Hi, my name is Claire Coleman, I'm a hair stylist and I'm going to show you how to do a Grecian style updo for a wedding. First thing: we're going to do is we're going to use a string or a ribbon or something that matches your dress and we're gon na be wrapping it around the hair about a yard and a half should be enough. We'Re also going to be using texture spray and we're gon na spray that all over the hair and then we're gon na take our curling iron about one and a half inches and curl all of the hair, and we always want to curl away from the face. It opens the face up and you're gon na curl from roots to ends just to make sure that everything gets covered while you're curling the hair and we're gon na turn, and we're going to take a halo section. So a round section right in the crown of the hair, so we're gon na keep everything out on the sides and once we get it all separated we're going to secure it with a hair tie smooth it out and we want it to be really high. On the hair, because we're gon na be building up on top of it and then we're going to roll it into a bun and just twist so once you couldn't that in it doesn't have to be very clean. This is a little bit of a messy style. So you can you have a lot of room for error, so we're just going to start taking sections of the hair, probably starting from the bottom, and we're just going to kind of follow the way that the hair, curls and just pin and wrap around this button. Just to create a little dimension and shape, and you can keep the ends out and tuck them in later to see where they fall. But this is going to be the beginning of your shape. Sections are about an inch thick vertically and just keep wrapping around and keep everything nice and loose. We don't want it to look too tight and you can choose to do a side part with this. If you want it's not necessary a lot of people, just like a nice straight back, look now after you get the basis of what you want. Your shape to look like for your hair you're, going to take your ribbon and just begin. Wrapping around. I like to do one wrap and then secure that with a bobby pin at the base and then continue wrapping into the hair. And if you feel like your ribbon, has kind of pressed into your hair, you can take a comb and you can pull some of your curls out like this, just to make sure that you're getting the right shape all right. So it looks like from the back and from the front. My name is Claire Coleman and I just showed you how to do a Grecian style for a wedding, hair updo. You
