon na do the same thing on the other side, so now you're going to take this part of the hair, you got to put it into a ponytail about here, make sure that the ponytail is smooth without any lumps I'm going to spray a little bit Of hairspray just to tame those flyaways before I secure it into an elastic band, so you're going to put her hair up into a high ponytail, oh okay, so the next step is to take the ponytail and bring it forward. This I'm gon na go ahead and smooth it out by crushing it and smoothing it out, and then you're gon na put it forward. Just like this, I'm gon na have her hold on to it. You'Re gon na use one of these, so you're gon na take a hair tie right here and a bobby pin two of them you're going to go ahead and put the bobby pin where the long back part goes like this. You just going to go ahead and pull it right through okay, so you're going to take this bobby pin for the right side, you're going to put make sure that the flat long piece is at the bottom you're gon na just connect it with the hair tie Is that pull right through okay? So that way, when you go ahead and put these bobby pins right through here, you want it to connect it to here and lock it into place. Okay, so with this you're going to go ahead and take this hair tie first you're gon na go and take the bobby, pin and secure it to our head of the bobby. Pin is you're just going to go ahead and secure it downwards. Just like this and you're going to take the other side and you're gon na do the same thing go ahead and turn it then, and then flip it and try to find it inside part of the other side of bobby, pin and crisscross them over, so that You'Re, locking it into place once you have that done, you're going to take this pad here, a hair pad then you're gon na place. It right on top of this here place it right on top and you're going to secure them off with bobby pins. So make sure when you do, you can look in the front of her to make sure that it's all going to look like it's going to be even Hey, so make sure that it looks even instead of like this or like that, you're going to make sure That it looks either and then, once you are satisfied with it, you're going to go ahead and secure it off with bobby pins, so go ahead and take them and secure them off on each side. Here on this side and up front as well as the psyche. Here like this and in the back right here and then you're also going to just go ahead and double secure them by putting more bobby pins here. Just as long as you know, it's gon na stay secure, put as many as you want. You just want to make sure that they're all that this is going to be secure, it's not going to lose that as you see how its forming in into it like a nice Hill, that's what you want is to form that nice Hill right there. Now, if you do not have one of these, you can always take a part of her her ponytail here like some of this right here and then tease it to make one of those okay all right. So now that I'm satisfied with the way it's secured, I'm going to go ahead and take this ponytail and then bring it back. So I'm going to go ahead and bring it back like this. Taking my comb and just lightly going over and smoothing out the outside part of her hair, her tail just part of the hair, then I'm gon na take an elastic band and before I secure it into a ponytail like this, I'm gon na make I'm gon na. Go ahead and grab I'm gon na go ahead and turn turn around and see. If I like the way it looks the way it sits, I'm gon na see see how it sits. If it's it's just right, I can go ahead and secure it. If it's it's wrong, I'm gon na have to redo it over again, but it looks like it's sitting right. So this is what you'd want. So I'm gon na go ahead and secure this with another hair tie and I'm just gon na secure it right below the partway here right here, I'll be back up ahead and if you see some flyaways just go ahead and spray it down a little bit with Hairspray, okay, so the next step is to divide this in half just ponytail right here in half and now I'm gon na work on the right side. I'M going to take this part here and take the clip off. Then I'm going to go ahead and smooth this out by using some hairspray and combing it and bringing it back just like this, and I'm just keep using hairspray if you want so that you got that smooth, look! Okay! So then, I'm going to take this side here, I'm gon na take this strand and add it with this left side of the ponytail and I'm going to go ahead and wrap it around. Just like this making sure that is smooth sitting smooth on her head and just keep wrapping it and I'm also, as I'm wrapping it, I'm going to go ahead and secure it with some bobby pins like right here, okay and right here, okay, so again I'll go Ahead and make sure the top here is smooth, smoothing it out and then bring it and just keep wrapping it as well as continue to spray to get that nice smooth, look, okay, wrapping it and smoothing it, and this is all repeated until you don't have any More hair to wrap yes, I'm wrapping her hair, I'm also going to put bobby pins in there I'll just tuck. All this in so you're gon na do the same thing here over there, but reversing it. Okay, so take the clip top try, some hairspray smooth it out, make sure you smooth it keeps moving our hair okay. So now you're gon na, add this to this point so right here, I'm just going to go ahead and add it spray, smooth it and then go ahead and wrap it. So you notice that I put the bobby pins underneath, like this, make sure that you have it right underneath this knot on this part here, because that way, you could just go ahead and take the outside part and bring it down to hide that bottom into place. And then put hairspray so anything that you see that needs bobby pins, go ahead and place them in now. After I'm all done, and I'm satisfied by the way it looks, I'm gon na go back and take take this rat tail comb. The tail part of it and just lift up whatever I see, is too flat and mix it and blend it in to make sure that it's all, even so again I'll turn her around, and I will look at it to make sure that it looks even by Taking the tail part of it and just mixing up whatever is flat and uneven, I'm satisfied of the way it looks, so I'm just going to go ahead and turn her back around and spray all these little flyaways here, the style she wore last week for church And his stayed and throughout the whole time here at church - and she was running around a little bit too and jumping up and down it stayed perfectly into place.
